Krista is full of crap: Some juice but make sure its all natural, because the ones that aren t are loaded with sugar and a leading cause in diabetes in children and adults. BS. Natural juices have sugar also. And there s no proven link between juice and diabetes. Lots of water, 3-4 liters a day, not all at once, but spread it out. Its really easy to down a liter or two while your watching tv or on the computer. More BS. No proof that drinking water is helpful. All this is good for is making you pee a lot. Also drink some after you eat the bigger meals of the day, it helps your body pick out the nutrients in food when your food is more spread apart. WHAT?? This is total crap. There is NO evidence to support this BS. (where does she get this?) Your body does NOT need extra water to pick out nutrients. What an absurd concept. You also need to stay away from any sports drinks unless youve just had a long workout and then you need to limit yourself. Most atheletes mix Gatorade with water because its two [sic] complex for your body to get all the nutrients out of. It needs to be diluted. More crap and BS. The science behind Gatorade has been going on for 30 years and there s NO evidence of any need to dilute it. It works just fine as-is. Again, your body does NOT need extra water to pick out nutrients. Don t take diet advice from uneducated 19 year olds. It s full of myth and folklore, sadly lacking in truth and science.

i have lost 105 pounds it took me 18 months but watch what i ate, and walk, walking is the most important thing in my book. good luck, it is not easy. i did not have gastric surgery , or take diet pills, i lost all the weight on my own

Tons and tons of water. Low calorie meals. Exercise. No alcohol, no sugar drinks.I always had the best luck on low calorie low fat diets, it s easy to incorporate it into your daily lifestyle so that you do not do the yoyo thing. good luck!

it depends how you are looking to lose weight. if youre looking to lose weight, keep it off for life, be healthy, and totaly fit than youre goign to need a life change. if you are just into losing it for about a few months i suggest slimfast, diet pills and all that sutff that causes you to gain it back.if you want lasting success--cut out meat or go veggie meat. white meat and fish is ok. most meat (all animal products really) are becoming more and more unhealthy every year. factory farms use steroids and toxins to rapidly increse the growth rate of animals and we eat those toxins. the toxins are terible for us and clog our systems. bocca burger patties are 70 calories per patty. they contain soy protein which our body just loves and most say it taste better. there are hardly any carbs either. fish is good because it contains omega-3 fatty acids which is good for metabolism. if you cant do the boca burger thing then try to only eat white meats. doing just this will help yor diet and success so much.-dairy. while calcium is excelent for weight loss ( i suggest a calcium vitamin) regular milk is non. if you dont already try skim milk, or silk light soy milk. soy milk has more nutrients and is better for your health. cheese is fatty. again try something dairy free... or buy no fat cheese. non fat cottage chese is excelent. light n fit yogurt is 4 ounces of good yogurt for 60 calories ( twice the sise of yoplait and 110 cals less) 3. veggies veggies veggies. veggies are excedlent for you. a huge plate of them is 100 calories and so many nutrients. try to eat them plain and fresh. spinach svlads are a great choice. 4. there are many types of healthy beans. aduki beans. black beans, calico beans, lima beans, blvck eyed peas, split peas, etc. theres thousands.5. furits are ok. fruits contain lots of carbs. while they arent as bad as carbs as bread... its still hard for your body to break them down. eat veggies more than furits but 1 to 2 fruits a day is good.6. limit breads. pasta, bread, rice all are super high in carbohydrates. if you must eat carbs eat them in the morning so your body has all day to break them down. whole wheat breads and pastas vre the only breads you should eat. brown rice is best. but limit these.7. stay away rom sodas, fruit juice. drink lots of water and tea. most dieticians say stay away from diet sodas because of their high caffiene content. but caffiene revs up your metvbolism so i never stopped drinking them. i drink 9 cans a day haha. but fruit juices non diet sodas and alcohol are pretty much empty calories and those are bad. water is great. drink it ice cold because your body has to work to stabalise the tempurature with your body temp so youre borning lots of calories. plus it flushes you i guess.8. eat throughout the day. eat a big breakfeat a snack (like an apple) 2 hours later. 2 hours after your snak eat lunch. then another snack 2 hours after lunsh. then dinner.9. breakfest and 3 hours before bed. eat breakfeast. its crucial. your metabolism well speeed up so fastwhen you do. youll burn off a lot of the food you eat faster. eating after 7 pm slows your metabolism down. not eating after 7 pm and eating breakfeast (unles you already do this) well cut 3 lbs from your weight in a week alone.10. excersise. cardio and aerboics. try jogging for 20 minutes a day or swimming or biking. buy aerboic tapes and cardio tapes. you need vtleat 90 minutes 3 times a week, or 45 minutes 5 times. if you cant do that much just do as much as you can. also buy toning dvds which tone up your muscles. 11. vitamins. i suggest taking nautral supplements (not diet pills) i take omega 3 fish oil, b-150s, kelp, calcium, biotin, and then a multi vitamin as well. but the only ones which help with metabolism are omega 3, b-150s, kelp, and calcium....dont be afraid tyo cheat here and there. if you dont, your diet well fail. youll try to subside all your cravings and one day just cave. but only cheat here and there. not everyday. reward yourself once a week or so. dont get discouraged my numbers either. some poeple dont lost a lot of weight at first but they lose a lot of inches. its not really what the scale says so much as how you look.good luck and ill be thrilled to help to you anytimeshelbi-hickey@sbcglobal.net

If you know you cant live without your one treat a day, dont fight it by trying to eat something else, just eat it and make sure thats the only one you cheat on a day. Otherwise youll get depressed and quit. Another important point is getting the right amount of sleep every night. You need 8-9 hours of sleep each night for your body to function correctly. This is an important factor of losing weight. Set up a routine for yourself and go to bed at about the same time each night. As for exercise, lots of cardio. Find something you like. If you have never exercised much before, start with walking 30 minutes a day at a brisk pace. Move on to different terrains that include hills and increase the time spent. After a week or two, try jogging the route. No matter what find an activity you enjoy. Walking to jogging is just an example, try hiking, rollerblading, biking. Once you get into a regular routine, if your not happy with the level of difficulty, try signing up with a gym. Spinning, pilates or kickboxing classes are great. It will also introduce you to working with weights. Talk to a trainer for instruction before using any weights. A cheap investment is a balance ball, it works you stomach while your just sitting on it, like at your computer and its great for posture. How to lose weight in a week? -

i`m 15 , i want to know how i could lose a couple of pounds ; i`m on a diet but i don t seem to be losing that much i want to mostly lose my stomach and thighs . please help suggestions and everything would be greatly appreciated thank you.

If you are only 15 and you are already having problems, its a good time to start WATCHING what you eat NOW. Look at nutrition labels, and look at the CALORIES. If the calorie number is over 100 its probably not that great of a food for you... If you are really serious you gotta count up how much calories you eat per day, i wouldnt go over 1300... just write it down... and also go for a jog with your parents or do sit ups and jumping jacks in your room for 30 minutes... You are young so you shouldnt have a problem. If there is an appartment complex pool you can go in that is heated, id try that... u can loose weight by swimming laps...

im 15 too , and i ve seen that for me just eating right everyday and not slipping little things help along with running for about 30 minutes everynight . eat the 3 meals ; breakfast;lunch;dinner and i know for going to school its hard but just make your own lunch that morning or the night before and ask you mom to buy you good healthy food . I have an exersise room in the house so maybe see if you can get a tredmill if you dont already have one. but dont plan on seeing a 480759459347 weight loss in one week , it will take a sometime but keep going and going dont push yourself to much and then once you get the a plato spice up your work out . sorry for it being long just wanted to help , im going through the same thing [: -kristyn.

First of all you are 15 you should not be concerned about your weight, but if you are having that problem I would suggest that you eat fruits and veggies and drink plenty of water because water will fill you up when you are hungry. Walking helps also. You should keep your body in shape because I am 24 with two kids not fat but I have baby fat (stomach) and I can t loose it. Good luck and remember it takes time to loose weight.

yeah I am 15 too and want to lose couple pounds alsothis what I have been doing 1) cardio workouts on weekends (gym, biking, running)2) watching what I eat3) eating healthier.. like carrots with ranch dressing isn t that bad4) only eating sweets once in a while5) toning exercises (thighs, stomach)6) cutting out sodium7) drinking green tea8) Drinking diet pop instead of regular

Dieting can be quite dangerous if one doesn t do it the right way. It is Mission Impossible if you want to lose weight and look good just within a week the proper way. The best advise that I can give you is that...Do not starve yourself. Starvation to many people is the fastest way to lose weight, but it s also the fastest way to gain back double or triple the pounds that you lost originally in a very short amount of time. Try to eat at least 5 small meals everyday and stay active. If you haven t been very active, then you can start of just by walking 30 to 45 mins a day. Walking is one of the best exercises for your legs (thighs) and to lose the love handle around the waist area.Since you re only 15, I will assume that you don t drive or go places yourself unless you have some sort of transportations. Therefore, recommending going to the gym is not very efficient for you. You can always stay active by take walks around the blocks and start to excelerate your pace as you get used to it in a few weeks.I hope everything works out for you and wish you the best of luck.

I m not a nutritionist or anything but i would say the best way would be to concentrate on those areas more. maybe go to the gym and work on those areas for double the time of the other areas. or if you cant go to the gym everyday there are easy exercises to do at home. also a great way to get healthy is to go to a nutritionist or maybe if you don t want to go to a nutritionist you can order the health or fitness magazines because they give great tips. also some great exercises that defiantly work those areas are swimming and dancing

I m 4 11 and though I m not overweight, it s really breaking my self-esteem. How to lose weight and keep it off and how do I STOP THESE REALLY BAD sugar cravings? Thanks! thanks :D

Hi there - I have researched this topic for c. 20 years and the findings ended up in a book called Why do you overeat? When all you want is to be slim . It s all about cravings - not just sugar - but bread, biscuits, cakes, even picked food. There are three very common medical conditions, Candida, Food Intolerance and Hypoglycaemia, which cause insatiable food cravings. All three will cause sugar cravings and they will also cause cravings for other foods. Professor John Yudkin wrote a book called Pure White Deadly , which was about sugar, not heroin! He thought sugar was one of the world s most addictive substances and I agree with him.You can contact me via the whydoyouovereat website (I ll happily mail you a free book - I want to help you). There s quite a bit of info and free questionnaires on the harcombe diet website. Check out the you tube videos and they will explain exactly what the 3 conditions are and how they cause sugar cravings. This is not your fault! You re a sugar addict, just like an alcoholic craves alcohol. It can be fixed, but you will need to come off sugar totally and only eat real food (meat, fish, eggs, cheese, milk, other dairy products, veg, salad, fruit, brown rice, whole meal pasta, baked potatoes, etc) The book will explain the withdrawal symptoms you will go through (just for 4-5 days) , what you need to eat to make sure you don t get hungry and lose the weight you ve just put on. It will also explain how you will be able to go back to eating anything but the key things you must do to make sure the addiction doesn t come back.Hope to hear from you!All the best - Zoe

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).Try to eat dried fruit (not sugared fruit, mark), whenever you want to eat something sweet. They are healthy and lower in calories than candy. Dry apples, apricots, raisins.Use fructose in your tea. It s a natural sugar, which won t ruin your teeth and will be absorbed completely by your body.

There s no way to actually completely stop suger cravings. I m 28 and I ve had them my whole life. At the moment I am not eating any sweet things (cakes, chocolate, biscuits, sweets, desserts) for the months of January and February. Yeah, it s hard. I craved suger so badly for the first couple of weeks, but if you can get past that they do die down a bit but they never really go away. You just need to put your foot down and just say no

Buy some l-glutamine powder. Every time you have a sugar craving take a gram or two. Don t over do it though. Also exercise is really good for sugar cravings and just plain feeling good. Do some research.

How to lose weight without sagging your skin? -

How to lose weight without sagging your skin?thanks :Dtake care :)

Hi,Don t lose weight too fast. And replace with muscle.Lose about 2 pounds a week only, any more and you are losing muscle mass already and you would want to increase your muscle mass, not lose it.I ve tried the methodology in the link below. It worked for me. It was way better than Atkins! :)

I have been getting body wraps and it seems to be helping a little. Check out your local spas and see if they offer this. It s kind of expensive though. About $80 per treatment. Another thing is to make sure you drink lots of water. Dry skin is prone to stretch marks and sagging. Also, do not lose the weight to fast. If you lose it fast then you skin doesn t have time to adjust. Don t do adkins! Lack of carbs can also lead to sagging skin. Swimming is also another way to firm the skin.

The best way to loose weight is to do yoga- an indian method which not only makes one healthy physically but also mentally and spiritually.you can download softwares whichteach you yoga.one can also order DVD online.

How to lose weight in a week? -

I want to lose like 20 -25 pounds. But obviously that s not going to happen in a week. But I want to lose some weight fast! So how do I get started? I don t want any pills or shakes or those little meals. So if you know a way to lose weight with out all those things than please share it with me! thanks! -Julia

I ve had a couple of the weight-loss body wraps. I think they are a great way to jump start your motivation for losing weight, because you really do feel noticeably smaller. However, I do not feel like the weight really stays off, since it is mostly water weight. I know it s been said a thousand times over, but it is really how you eat and how much you exercise, especially without any other supplement.

Food diariesIt is helpful to know how much you normally eat. Estimating from memory is not very accurate. It is best to keep a diary, and write down every amount of food and drink that you have over a week or so. Include even the smallest of snacks. Add up the number of calories that you eat and drink each day. You may need advice from a practice nurse or dietician to calculate calories. However, there are plenty of books that give calorie counts for different foods. It may be helpful to keep up the diary for several weeks to see the difference in calories that you eat before and after a change to a healthier diet. To lose weight, you must eat less calories each day than previously.Top tip - do not forget the drinks. Some drinks contain lots of calories, such as alcoholic drinks and sugary drinks.

I tried to diet forever ..but diets just dont work for meI ve been using this for a while now, by a company called Pharmafoods... They got shakes (chocolate, vanilla strawberry) and bars in different flavors like chocolate mint, double chocolate, apricot yogurt and coconut too), you can replace them with one or two meals a day. (depending how fast and how much you would like to lose).. i think that should do the trick for ya... Totally did it for me... I just lost 10 Kg in 3 weeks!!! plus.. ur losing weight but still being super healthy since its made of all natural ingredients and nutrients....

Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.

You should check this out this method that I use. It works just amazing for me and I lost 14 pounds in 3 weeks. You can find more information from http://bit.ly/654wejh9

How to.........lose.........weight!? -

I m sure, you ll all tired of this question, but truth is I am not fat. I have a very athletic type of body, my stomach is flat, and my legs are really muscular, ( Im a girl, just to say) but my thighs! They arE huge, i play soccer, tue- fri 3-5. I run sometimes, but I have hgorrible shin splints, and i play striker so i sprint a lot. I dont eat that graet, but im trying, please give me tips to get rid of these thunder thighs!

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weightevenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight inspecific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they areyour problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will haveto work double on them. The best approach is this:1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normalweight, lower for overweight).2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.3. Target your problem areas with exercises. Side Lunge SlideStand with feet hip-width apart, left foot resting on a paper plate.Bend the right leg while sliding the left foot to the side, torsoupright and abs in. Slowly slide left foot back to starting position, repeating 8-12 times. Switch legs and repeat for 2-3 sets.Lunge SlideStand with feet hip-width apart, left foot resting on a paper plate.Bend the right leg while sliding the left foot back into a lungeposition, keeping the right knee behind the toe, torso upright and absin. Slowly slide left foot back to starting position and repeat 8-12times. Switch legs and repeat on each leg for 2-3 sets.Front One-Legged SquatStand on a step or small platform. Lift left leg out in front of stepand bend the right leg, bringing the toe of the left foot to thefloor. Touch the floor lightly and keep the knee of the bent leg inline with toes. Straighten the right leg and repeat 8-12 times. Switchlegs and repeat for 2-3 sets.Chair SquatStand in front of a chair with feet hip-width apart, abs in and torsostraight. Slowly bend your knees and lower and until you re almosttouching your butt to the chair. Hold for 2-3 seconds, knees behindthe toes, and straighten. Repeat for 12-16 reps, 2-3 sets.Heel Drops with Leg ExtensionStand on step or platform with left leg on the step, right leghanging off the side. Bend the left leg and lower the right foottowards the floor (a few inches). Straighten the left leg and bringthe right leg out to the side, foot flexed, in a leg extension. Repeat8-12 times, switch legs for 2-3 sets.Hip ExtensionOn a flat or inclined step or platform, lie facedown with hips on theedge of the step, legs straight out behind you with toes restinglightly on the floor. Squeeze the glutes and hamstrings and straightenthe legs until they are level with the hips. Hold for 2-3 seconds, andlower letting toes lightly touch the floor. Repeat for 2-3 sets of8-12 repetitions.

I have lost 40 lbs. in 3 months and I know this will work. Eat small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, eat your last meal 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. Do not starve yourself or your body will go into survival mode where anything you eat will be turned into FAT. This will help you a lot but if you want more results you can exercise 3-4 days a week, include weight training and especially cardio (walking especially running). If you set your mind to lose the weight you will lose it and when you start seeing how good you look you ll want to keep going.Good Luck

Do some squats and lunges which will tighten up the tush and the thighs. First start off with 10 and then everyday add ten to your squats and lunges.

Look for foods that are: -High in fibre (4+ grams is good) fibre fills you up without filling you out. -High in protein - lean meats are a good option-Low in fat - Keep it below 10grams a serving when possibleCalories are energy, which is used to help you body function, your body burns them the way a car burns gas to run. When you eat more calories than you burn - you gain weight, when you burn more than you eat - you lose weight. It takes 3500 burned calories to lose one pound - so if by diet and exercise you can (eat less or burn) 500 calories per day, you can lose one pound a week.
