Im 55 and 135 pounds. i want to lose weight fast and exercising and eating heathy isnt working what do i do? -

i really want to lose weight and ive been doing everything i know to do and nothing is working. im almost ready to turn to starving myself. please give me some advice.

its simple you aren t loosing weight because your body knows that you have not extra weight to loose

Drop your caloric intake to 1,000-1,200 calories per day. Just because you are eating healthy doesn t mean that you aren t still overeating. If your caloric intake is still too high, you will not lose weight. Decrease your carbohydrate intake and eat complex carbohydrates (brown rice, whole wheat) rather than simple carbohydrates (white rice, white bread). Increase your protein intake (chunk light tuna, beef, eggs).Read every label of everything you buy. Make sure that high fructose corn syrup is not one of the ingredients. It s in everything, so be prepare to spend $3.00 for a loaf of bread without it in it.Good luck.

how long have you been dieting and exercising? A lot of people give up really fast because they dont see quick results. Losing noticeable weight can take up to months to see so dont get discouraged!! Also, it may be a thyroid problem, the thyroid regualtes metabolism. So if you feel its necessary, you may go to the doctor and see whats up. You may also visit a nutritionist if you like. But dont give up the exercise and dieting!! Not just because of your weight, but also for your overall health. Oh and by the way, for your height, you are in the right weight range, but i guess it depends on your body fat %.If its fat you want to burn then do more endurance and weight lifting.running is also great for building lean muscle. but keep it up and good luck!:D

maybe its your body s way of telling you you re at a good weight? just watch your calorie intake

How can i lose weight without exersising? -

i have been wanting to lose weight for awhile now but i just couldnt can some1 tell me how to lose weight WITHOUT EXERSISING! best answer gets 5 extra points

1.find out your resting metabolism (google free metabolism calculator)2.eat less than that. You will lose wait, BUT...1. it will lower your metabolism A LOT, so you will have to keep eating less and less2. TOTALLY not healthy. You need to do some exercising, even if it only involves walking. You sound like a kid/teenager, so if you are, unless you have a BMI of 30 or over, you shouldn t be losing weight at all.

ohkay, exercising is an important routine in your life.so you have no choicem,,your not really gonna lose weight just sittin gon the couch, popping alli.you have to make an effort.eat healthier,it really works,my friend is just eating healthy, for about,a mounth or so,and she lost 20 lbs.and she look great.just watch what you eat,you can have a weakness sometimes, but dont get attached to it.so good luck, and make an effort=)

you can lose wait in alot of other ways besides excersing, but a healthier way is to just simply EAT healthier.Cut your meals in half, drink lots and lots of water.Whenever you get cravings, try those yogurts =) theyre great, and extremely good for you.I m 16,and since i have a really busy schedule with work and school i just started eating healthier and i lost 3 pounds these past 2 weeks. Its defiantly a slower process then if you were excercising, but its easier!good luck!

If you decide not to exercising, you should pay attention to your diet [[what you eat, how much you eat per day, etc]]. Just focus on your diet because it helps alot to lost weight even though you wouldnt need to exercise. :33Btw, if your the type to like reading, it ll help you burn 100 calories per hour. :]

It s just ridiculous to want to loose weight without proper exercise.

Liposuction..... In other words: you can t.

eat less sugar and carbs in your diet but you ll lose a few pounds. To lose more you have to start exercising

eat better, more nutritious meals.

Eat light. Try looking into some japanese/ japanese targeted diets. Well, it s not really a diet, it s just how they eat daily. Really! I picked up this book from the library called Japanese Women Don t Get Old or Fat by Naomi Moriyama, and it showed how they stay thin with little exercise. (Although, Japanese people are indeed very active) So, to make it short, eat light, and walk around the block once a day. If you live on a big block, walk half way. lol. For Breakfast, eat things like a light soup, Such as Miso, with rice and green tea.For Lunch, a small amount of meat, such as fish or chicken. No beef. With rice, and green tea if you want. Soup can be added in there. For Dinner, a small amount of meat, a bowl of rice, soup, salad {FRESH!!!}, and green tea. Dessert : A small plate of an assortment of fruit. The key here is to keep portions SMALL and LIGHT. Portions in Japan are 1/3 smaller than what they are in the US. And if you get hungry in between meals, half a big gulp of water, brush your teeth, or have a little bit of fruit. And walks are usually taken in the morning when you first wake up, or in the afternoon after work. Except, in Japan its taken more to the extreme. They walk everywhere they can. Out of the reach of walking, they ride bikes. ***If you can t take the big change to Japanese food, then try to replace each choice with a different choice from that food group. But going by this would be the best results. And there s different ways to prepare it. If you make the rice, instead of the quick 5minute rice, it takes about an hour. And the food ALWAYS has to be fresh. The majority of Japanese women wont settle for anything less to be put into their kitchens. And none of these things are really hard to make. Im 14, and I could understand it lol. They just have a lot of different ingredients. The rice is simple even though it takes so long*** Hope This Helps! Good Luck!!~iLoveGaara?

Im a 21 year old girl, 52quot; tall and weigh 130lbs.Am i that fat and how to lose weight fast and effectively? -

yes youre overweight. you should probably put down the hamburger or if you do eat a hamburger strap some weights onto your arm so that it becomes a exercise as you eat it.*****EDIT***** SERIOUSLY YOU PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS. HOW CAN YOU SAY SOMEONE WHO IS 5 2 AND 130 POUNDS IS NOT OVER WEIGHT? LMAOYOU ALL ARE A BUNCH OF OVERWEIGHT SLOBS WHO ARE IN DENIAL.QUIT LYING TO YOURSELVES.

No you aren t fat. Weight loss isn t going to be that quick, but getting started on a diet and exercise program is effective and will help you keep the weight off.2 months ago I started a diet/exercise program. I counted calories for a while until I got good at making better food choices (www.myfitnesspal.com has great tools for this), and started going to the gym at least 3 times a week and doing cardio and weights. I ve lost 15 pounds, and even now that I m in the middle of exams and haven t been to the gym in a week and have been eating pretty badly, I haven t regained the weight as quickly as I would have in the past. My metabolism and muscle mass have increased enough to slow down any weight gain.If you don t think you can keep up with counting calories, try this - just try to double the amount of vegetables you get in your diet, and cut back as much as possible on sweets. That s a very good start. I also made myself a rule that when I wanted a snack, I wouldn t tell myself No! No chocolate allowed! (too demoralizing), I just told myself that I had to eat a healthy snack first, and *then* I could have my chocolate/whatever. Half the time I ended up not really wanting the sweet snack after, and the other half I ate less of the sweets than I would have otherwise.Good luck!

According to this, http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/, you have a normal BMI. That means that you shouldn t worry too much. If you still feel flabby, you could think about strength-training or some cardio to tone up and convert some fat to muscle. But other than that, you re fine!

no your not over weight at all!!

yes. check out my videos. it will inspire you. please convey your thankshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dT8FtBY6Hhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBD0ULqd3

Of course your not fat. Stick to a strict diet. Why not try a detox diet. Exercise for an extra half hour than you already do and eat 6 small meals rather than 3 large ones. DONT SNACK ON MUNCHIES!!!!!!!It will take a while to see a difference but a gradual weight loss is much healthier than a rapid one.

it will depend on your body built . determine first if you are small, medium or large built then you will then determine your ideal weight range.

You have to come up with some type of a reward system, this will help keep you motivated. One of the best things to do is make a contingency contract. Stating what you want to do, who will help you do it, and what do you get for doing it. Then also try to find a well balance diet program. My friend did this one diet program where the average weight lose is 7 pounds in 9 days. It might be the thing you are looking for, I know it s well balanced. If you want e-mail me and I can tell you more about either of these.
