Weight Loss tips please? -

I would like to lose weight, about 10 lbs, but i really dont have time for exercising but im a very active person. i d like to know if there s a way for me to alter my diet to help me lose weight in light of the fact that i dont have time for exercise. i currently weight about 113lbs. i dont eat too many fried foods or snacks i eat a lot of vegetables. im specifically targeting my upper and lower abdomen or stomach area for the weight loss. the truth is i eat very little and not very often but i drink lots of tea and coffee.

If you want to do this it is for life so you need to totally change your way of eating and exercising. This is not a diet rather than a healthy eating plan for life. So no more talking diet cause it means time limit. Here are the golden rules: Initially cut down to 1200 calories. Exercise 6 times per week for 1 hours a day. Do three weight sessions and three cardio sessions. No gym involved. Don t eat carbs after 4pm, never eat carbs within 2 hours of exercise or within 1 hour of exercise. Drink 3 litres of water per day. You can have a green tea at the end of the day. Limit your fruit in take to 2 pieces per day. Never eat dinner after 6pm.Adopt of low GI eating plan this is sustainable for life!Make low fat dairy choices Follow this menu plan as a suggestion: Breakfast 7am - 1 cup hot water w lemon20 minutes later have a bowel of oats w water (no honey) ORfruit salad w low GI soy yogurtSnack 10am - pear or apple (both low GI)Lunch 12.30pm - muligrain sandwich w 50g tuna salad (no butter)Snack 3pm - low GI yogurt OR skim berry smoothie (no honey or banana) plenty of ice, 1/2 cup skim milk 1/4 cup yogurtDinner 5.30pm - 120g grilled lean meat/fish/prawns/tofu patties (not fried) w spinach salad mixed vegies (no whites, carbs) OR 3 egg white/soy omlette with ham, cheese and tomatoSnack - 1 scoop of low cal low fat ice cream (if hungry)Exercise is must be intense. Refer to www.bodybuilding.com for your weights routine. Never do weights two consecutive days have a cardio day in between. Cardio needs to include running, go hard up stair wells and cycling. You get the most benefits from exercise when your body is totally fatigued and this is when you see changes. To maintain you can increase calories to 1500 and reduce exercise sessions to 3-4 times per week. If weight creeps up again due to holiday period etc.. go back to 1200 cal and 6 sessions again. Good luck it worked for me it can work for anyone.

This website in my sources contains daily recommended calorie intake and a basic healthy diet plan for you or anybody else looking to lose weight to follow. Also do regular exercises - running, skipping, crunches, sit-ups, press ups etc or even better - pick a sport that you are good at and lose that weight and make new friends to keep up your confidence and self esteem!Hope this helps,Good luck.

u dont need to lose weight!!! ur i13!! thaast so good, people would practicly kill for that weight!! i weight 112 so i know it seems like alot, really since last year i was 89, but its perfect!! how tall are u?? how old??? that matters to tho, it wouldnt work if u were 4 3 and weight that much

you don t need to lose

i dont think u need 2 lose weight

The South Beach diet works really well. I lose about 11-14 pounds in three weeks on Phase I. In fact, about 8 lbs the first 2 weeks. Highly effective, and you won t be hungry.

water no soda

I am not sure you really need to lose weight. However as it has been said again and again and will continue to be said, you cannot spot reduce fat on your body. It chooses where to lose. (If so I would be spot reducing my thighs rather than my face and boobs.) The one things you can do is tone. Somtimes it is flabby muscles not fat. Crunches are the best for toning your stomach and reverse crunches for the lower abdomen.

Eat more times with little food portions, don t eat too spicy food... hope i helped u! (don t worry bout weight it s a Burgess illusion)

tear off one of your limbs to lose 50 pounds you fat sack of crap

fat loss 4 idiots : web site which gives up front and truthful dieting information, don t believe in promising miracle cures to weight loss and other bogus dieting information..

Weight loss question? -

has anybody got any weight loss tips that do work!?i dont want to lose an enourmous amount of weight just a few pounds and to keep them off..?just to get a slimmer belly and thinner thighs...?need answers from experienced people who have lost weightnot from dumb people that they think they are talking about weight loss ok =]charzzx

I lost 90 pounds in 2006 and have kept it off since then. It took my 9 months. I think it s almost easier to lose a lot of weight than a little, because when it s only a little, we keep playing games with ourselves that it won t hurt to cheat on a given day.In order to lose weight I found that the healthiest way was to eat small portions of Lean protein (usually chicken or fish...a servings is 3 oz...eat 2 servings per day), Whole grain carbs (a serving is ONE slice of bread (or two slices of the diet stuff), 1/2 c. of rice or a small potato...or the amount of cereal the box says is a serving. I try to keep my cereals to high fiber cereals, with less than 150 calories per serving). Eat 4 servings of carbs a day2 fruits, just about any fruit is good for you. Summer is a great time for fruit.VEGGIES...unlimited, with a few caveats. Avocado isn t really a veggie, and it s high in (good) fat...and calories, so take it easy on them if you re trying to lose. When you re maintaining, they are great. Corn and peas are veggies. Except pea pods...corn and peas are actually counted as carbs. Try to eat 5 servings of veggies a day or moreSKIM milk (have 2 servings a day...or you can have nonfat yogurt)Watch your fattty salad dressings. Try vinaigrette, and watch the calories. Some have a lot of calories. A serving should have about 50 calories or less. Be sure and measure. Stay away from butter, mayonnaise, and cheese. They are all high in fat. Stay away from crackers, chips, etc. They are high in calories. The other half is exercise. Start a strength training program. Building up lean muscle makes your metabolism speed up. Your body has to work harder to maintain muscle. Muscle also takes up less room than the same poundage of fat, so theoreticallly, you could weigh more and look slimmer (and fit into smaller clothes, which is all that counts, right?) Alternate strength training with cardio exercise every other day. I work out 6 days a week, taking one day off (usually Sunday, and sometimes even then, I go for a bike ride or walk my dog).

I m just going to make this simple for you, weight loss is a lifestyle change, not an instant fix. That is why people gain the weight back because they go back to their old habits. Some great tips to start would be drink lots of water and water only, don t eat sugar, no processed foods, eat less meat, eat around 5 or 6 SMALL meals a day, and 30 minutes of exercise a day would be best! The key to keeping it off would be to eat like this forever. Once you get used to eating right, the bad foods will not look appealing to you anymore. Slimmer belly and thinner thighs?? That s where the exercise part comes in. Only drinking water and no sugar will def help with that though!

Running is an AWESOME way to lose weight. Do it almost everyday and you ll see results quickly (if you watch your diet, too). You can also do easy exercises like lunges and leg lifts right at home. Also, just watch what you eat. There s no need to be super crazy about it, but instead of having let s say a full-fat Starbuck s drink with a ton of sugary syrups and whipped cream, go for a regular coffee instead. Or instead of having a heavy dessert, have a fruit salad with a little whipped cream (fat-free is even better).

If you don t already do cardio, you should add some at least 3-4 times per week for about a half hour. Jogging, swimming, brisk walk... these all work. Also try a little strength training. This really helped me. I eat about 5 small meals per day instead of three larger ones... and I have limited junk food to a rare treat, say once or twice on the weekend. With all of this combined I have managed to lose 30lbs and I look really toned.

Slim fast works if you stick with it.. FOR MONTHS

Any Weight Loss Tips?? 12 year old.? -

Hey, My best friend is looking for a way to lose weight and doesn t have a computer so, im asking on here. She is 5 5 and 160 pounds. Shes trying to get to at least 140 or 120. Please help her! She desperately needs help! Thanks?

Stay away from Fad diets, sodas, and junk food and just eat regular healthy meals and get plenty of exercise should do the trick.

I think the biggest thing and I am guiltily of it to. Watch the intake of fast food and or junk food. My daughter is 8 a little over weight. I put her in swim lessons and started going to the YMCA and it has helped both of us allot. It is not easy if you anything like me work full time and by the time I get off work its 5 pick the kids it s 530 home it s 6 then dinner a little play time and to bed. It has been so hard to try to change this routine. I have successfully changed one night a week so far and working on the rest. Good luck...

All I can say is eat healthy proportional meals and exercise daily. Those diets never work, they may work while you re on it but once you get off the diet you gain the weight back

one of the best things to do is not just stop completely eating, but just eat healthy. dont try eating red meet. eat chicken, and lots of salad! What she should do is find out the different between hunger (which is the NEED for food) and appetite (which is the WANT for food) To do this have her eat and then wait 15 min. and then if she is still hungry eat some more.THE BEST THING TO DO ALSO is just plain and simple, dont go and eat out. Eating out is one of the worst things to do!!! Its not liek she willl die if she doesnt get her fast food. so just try to not eat out.FOR EXERCISING one of the best exersize is running and biking. Biking is defently good because you burn ALOT of caleries. So remember, dont eat red meat, find the different between appetite and hunger, dont eat out, and exersize and if she is commited enough, she will look weight! but its not going to be easy!

Now whenever it comes to weight loss you should follow these simple steps that have helped me tremendously lose weight, pretty quickly if you ask me. And I ve been trying to lose weight forever and finally found the correct system to help me out...The first thing you need to do is about 30 minutes of cardio everyday, try to get at least 3-4 days of that people...Exercising is one very important issue you don t want to be lazy in.The second thing you should realize is that you cannot eat everything in sight that probably got you looking the way you are right now or the reason you want to lose weight. The pounds come with the food you eat. How do you stop yourself from eating and get a little boost with ousting fat from the food you eat? Simple...The third and final step is the correct natural weight loss supplement. For me, I found Proactol to be the best. Now this isn t aimed towards lazy people that want to take a pill and sit on the couch all night and day. These are to tremendously help out with dieting and exercising. For me they were great because with my diet, they basically take out up to 28% of the fat you intake. Not to mention the killer appetite suppressant Proactol is. Every day you will fall under your calorie intake and find yourself one more day closer to your goal. These steps really worked for me, you should try them out for yourself even if you want to lose very little or that extra mile. Also at the time of my 3 month supply purchase of Proactol, I saved a lot of money on it at theweightlossplace .comGood luck and I hope this helps you out for your weight loss goals.

does she eat a lot of junk food? cuz that probably causes weight gain.. tell her she should try and excersise more and eat healthier.. and she shouldnt get lower then 130. i dont think.

Run, jogg, eat healthy, do situps try eveything can u answer thishttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;

Weight loss tips? Diets that worked for you? Etc.? -

...Or exercise tips? Or you can tell some success stories and how you did it.

well first of all dont crash diet, dont eat ANY junk food, eat healthy, walk for atleast 1 hour a day and do each of this once a day:100 situps50 pushups (girl push-ups)100 squats100 crunch ups

I don t normally like planned diets because they are often unhealthy. Never ever do the atkins diet because it is just the worst thing for your body. This diet I happen to like however, it is a good way to start eating healthy and get your balanced food pyramid, minerals and vitamins. It is called the cabbage soup diet. It is very simple and you can eat all you want, provided you eat what you are allowed to. Basically a lot of fruits and veggies. Its a good detox diet, and a way to test your will power. It also helps in getting yourself on the right track with eating healthy once you finish the diet.

Nur76 Rapid Slimming Pills or Original Stacker 3...both available here...http://stores.ebay.ca/universal-beauty-p

low cab.do yoga.it works for me. i was 68k now 52k. if you erahurgry just bend for 5 min. and drink 1glass of water

I lost 180 pounds doing the Atkins low carb diet...besides losing weight it also lowered my blood pressure. I suggest reading the book first, many people have the misconception that its all about eating lots of meat, and it is really not, its more about eating natural foods instead of the processed foods. People will tell you Atkins is not a healthy diet...these people have not read the book. They think it is all about eating bacon and sausage...it is not....if you do the diet correctly then you are filling up mainly on veggies and salad. But remember all diets don t work for every body type...I have done low fat diets, moderation diets, counting calorie diets, slim fast diets, and even nutrisystem diets and had no success. The only diet that I was able to make work was the Atkins diet because I have a low tolerance to breads and startches. You will have to find what works for you.

Many patients ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little help , I suggest using natural Hoodia (it s important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says pure or standard ).The Hoodia sold at http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It s pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). My patients have seen fantastic results with this particular Hoodia.

3 not-so-big meals a day. I don t do snacking. I fill up on fruit first before anything. As for excercise.. A little with weightsResistance training - situps, crunches, stretches, wall sitsA bit of cardio - 25 mins of jogging (so far)

Educate yourself, put yourself in charge of what you eat, and convince yourself to be happy about these choices. You are much happier eating healthy. You know that. Make yourself truly believe that.As for educating yourself, here is a starting point: A pound is 3500 calories. Your present weight requires 15 calories per pound to maintain, assuming moderate activity. So if you weigh 200 lbs, your body needs 3000 calories to maintain your weight. If you eat 2000 calories a day, your body will have a 1000 calorie deficit each day. After 3-1/2 days, you will lose a pound. Now, if you exercise, you burn more calories. So if you exercise 90 minutes - 45 minutes twice a day - and burn 1500 calories, your daily deficit is now 2500 calories. You will lose 5/7 lb every day.I ve been eating 1000 calories a day - below that I won t lose weight - and walking 60+ minutes twice a day, and the weight is falling off. And I feel good. And by choosing my foods wisely - apples, clementines, cabbage (a favorite), tofu, fish, lean chicken, hot dogs (100 calories each, no bun), hard boiled egg whites (another favorite of mine), lowfat yogurt, chicken broth instead of oil - I don t feel like I m dieting at all. In fact, I m eating all day.Using the information above to help you select what you eat will put you in charge of your weight and weight loss. Using a diet someone else wrote out for you doesn t put you in charge, it makes you dependent. You need to be in charge of your weight loss.Sorry to go on so long, but it s frustrating to me that weight loss is a simple topic that many have made very confusing. Keep it simple. Keep yourself in charge. Hope this helps. Post here if you want more info, and I ll forward my email address.

One thing you should do is make sure that you set yourself some goals. Make sure that they are reasonable and attainable goals. Once you commit to the goals, stay committed to them.I lost nearly 30 pounds in 10 weeks by changing my diet. First I eliminated regular soda and switched to diet. I am not a coffee drinker but still need the caffeine to get me going in the morning. Next, I began reading labels. I compared the fat content and calories of items and chose the best one. Next was portion control. I used to have a huge appetite, but I gradually lowered my food intake by eating smaller portions. The last thing I did as far as diet was I began to eat breakfast. I was never a big breakfast eater on the days that I worked, but eating at least something helped to jump-start my metabolism in the morning, so I had more energy through out the day.I added exercise to my daily routine, as well. I started small with just walking around the building, and doing 20 sit-ups and 10 push-ups in the morning and before bed. I eventually worked myself up to 100 sit-ups each time and 50 push-ups.If you feel you need to lose a lot of weight, it is always best to consult your doctor. Even if you are just trying to lose a few pounds, it wouldn t be a bad idea to talk to the doc to get his/her opinion.Good Luck! You can do anything if you set your mind to it. Focus and stick to your goals and you will be successful.

Do physical exercise as much as possible According to your age and conditions.Avoid Oil, Sweet and spicy foods and also junk foods.Try to eat more raw vegetables and fruits,okI practiced this things,Wish you good luck.

I don t diet. I just don t snack anymore. I spend 20 minutes on the treadmill in the morning and take a 20 minute walk in the afternoon four days a week. Granted, I ve only lost nine pounds in three months, but that is what I can do since I hate dieting and would fail completely if I tried dieting.I ve signed up for a fitness bootcamp in January to jumpstart my metabolism a little bit.Good luck!

I had some success drinking a gallon of water a day. The water made me feel full. At regular meal times I would greatly reduce the amount of food I was eating (calories down)- be sure you eat healthy foods when you are cutting calories. Also, I got a dog so I walk about 2 miles a day in about 30 minutes. Doing that I was able to go from about 225 on a 5 foot 7 inch frame down to about 180 in 3 months. This was about 4 years ago. I have since gained about 10 pounds so I started the plan again and I have lost 7 in about 2 weeks. Exercise more to increase calorie loss, but be sure you are still eating yogurt, nuts, fruits for snacks between meals to keep your metabolism up and working.

I found a great way to lose weight fast and keep it off. I do body cleansing. I lost 13 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. Cleansing will help the body get rid of toxins. Toxins come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives etc. The toxins get stored in the fat in our body. To shrink the fat, we have to get rid of the toxins by cleansing. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. To learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. Cleansing was good for me. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.com

My main advice is to make it as enjoyable for yourself as possible. If you hate the diet, bottom line is that you will not be on it for long. Therefore (like carbon trading), cut the things that are easiest to you first and foremost. When I m on a cutting phase, I make all my liquids become water, eat no sweets, drink wine instead of beer, and still stay with foods that I ENJOY but are still healthy. Don t buy into stereotypes about what you can eat and what you cannot (it s all about moderation). If you absolutely love chocolate and cannot do without, then allow yourself some in strict moderation and only as a reward for a great workout or sticking with your diet.Bottom line is there is no such thing as a diet for everyone. I have great success shedding my pounds and I still enjoy my food and am never starving or going to bed hungry (which is counter productive)Oh and of course do not eat 3 large meals as most of us are socialized to. 5-6 small meals means greater weight lose as your body is consistently spending calories to fuel your entire digestive process, and you are not spiking your insulin levels which will cause your body to store rather than spend the calories.
