What are some good weight loss tips for a 16 year old girl? -

Im a 16 year old girl, 5 2 , and 155 pounds. My heaviest weight was 164. Im trying to get to 125 by March or April. I play Dance Dance Revolution 2-3 hours a day. I try to stay in the 700-1100 calories a day limit. I drink lots of water stuff....so my only problem is overeating and eating bad foods sometimes. Does anyone have any good tips so I can lose 30 pounds by March/April? I dont know if DDR is enough....should I be doing more workouts? I do workout mode and burn about 80 calories each time, and usually play it 2-3 hours a day. Thanks!!!!!

You should be able to lose 10 lbs a month pretty easily if you eat properly and continue your exercise. Try eating small meals 5 or 6 times a day instead of larger meals and try not to eat after 6 pm and if you do eat after that, make sure its very light. If you haven t tried weight training, that will help as well because it increases your resting metabolism. Your body is in repair mode to fix the muscles so it burns more calories.

you should do more exersizes then just DDR. You should take daily JOG S not walks.. and wear a lot of clothing. wear like 2/3 sweatshirts.. and a bunch of layers. The reasonfor that is you ll get hot real quick and you ll start sweating. As soon as you starting to sweat a lot, wipe it all off, cause if u just leave it there you ll start to cool down and wont sweat as much. it won t be as conmfortable with all those layers, but it ll be worth it in the end!! good luck! oh, and eat healthy

Right now I��m taking two pills which make me gain weight as well as can cause diabetes. I was wondering there are any other pills that I can switch too which don��t cause weight gain or cause diabetes. Weight loss/exercise, help!!!? -

hey guys, i am 17 femaleso we just got a new avant treadmill and for the past 2 weeks i have been doing a half hour, sometimes 2 half hour weight loss programs everyday and i have put on 3 kilos!! :( my diet is pretty good, i dont ever eat takeout and include alot of fresh fruit and vegies, anyway i have come up with a diet plan and wanted someones opinion !breakfast- porrige with honey recess-nuts and seedslunch-apple, banana afternoon tea- egg white omlette with ricotta cheese tea-steamed fish or chicken, fresh capsicum, cucumber tomatoes, snow peas and carrot. also drinking 2litres of water a day and 2 half hour weight loss programs which would mean i would be walking 24km a week! you are going into this the wrong way diets don t last because you don t want to do them and they are boring but lifestyle changes work!keep up the exercise but only eat your normal 3 meals a day breakfast lunch and dinner with no snacks i know it will take longer but if you keep it up forever you lose weight and keep it off! bonas!

I m pushing 50 and climbing over 200 pounds on a 5 10 frame. I m wondering about just cutting out the junk food and eating a gracious plenty of healthy veggies, fruits, low fat meat, low fat dairy and whole grains. I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. So your body doesnt go into starvation mode, YOU NEED TO TAKE SUNDAY OFF. If you stick with this you will have a great body. also drink a least 8oz of water daily!
