exercise and eat good food?

1. exercise a minimum of 30 minutes per day2. increase consumption of veggies and fruits.3. lower intake of carbs (switch from white to whole wheat bread) and fats. eat more often with smaller meals as opposed to three large meals a day 4. avoid refined sugars and sodas5. make sure your on a good sleep pattern

If it don t fit on a saucer don t eat it.

Keep your eye on the goal (losing weight, duh), avoid eating processed foods, don t use food as an emotional crutch, exercise, change your lifestyle for the better.

First of all weight training does not turn fat into muscle .Anyway...1. Increase your physcial activity. Try using an activity log for one week. Record into this log everything you do (activity/time). You can then convert your activity into calories and compute your average daily calories burned. Then increase your physical activity to increase your calories burned. One of the best methods is good old fashioned exercise. Aerobic exercises (walking, jazzercize, etc) burn more calories while you do them, while anaerobic (weightlifting) activites create more muscle, which in turn raises you resting metabolism (muscle burns more calories than fat). Alternate every other day between aerobic and anaerobic.2. Reduce your caloric intake. Same concept as above, create a food log and record everything you eat for one week. Then convert those foods into calories consumed, and compute your daily average caloric intake. Than you want to reduce the number of calories ingested. This can be accomplished by eating lower calorie foods or reducing your actual food intake.3. Drink lots of water. Drink a minimum of 1 gallon of water every day, more on days you exercise! Drink one tall glass of water before you eat any meal.4. Eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies. Not the dried or canned stuff. Steaming the veggies is fine, too. Make sure to eat a large salad as you appetizer, but go easy on the dressing. This will help fill you up with healthful foods, before you start on the main dish! Fresh fruits and beggies also make great snacks throughout the day (you should have at least one mid-morning and one mid-afternoon snack every day!).5. Avoid simple sugars and oils and fats. you should focus more on protein, complex carbohydrates, and fiber.

swimming, gym, weight watchers, healthy food, less takaway s.Do swimming or gym about once a week and you should start to loose weight.

stop going to fast food!!

Walk daily and hav elight exercise

Weight training is the most effective because it turns fat into muscle, you will lose not neccessarily weight but alot of fat, actual weight is irrelevent since a strong person can weigh as much or more than a person will alot of fat, I may be wrong on that since I m no expert but I hope you see the point, eat less fatty and high sugar foods and eat more energy foods and high in protein, definitely eat certain foods to boost your metabolism as well, eatting spicy foods helps as well as drinking alot of water

stay heakthy by eating right, exercise daily, think positve,a diet, cardio classes

run do sports drink water[h20] and eat whole wheat and other health things chesse etc

How to lose weight healthy and steady? -

i am a girl, 23 years old, 5.6 tall and 236 lbs.my Basal Metabolic Rate is 1876.3 i know that i have to cut down 500 calories per day in order to lose weight but 1376 calories per day would be unhealthy, isnt it? any tips?

Here are a few tips:1. You MUST exercise if you want to lose weight and keep it off, so do something every day, even if its just a 15-minute walk around the neighborhood. Dont say you dont have time for exercise; you have to MAKE time. Yes, it takes time and effort, but youre worth it, right?2. Walk as much as you want, but dont do cardio for more than 40 minutes at a time. If you do, you risk burning muscle instead of fat.3. If you do strength training, use light weights and do lots of repetitions. Thatll really help you tone up.4. Your diet will make you or break you. You have probably learned bad eating habits over time (most people do). Thats not your fault, but now you have to deal with it. Make a commitment to yourself to unlearn those bad habits and re-learn better habits.5. Eat breakfast every day within an hour of getting up. People who dont are 450% more likely to be overweight.6. Eat six small meals or snacks per day instead of three squares per day or one big meal per day. Your body expends energy digesting your food, so eating smaller portions more often keeps your metabolism running high because youre constantly digesting food.7. Avoid these as much as possible:-- Trans fat (any type of partially or fully hydrogenated oil)-- High fructose corn syrup (soft drinks are LOADED with it)-- Fast food-- Junk food-- White sugar, white flour, white rice, white potatoes-- The deadly Cs (cookies, cakes, candy, chips, cola)8. Build your diet around these trim-body-friendly foods:-- Nuts, any kind (almonds are best)-- Beans/Legumes-- Fresh vegetables (green is GREAT!!!)-- Dairy products (as long as theyre low-fat or non-fat)-- Eggs-- Lean meats (fish and poultry top the list)-- Olive oil-- Whole grain breads/cereals/pasta-- Fresh fruits (anything that ends in berry is a winner)-- Tea (green tea or black pekoe tea)-- Cold water or ice water (your body has to expend extra calories to heat it up)9. Desserts and treats are the exception, not the rule. Having said that, however, (1) you can have a couple of pieces of chocolate every day C just dont overdo, and (2) Allow yourself one cheat meal every week where you eat and drink whatever you want as long as you dont gorge yourself. Thatll help keep you from feeling deprived and itll make it easier to stick with your new healthy eating plan.Good luck!

I ve recently lost 61lbs since April 9 dong the following:Do not eat over 2000 calories. Make your calories count. 2000 is a lot believe it or not. I kept my food intake as fat free as possible. And here is the kicker for true success...get a diet journal and write what you eat down. You ll be amazed of how easy it is. Staple foods with this plan is a lot of chicken breast. Vegetables in the frozen section have a lot to offer that are very low calorie. Snack items...sugar free jello gelatin, sugar free jello pudding. Fresh fruit. 100 calorie snack packs make it easy to keep track.I lost 21lbs my first month by doing the above and I did not exercise at all. Your weight loss does slow down after this initial period so incorporating some sort of physical activity is essential if you really want to kick it up a notch.

How to lose weight in the areas I want to? -

Im overweight and I carry most of my excess fat in my stumach area.I am also looking to tone my upper arms and thighs. What kind of food/drinks/exercises would you recommend?

Hi,I suggest that you have a Heavy breakfast with Brown bread, Cereals, Oats, Skimmed Milk and 100% fruit and vegetable juicesHave a moderate Lunch - Fish, lean meat, Bread and vegetable salads.Very light dinner with just salads and fruitsWell exercising is as important as eating right. you start your day with a strenuous exercise like jogging/kick boxing/ brisk walking/swimming etc. Do sit ups, lunges, squatting and yoga for spot reduction. may be in the night after dinner take a stroll and make sure you have a gap of 2 hrs between your dinner and bed time.I found an interesting website, which helps you plan and track your diet and activity. http://www.lifemojo.com/

you should eat at least 4-5 meals a day.drink lots of water, and eat regularly. don t starve yourself, because once you start eating again, you ll gain everything back, trust me.eat lots of fruits and veggies, and if you eat bread, make sure it s whole grain. white bread is pretty fattening. you can also eat lean meats, like fish, turkey and chicken breast. eggs also help when trying to lose weight.skip out on sweets, candy, sugary foods, chips, ice cream, cake, and cookies.if you feel hungry, but don t want to over eat, chew gum. it ll keep your mouth busy and it tricks yourself into thinking your eating.cut out ALL soda! if you stop drinking soda, it helps you out a lot!and don t forget to exercise!try walking, jogging, jump rope, dancing, crunches, bike riding and swimming. try exercising for 45-80 minutes a day.good luck!

Thereafter, gradually increase this (ideally) to about 60 minutes of exercise per day. The best combination of exercise is a mixture of aerobic and weight/strength training (and stretching). Start small.Rather than trying to do everything at once, focus on one healthy change at a time. When the change feels easier, move on to something else. I lost 15 pounds this way. My first change was switching to diet soda, if I remember correctly. As for exercise, its important to find one you enjoy. Do some experimenting and find an exercise you actually will look forward to doing. This may take time, but it is SO worth it!You don t have to do everything at once, because it can be overwhelming. Just make little changes, they can really add up!! For great tips on healthy weight loss, I love this website:www.webmd.com

First of all, many people gain weight because of blockage. So, the first thing you should try to do is to unblock your lymphatic system. Massage, drink water, detox, relax. This will release excess water in your water and also help to release bloating. A few weeks after that, your fats will soften and if you can pinch any part of your body and it doesn t hurt. THAT S FAT. Use exercise to burn fats off.

Start by cutting out cheese, sweets, chips, bread, beer (any alcohol!). Eat several small meals (five or so) instead of 3 large ones. Eat lots of fruit and raw veggies. 30 to 45 minutes light aerobics in the morning to get your metabolism up for the day. This is a good start because most people who jump in with both feet see too much sacrifice and not enough results and they quit, usually putting on even more weight as they binge. Also, have a cheat day once a week, but don t go so crazy that you undo everything you ve done.

How to lose weight from my sides considerably faster or at the same rate than from my belly? -

Dont post acai berry ads i will buy acai berry and if its not a serious answer I will report.

Watch your portion sizes. Opening a bag of rice cakes and eating all of them in one sitting isn t going to help you lose weight. When eating chips, nuts, or dried fruit put a portion in a small bowl and then put the bag away. That way you won t mindlessly eat a larger portion than you had intended. Even if you only make minimal changes to your diet choices, reducing portion size will inevitably reduce caloric intake. A great way to watch portion sizes while snacking is to buy one serving 100 calorie packages - and they come in many favorite snack food items!

Plan your meals. Look for healthy, delicious meals online or in your cookbooks, and create a menu for the week. Make sure that your meal plan reduces your total calorie intake: you re not going to lose weight if you consume the same amount of calories by eating different foods. Make a list of what you ll need for these meals, and -- except for a few snacks, of course -- don t stray from your list when you get to the market. Planning your meals helps ensure you get a balanced diet and reduces the temptation to stop off for fast food or order a pizza. Remember, it s easier to stick to your shopping list if you shop when you aren t hungry.

Anyone looking for a weight loss pill should really consider the Acai Berry. Many people claim to have lost 40-50 pounds in a couple months while using Acai. 60 Minutes and Oprah have even featured it on their shows. Dr. Oz said it is a Super Food and is full of vitamins and anti-oxidents.

How to lose weight after childbirth 7 days ago...? -

I had my 2nd child 7 days ago and having a hard time losing the weight. after giving birth i only lost 10 lbs!! lost 10 more lbs since have been home. i need to lose at least 25 more lbs to be at my maximum weight (in military). 50 more lbs to be at my pre pregnancy weight. any advice on losing 25 lbs in 3 months??

Go easy on yourself! After my first child I lost all the weight within a couple of weeks, after my second it took longer - and more effort! Your body has been through a lot and you are taking care of a new baby, plus another one. I was told not to do anything drastic as far as exercise or diet for at least 6 weeks after the birth. Are you breastfeeding? If you are that will really help. If not you need to watch your calorie intake - if you re tired (of course you re tired!) your body craves calories for extra energy. Take the baby for a walk every day if you can, if your other child is young you might need a double stroller. If you can t do that then walking around the backyard, dancing with the kids to the Wiggles, doing exercise DVDs etc should help.If you hadn t just had a child you could go a little more hardcore but you need to be gentle with your body and give it time to recover.

I ve been eating weight watcher frozen meals and just and just eating Semi-healthy for 2 months and I ve lost 21 pounds so far.

Wow your pushing yourself way to much, You ve just had a child seven days ago your body needs time to get back in order. Your going to mess up your body if you keep pushing yourself so much. relax, Give yourself a break. Your body will lose the weight on it s own and losing 10 pounds in a week is NOT good for your body even a doctor will tell you that! How old are you and how tall are you?

Fruit absolutely fills you to the brim, and it really doesn t have too many calories. You COULD try only eating fruits and veggies and nuts, because really, that s all you need. I m no vegetatrian, but I did that once, (didn t have any meat or dairy for about a month), and lost a ton. Of course, I started eating meat again (couldn t resist!) and gained some back. But keep your metabolism running well, starving only slows that down. So by staying full on fruit and veggies and nuts, you lll eat less because you re full, you ll be healthy, and it ll keep your digestion running smoothly.Good luck!

Hey as for the calorie counting, it is definitely an important part of losing weight. As you stated you need to burn more calories than you intake, therefor you must know the number you ate to burn more. And working out is essential to losing weight, a good workout of about 45 mins a day will work wonders. On the food you eat, doctors say the best way to drop weight is to have 5-6 meals a day. Good foods that work that can fill you is special K cereal. its a healthy alternative for a meal. Hoep any of thius helps. Good Luck!

At 14 you are still growing...without seeing you, I don t know if you are or are not overweight but with that said...Just eat healthy and exercise more than you do now...not 24/7, just a little more.Healthy foods - whole grain bread, tortillas, buns, pasta, rice.fruits, and veggies (watch what you put on them or dunk them in), low fat or no fat dairy - yogurt, milk, cheese. Limit choices you know are not good for you, soda, chips, cookies, etc. You can still go to the movies andf get popcorn, get a small or skip the butter, same with the soda and or candy - but do you need all 3 all the time, probably not.Choose healthier places to eat fast food...Subway is a great one, just watch the dressings and oils/mayo.If you want to look some things up try calorieking.com or MyPyramid.govYou are still growing so if you maintain your weight as you add inches you will slim down.
