Any random weight loss tips, that have worked for you? -

1. Use whole body lifts; rarely isolate a muscle.2. Constantly strive to add weight to the bar and move it faster.3. The best anabolic is water.4. Did you eat breakfast? If not, dont ask me anything about nutrition.5. If you smoke or dont wear your seatbelt, please dont tell me the quick lifts are dangerous.6. Go heavy, go hard.7. Keep it simple. Less is more.8. You have to put the bar over your head.9. Put the bar on the floor and pick it up a bunch of different ways.10.Beware of anything that makes no sense.if it sounds stupid or too good to be true odds are it is11. Beware the person giving advice that looks like they in fact are the ones that need it12.Everything works when you put some effort inEverything works for about two weeks. Nothing works after about six weeks. I love books that promise Titanic Triceps in Two Weeks. Of course, the Titanic sank, didn t you know?Things need changing. You dont have to throw everything out, but like Pavel says, you must change things up so that you do the same, but different. So, when you change a program after two weeks, you must learn the most unused concept in training: to be subtle. Don t use a sledgehammer; use a touch of variation. Change your grip, change the angle, add a little to the rest period or cut a little off, change the order of exercises. Change it up, a little. 13. Have fun....odds are you re more than likely to stick to a program /sport if you enjoy it

Drink lots of water. Cut out all sodas, diet or otherwise. Switch to low-glycemic carbs only - that means whole grains, brown rice, etc. No white flours or sugars. Eat a boatload of veggies every day, and get in plenty of protein. Lastly, start a blog to work out the mental kinks that led you to gain weight in the first place. It really works.

Need Weight Loss Tips? -

I just went to the doctor and discovered I had gained 15 pounds in 3 months. This is very unusual for me is no surprise. I have not been as active as I should be and I have not been making the healthiest choices lately. So I need some exercises and weight loss tips to help me shed off the extra pounds. All answers would be appreciated!

Hello.. It is best know to reduce your calorie intake and burn more calories than you eat by exercise, try having more fruits and vegetables and specially Dark leefy vegetables which are very low in calories and so nutritious, Exercise best in the morning to speed ur metabolism and have a protein meal in the morning which can keep u feel full for a longer timeI suggest you eat unrefined foods, Try whole wheat bread, rice and pastas..still delicious and rich with fibers that can promote weight lost by making you feel full for a longer time and keeping ur calorie intake down. and make sure to get plenty of water ( dont over do it) ..having 3 cups of green tea could also help.. N:B : I dont suggest weight loss pills becuz they can have different side effects (my neighbor got some ) just know how to eat healthier and choose low fats high fiber foods..Exercises can be fun..you can find many dvds in the Cd-Stores which can help you with great exercises..Cardio are the best + running, Joggging can make you lose many calories.. Swimming is the greatest .. And for sure you can visit a Dietitian to guide you with a meal plan according to your age, gender, weight and height.Hope this Helped, Goodluck

The most simple of answers is to eat less. In truth, it doesnt really matter WHAT you eat, as long as you are eating less than your body needs to maintain its current bodyweight. Of course, the Ideal would be eat healthily as well, but the same concept still applies. Eating foods high in fiber such as veggies fill you up quicker, thus, you eat less over all. Look up High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), that style of working out has been shown to burn nearly 4X as many calories as the regular counterparts.Good luck

sorry this probably isnt much help but i would start out by getting a membership to a gym and writing everything you eat down in a journal

Who has any weight loss tips? -

does anyone have any easy diet tips or home work-outs (preferably for abs)

eating your 3 main meals normally and with the right quality and quantity and in between the meals eat light snacks like slices of carrots and cucumber that will make you feel full most of the time and you will end up eating less in the main meals that will burn your reserve fat around your waist and belly and your body will firmed and toned in a few days even if you didn t workout best of luck and enjoy your life

works for me!

nothing, unless you starve yourself, but I don t think you want to weigh 40 pounds.

Can you help me? -

Does anyone have any good weight loss tips??

well i recently did a research project on Fad Diets, which are diets such as the atkins diet, south beach diet, cabbage soup diet, 7 day diet, etc. basically diets that have strict menus and daily meals planned out and have fast weight loss and no exercise needed. those types of diets are all really bad for you--they harm your health BIG TIME. the only good way to have healthy weight loss is to eat smart, think well, move more so basically, eat more plant-based foods such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grain, that type of stuff. and exercise 30-60 minutes per day for around 4 days of the week. that actually improves your health and you have steady weight loss, while when going on a fad diet, the weight comes back almost immediately after you finish the diet and it has major health risks and side effects! hope this helps! (:--just a note* starving yourself or taking diet pills is even worse; they can sometimes cause DEATH and always cause your body to break down and lose vitamins, minerals, etc that you NEED everyday.

Eat Healthy and Exercise Daily

Eat sensibly and exercise. Cut down on sugar and fried food. If junk food is your bane, don t bring it into the house. Try keeping apples and other fruits on hand, and yogurt. And if you get hungry between meals, go ahead and grab a piece of fruit for a snack, rather than wait until mealtime to get voraciously hungry: You ll eat less that way.Good luck!

Don t eat so much and excercise

i always stop eating one hour before bed

Don t make it your goal to lose weight. Instead, make it your goal to live healthy. It s much more positive that way. Eat good-for-you foods, and drink water. Take your vitamins and get some exercise. Stay active.

hie....m..jogging for just an hour every day helps me a lot...try it out!but u must b regular...

diet and excercise, that is how you do it, make sure you only eat when you are hungry and try not to eat anything after 8:00pm unless you are going to excercise before bed. Also, if you drink pop stop, if you stop drinking pop for 1 year you could lose 20 lbs. if you drink a lot of pop

The obvious answers are cut back on your food and increase your exercise, but weight and weight loss is a complex issue. First, figure out how much you want to weigh -- and be realistic. If you re 5 6 you don t want to weigh 105 lbs! Then spread it out so you lose no more than 1 or 2 pounds per week. I know, you ll hear people bragging about losing 30 pounds in a month -- but it doesn t stay off. The body has a natural defense mechanism against starvation and if you make a drastic cut in the number of calories it takes in, it responds by slowing your metabolism so you conserve energy and don t keel over dead in the immediate future. Unfortunately, after you go off your diet, the body doesn t realize that s what s happening and just maintains the slower metabolism while turning the extra calories into fat, which it thinks it will probably need next time there is a famine. You can t reason with your body, this is just a built in mechanism we all have. That s why a slow loss is the only effective way to keep the weight off. There are tricks you can use: instead of gobbling up goodies while you read or watch TV, limit yourself to 10 potato chips, or 10 raisins. Then eat them one at a time, actually tasting each bite, and chewing them thoroughly. You d be amazed how long it can take you to get through that small amount of food that you once used to chuck in your mouth all at one go. You can also rely on the dieter s friend -- celery. It s great because it is mostly water and fiber. Fills you but doesn t fatten you. Fruits and veggies are generally good, but eat them raw for the most benefit. Add an exercise program to this regime -- it can be as simple as a brisk half hour walk every day during your lunch hour -- and you ll be well on the way to meeting your goal. Good luck, girl!

Ok u can get rauglur but no meat, maybe sometghing like fruits nvegies,Light cearl, and other stuff that healty.AlSO exsersiseat the gym at leats 5 times a week or get active.

Its getting hard 4 me? -

cant loose n e more weight 4 some reason i lost 5 lbs and cant loose n e more im 5 2 and 131 lbs can some 1 give me some weight loss tips, ive even lowerd my cal intake to 900 cals and im exerciseing alot! plz help!

Your body is in starvation mode, you are burning WAY more calories than your body is taking in, as a result you body thinks that the food source as scarce and as a result holds on to everything it possible can. While it may sound counter intuitive eat more and you will probably start loosing weight again. When your body is functioning normally, i.e. not in starvation mode, woman burn 11 times their body weight in calories per day. 131 * 11 = 1441 and that is how many calories you burn at given no other activity, this is just a ball park and not an exact, and especially since your body is in starvation mode not accurate at all. But if your body was functionally on all cylinders you are burning an extra 1441 - 900 = 541 calories at rest, you also indicate your exercising a lot, not knowing how much that is, but just for having numbers to use lets say you burn and extra 300 calories while exercising each day, that means you are burning almost double what you are taking in, at 841 extra calories per day. A pound of body fat is 3500 calories which under normal conditions is a pound of fat every 4 days, or almost two pounds of body fat every week which is way to much and probably why you are in starvation mode. I would suggest probably upping your calories by 400-500 for the next week or two and see if your body starts burning fat again. Good Luck

You ve probably stopped losing because your body thinks you are starving it. 900 calories is too little, you should eat a minimum of 1000, prefurably no less than 1200 really. Try eating a little more and changing up your exercise routine, you could ve just hit an early slump.

Diets typically don t work (long term) because people reach their target weight, stop the diet, and return to their previous lifestyle; thus gaining the weight back and maybe more. To be honest, most of the diets out there use questionable methods and probably do your body more harm than good. There is no substitute for healthy eating and exercise. Losing weight and *maintaining it* requires persistence, dedication, and discipline. It truly is a lifestyle change. That s why most people choose diets; it s easier to get a quick fix rather than change their lifestyle.Perhaps you should checkout a dietitian and or a personal trainer.

Am I fat!?!?! Please!!!? -

I am 5 5 or 5 6 I m not really sure. I weighed 128 BEFORE Christmas. I m an actress so I do shows, and I did a show and got to 124 from all the stress and stuff. When the show ENDED and Christmas ARRIVED I got to my all time high of 132! Now I weigh 125.8, and I am wondering if you have any weight loss tips or what you think my ideal weight should be?

I m sorry, but shup up!!You are so NOT FAT and I think you already know it.Stop freaking out.

HI, I don t see any fat coming from you girl. In fact, I kind off picture you in my mind, and in my opinion, you have the right weight for you heigh. However I do understand your concern. The problem is that while you think what to do, you just waist all the energy rather than taking action. Besides excercising, I know that there is a lab test now that analyzes your body and the foods you should and shouldn t eat, so you take really take those pounds once and for all out of your body. So what did you lose, probably 99 % is just water that you can regain any time. By the way, sex terapy is good also to loose weight, but you must have it often. Perhaps this is your solution. Kisses, Alex.

If you are 5 5 then your bmi is 20.9 If you are 5 6 then your bmi is 20.3 This is good because the healthy bmi is 18.5-24.9 Underweight = 18.5 Normal weight = 18.5-24.9 Overweight = 25-29.9 Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater Some weight loss tips are to eat healthy and drink lots of water. Make a diet and try not to eat junkfood and soda!

No! You are most certainly NOT fat. I m 5 0 and I m supposed to be between 105 and 120. I know your job pressures you to be exceedingly thin, but if you get sick from it you won t be able to work at all. See a doctor and discuss what your weight range should be and work within that range.
