Weight question..18 yr old girl? -

I m an 18 yr old girl, and have always felt horrible about my body. I m 5 5 1/2 and I weigh 128, have been as small as 120. But I just feel disgusting and don t even like to go out anymore. I have a small upper frame(small/med in shirts) but when my thighs I feel are just bad. I wear a size 7/9, which I feel is unacceptable and I don t know how to get rid of the weight. I have been eating right, and swimming/running. Plus taking vitamins, and vit. c. Plus fish oil capsules. I bruise easy and get dizzy if I work out too much, am at my wits end and I have no idea what to do. Are there any sort of healthy weight loss pills out there? Or just in general... I don t work out every single day because I m super afraid of getting really muscular thighs, which would just be gross. =/

It s part of being a teenager... You worry about your appearance. But honestly, your BMI is perfect at 128!!!Don t do anything different! Swimming and running are awesome exercises and your diet is fine!Go have fun!! You re 18!! Just wait for college papers and the real world!! Go Enjoy your teens!!

i think you have a problem. You re quite tall for a girl and in the mid to low 120 s. And you feel fat?Just eat healthily (fruits, veggies, whole grains), and do moderate exercise. Please don t overdo it, because that can be dangerous, especially if you don t eat enough to fuel the workouts.

you are doing pretty good..just keep it up the only thing that i recommend you to do is drink at least 8 cups of water a day so u lose the pounds faster,, nd to eat 4 to 5 small meals..what that does it will increase ur metabolism and burn fat faster..i remember i did this for 2 months and i went from 2 15 to 190! hope it worksPD: check it as best answer ;)

i think your fine but if its really uncomfortable for you try weight watchers i know alot of people who has done it and it worked...

if you were my size and weight you d die.you re fine.you re over exaggerating

I agree with Undecided..guys like girls with big hips and stuff.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but your height and weight qualifies as a healthy BMI. If you think that you are fat, (which you are definitely not) and have a problem with your body image, I would talk to someone in person, whether it be a parent, a teacher, or a counselor. The fact that you bruise easily is most likely because you do not have enough iron in your diet. The fact that you get dizzy when you work out means that you are not eating enough calories to support your work-out efforts. Try to talk to a doctor about the bruising and dizziness before you do permanent damage to your body.As for healthy diet pills, there are none- each come with it s own risks, which I personally do not think are worth it.

you need to relax. maybe you are too stressed and thats why you feel sick.you are NOT overweight. so please, be grateful for what you have. many of us wish to be that weight/ size.so you have big hips/ butt? thats HOT. guys like it! even if you do work out everyday you wont get SUPER MUSCULAR THIGHS. your a female, so you would have to take supplements to get a lot of muscle that may potentially look gross. any muscle you naturally get from working out would be defenition and look HOT not gross.make sure you are eating healthy! and drink a ton of water. try to cut sodas and drink only water. eat 3 meals a day with snacks in between. healthy snacks like fruits and veggies.dont not eat because that can make you sick (dizzy) and stop u from losing weight.

What are good weight loss tips for mothers? -

I am a 32 year old mother of a 9 year old boy. Prior to having my son I danced for the university I attended and maintained 150 lbs at 5 7. Since having my son I fluctuate mostly between 200 and 180 carrying majority of my weight above the waist. I do workout occasionally, however have not been able to get below 175. I would like to get back to a 150 lbs or at least look lean and fit. What are some good foods to eat that are low in fat and carbohydates? Also what are good excercises to reduce over all weight and my midsection?

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com Good luck and stay focused = )

if you want to get fit and lose some weight, you need to exercise 6 times a week and not just occasionally. you have to find the time to exercise atleast 1 hour a day. (walk for 1 hr and dance for 30 mins) eat fresh fruits, and steamed vegetables. stay away from fried food, cakes, bread, chips and soda. eat baby carrots, 100 calories popcorn, grape fruit for snacks. dont eat after 8pm. good luck.

Running, losing weight, HELP!!!!!? -

Ok I started this weight loss program, In the passed year I gained almost 35 pounds, (WOW!! I know!!) so im trying to lose it by dieting and running, (Also lifting weights) well anyways, I warm up by walking fast then jogging and I get out of breath quickly and i get really really tired in like the first 2 minutes. Can anyone give me any advice so I wont feel so winted and tired?!!!

What I did to lose weight and get more energey is a full body nutritional cleanse. I lost 29 lbs in 30 days and have tons of energy. Check it out at www.loseweightfeelgreat.isagenix.comcontact me if you have any questions. wwdb74@yahoo.com

I was in the same boat and I have lost 30 pounds with diet, jogging and weights so far. I was so out of shape when I started I think it took me 30 minutes to just WALK a mile! Eventually I was jogging and could do about 2 miles in 30 minutes without taking a break(and that is good for me because I do not really enjoy it) :) I found that you just have to work your way up to it, maybe all you can do right now is just walk briskly but it s a start. Try to do a little more each time you go out, I think your body needs to adjust. Good luck!

Hi Juan, You r exercising too hard. Ease Up, slow down so U can keep moving during workout. Make the time periods shorter U won t b as tired.

lol, I would try losing weight first so the extra weight doesn t put extra load on the heart. also I would not like the jiggling sensation of flabby thighs, arms and stomachs. . :)

mabye if you eat a few hours before you excersize rather than after. also, stay hydrated.

Help please, its starting to get me down :(? -

hello im male and 17 from the UKsince bk when i was 16 i was quite heavily overweight, now im about 17 and a half ive lost around 4 stone+, im much happier and more confident.i found that losing weight at 1st was easy, and i maintained a healthy weight loss.now ive gone from a 40 inch waste to about a 32 inch(jeans lol)i wear medium shirts and have medium for everything, so id not really be classed as overweight.im naturally quite muscular and go to the gym 3 times a week, and i can see im gettin stronger.BUTsince i started losing weight its took along time, for me to lose fat from around my face, i look alot better than before i lost the weight but ive still got a fair bit around the sides of my face, underneath and cheeks.even though i look normal weight just by looking at my body, my face is still abit chubby and it just ruins the whole thing for me, as i look overweight in any pictures because of my dam face lolim also got abit of fat left over on my stomach sort of covering abbs, will i have to just push hard with the cardio at the gym and burn off like all fat and hope my face gets slimmer before everything else? becuz i dont reali want to be all slim, i want to bulk up abit so its not ideal for me to lose alot more.also saying im about 170 pounds, a fraction under 6 foot, how long will this take to slim down enough for my face 2 look normal for my weight, and is 400 cals 3 times a week enough to burn?(not includin wats burned frm weightlifting)

adelaide why are you promoting something harmful a child? all these quick fixes are seriously irritating me and you re targeting people that don t know the full ins and outs. you re wrong! hi. don t worry about it for now. your face will thin out eventually. what i will say though is that your body will reach a plateau and to come out of this you need to up your cardio intensity not necessarily the time. so if you have a treadmill on a 1% incline and you move at 6.5km an hour up it 2% and move at 7.2 km ph. every 6 weeks you should push yourself a little harder, whether that be increasing intensity or upping your kg slightly with the free weights.
