No money amp; very overweight...please help me!!? -

I m about 75 lbs overweight. I really need some advice about losing weight the healthy way. I DO NOT want answers about acai berry or diet fads. I WANT real answers about actual healthy weight loss solutions about exericise and diet. I have designed a plan that I think will work for me. Please tell me what you think and offer advice. Thanks.*Breakfast: Multi Grain Cheerios and Organic Milk*Lunch: Peanut Butter or Soy Cheese Sandwich on Whole Grain Bread and a Salad*Dinner: Salad and a side of Tofu (for my protein)*Snacks (twice a day) FruitMy workout: Cardio every morning and strength training (body weight exercises and strength training with a set of dumbbells I have) 3 times a week.What do you think?

Hey annie, I am a personal trainer. so what you should keep in mind is just your heart-rate and your training. Because anyone could run a treadmill and lose weight. It would take people loads of time in order for that one to happen. But, if you do what is called circuit training it ll keep your heart rate at a metabolic rate where it burns fat off your body. Circuit training is where you do multiple different exercises in a row without a rest until the end of it. That will burn fat off your body and get you toned up. You could workout like 20 minutes a day and achieve your goal weight. Some good snack ideas that you can take up is like fruits, like grapes and oranges. Even peanuts are good for you in the case, as long as they are unsalted. You should definitely be looking at fat content because bad fat will put on weight onto your body. And carbs would do the same since carbs are your energy and unused energy would stay onto your body which creates fat. When it comes to the calories..There are 3500 calories in 1 pound of body fat. So when you are working out and the machine tells you that you burned 1750 calories ( probably unrealistic) you have burned off 1/2 a lb of body fat.Hope that makes sense.

First check you BMI you actually may be in your healthy weight range I m 5 5 and they say my healthy weight range is 111-146 pounds. I would suggest just sticking to the 4 basic food groups and cut out the junk and fast food. And drink more water than you do sugared up caffeinated drinks.

Well, since you re not fat or anything- you just want to get more fit I would suggest just not eating doughnuts for breskfast in the morning. Not having greasy foods from like mcdonalds and taco bell and Arby s and all that kind of stuff. If you do go somewhere like that have a solution to that. For instance, if you go to Mc donalds on lunch break then have a salad. If you want to go to burger king get some chicken fries and dab off the grease. Greasy foods are the enemy when trying to get in shape.The movie super size me shows how studies have seen that greasy foods can do awful things to healthy bodies. If you have a major sweet tooth like most people then instead of having the chocolate sundae for desert, have a fruit bar or a weight watchers ice cream sandwich, they have fewer calories and less sugar, so they are better for you. For snacks during the daytime, have some pretzels, a nice cup of yogurt, a banana, or some carrots, or parhaps an apple. go out for a morning jog, take the dog for a walk, do an excercise video or maybe sign up for a health club membership. If you want a club membership get out the yellow pages and look up health clubs or gyms. You don t need to be fat or obese to join one. :YOu can join one to stay active healthy and fit.

This keeps your metabolism up and has been known to help with light to moderate weight loss.Also, cutting soda and other foods containing refined sugars will help you dramatically. And eating more carbs in the morning for breakfast, and less carbs, more protein at night. I don t think at 5 6 110 pounds you should lose any weight. If you lose more you may actually lose the muscle tone that want to tone up. Don t worry about losing any just start lifting some weights or swimming to tone up what you already have. It sounds like your probably just right.

110 lbs sounds like a pretty skinny girl already!! If you have areas you want to tone up then you need exercise not weight loss. You would be suprized what a difference a few days a week working on your legs, arms and abs can make in the way you look.

Just sticking to the basics of exercise and moderate eating should be enough to lose a few pounds. When I was in Europe backpacking a couple of years ago for a month, I ended up doing a lot of walking. I lost 10 pounds without even trying! Weight loss doesn t have to be complicated.

My trainer told me to eat small meals each day to help speed up my metabolism. If you skip meals, your body will go into starvation mode and therefore it will hold/store the next thing that you eat. Eat breakfast, a snack, lunch, another snack, Dinner. Also, don t eat right before going to bed...wait at least 3 hours after you eat before you go to bed. Smaller portions always helps as well. Don t drink pop or waste all your daily calories with drinks. Just drink water, it s free in many ways.

Honestly, if he has that little trust in you that he would make that comment... it s going to be near impossible to convince him of anything.Just tell him you re going on the diet- you love him and the children and would never cheat on him- tell him he s silly and worries to much- and that you want to improve your health. You ve earned it for yourself, with all your hard work.Then jokingly comment it probably won t work as well as it says anyway- and if it does - he s going to have a thinner, sexier woman in bed ;).

Weight watchers is the only thing that worked for me. Everyone is different and it may not work for anyone else but I lost about 60 pounds in just 4 months. Its not teaching you to cheat, it teaches you to eat. There is a point system and you have to stay in your range for the day for your wieght and you hae to figure the points for everything you eat. Some people don t like that, I didn t but you get used to it. Eventually I kinda just knew what the points would be, at least a good enough estimate. You go every week and it can be costly but it is worth it. You are suposed to contine going i think once a month or something once you reach your goal just to be sure you stay on track but as soon as I hit my goal I stopped going. I have kept the weight off so I would suggest trying it.

I ve known a lot of people who have lost weight on weight watchers and kept it off. If you re concerned about money, I have noticed people selling their weight watchers books/pamphlets on eBay. That s all you really need, especially if you don t have time to attend the meetings and weigh-ins.

dam thats a big cat for 8mnths. i would suggest feeding him a good quality weight control kibble food like science diet (despite what some may tell you, vets do not recieve any bonus for recommending/selling this product). they have instructions on the bag of what to feed your cat each day depending on its size so that it will lose weight. i would suggest splitting this amount into two meals - morning and night. once he is down to his healthy weight you can follow the instructions on the bag for maintaining his weight. he would also benefit from 2 intense play sessions with you everyday. buy or make him some new toys and rotate the ones u leave out for him so they keep his interest. a good game is to tie some feathers or ribbons one the end of a shoe lace and run around making him chase it. playing with him will also strengthen the bond between you. good luck!*i have fed my 3 cats science diet since they were kittens (oldest is 8 now) and have been very satisfied with how healthy my cats are for it. the only times they have been to the vet are for neutering and to get their shots. this is not because i couldnt afford it etc, its because they simply have not been sick! before these 3 i had a cat who i fed tinned food and supermarket kibble. she became diabetic at 6 years old and died at 7. i think its worth spending a bit extra for this fact.

I eat little but when I eat i EAT. Like i will have one potpie and somee ice cream and a salad but that is al I eat in one day. Basically I have been following The Biggest Loser Diet and it has been amazing. I have realized that now I can eat more [quantity wise] of healthy foods than I could of processed, junkie foods. Now I am almost never as hungry as I once was. First, I started cutting out all sodas, sugary soft drinks, and juices and instead I started drinking anywhere between 64-80 ounces of water each and every day. Drinking your water ice cold helps you to not give in to your cravings. Instead of snacking on junk foods try snacking on fruits and vegetables. Fruits can take the place of sweets that you would have been craving before. You should also make sure to watch your portion size because you could be eating the right foods but just too much of it. A great weigh to burn calories quick and get in shape is to do some sort of cardio activity for at least 30 minutes everyday. Personally I would recommend 45 minutes to 1 hour of cardio per day. Another great way to lose weight that will also help you tone up is to start a strength training program. Essentially you should be following through with your strength training program 3-4 days per week. Here��s an example of what I eat every day;Breakfast: 1 cup of cream of wheat [you can spice it up with bananas, fruits, spices, etc.]Snack: 1 cup of grapesLunch: Half of a ham/turkey [protein] sandwich on whole-wheat breadCarrots with a tiny bit of ranch dressing to dip it in. 1 cup CantaloupeSnack: ? cup cottage cheese with mandarin oranges Dinner: Chicken fajitas on Whole-Wheat tortillas Dessert: Low-calorie ice-cream bars such as the ��Skinny Cow�� brand ice cream bars. Am i wasting my time with this work out program? -

i started a new work out routine this week, i walk 3 to 5 miles daily and then follow the 17 get toned- arms and chest routine from the july issue of 17. my goal is to lose 50 pounds by the end of the summer, i m also starting a new weight loss program too,i weight 160 right now, so am i wasting my time?

A workout program is definitely not a waste of time. 50 pounds is kind of a lot of weight to lose... getting in a lot of exercise is a great thing though and you should probably see noticeable results within a week or two.
