Just because you re not eating junk food you might still be eating too much good stuff... like bread, pasta, anything high in carbs.You still need carbs for energy, but not too much because even going for a jog won t burn of 3-4 high carb meals.

Cut back on refined carbs and go with whole grains(smaller portions), lots of non-starchy veggies and some low-glycemic fruits (berries, cantaloupe, apricots). Eat more lean protein (fish, poultry, buffalo, etc).Change to extra virgin olive oil in place of other added fats.Add beans/legumes! Good sources of fiber and nutrients.
