If I run in heavy sweats will I lose weight faster or more effectivly? -

Maybe a very little more, but it s not a good thing to do. Your body needs to dissipate the heat when you exercise. Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You may loose a little more weight because of the sweat and your body has to work harder to keep cool, but I wouldnt suggest it. You can easily overheat. People have died from it.

look you have to run for half an an hour dailyor walking but running is betterand eat healthy food without grease and less carbohydrates and walk for ten min after each meal

Your brothers wedding was just planned and announced yesterday? haha jk anyway any method you use to loose weight that quick will only kill your metabolism and cause muscle catobolism. Your body will breakdown muscle fibers for nutrients instead of ingested calories. Your body s metabolism will go down making you gain weight later. So you may loose a pound or three from fasting but eventually you ll gain all that plus more.

HIIT (High intensity) or steady cardio if i want to lose some weight and retain muscle for definition? -

Im aiming for muscle definition, so will need to lose weight and continue doing weights. However im very concious on the amount of cardio i should do each week cause i dont want to be losing loads and hence lose muscle. I just dont want to be thin. Am i better doing HIIT cardio say 2 times a week to help me lose weight fast and hopefully retain muscle, or will doing steady cardio be enough?

Steady, moderate, low intensity cardio on off days from bodybuilding would be best IF you are bulking. If not, then HIIT is superior. If you re bulking and do HIIT, yes, muscle mass will be preserved, but you d have to greatly increase the caloric intake to make sure you have a caloric excess in the diet. You can not put on muscle mass without a caloric excess.

Well obviously you don t need to loose it if people keep telling you that. If you are trying to get bony skinny...that is not cute!! if you have a flat stomach whats the point in loosing more weight???? and why do u want to be 13 and have an size A bra???!!!! size B bra is nothing!!! My experience - walk, walk, walk! At least 3 hours a day, 1 hour each time. It worked for me.

I don t like the way I look but I am a little overweight. I want to be normal but low normal like almost underweight which would be like 80 or 85 so ill settle for 90. I am 12 yrs old and I am 5 0. If you are unhappy with your weight, ask your parents to take you to your doctor so that you can discuss options. Also you could discuss extra curricular activities that will get you out and about more often. Please realize that at your age you are still growing...so you ll probably lose the weight over time anyway.
