How can I lose weight quickly? -

I m 18 years old, 5 3 , and I weigh about 152 lbs. I want to drop down to 130, then lose more later if I feel the need to.I want to lose like 20-30 lbs. before January. How can I go about doing that? I don t care if it s unhealthy, as long as the fat goes away.

Replace all drinks with water. No white bread at all.Lots of fiber.I buy the fiber powder and put in the water twice a day. Lots of fish and meat. They are high in protein.Fish has essential fats that you need for your skin. Also get Alli it s available at walmarthttp://www.myalli.com/

well, i ve had that same problem and there is not a very quick way. DOn t be not eating, just don t eat as much junkfood and if u don t excersise, then do so. Sit ups are a good way to lose weight from your stomache. If you need to lose weight in a lot of places, then buy a big excersie ball. they are available at walmart.

Do eat regularly Re-fuelling when you are hungry is a good idea, but make sure that you snack on the right things. Good snacks are fruit, vegetable sticks and low-fat dips, scones (watch the butter), sandwiches, toast, smoothies and low fat/diet yoghurt.Do go shopping with a listThere is nothing worse than standing in the chocolate aisle with a growling stomach, it makes it all the more tempting to grab foods that are high in fat and sugar.Do get supportThis is really important if you are to succeed at losing weight in the long-term. Being surrounded by people who will eat the same foods and encourage you along the way is a good idea. Find a buddy or someone in your family to boost your morale, this can really help if you are taking up a new exercise regime, it makes backing out much harder to do.Do watch your portion sizesNext time you are out look at the amounts that your friends eat, you may be surprised at how much you consume in comparison to others. As mentioned before it is important to eat more fruit, vegetables and starchy foods and less protein, dairy products and fatty and sugary foods.Do set yourself achievable goalsThis is important as you have something to aim for and if you make it achievable then you feel good when you reach the goal, rewarding yourself perhaps with a new pair of shoes or a night out at the cinema.Do tackle problems instead of relying on food as a comfortA large number of us use food as a way of relieving stress and as a way to unwind when we are not even hungry.Do remember there are no good or bad foods, only good or bad dietsThis means that you can have treats, it is really important to be able to have what we call flexible restraint and pick and choose when you have foods such as chocolate and crisps.Do monitor your food intake and physical activityUsing a diary to record what you eat how much you exercise is an excellent start. This helps you to understand your danger periods , such as in the evenings when you relax in front of the TV. Once you have found out when you are most likely to waver it is easier to find ways to help yourself e.g. going for a walk instead of watching TV or having a bath, reading a book etc.Don t rely on just changing your food intake to lose weightResearch has proven that a combination of both exercise and altered eating habits is the best way to lose and maintain weight loss.Don t think a fad diet will be the answer to your weight issueMany fad diets promise great weight loss but are unbalanced, and as they only make you crave the foods they advise against it s a sure-fire way to end up hitting the biscuit barrel. Life is for living and you should try to have a sensible and realistic approach to weight loss.Don t be conned by marketingLow fat does not necessarily mean low calorie: many manufacturers lower the amount of fat in dessert foods and increase the amount of sugar to compensate.also make sure u excersice atleast go for a walk for 3omins everyday u can increase it later, make sure u drink lots of water, when u are hungry u can drink water b4 eating this will make u eat less cos ur stomach must have been fulled cos of the water,i used to be size 14 ive gone down to 12 and im working on getting to 10,make sure u eat lots of vegetable,.....i want u to slim down and also looking sexy and nice,so pleas dont starve urself cos u will look sick.......remeber as u eat vegetables and drink lots of water it makes ur skin glow

How do i start eating properly after months of not? -

i am slowly developing an eating disorder i think, i lost my appetite at the start of last nov, got ill and could not eat or drink, i have had 3 kids so had a mummy tummy as i say and when i became well an noticed that i had lost it in the space of 3 weeks it kind of made me feel happy, now my husband and i have been having major problems and i am barely eating, i losing weight quickly and now struggle to sleep at nights as i always anxious, i shattered in the day, got no motivation and can barely eat anything, i smoking more to take the hunger pains away which i noticed recently i have not had. and i think in the space of 4 months i have ate bout all of 5 full meals, i want to start eating properly but everytime i start a meal by 4 mouthfuls i am full up, lack in confidence as it is, have no social life apart from the occasional clubbin session which now drin hits me really quickly, and i always freezing, i m sure my husband is worried about me but feel his trying to use m being ill to get me back, and i so confused i dont know what to do??????

JUST DO IT OR I KILL U!!!!!

other information that you must give us: is your husband abusive toward you? is that why your relationship is failing with him? if so, then you need to gather up your three kids and leave him and go for a battered woman s shelter. this takes guts, planning and the right timing. and when you go, you just have to go and not look back. pack up your bags and the kids bags, get in the car and go. know when he ll be out and how long and be sure of it. don t leave anything behind that will allow him to contact you, and don t go back for anything. if he is not abusive, then your eating disorder and smoking disorder sound like a symptom of a poor/failing relationship as you say and not a cause. if you and he want to save the relationship (and get rid of your symptoms) then the two of you need to see a family counselor. he would have to be agreeable to this. if not, then it sounds like you might be headed for divorce and even with family counseling there is no guarantee that the marriage won t end in divorce, at which point your condition may get worse before it gets better. for this reason, you need to see a counselor about your weight first, and a family counselor second. but, i think that you need to see both for your sake and maybe your marriage s sake.

You really need to go to a doctor and a counselor

the best thing to do to is to slowly become adjusted to eating more. this means adding about two hundred calories per day (so on the first day, 200 more than usual, the second, 400, the third, 600 more than you would usually be accustomed to). it s very difficult at first, but try to keep in mind that when a person eats very little, his or her stomach actually shrinks so you feel full even when you need more food.try drinking things with calories like Ensures or Boosts, or eating thick soups (some people feel more comfortable drinking things with calories rather than eating them). or, you could try to eat things that are very dense like cashews, peanut butter, protein and energy bars, bagels, etc.eat in small quantities constantly throughout the day. it will probably be easier to eat six small snacks rather than three large meals.also, try to get yourself a good nutritionist, preferably one who specializes in eating disorders who can help you to regain a pattern of normal, healthy eating.good luck! hope i helped

all right, first of all, quit smoking or an eating disorder will be the least of your problems. secondly, start by eating little meals, but do eat meals, dont just snack!!!and please, GO TO THE DOCTOR.

just eat 3 healthy meals a day

I went through a phase were I didnt eat alot for weeks.I just accepted that its something you have to do like.I started to eat more every meal time. Also ate alot of special K.Thats good.Anyways.Good Luck :) 3 x

Any weight loss programs that work or should i feel comfy being chubby? -

Calories are like money in a bank. Burn more than you eat, and you will lose weight. One pound equals 3500 calories. Do not eat fewer than about 1200-1400 calories a day, because fewer than that is dangerous for your health. Do daily exercise that you enjoy that gets your heart rate up over 100 beats per minute for at least a half hour. Get yourself in GOOD HEALTH, then don t worry about what you look like if you are healthy!

I lost about 20 lbs in 4 weeks on the South Beach diet along with working out 20 minutes a day (jogging)

Pilates is great. I just started a couple weeks ago and I feel great. Get a mat and a DVD and you will be on your way. You really feel the burn with pilates! Good luck!
