How to lose weight during the wintertime? -

I ve gained so much weight for eating McDonald s, and I m not liking it at all lol. I need something, some advice. On what I can do at home.First I know I can watch what I eat. Also I wanted to focus mainly on my stomach and thighs/hips. Let me know what you do during the winter time. To keep in shape.I usually jog during the summer time. It works really well for me to maintain my heathly diet; but here s what you can do to lose weight before april.You need to eat breakfast every day. when you don t eat breakfast your body basically goes in starvation mode and your body won t use any calories(etc) because it s trying to save the calories(etc) . So breakfast is actually the most important meal of the day. And it is true, your brain will work better if you have a healthy breakfast. Now your breakfast should always be the biggest meal of the day. A good breakfast would be a large cup of orange juice, healthy cereal(special K), a fruit (grape fruit are a good metablism boosting fruit, too!), and a slice of wheat toast(light on the butter, or peanut butter) -basically one big thing in your diet should be cutting down on things with a lot of fat. Try not to drink pop, i would advise you to cut it out of your diet for good, actually. drink low fat milk and water instead. If you wnt to know how mant calories to cut a day, go to mypyramid.com-it s a great planner and will customize everything according to the information you give it. and you should remember portion control, eat until you are satisfied, not until you are full. When you are just satisfied you will have a lot more energy and be able to do more things! Last thing: lunch should be a medium sized meal and dinner should be a small meal. Good ideas for lunch/dinner would be pastas because they keep you full for a longer amount of time.Exercise, very important. You should exercise at least two-three days a week. but since you are wanting to lose weight, you could easily exercise 4-5(you need some breaks) times a week. If i were you I would adivse you to get a membership to a gym if you can. they have all sorts of fat-burning programs! but if you can t, walking is the best exercise when it comes to losing weight aroung the waist. But yes, it is cold! you can always go to the mall and walk around there for a few hours! Or just try to do a lot more around the house. You can even walk in place while you re watching tv, or whatever! Now remember: crunches, situups, etc are going to build muscle, and the only way you will see abs very well is to have a flat stomach.

First off don t eat fast food it is terrible for you! I guess once in awhile if you need to. I would try to eat 100 calories every hour or two to keep my metabolism up and i go to the gym on a regular basis. If you can not afford a gym membership, there are other ways like i have comcast and there is an on demand section that has tons of free work-outs. Buns of envy my fav! good luck.

i usually run up and down the stairs a couple time (great for the leg) then do some sit up sqauts ect ....

i know what you mean. i thought that eating less is going to make me lose weight faster. but that s not the answer. the problem was that i wasn t exercising. and i think you re not either. just about a week ago, i started running about 2 miles a day. i also manage what i eat. i try staying away from bread,rice, and sweets. you should also stay away from sodas, even if it s diet. after about a week, i ve lost about 5 pounds. i also drink about 3 cups of green tea a day. that will boost your metabolism. it s very healthy for you too. i hope i helped out. but if you want there s another way to loose weight. you can eat your 400 calories, but then run and burn it off. so run about more than an hour a day. that will help you lose the weigh too. hope i helped! :D-Jasmin

You re not eating enough to sustain you. You need to eat 3 healthy but low fat high fiber meals drink 6-8 glasses of water a day. Do at least a half hour of cardio (walking, running or biking) a day you ll lose weight.

Cut out red meats or all meats if possible. After three months you won t recognize the new healthier you. You will lose about 20 to 30 pounds in a month.

that cant be healthy i think your supposed 2 have about 2000 calories a day.if your not eating properly your metabolism slows down and u end up losing no weight. eat a healthy diet and eat small portions regulary that will keep your metabolism going do a bit of exercise everyday.my sister lost 2 stone doing this.youll make yourself sick doing that.

sounds like you have a health issue.. 400 is not enough..if you starve your body it will hold onto everything you give it..thats why you are not loosing...

take it from some one who has lost a substantial amount of weight. i lost 70 pounds the year after i graduated high school. it s been a couple years now and i ve been able to keep it off and i m doing really well. eating that amount of calories is not enough, and it s unhealthy. like everyone else said, you re body is storing the calories you eat because it s the only things it s getting right now. you need to exercise everyday or at least 5 or 6 days a week and you need to stick to it. and depending on your height, age, and weight at this point, you need to do some research and figure out what your ideal calorie intake per day would be. the weight will not come off over night. that s not the way it works. there is NO healthy way for weight to come off that quickly. if you want to do things healthy, and not end up in the hospital, take my advice.

400 calories a day isn`t enough, you`re starving yourself and will cause yourself permanent damage like this. You should be eating 1000-1200 to lose weight and taking regular (but not extreme) excersise. The advised and realistic weight loss to remain healthy is 2lb a week

You must be starving. You need to eat more to increase your metabolism, then you ll burn fat faster. Do more exercise and please eat more. If you re really concerned see a dietician.

Even if you lost weight, isn t your goal to look better? To get there, eat a nutritious reducing diet and exercise. How to lose weight and not be so quot;plumpquot;? ? -

i have some fat rolls [[ewwww]] when i lean over. i want to get rid of these because i look really fat! it makes me feel self concious and i cant wear what i want anymore. i dont look pretty in my clothes. i want to look pretty again! haha. i sound like im going to go be anorexic or something...i eat soo much food. i cant prevent how much food i eat. for example- when i get home i automatically drop my books, call my mom and look at food and grab something. and its always unhealthy or if its something semi-healthy like cereal or something i have like 5 bowls [[im serious]] and force myself to walk upstairs and start homework. if im upstairs away from the food i can prevent myself from eating unhealthy foods. i wish i could direct myself to the healthy foods but i cant! ahh!im 13 yrs old and 5 0 tall. im about 110 pds on an average day. sometimes more- sometimes less. i do cheer twice a week with tons of conditioning. lately to get back in shape i have been doing crunches every night and things like that. at cheer practice we do TONS of consitiong. like- we do 70 push ups then ab workouts then leg workouts then a bunch more conditiong. i dont get sore or anything but it doesnt help. i cant buy anything or what not. i cant change my diet much either because my mom buys the food.l HELP

Ive been doing 8 minute abs on youtube. look up fitforthesummer also on youtube and click on the account named that. She has videos favorited i do those all the time and she has some really good tips on her page.swimming, jump roping, hoola hooping, ice skating, running, racing, pogo sticks, scooters, bike riding, bad mitton, volleyball, football, any other sport. Hop scotch, watching Tv and doing sit ups, dancing, dancing, dancing? hahaand umm:--- toning up ----It is possible. i think. if you REALLY try at it. just dont let any extra pounds get in the way.. just try light weights maybe..-- losing weight ---in the morning if you can wake up pretty early, thats when you have the most energy! drink a bottle of water plug in your ipod or whatever and listen to music as you run! -- thats my first step.Then you go home, eat a really healthy breakfast like fruit salad or something thats nutritonal. After that you pretty much clean the house or whatever maybe take a walk while its cool, walk your pet dog, if you have one, i like to spend the morning doing that while its not so hot outside!After that you wait a few hours being active as can be, then you relax a little and do some sit ups and lift weights to your own schedule... and your own statistics like weight height goals.. or whatever.. thats what i usually do! And then i like to stretch at the beginning of the day.. hahaMORE TIPS: chew gum - sugar free. well just try to watch ur eating and work out every day for at least 3hrs. drink lots of water and at the end of each week weigh yourself to check on your progress. if u arent makin much progress then just work out more and watch ur eating like super closly!! seriously dont just say ok then the next day u are eating bon bons again ok!! good luck!!!!
