I am 50-year-old man. My body weight is 140 kg.looking for effective and best weight loss tips? -

Can someone tell me the effective measures to reduce unwanted fats from the body?I have also tried certain weight loss tips to reduce body weight. Health expert advised me certain body exercise, which caused more excursion in the body. Since 2005 I have lost just 5 pounds of weight by taking medicines prescribed by doctor. I want to know effective measures to shed undesired pounds of weight from the body especially from thighs and belly.

As you are 50 years old and not conducive to exercise, easy and effective weight loss measures need to be opted. Walk daily for about 2 mile , gradually increase half a mile daily, and fix it when you reach 7 km, take only fruits, light drink, avoid milk, take wheat made food, not that of rice preparation. Do ground exercise, don t do any weight lifting, walk upwards thro stairs in a 5 storey building, and come down in the same way. Keep faith on yourself, and after 3 months you would be in a surprise that how much weight you had reduced.

according to the info you gave me your body burn about 2900 calories a dayI YOU NEED to consume less than 2900 calories and start working out. i was about a 115 kgs till about two months back, now i weigh 93 kgs. Skateboarding will undoubtedly come easier to you if you were lighter however I ve been skating for about 15yrs and in that time I ve met some heavily overwieght skateboarders, and I remeber one in particular being very good his nickname was cletus (i don t know his real name) and he skated with a group of kids out of Boston who put out a few videos under the name Bubs who were loosely affiliated with colliseum skateshop (the guys who put out pj ladd s wonderful horrible life).. anyways those kids were all really good and prob still are...def look them up online if you get the chance...having said that the best advice i think i could give you is to pursue loosing weight as it will ultimately benefit you in all aspects of your life...dont over stress about it though, depending on how old you are you may end up growing into your weight..otherwise i would recommend watching what you eat...dieting is the most important and probably hardest aspect of loosing weight, theres millions of tips for dieting so rather then write them here i would just say read into it online menshealth.com is a good site etc. if dieting alone doesn t seem to help then joining a gym can be a great way to get fit and it helps you stay motivated. In the meantime try not to get discouraged if tricks don t come easy to you right now. Weight loss tips? Im 57 170 lbs female. work out 4-6 days a week just started? -

Just joined a gym about a week ago. I ve gone every single day except for sunday ( my calf was sore) I know i shouldn t go every single day so i can get a rest but so far ive been doing 40 minutes cardio on treadmill at a fast pace. and at least 30 minutes weight/resistance/abs training each day. I m trying to eat healthy, i cook all my own meals. have fruit for breakfast, healthy snacks such as fruits and nuts and granola and have dinners such as turkey burgers and homemade fries or tonight pork chops baked w/ organic apples. all i drink all day is water. does this sound good or is there somethign i should do instead, up my routine or not eat some of the things im doing? i d like to lose 20 pounds by the end of april.

Let me congratulate you on taking steps to improve your body and health. It sounds like you re off to a good start. I d say 20 lbs in ~2 months sounds like a good target (a little aggressive and also make sure you re concentrating on losing fat not just total weight). I d cut out the granola (it s healthy but has more fat than you need if you re trying to lose weight quickly) and replace with beef jerky or something else. For dinners I d add more chicken/fish and cut out the fries (or reduce). You can go to gym almost every day (but take 1 day off/wk to let your body recover). Below are some other tips that should help:Remember the more important part is your body fat % (not total weight). You could lose 15 lbs and if you re tone and fit, have a smokin hot body (or you could lose 25 and not look that great). Get your body fat % checked (doctor or any good gym) and set a goal of how much fat to lose in 3 months.Now, here s your help:You need a proper balance of excercise, nutrition, supplements- excercise: resistance training mixed with cardio. Wake up early and do your cardio in the morning (will help your metabolism esp. on an empty stomach). Do your lifting/resistance training in the evenings). Light weights/high reps. Can either alternate lowerbody/upperday (Day1/Day2) or break it up into a three day cycle. If you re short on time focus on your trouble spots. You can do abs every day. Use the ab balls as much as possible (they work your core in every exercise)- nutrition: eat chicken/fish, lean turkey, and brown rice/broccoli (or things of that nature). Limit the cheese and limit the salt (will help you not hold water). You can eat some fruit if you��re craving something sweet (you can also do a whey protein/banana/little peanut butter smoothie). Try to eat small meals (5-6) throughout the day. Be careful of not getting enough calories/nutrients. You re doing well by drinking lots of water (it is ok to drink pure juice or skim milk occasionally).- Supplements: take either a thermogenic fat burner, ripped fule, or hydroxycut hardcore. Make sure you take them b4 you work out and DON��T exceed the daily dosage.Have fun and mix it up once in a while...take a cardio hip-hop dance class. Good luck!!!

Hi,Actually I know what you re going through, I m 5 8 and I am trying to lose weight as well. I wouldn t recommend doing weights every day, your muscles need a rest. What I was instructed to do by multiple coaches and fitness instructors is to alternate doing weights one day, then maybe the treadmill, or eliptical the next day. Or, other option is if you feel like you want to do weights every day, work on areas like your upper body one day, then the next day work your lower body and alternate that way! Otherwise you sound like you re on the right track! Way to go!!! I ve always had low carb work for me, that s what I m currently doing, along with doing cardio twice a day for 30 minutes a piece.Good luck!!!

A couple of quick suggestions that I would give first would be:* Drink plenty of water - it helps clean out the system, stay away from soda.* Stay away from fried foods, even if you make them yourself.* Eat moderate portions. Have more smaller portions during the day, instead of the normal 3 meals. You ll find that you won t be as hungry, and you ll loose it faster.Now, you won t notice any weight lose for a little bit. My wife wanted to lose weight, in a safe, healthy way, so she joined WeightWatchers. She was never able to take it off and keep it off until then. I would recommend that to anyone.

by the beginning of Dec. probably about 140lbs. or less.also. it is okay to eat 1000cals a day as long as most of the cals. come from healthy foods but also okay to have a small portion of junk food too.can you order any books from amazon? there is a book published in the 90s(i think) called Hot Hips and Fabulous Thighs that has excellent diet info including recipes and menus and has an exercise program that requires no equipment and takes less than 30mins. probably get a used copy for a few dollars. i have a giant collection of exercise and nutrition books and i think this is one of the best books available for women. nothing too hard and the food preparation is easy too. plus it has holiday eating tips so you won t gain (much or any) weight during the holidays.sip at least a gallon of water a day if you can. it curbs hunger and also keeps the mouth clean of tastes. only down side is you have to pee alot.you don t have to do 100 sit ups every other day. 100situps don t burn many calories and situps don t burn fat off the stomach. do slow situps without momentum until you can t do any more. probably less than 20 and it will be a better workout for your abs than 100.

First of all why are you trying to lose weight? Secondly, 1000 calories for anyone is too low. You should be eating at least 1500 a day and closer to 2000.

Arm and waist toning, weight loss tips? -

I am trying to get in shape and want some good exercizes i can do without a gym. Specifically, I would like to slim and tone my tricep area, waist, and hips. I want to lose about 10-15lbs and then also tone my arms and belly, but I don t want to lose lots of weight all at once because I am afraid my breasts will shrink! I am going to the gym and doing 40 min of cardio 5xs a week, some crunches, and i am trying to watch what i eat and eat moderately, but don t really know what else I can do. Also, when you get cravings for carbs or sweets what do you do?

If you slim in one area, you re going to slim everywhere. Fat tissue is indiscriminate, so you re going to lose just as much from your butt, as you would from your arms. If you want to tone I suggest resistance training with weights. And as for the cravings, replace sweets with fruit.

Avoid carbs like the plague, don t eat in the evenings - at all, and drink lots and lots and lots of water.Take every little opportunity to be more active - stairs instead of lift, doing the housework as quickly as possible, etcAnd try not to think of yourself as losing weight - instead think that you re changing your habits.Good luck!

Eat small meals throughout the day, every 2-3 hours. At each meal, consume a source of protein and moderate your amount of fat. Consume carbohydrates based on the energy requirements of what you ll be doing in the next 2-3 hours...so if you ll be sitting in a chair for the next few hours, consume little or no carbohydrates.

stop eating when you re 80 % full. Dont wait for the buttons to start popping. And excercise of course. Its important to break into a sweat every now and then.

If you lose weight too quickly and don t build muscle, you might weigh less on the scales because you have lost muscle, but you could actually have a higher body fat percentage! If you do work and you are sitting in the office whole day, I may advice you to drink as much coffee as you can but not with sugar, if you can t drink coffee without sugar than you can try saccharin. I tried this myself and lost around 10 pounds in 1 month, my weight was around 100 pounds, now it s 90. Also try not to eat bread.

Hey im seventeen and i way 225 LBs i need a good effective way that is costly to slim down and firm up my stomache arms and legs.. and the faster and easier it is the better suggestions?

This is easy. Eat half the normal size plate of food. Drink water. No chocolates / sweets, or fried food. Lots of vegetables, and walk at least 5km each day. There is no magical fix for this. it requires hard work and determination, and of course less food.
