How To Lose Weight, Keep It Off, And What To Do/Eat? -

Im Seventeen Years Old And Im about 6 ft. 3 I now Weigh about 258 lbs. Where I Was Weighing 290 lbs. However I am still overweight. I Have been Doing good using the RightSize Smoothies, Which Suppress Your Appetite In the Place of a Meal. They work GREAT but Im getting tired of them, So i need some new stuff to do/eat!?? I exercise regularly and lift weights very often but i want to take it to the next level.

Okay as ive said in previous posts first of all you need to start doing alot of cardio to reduce the fat content in your body. Mix it up with weight lifting if you want to gain muscle but be aware that your weight might even increase because muscle is heavier than fat. Your diet should consist of COMPLEX carbs not SIMPLE. so stay away from sugary stuff thats your cakes etc etc. Drink plenty of water if you do weight lifting as it will feed your muscles. Work out your BMR you can search this in google this will tell you how many calories you burn a day start reducing that amount by 500 calories for the whole week and then when you see weight loss and it looks like your not losing it anymore then decrease it by another 500 calories for the week

the thing with loosing weight is that you should get your body in a state where he is used to your eating habits and so, so supressing your appettite will work to loose weight, but not to keep it steady, what you should do is go for more vegetables, fruit and so on, avoid snack between meals, and know the difference between having eaten enough, and being full full...

Eat food pyramid plans.I confirm.I ve hit 10 pounds/ 2 weeks.

Ah but if we could actually answer that question the weight loss business would put hits out on us...no one takes away their billions right?

when i was younger i had a fast matbolism when i was younger so i ate soo much without gaining any weight! i got my period and my matoblism started to slow down and i gain like 12lbs. i was normal but i like being skinny so i decided to make a good diet and workout plan. i would wake up an extra hour early before school and burn off 150-200 cals and then do some yoga. for breakfast i would have special K with milk or i would have some drinkable yogurt and vitaminwater10 for drink. for lunch i would have some fruit and a salad and water. after school i dont have snacks and i would do 15 crunches, run up and down my stairs 10-20 times and then burn off another 150-200cals on my tredmill. then if i got hungry before dinner i would have some low cal popcorn. for dinner it doesnt matter wat i had but it had to be 350cals or lower. then after dinner very gradually i would burn off 100-150cals and then do some yoga before bed. i know that it seems like alot but its just some things to do. oh and i love walking and talking so i would usually take my dogs for walks when i got bored and talking while standing up or doing something active actually burns off calories. and always remember water or vitaminwater10 to drink. its the best to drink. and instead of sitting around watching tv or on your computer try doing somethings more active like walking your dog or just going on a walk with a friend or ride your bike or go for a run or you think of something. and in 12 days i lost 12lbs and i just keep at it and i actual weigh less now than i did before and im much healthier. but if you dont like this when i was pregnant i went on jenny craige it really works its some good healthy but low cal meals and they give you a meal plan and work with you and then you work out on your own which you seen u have that covered so good luck! hope i could help!!

1. Drink plenty of water. Our body needs a lot of water so give in to water. Water is not just way to flush out toxin but if you have more water in your body you will generally feel healthier and fitter. This it self will discourage any tendency to gorge. The best thing about water is that is has no calories at all.2. Start your day with a glass of water. As soon as you wake up, gulp down a glass of cool water. Its a wonderful way to start you day and you only need a lesser quantity of your breakfast drink after that. A glass of water lets out all your digestive juices and sort of lubricates the insides of your body. You may have your morning cup of tea but have it after a glass of water. It is good for you.3. Drink a glass of water before you start the meal. Water naturally needs some space so that you feel fuller without actually having to stuff yourself.4. Have another glass of water while you are having the meal. Again this is another way of making yourself full so that you can actually rise from the table eating less but feeling full just the same. Instead of drinking it one gulp, take sips after each morsel. It will help the food to settle faster so that you get that feeling that you are full faster. SIDENOTE: Water is such a remarkable thing, but seldom do we give it the credit that it deserves. Did you know that over 66% of your body weight is nothing but water Its amazing! Water also plays a vital role in weight control, which is why I donated so much space to it, above.5. Stay away from sweetened bottle drinks, especially sodas. Hey all those colas and fizzy drinks are sweetened with sugar and sugar means calories. The more you can cut out on these sweetened bottle drinks, the better for you. So if you must drink sodas, then stick to diet sodas.6. Include in your diet things that contain more water like tomatoes and watermelons. These things contain 90 to 95 % water so that there is nothing that you have to lose by feasting on them. They fill you up without adding to the pounds.7. Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars. When you eat fruit, you are taking in a lot of fiber, which is needed by the body, and fruits of course are an excellent source of vitamins.8. If you do have a craving for fruit juice then go for fresh fruit juice instead of these that contain artificial flavors and colors. Or even better, try making your own fruit juice taking care not to sweeten it with too many calories.9. Choose fresh fruit to processed fruits. Processed and canned fruits do not have as much fiber as fresh fruit and processed and canned fruits are nearly always sweetened.10. Increase your fiber intake. Like I mentioned, the body needs a lot of fiber. So try to include in your diet as many fruits and vegetables as you can.11. Go crazy on vegetables. Vegetables are your best bet when it comes to losing pounds. Nature has a terrific spread when it comes to choosing vegetables. And the leafy green vegetables are your best bet. Try to include a salad in you diet always

How can i lose weight fast ?any tips? -

i need to lose weight about 15to20 lbs by April 10 if i start on monday march17how can i lose weight?

A healthy amount of weight to lose is about 2 pounds a week, and that is if you have the weight to lose. If you are really devoted, you might be able to lose a little more in the first couple weeks. The rule is you have to shed 3500 calories to lose a pound, so exercise is key. You also lose calories based on your usual daily activities, and basal calories that your body sheds naturally. I am a big fan of weight watchers, but I also use fitday to track the amount of calories in/out I am getting.

exercise a lot, eat healthy stuff.. the usual.

I lost 10.5 #s from a Friday at 2PM and the following Monday @ 7:00 AM.It was not a perm. loss, I know...but it was necessary to make the weight for a military school I had to attend.I spent every possible moment in the base gym, mostly in the sauna and playing racquetball. All I sipped on was Grapefruit juice.BTW, I actually kept it off, but that was the hard part.Good Luck.

Yes, one tip. Lose the notion that it will be a fast process. And that much weight in that short of an amount of time WILL be unhealthy. So if you want to sacrifice your health..then your alternative is to stop eating or cut off a limb

try dropping out all carbs, or atleast cutting back on them. just drink water, and try exercising for atleast 30 minutes a day, or just take a walk or something.

To lose weight and stay healthy, you should only lose 1 or 2 pounds a week. Having the notion of losing 15-20 pounds in a month is rather absurd--not only is it unhealthy, but when you start to lose weight, it RARELY comes off quickly until you ve established a good routine. To successfully lose weight and keep it off, you need to make a life long, lifestyle change.I recommend checking out Prevention Mag online and Womens Health Mag online. They both offer tips on losing weight in a healthy way, exercises, results of recent medical studies, how to keep your body in tip-top shape without having to dedicate all day to it, delicious and healthy recipes, etc. They ve helped me lose about 60 pounds over the past year, and keep every pound of it off.

How to lose weight fast, but retain muscle? -

I am looking to lose 5-10 pounds, and retain muscle, and perhaps gain muscle as well. I know the typical, 60 mins of cardio a day. But I was wondering, I am going to have a lot of free time. Are there any benefits(or disadvantages), to say, going to the gym in the morning, doing my cardio and then in the afternoon/evening doing my weight training?

david, I have been trying to lose weight for about 6 months now and have tried almost every single weight loss pill thats out there... 99% of them don t work, I say 99% because I recently tried one that is starting to show some real results, acai berry pills..? so far I have been taking them for 2 months and I have lost 22lbs! YEAH ME.. 28lbs to go, but anyways I got them for free from this website, they may still be doing it.. not sure but check it out.http://dodealit.com/acaifreetrial/hope this helps,

You re not going to gain much muscle doing heavy cardio, no matter how much protein you eat. However, doing more full-body and cardio-oriented weight training will help strengthen and tone the muscles, so that when the fat leaves, the muscles underneath will look better. Use lighter weight and do more reps. And eat tons of protein.

one thing that you should keep in mind is not to over train, esp. since you want to have good muscle mass. do your cardio in the morning, and weight training in the eveningif your looking for some help visit my website maybe it will help you www.tofitness.ca

3 Tips to Lose Weight Fast1. Believe it or not it is important to eat some healthy fats in the majority of your meals. If you want to maintain proper muscle building hormone levels and fat burning in your body, eating sufficient healthy fats is vital. Healthy fats not only assist in burning fat and building muscle, but also helps with appetite control which is also very important when trying to lose weight. There are many sources of dietary fats, but the healthiest of them all are in oils such as extra virgin olive oil (contains the highest antioxidant level of all olive oils) and coconut oil (medium chain triglycerides), raw nuts and seeds, avocados, egg yolks (should be free range organic), and grass-fed meats (the conjugated linoleic acid can help build muscle and burn fat).Test this tip by eating about a handful of raw nuts about 30 minutes before you eat. Almonds, pecans, walnuts are healthy choices for this tip. This can help satisfy your appetite and also give your body some of that healthy fat we have been talking about along with some fiber and protein. As a result, you can intake less calories at meal time and still get more nutrition at the same time because of the high nutrient density of the the nuts.2. Eat high quality protein with every snack and meal that you eat. This can come from grass-fed meats and raw dairy or it can come from nuts and beans which provide an excellent appetite suppressant so you can stay on top of your calorie intake. If you are working out regularly, you need enough quality proteins to help you build lean muscle so your metabolism can run at a higher rate.Another fact that many people don t realize is that protein helps your body control blood sugar and insulin levels. It does this by slowing the breakdown of carbohydrates that you ingested. Be sure to have a protein source with meals.3. There is a lot of controversy over extreme low-carb diets, but in my opinion eating excessive processed carbohydrates is one of the main reasons that so many people struggle to lose weight all their lives. Avoid refined sugars and grain-based starches.Whole fruits and berries contain natural sugars that are okay to consume and the fiber in the fruit actually helps your body slow the blood sugar response. Fruit juices, however, are mostly sugar and don t have any fiber left because of processing the fruit.

How would you lose weight fast? -

I have tried to lose weight but seems that i cant. I have excise a lot but for some weird reason it doesnt work that well for me. Im the kind of person that can eat a little bit of food and still gain weight on it. Is there anyway I can lose weight fast without hurting myself? Here are some easy fast weight loss ideas: Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Drinking eight glasses of water is almost like a must. And do not forget to drink water in the morning, the moment you wake up. In fact this is one of the most rapid weight loss tips that the dieticians suggest to the people. Have organic foods for the breakfast like apples, bananas, plain yogurt, tomatoes, carrots, peppers, raw honey, wild smoked salmon, and so on. Keeping a track on the watch, go for an hour walk. It need not be power walking, but definitely it should be non-stop walk and thats for sure, in a couple of days only, youll start finding the difference in you. Another tip regarding how to lose weight fast, easy and safe is that you should have your dinner about 4-5 hours before going off to sleep. The two-point program that will ensure the ultimate success is: regular exercise and balanced diet. Dont depend upon fat burning diet supplements. They wont go a long way in helping you sustain your reduced kilos. Soft drinks cannot benefit you in any way. They contain 150 empty calories, so if you substitute one bottle of soft drink with water each day, it will do wonders for you. It will enable you to lose about 16 lbs per year. Sometimes boredom becomes a cause of overeating, so keep yourself busy. If you want to seriously control your weight, then you have to stop yourself from getting lured into trying tempting foods. As important is to pay attention to the fact that we eat the right food, equally vital is to keep a watch on the quantity. Without altering your diet plan, even if youll reduce 5-10% of your consumption, it will prove beneficial. Eat slowly so that you can get a feeling that you have had enough food and your tummy is full. Eat slowly and fully relish the taste.

Your not fat, but you should still exercise a little everyday to get in a even better shape, eat more fruits.

You already know that to lose weight, you need to burn more calories than you consume. You ve tried dieting, keeping a food diary, creating an exercise regimen, and perhaps even hypnosis. It s now obvious that the problem isn t with the technique, but with your willpower. Old habits die hard. If you re having a hard time maintaining your efforts over time, here are some radical ways to break away from the routine.Hide these adsShow Ads [edit] StepsFocus on the tried and true. Ultimately, losing weight comes down to one key principle: Burn more calories than you consume. The steps that follow won t work if you have a thousand more calories coming into your body on a daily basis than you have going out. Lay the foundation for weight loss with these practices:Count calories and keep a food diary. Go on a diet. Cut down on sugar, high fructose corn syrup, trans fats and saturated fats. Burn more calories by exercising: Run, walk, even exercise at the computer you are sitting in front of now. Raise your metabolism. Big bowl, big servings, big weight gainDownsize your kitchenware. The human mind works in mysterious ways. It turns out that using smaller bowls, plates, and containers can subconsciously influence how much you serve yourself. Even nutrition experts are victims of this phenomenon; when 85 of them were given a random mix of small and large bowls and scoops, those who got larger bowls served themselves 31% more ice cream, and added on another 14.5% if they had bigger scoops![1] Put down the knife. By putting down whatever utensils you re using between every bite, you can significantly slow down your eating time, leaving your stomach a chance to feel full and reducing the likelihood that you ll go for seconds. Another technique that can have a similar effect is to take a sip between each bite. Numerous studies have shown that eating slowly results in eating less.[2] There s even a device you can get from a dentist that you wear to make your oral cavity smaller so that you take smaller bites,[3] and a fork that s so awkward to use that you ll get less food per bite![4] Know the enemy Make a list of the food items that are your weaknesses. These aren t always unhealthy foods, either. Sometimes we fool ourselves into believing that as long as we avoid the bad foods, we re making progress. At least, that s what we like to think as we get up for our third serving of fruit salad, or finish a bag of pretzels in one sitting, saying that they re healthier than chips. Remember that too much of anything is bad. You probably don t need to keep a food diary to know your enemies. Common culprits include soda, bread, alcohol, and fast food. Whatever your weakness is, cut down on it. If you cut it out completely, you re more likely to binge. Buy only small packages of it and have it only once in a while. If cutting down doesn t work, you might need to go cold turkey. Whole grain pastaChoose whole grains over a whole belly. If you switch out all of your refined grain food (white bread, food made with white flour) for whole-grain food (oatmeal, whole-grain cereal, whole-grain pasta, brown rice and barley) you won t lose additional weight overall. However, you will lose more weight in the belly area, which will make you look thinner--at least, that s what a Penn State study implies.[5] Not only will your slimmer profile make you feel better about your progress, but by losing the VAT (visceral adipose tissue) you re also doing away with a risk factor for type 2 diabetes, coronary vascular disease, and some types of cancer.[6] Check those labels and make sure that any grain-based foods you buy are made up of at least fifty-one percent whole grain.[5] Limit your spending. Some people have an easier time controlling their wallet than controlling their diet. Go ahead, cut up those credit cards, and build up your emergency fund, if you haven t already (in its own account, and leave the bank card at home). Limit the amount of cash you have in your wallet, especially if you re subject to spontaneous fast food indulgences. When you go grocery shopping, have a list prepared, and bring just enough money to cover those items (this might take a few dry runs). The embarrassment of not having enough money at the register will keep you from throwing a few extra items in the shopping cart. If you don t do the grocery shopping, then offer to take on this monumental role. Your family or roommates might complain about the absence of junk food, but you ll be doing them a favor by stocking the kitchen with healthy stuff. They ll thank you...later...years later. Set a digital watch to go off every two hours. Eat only when the watch tells you to. Spontaneous eating sessions (those times when you feel those hunger pangs, those cravings, and you scour the cabinets or the streets in search of satisfaction) are your weakest points. This is why all weight loss books tell you to avoid skip

How can i lose weight fast and only in one month? -

I am 13 help me

I know this doesn t sound like very hard work, but walking is a great thing to trim body fat. If you walk for about 30 - 45 minutes on a treadmill or just outside it trims a lot of body fat. Another thing you should focus on is eating healthier, its probably a thing you already know about, but just changing ur diet habits really helps. Just say you drink a lot of pop. If you drink about 15-30 cans a month and u stop drinking pop that is a cut down of almost 9000 calories (300 cal. per can x 30), which is almost 3 pounds..it doesn t sound like a lot but it is an extra 3 pounds. Chicken and Fish are also excellent sources of protein, which help build muscles. You should want to stay away from beef, steak, and hamburger, which is VERY high in fat. Another thing is obviously the exercise, i dieted in the summer for 3 months and lost 25 pounds, about 8 calories a month. Great exercises are the elliptical, treadmill, and especially bike riding, and also, I m 13 too.

Do all your daily things but don t eat any kind of junk whatsoever. No chips, chocolate, cookies, etc. I did that when i was 14 and i lost over 15 pounds in five weeks.

i am 13 too and this has helped me lose 2 pounds each day 1: eat between 1,500 and 1,800 calories a day (no more because it will make you think you already messed up for that day and you might just give in all together) (no less because it will make your body go in starvation mode and save everything you take in)2: do at least one jumping jack for each calorie you take in. (its easier than you think)3: eat your biggest meal at breakfast because thats when your metabolism is higher and you can burn more off than save. and dont eat after 7 pm because after that it is harder to get the calories burned off4: drink diet soda and water. youll get used to the taste and it helps alot. well good luck! and i hope i could help*

go out to the park with your friends and play some sports/ go on the swings. be active. dont eat junk food, soda. pick healthier choices to eat.

work out alot... as running... and get on a good food diet... as in very healthy food with low carbs.

people can advice you a number of ways and a number of diets for burning fat fast. But all these advices are bad.If you want to lose weight, the best way is to do it slowly, losing steadily over long period. fast diet can be harmful and can be counterproductive. In most cases after fast diets people tend to price themselves and they gain weight back at the same pace as the lost weight. So don t do it. Start a more healthy diet, eating everything, but under control (and less), do exercise.Good luck!

eat less exercise more

You don t have to starve yourself or go on diets, those things never work, if you lose weight, you will gain it back. Drink an oz of apple cider vinegar, it works miracles, mix that with extra virgin coconut oil,the weight will literally melt off.

Exercise and lay off the Cheetos.

Simple. Exercise more calories than you eat! Most people want some quick fix to weight that s taken months or years to put on. There isn t one. Short of loosing a limb, which would lighten the scales up considerably, you have to do it the long and disciplined way. This is the rule:For every 100 calories you over eat--daily--adds 5 pounds of weight to you yearly.

Eat properly 3 meals a day, no junk food, soda and do alot of exersise. Dont starve yourself. It depends on how much you want to lose but it will takea while if you have to lose alot. Be patient. You can loose about 5-10 pounds in a month. More than that is dangerous.

Do at least, 20-100 sit-up s per night, just before you take a shower.Do the sit-up s, then shower, because you will be a bit sweaty..lol.This will tighten your lower stomach muscels, give you a tighter 6-pack too.If you do this every night, or every other night, for a month or so, you ll start to see, and feel the differencein no time.,So, good luck. Also, stick with it, don t allow more than three day s go by without doing at least 10 sit-up s.Don t go too fast, just a slow, steady rythem, so you won t tire out so fast. You ll be able to find your own speed that feel s most comfortable for you.Peaple will start noticing your tighter mid-section, too, makeing good comments, so that s always a great thing, too.Wish you much luck.Mark

i m 14 years old.i want to lose about 20 pounds a.s.a.p. X)i don t have a lot of time on my schedule.. with schoolwork band. X(thanks in advance. :]

umm well.just stay active, don t not try in gym. (gym is actually a good source for exercise) don t stop eating..... it actually makes things work.especially at the age you are at, it wont take that long to loose the weight.you can do it! :) good luck!

Cut out all junk food! Drink plenty of water. Walk at a faster pace between classes. Take a 15-20min run every day...that s not too much time to accomplish what you want. Good luck...don t quit.
