Im about 30 pounds over weight. I really want to lose weight any suggestions. Or any weight loss programs, -

I try to get exercise every day -- my preferred method is to walk a couple of miles. Sometimes I walk to the store, sometimes it s to dinner and sometimes it s to a nearby park for a concert. However, some exercise is part of any successful weight-loss program. The other thing I did was to quit eating a full lunch and switched to some carrots and an apple. It s tough and it requires willpower, but it worked for me. I lost 15 pounds in three months and have kept it off for two years. I eat a normal breakfast and dinner, including whatever deserts would normally have. Just by cutting out a big lunch, I lost weight.

Healthy weight loss tips * Take one pound at a time Dont get overwhelmed by how much weight you need to lose. Try to remember that losing 15 pounds in two weeks is nothing to celebrate. It is important to realize that the more quickly weight is lost, the more likely the loss is coming from water and muscle, not fat. Since muscle tissue is critical in keeping our metabolism elevated, losing it actually leads to a decrease in the amount of calories we can each day without gaining weight. Fat loss is best achieved when weight is lost slowly. Strive for a weight loss of no more than 3-4 pounds per week. One pound of weight is equivalent to 3500 calories. * Set Reachable Goals For instance, if you know you need to get more exercise, begin with a manageable goal of, say, walking 10 minutes a day that you know you can achieve. Then build your self-esteem by achieving the small goals you set yourself. The same logic applies for losing weight. * Stay off the scales Dont get discouraged when your progress seems to be slow according to your bathroom scales. They do not provide a true measure of what is going on with the body. If exercise levels are adequate (5-7 days a week), you may be putting on muscle but losing fat, thus losing inches even if you are not losing pounds. It s always a good idea to do several body measurements to have a second objective way to monitor progress. * Stay focused on being healthy, not thin # Many people become more successful at long term weight loss when their motive changes from wanting to be thinner to wanting to be healthier. Change your mindset to think about selecting foods that will help your body s health rather than worrying about foods that will affect your body s weight. The Food Pyramid offers a basic outline of the types and amounts of food you should eat each day to give your body the nutrients it needs for optimal health. * Fat Free? We ve known for some time that limiting high fat foods in the diet can be helpful with weight loss. That s because fats pack in 9 calories per gram compared to only 4 calories per gram from proteins or carbohydrates. To many, the message to limit fats implied an endorsement to eat unlimited amounts of fat-free products. Just to clarify, fat-free foods have calories too. In some cases fat-free foods have as many calories as their fat laden counterparts. If you eat more calories than your body uses, you will gain weight. Eating less fat will help you to lose weight. Eating less fat and replacing it with excessive amounts of fat-free products will not. * Drink plenty of water Drink eight glasses a day. Water is a natural appetite-suppressant. Nettle tea is a great weight-loss tea as it supports metabolism and has diuretic properties. * Reward yourself # Each time you reach a goal, such as losing 5 pounds, reward yourself with a gift or a massage. * Seek help if you need it # A big key in long term weight control comes from receiving encouragement and support from others. Find a friend to lose weight with or you can check to see if groups such as Weight Watchers, or eDiets offer programs and resources in your area by clicking the links. You may also wish to check with your local hospital to see if their registered dietician conducts group weight loss programs. * Watch your portions With the advent of supersize meals and increasingly huge portions at restaurants, our concept of normal serving sizes is a distant memory. Be mindful of the amounts of food you consume at a sitting. When necessary, divide your food in half and ask for a take home bag. It is all too easy to be a plate cleaner even when served enormous portions. Learn to pay attention to your hunger level and stop eating when you feel comfortably full, not stuffed. * Eat your food slowly Did you ever notice that thin people take an awfully long time to eat their food? Eating slowly is one method that can help take off pounds. That s because from the time you begin eating it takes the brain 20 minutes to start signaling feelings of fullness. Fast eaters often eat beyond their true level of fullness before the 20 minute signal has had a chance to set in. The amount of calories consumed before you begin to feel full can vary significantly depending on how quickly you eat. So slow down, take smaller bites and enjoy your food.

roughly you need to eat in a way that you get all the nutrients and boost your metabolism. If you get all the nutrients, you will be less tempted to eat junk food. Lots of fibre helps kill appetite, example wheat bran cereal and other fibre foods(you don t need hoodia). I used to snack a lot, was 45 pounds overweight, now only 15 pounds overweight and coming down fast in just over 1.5 months. Once I exercised atleast 30 minutes 5 days a week(like going to work, you need to exercise) and stayed off junk foods like fruit juices(yes, fruit juices, believe it or not !) and ate more fruits, my body craved less food. A good rule of thumb is if you are eating three meals a day, and you still feel hungry, replace the portions you want to cut down on calories with handfuls of fruit instead instead of just cutting portions, they are much less calories than anything else I know, and supply the minerals you need to balance out your daily nutrient requirements ! Take a multivitamin every day.Reduce your calorie intake to your target weight(pounds) times 10.9 but never cut off necessary nutrients like minimum daily fat, etc. as it leads to deficiency and increases appetite. Eat balanced in moderation and exercise 30 minutes a day atleast 5 out of 7 days, that will do the trick!

Eat baby food! Small portions and nutritious! Don t eat it for too long though... seriously... it works.

walk an hour a day (ease into it); reduce calories, don t cut out fat (it gives 4x as much energy, gram for gram, as sugar and is slow-metabolizing) split your intake into more smaller meals, eat food that requires much chewing - stay away from mashed/pureed foods, puddings icecreams etc. and soft white bread.

replace juices and sodas with water. it s a simple fix that really shows results. also, try not to eat more than 2 servings of foods that have 150 Cal per serving at one time. stay away from most junk foods(especially the ones that taste good) AND hot pockets. they can kill a diet.

Hello, the first thing you should do is boost your metabolism. You eat 5 SMALL meals a day and then drink only water, water helps dissolve fat cells. Good luck and your weight does not determine how beautiful you are.

don t let anyone deceive u.it is natural to be big.u are beautiful like that.trust me.

Here is something I tried. I did not eat any bread, milk, potatoes, rice, cereal, etc. for 10 days and I lost 14 lbs. I ate as much of anything else that I wanted, and still lost weight. You can t eat things with wheat or starches, and NO DAIRY. Eat a pound of bacon for supper if you want...YOU WILL STILL LOSE as long as you stay away from the ones I have listed. Try it, what have you got to lose?!

I don t think dieting helps anywear near as much as excercise based on my personal experience, but to truly be successful you have to do both and do something you can stick with in the long run. Quick fixes don t work. Find a diet and an excercise program you can do FOREVER, not just for 3 months or 3 years, FOREVER. Then be patient and wait for the results. You have to push yourself. Good things don t come that easy.

stop eating fast foods, fried food and processed foods. start exercising more. you ll lose weight.

Does the Think amp; Lose weight loss program really work? -

The Think Lose program says: listen to a tape once and your subconscious mind will no longer crave sugary, unhealthy foods, but will crave healthy foods instead, and you ll feel full and satisfied halfway through a meal you would normally finish. This allows you to lose pounds of excess weight and keep it off for good. I was wondering if this was really a scam or if this really does help you using hypnosis. I would prefer answers from those who ve tried the product, but all help is welcome.

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Wight loss motivation what program is good? -

what weight loss program is good i mean really good that doesnt exactly leave me broke every WEEK. BUT I NEED alot of motivation so no online stuff

I think Weight Watchers is the best. But, you really have to go to the meetings because that is what will really motivate you to lose the weight. I pay 13 per week. But, when you reach your weight loss goal, you become a lifetime member and it becomes free. You still have to weight in once a month though. If you gain the weight back, you lose your lifetime membership and you have to start paying again. What better motivation to keep the weight off?

I would say weight watchers. I m not sure how much it costs, but i think you would push yourself to lose weight to lose as much as you can in the first 3-month period, and then follow through with it and do the rest on your own.Lauren 3Plus you wouldn t want to go to the meeting and find out that you gained weight!
