Is it true that a person initially gains weight at the beginning of weight loss programs? -

Because of increase in muscle? When can I expect the weight loss to start happening?

yeah that s trueit ll happen for 2 weeksmaybe a little morebut eventually the muscle will start burning fatdon t worry

I dont know if its a FACT but I know it happens. I had a friend that did gain about 3-4 lbs on the Core4 system but now she is down 11 from her starting point so from her highest point she has lost 15 lbs and this is in about 2 months.I personally think that the Core4 System found at http://www.EatCheat.com has the best system for many reasons. They have 4 products that work together to target those extra pounds for 4 different ways to give you maximum results.Best of all they offer a 90 day money back guarantee on their products so you have nothing to lose other than those extra pounds :)I have personally lost 18.7 lbs in 2 months and my wife has lost 14 in 9 weeks and the best part is we have not had to change our diet at all. that s the cool part about their system. you pretty much get to eat the sames foods you have been eating for your whole life and you still lose weight.

Yeah because it those not automatically start with that. But on fast metabolism method you can easily feel or detect that you are losing weight.

Yeah, In the Beginning stage it will happens. But, After 3,4 weeks your body will set for the weight loss program and you will feel normal.

How to lose weight quickly? -

I m 14,6feet tall and weigh over 200 pounds but i have done lots of weight lifting and can run better than some skinny people i m also really bulky and tend to eat alot because of my families diet but i just want to get more toned i have a stomach and moobs lol i also bench over 150 so yeah

Keep up with weight training and running, but cut back some on your eating habits by 1/4 (that means eat 1/4 less than you normally do, not eat 1/4 of what you re normally eating). You can blame your family all you want, but that doesn t mean you have to eat all the junk they throw in front of you. At 14 and caring about your physique, you should be cooking your own meals anyway.

Rapid weight-loss will cause your skin to sag. If your family s diet is bad and causing you to be bulky you need to have a family conferfence and discuss better eating habits. Does your family make you eat lots of food or are you allowed to stop eating when you feel full?If you are 14 years old and 6 tall your healthy weight should be between 150 - 175. To do lots of weight-lifting with heavy weights is not a healthy activity for anybody under 16 years of age. How heavy you lift is not as important as how accurately you do the exercises.

while typing on your computer run your legs in place constantly. This will burn ooddles of calories

Does the Nutrisystem Weight Loss Diet Program really work? -

I plan on getting on the weight loss program in November (after having a baby). I would like to know if it really works???!!!! Just checked out their website and started looking around. I cant find a price without letting them know my personal information. Does anyone know about how much it cost? Did it work for you? My plan is to drop about 50-60 pounds. The reason I am considering Nutrisystem is because the food is already made. With having a new baby I will be pressed for time. Please only respond if you have tried it or know someone that has. Thanks everyone!

Hi,I just ordered Nutrisystem on Saturday 8/25/07 and I recieved my box of food yesterday 8/29/07. I have been on it for 2 full days! The first day I hated the first 2 things I ate and I was pretty pissed off and thought I would deffinatly quit. But today, however, everything I ate was actually really good!! I oredered the variety pack and my next month I ll get to choose which meals I like. You get ALOT of food and you eat like 6 times a day. They give you one week free...so it s 5 whole weeks of food. I paid exactly $293.90. It just was charged onto my credit card today. The people on the site are really cool and there are chat boards and free online classes. There is a lot to do on the site and it s quite fun making friends that are doing the same thing you are. I work ALOT, so I think that this is the best diet plan for me. I have gained 45 pounds since having my daughter 9 months ago (in November also). So far i feel like i have more energy and I m happy with it. Don t just take my advice though....I ve only been on it for 2 days. Best of Luck!!! : )

hi someone is asking the same question as u and i thought u might be intrested it is athttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070916150751AAIHMX5 Report Abuse

I am currently on Nutrisystem and I absolutely LOVE it! I ve been seeing great results! For an additional $30 off your first order, you can use one of the following promo codes: 7f1702c, 7cfff66, 7cf0ce4, or 7d002fe Report Abuse

I did a lot of research on it after my second child 6 years ago, and decided against it because it was ridiculously expensive (I feed four of us on less money per month than than it would cost for a month of Nutrisystem food for one person). Also, you have to add your own fruits and vegetables to some things, so there s more money. And all I could find was complaints from people who had been to hell and back trying to get them to stop charging them whenever they didn t want their nasty food anymore (and yeah, lots of talk about how gross it is!).A local DJ where I live has done it twice, and talked about it on the air for us to hear. She says the best thing about it is portion control, but the food is not very tasty and it costs too much. If you just want the convenience of pre-cooked stuff, you could do just as well with a sensible breakfast and 2 Lean Cuisines per day for a lot less money - and Lean Cuisines actually taste good!See this also: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;

cost about 400 a month.... only works if you eat the food with excersice... food is nasty and its hard to get off the billing system as they send you food on a regular basis and auto bill you

I have tried it and it will work if you follow the plan religiously and exercise. I thought some of the food nasty too and the only way I could eat some of it was if I was starving. I did not care for the fact that it limited my fruit. The soy chips had to be thrown away. Very expensive too.

Nutisystem works, as long as you follow the plan diligently. If you are nursing find out from your doctor if you can start the program. There are pills that you have to take. It s very expensive for the start up. Around $300-$350. The food is so so. Once you find things that aren t totally gross you ll be okay.

I think it will work, but you need to have an exercise routine each and everyday because exercise helps take the fat off as well. At least 30 minutes a day.Remember to keep your calorie intake the same once off the diet or you could gain it back.

about 10 bucks a day.... you can also do this diet on your own with out ordering their food.... its called the glycemic diet... or sugar busters... if you need the food sent to you to stay on track its a good way to go

A healthy diet with lots of fruits, vegetables, lots of water, combine with some exercise is the key! Lay off the bad carbs like cake, white bread, crackers, etc.Keep away from fried foods. You can add some olive oil to stir fry.Load up on veggies, whole grains, fish, chicken, and lean meats. No need to pay all that extra cash.just spend more calories than you put in.

It s an awesome program and it does work well however it s really expensive.

Hi! I am 20 years old and I just started Nutrisystem 6 weeks ago. I have lost 15 pounds since the first day. I have only exercised once a week because I have been really busy with work and school. I pay $294 a month, and after the 3rd Auto-Delivery they drop payments to $277. Also, I received a free week of food with my first delivery and also with my second. You dont get to pick what free food they send you, but you do get to exchange it. You will still need to buy some fresh fruits and vegetables on the diet. I also eat two yogurts a day and it really helps.True, some of the foods aren t good, but you have to find the right ones. If you choose to try Nutrisystem, here are some of my favorites:Breakfast: chocolate chip granola bar, chocolate chip pancakes, blueberry pancakes, strawberry toaster pastry, cinnamon swirl granola bar, apple cinnamon oatmeal.Lunch: Chocolate Peanut Butter Bar, Trail Mix Bar, Fudge Graham BarDinner: Thick Crust Pizza, Thin Crust PizzaDessert: Chocolate Crunch Bar, Mint Chocolate Crunch Bar, Strawberry Shortcake BarLike I said, I have only been on the program 6 weeks so I am still finding out what I do and dont like. And I would probably be losing more weight if I made more time to exercise. Hope this helps you :)PS the pizzas are REALLY good!!

Is a medium sized chicken salad okay? -

I ve been on a diet for about a week and a half and I haven treally been eating much. I realized after intense hungerand a huge binge, that I DO need food. lolSo, I decided to diet the right way. But, I do need to lose around 20-25 pounds by the end of July,so I want to take in the least amount of calories I can take in in order to remain healthy but still lose weight quickly. For lunch today, I had a medium salad with strips of chickenbreast, a few jalapenos and some 70 calorie ranch dressing.I know the salad is good for me, and so are the jalapenos (20 small slices are 5 calories). Obviously, that s healthy, but I m a little worried about the ranch dressing and chicken.I don t want to gain back the weight I lost from not eating alot, and I heard when you start to eat more again, you gain all of theweight back.Is the salad healthy enough to the point where I won t gain weight?Or should I double my exercise?I really need to lose the weight for work purposes, and any tips or a good diet plan for 20-25 pounds by the end of Julywould be great. Thanks! (:

If you are looking to lose 20 lbs in 60 days then you need to do more than starve yourself. Muscle burns more calories when your body is at a resting rate. It amazes me how the diet industry is still bombarded by people who can t understand the basic mechanics of the human body.Think of your body like a car. To run efficiently it needs an engine, good gas and it needs to be used regularly. This is equivalent to engine = muscles, good gas = nutritious food, regular use = cardio. You should be doing resistance training at least 2 days a week for 45 min each, 5 days of high intensity cardio for 45 min - 1 hour AND modifying your food intake.Once your body starts exercising and building muscle you will need to regulate food intake - a car doesn t use gas only 3x s a day, it consumes gas the entire time it is running. Therefore, section your meals across the day to include 5 meals a day where each meal should be no more than 300 calories. It takes a while for the body to get used to this but eating more frequently in smaller meals will teach your body to consume/burn more efficiently. Now 300 calories per meal isn t a lot of food so you must choose wisely. Stick with whole grains, legumes, nonfat dairy, lean meats, fish and plenty of fruits and green leafy veggies.Skip all fried foods and certainly skip processed food loaded with preservatives. What are you doing eating ranch dressing if you need to lose 25 lbs in 60 days? Make your own dressing by mixing sherry vinegar with dijon mustard and just a touch of raw honey. A small salad from most restaurants and fast food places are loaded with FAT and nearly 500 - 1200 calories and that s not including the bread. There is no way to cheat this - if you want long term results you ve got to change your lifestyle. Get a fitness coach to help you start off - it takes 30 days to create a habit. This way you will develop the confidence to continue.

heres how you should eat: Eat little but frequently throughout the day. Like a handful each time, but around 10 times a day. It increases your metabolism and you burn off calories much faster. Im 20 years old and im under 100 pounds, thats how iv been eating ever since i was little and i dontthink il ever gain weight even if i eat 2 chickens a day. :)

At the end of the day all that matters is how many calories went in and were burned out

chicken is a lean protein and it is very good for loosing weight but still eating food.instead of worrying about food to the extent u are i think u should worry about exercising and being healthy! weight takes along time to make go away! im goin to give u some links that i like to use to help me stay on track i hope they work for u :)good site to look around:http://www.tesh.com/ittrium/visit?path=Ahttp://www.ehow.com/how_4732542_eat-losehttp://www.ehow.com/how_4833608_fast-hea

Count your calories. You don t say how many chicken strips you had. You only need 6 ozs of protein per day...a 6 oz portion of any meat is about the size of a deck of cards...but each has it s own calorie output. Take the amount of weight you want to weigh...such as 125 lbs and multiply by 10 = 1250....that s how many calories you should consume in a day. And exercise any way you can. To stay at your target weight you can only consume that amount of calories...again the weight times 10.
