Wieght Loss tips? -

I m 16 years old and I ve been heavy since 13. People don t ridicule me or call me names or anything like that, but I m tired of not having my sizes at all of the cute stores that I shop at.. I want to go back to school in august and feel great about my self.. the only problem is I can never stick to my diet.. Anybody have any FUN weight loss tips and ideas??

The best advice I can give you is to find healthful foods and activities that you actually enjoy. I have a sweet tooth so I eat a lot of fruit. I enjoy hiking and bike riding so I do a lot of that for exercise. Only you know what will work for you. I don t know if this is fun, but what I used to do was to eat only healthy food and reasonable portions Monday through Saturday and on Sunday I would eat whatever I wanted. I don t mean pig out, just Sunday was the day I would enjoy the things I would not let myself have during the week. I never ate so much on Sunday that it would un-do all my hard work. Then you never really feel deprived. Just tell yourself Sunday s coming.... and exercise of course!

Cardio girl!!!! Run or bike your lil butt off. Diet is about 70% of losing weight though. I would try and just eat more fruits and veggies everyday instead of so many starches and sweets. And if you do want a bowl of ice cream eat one!! Just remember when eating sweets or junk food, you need to eat in moderation!!! That does not mean you can have a bowl of ice cream every night. My way of being on a diet is i eat healthy through out the week then on Sunday, I eat the meal or dessert i have been craving all week. Then on Monday I am ready to start again.

Hm. A fun way to lose weight.Well, if they have a Lady Of America near by(or other gym), take a few friend(s) who would also like to lose a little weight, and sign up! Go to the gym a few times and week and take classes! You really won t regret it! Also, eat healthy. No more junk food, fast food, candy, etc. Drink eight glasses of water a day! you can go for jogs in the morning, do cruches in front of t.v. eat healthy food that taste good to you have a friend do it with you or a relative do and lay off junk food for a while and you ll free great.

diet plans suck and diets never work,so why diet???just portion control your food intake...drink only water and never skip any meal...do cardio and toning exercises 6 days a week and results are definitely coming!

Weight loss tips in 09!!? -

I am a junior in college and needless to say I have gained some weight. The whole college dorm experience...went straight to my hips and stomach. I turn 21 in Sept and I plan on partying HARD, but recently I have lost alot of self confidence. And I want to look stunning on my birthday! SO....I need help getting back in shape (I was active in high school) and I need tips to help me stay on track and stay motivated!!!All help is welcome. Thanks in advance!!

its all in your diet trust me. I lost 20 pounds just by eating right... im not saying you havto completely stop eating normal food and drink some gross tea or anything. Just cut down on junk food and slowly but surely you will lose weight. If you are looking to lose it quick then I suggest joining some kind of activity like yoga or something but thats only if you are really dedicated. otherwise just eat right and try and get some exercise in daily like jogging around or somethingi know its no awesome advice but this is what you havto do.. trust me

i lost 39 pounds in five months without any crap. not to be a jerk, but stop eating crap. it will make u feel bad and u will just keep eating.one thing that really helped was when i got locked in my basement by my parents, i learned to hunt like the iruits and i lived off of the vermin present underneath the stairwell. needless to say, the beast was crushed! war paint helps!

Need to Lose Weight. Help? -

okay, i m 15 years old, 5 1 and about 150 pounds. according to my BMI and my doctor, i m overweight and at risk for developing diseases like diabetes. i d really like to get down to between 105-115 pounds. and if at all possible, i d like to lose this weight by february...or earlier. i ve heard a lot about the south beach diet and how its good for regulating blood sugar and how some people lose like a pound a day on phase 1. *does it really work this well? *if so, what are some good south beach recipes? i know exercise is a big factor when it comes to weight loss. i ve always wanted to start...but i just don t know where to begin. i have access to a treadmill, elliptical, stair-climber-ish thing, bowflex, and free weight. i also have a good neighborhood for biking/walking (its about 1 mile all the way around). *what should i do to get the most out of my workout? *what exercises will burn the most calories? *what can i do to help tone my entire body? finally, if i go on south beach, its gonna be hard to get fiber since i can t have bread or anything. i saw these fiber supplements at cvs called Fiber Choice Weight Management. *will they help? *do they have any harmful effects that i should know about? any other weight loss tips will be greatly appreciated! just, please no crazy starvation diets or expensive diet pills. i m 15! thanks in advance!

You have to assess yourself and see what you have done to be at 150 pounds. Then you want to make a slow transition into eating healthier as well as doing some exercise. Don t do anything too extreme, you should ease yourself into it.Eat smaller meals throughout the day, so you can sustain it. Start off doing 20 mins of cardio 3 times a week. A good machine would be the elliptical machine since it does not cause any injuries as to running on a treadmill. Doing cardio will boost your metabolism so the earlier in the day you do it, the better it is for you. I recommend you do it first thing you wake up in the morning. If you do it in the morning you will be burning fat calories after 7 hours of sleep. If you work out anytime after that, you will just be burning the calories you consumed earlier that day.Lift weights to tone your muscles on the days you don t do cardio. Lifting weights actually burns more calories throughout the day than cardio and it turns the fat you have into muscle. I recommend you do low weights with 15 to 20 repetitions. Try your best to eat foods high with protein, fruits and vegetables. As time goes by, slowly cut down your daily intake of carbohydrates and fat. Also increase physical activity.The more cardio you do the more results you will see. Keep this up (It s not easy) and you will see results eventually! excersice, cycling, swimming, skipping etc, eat eat breakfast- grape fruit- yoghurt- lunch nice light salad with fresh fish - dinner low fat meat- chicken or salmon with rice or potatos with some veg.:-))

On a nice day walk your neighborhood but not leisure walk, fast walk. Get yourself a good pair of sneakers to do so. On rainy days or cold day use your threadmill. If you start doing weights now it will turn your fat into muscle and it will be harder to break down. Wait to do this until you have lost at least ten pounds. Also limit your carbohydrates and startches and concentrate on vegetables and meats. Stay away from sweets and sugar or just limit yourself to a very, very small portion of this. For example, if you have done well with your diet throughout the week, then treat yourself to one candy bar at the end of the week. Drink water on a regular basis and get a good night sleep.

Check your diet. Don t go on any crazy diets - you ll put on more weight by doing this...You are better off going on a healthy diet for life. This doesn t mean you can t have treats but they are just that - treats. Cut out the big cr*p (like the big fast food McDonald s, Burger King, KFC etc).Exercise, at least 1/2 hour per day. Get yourself a pedometer and do at least 10,000 steps per day plus 1/2 to 1 hour of cardio per day and some weight bearing exercise say about 3 times a week.

I am actually fairly skinny as far a size...but i have a big belly that sticks out, diets don t work for me and I want to lose my belly as fast as possible, I can t leave the house cause I am always busy in dance lessons or piano or something...please help I hate my belly!

Actually don t do situps. It wont help you at all. You need to do more cardio. Dancing is a good way to loose belly fat. You should try yoga or martial arts. One thing that worked for me was an intense sprinting/running interval. If you need further help please contact me.

Pull in your abs and do standing cruches while listening to music. Cut out red meat and milk, and eat more apples. Maybe some pilates will help too. Good Luck

wel i m 15 years old, 5 5 and 135lbs.i ve never had a positive view of my body image, but i still would like to knowwhat the scale actually is...whether that is techincally obese or not.also, any QUICK but natural organic weight loss tips.i don t want to do anything too risky or whatever, but i really want the extra weight gone.

Actually, you don t have to diet as such if you want to lose weight, the only thing which clearly showed results for me is wu-yi tea, it can be checked out in the resource box underneath, they have a few free trials remaining, it has been reported in Reader s Digest and CNN. Your not overweight, I am also 5 5 and my goal weight is 135lbs. There are no quick ways to lose weight, cutting back on calories (500 less a day) and not eating after 6pm are a great way to lose weight. A simple walk around the neighborhood once a day will also help.
