Is this a healthy weight loss plan? -

I m 17 years old, Five feet and four inches tall, and I m currently 160 pounds. I have no energy at all, and a poofy belly, no butt, large thighs and body rolls: 2 back rolls and love handles. big boobs.I want to be healthy, but I also want fast results. So...I ll use a colon cleanser and take fluid tablets to get rid of access body weight. Special K with reduced fat milk and an apple for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and as for dinner...a half portion of whatever my family s having including desert. I work at McDonalds, so I thought that I d go to smoothie king and get a small smoothie during my breaks. Then, I can chew on sugar free gum while i m working to avoid the temtaion of putting anything in my mouth. I ll also do a twenty minute taebo workout every morning, and an hour long dance workout three times a week. My goal? To be healthy for the rest of my life, but to weigh 130 pounds, and look good in a swim suit by June 23rd: our disney vacation.good?

I would not recommend the colon cleanser or fluid tablets. just drink lots of water and eat foods with fiber to clean you out naturally. find a better cereal than Special K. Cheerios or Total have more nutrients and will help you stay satisfied longer. the rest sounds good. will they let you chew gum at work? I did that when I was 17 and lost a lot of weight. good luck!

June 23rd is out of the question. But your diet sounds decent, except for the smoothie (full of sugar and not filling enough) and you might want to prepare your own meals for a bit. I cannot stress it enough: vegetables vegetables vegetables! Very filling, very good for you. Also do some research on fish, an excellent source of vitamins and many are very low in fat. Avoid anything with white flour . . . and keep doing your research. Try to get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. The more you do this, the easier it will be, I promise. :-)

i m sorry but you will not be 130lbs by june 23 unless you literally starve yourself, and then you will either go to the hospital, or start eating and gain it all back plus more.you need more exercise and a better diet plan. no smoothie, those have a zillion calories, bring carrots and fruit and celery from your house instead. and eating dessert with your family? bad idea.also, colon cleansers are unneccesary and VERY dangerous. so that just seems pointless.

If you really want to use weight fast, eat 6 small meals a day. eat the special K then 2 hrs later have the apple with some peanut butter. then 3 hrs later have a salad, then 2 hrs later have a snack. This REALLY works. I didnt believe it. If you can make the 6 meals no more than 300 calories each, you will be swimsuit ready in no time!!!!!

i understand that you wanna loose weight. i am 15 and like last year i was way overweight so i started to take advice from some of my friends. they told me to skip a couple meals and take some weird weight loss pills. it wasnt good at all. sure i lost the weight but all i really needed to do was watch what i eat and exersize daily....that is the plan that works the best. if you stick to that you will look great by the time you go on your trip

eat healthy foods like fruits vegebles wholegrains proteins but not to much exercise like jogging swimming skiing etc dont worry about your weight if it comes down okay if it does not okay maybe lose ten orso pounds you should should be allright.

Do like the latins and diet on those mexican jumping beans- the moth is high in protein and will give you the stamina to make all the marches! GTA111/Ross Hwd, Fla.

thats good you didnt call it a diet. its a healthy lifestyle, im a healthy person too. its seem good but make sure you exerise and keep it to a healthy wieght

Seems like an excellent plan to me. All the right motives and reasonable end date with a reasonable amount to lose by that end date. Good Luck and I hope you succeed!!

be careful about smoothies even though they have natural fruits and stuff they still have sugar which turns to fat.but that sounds good

really close i think you need to eat more or work out less other wise you will lose that Waite but not be healthy. i would ether cut the dance or eat like a bagel on your brake

sounds pretty healthy to me, but you should watch what goes in your smoothie, they can have lots of sugar in them.

eat fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains. make sure to exercise

Starting out with a colon cleanse and diuretics is not a way to begin being healthy for the rest of your life. Your breakfast sounds OK. You need to have some protein in that salad for lunch and use fat free salad dressing. Not knowing what your family eats for dinner, I can t comment on that. Check the nutiritional content in the smoothie. Fat and sugars are to be avoided. Just because it is a smoothie does not mean it is nutritious. Your best bet is to eat 6 small meals a day, making sure that there is protein in each one. Also, at your age you need 3 servings of calcium (dairy) each day. You are still building bone and if you skimp on calcium you can expect osteoporosis and broken bones when you are older. That is hardly a healthy lifestyle. A healthy rate of weight loss is 1 to 1 1/2 pounds a week. Your goal of being 130 by the time you go to Disney is not realistic, nor is it healthy. Drink water rather than counting on sugar free gum. The sugar free gum tricks your body into thinking it is getting calories. When it doesn t get those calories. You will get extra hungry. Avoid processed food and fast food. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables and low fat protein (baked fish, chicken breasts, low fat or fat free cheese and yogurt). You have to use 3,500 calories more than you take in to lose one pound. If you cut back too much on calories, your body thinks you are in a famine and will slow down your metabolism-the rate at which you burn calories-making it even harder to lose.Go to the library and learn about nutrition. Consider a healthy, balanced program like Weight Watchers which will help you be healthy for the rest of your life.

To loss the weight i think this option and its work for me:eat more fruitdrink fresh juiceget detoxificationno junk foodno milkno yogurtno sodadrink natural watersport (like exercise, running, walking, aerobic, swimming)eat more saladgood sleepthe example eat menu :BreakfastAlways same: juice presses fresh, as much as desirable, up to 14 ounce; fresh succulence as much as desirable, or salad fruit; when do you very hungry. When not make difficult, sometimes fun replaced fruit every day that eaten at morningLunchFresh fruit juice, or carrot juice, 4 - 8 ounce, when does desirable. Salad with fresh vegetable addition desirable and combination sandwich with cucumber or celery.DinnerFresh vegetable cocktail juice, soup cream cauliflower. Potato boat or simple grilled chicken. Garlic flavor string bean. Salad green French.I read this menu from this blog in HEALTHY LIFESTYLE ARCHIVES. In this blog have an articles for main program, program, healthy lifestyle, many tips and more useful links for loss your weight. And have VIDEO ARCHIVES, its very help.

The only problem with those types of diets is boredom, you say you want to be healthy for life but you can t have special K for breakfast every day for the next 60 years!. The fluid tablets and colon cleanser are unnecessary. At your age you should be having three healthy balanced meals a day and an active lifestyle. Too much chewing gum will promote acid in your stomach, making you feel hungrier so try to limit your gum. Sharing your family meal is fine so long as it s something healthy, if it s something unhealthy then why have a half sized portion of crap when you can have a large healthy meal instead?. There s good and bad points in your diet. good luck anyway, you don t sound silly you sound like you know what you re doing.

One of my good friends is trying to lose weight. I m worried about her, because I think she is doing it in an unhealthy way. She skips meals and takes diet pills. I ve suggested that she burn more calories than she takes in and toss out the diet pills, but she claims she doesn t have time for exercise. I m very worried. Does anyone have any healthy ideas I could suggest to her? Thank you!

i want to lose 5-8 pounds how can i do it fast without a weight loss program

Build your own style of eating. I m a vegetarian, so your meal plans will probably be different than mine if you arn t. But 60% of my diet is vegetables, 25% is fruits, about 15% is nuts and beans. Make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need by having a large variety of foods.

Since I started to work out I was looking for a good weight loss product. I was on a diet but I felt that I needed a little help so I decided to try this great product and I had fantastic results. Aloe vera colon cleanser tablets holland and barret? -

i know this might be a daft question, but what effect do get from them, and are these good to kick start a healthy weight loss plan?

Aloe vera is a natural laxative and also helps rid the system of toxins. As with all laxatives you weigh less after you have been to the loo but long term use leads to all kinds of problems. Perhaps just take them now and again when needed.

JUST don t take to many, unless you are near a loo.

Not too sure. I think the colon cleansers give you a less bloated feeling. I m sure they are worth a try. If in doubt you could always go into the shop and ask them. They may even have a website that will tell you

No! They will just help you go! The best start to a good diet will be drinkig lots of water and eating three good meals a day. And exercise where ever you can.

Help!!! Any good tips for fast, healthy weight loss? -

I have a wedding to go to in a week and wanna look my best. Please only serious advice.

Losing weight is a simple equation: if you burn more calories than you eat, the weight will come off. Start off by estimating how many calories you burn each day using the calorie calculator http://straighthealth.com/pages/tools/ca This will give you an idea of how many calories to eat. Healthy weight loss is 1-2 pounds per week. To lose 1 pound per week you need to create a calorie deficit (burn more than you eat) of 500 calories per day. To lose 2 pounds a week, you have to double the deficit to 1000 calories per day. You can achieve this by eating less, exercising more or a combination of both.Beginners Guide to Dieting - http://straighthealth.com/pages/guides/b

here is web you get any thing to lose some pounds ? plus it all about diet foods where real people just alike wanna to lose some weights and become healthy everyday. go to www.weightwatchers.com

A week s time is very short notice, I would recommend Fasting for 3 to 4 Days, drinking Lot s of water, and going on long walks, and then eating extremely light, which will not be a problem after a 4 day Fast. Don t Fast till the day before the Wedding, or the day of the Wedding if you eat and drink you ll get deathly sick and vomit!

if you only have a week time - then what i can suggest is cutting out carbs, drinking more water, cardio 45 min a day and a day before the wedding you can take some laxatives to get flatter belly and/or water pill - thats what i would do and im very healthy concious.

HELP!!! I want to lose more weight but my diet is no longer working effectively!!? -

I m between 5 7 and 5 8 female right now I weight 160lbs I have a large frame and I m 20. In late April I was 183lbs. I modified my diet by eating healthier and I ve lost the weight. The problem is that now its becoming very difficult to lose the extra 15 pounds that I need to reach my ideal weight. Before I was eating between 1000 to 1500 calories a day and all I drink is water and I rarely eat sweets. Up to now I haven t exercised I ve just been doing regular daily activities. Does anyone have any advice about what I should do to lose the extra weight. I m not looking for fad diets because I will gain the weight back. I want a healthy weight loss plan but one that works. ****please be as detailed as possible if you have a weight loss plan that works let me know....if not... any advice will do also!!Thanks for helping

You ve stopped losing weight because your body has adapted to your eating plan. Your body always strives to be in balance, meaning calories in equaling calories burned. Since you cut back your calories (and didn t exercise), your body has been putting metabolic processes in motion to lower your metabolism (the rate at which you burn calories) until it matches how many calories you are eating. So, at first you lost weight because you were taking in fewer calories than you burned. Now, you ve caused your metabolism to slow down, so you re burning fewer calories every day, thus the weight loss has stopped.Unfortunately, since you ve slowed down your metabolism, if you start to eat any more, all of the excess calories will be stored as fat. What you need to do is begin an exercise program, preferably one involving resistance training. This will help build muscle, which will increase your metabolism. You should couple this with cardio interval training to also boost metabolism.Turbulence Training by Craig Ballantyne is one of the best programs you could follow, and all of the exercises can be done at home. You can check it out here:http://www.bestfitnesstools.com/turbulenHope that helps,Dave S.Owner, Perfect Fit Personal Training Studiohttp://www.thetruthaboutdiets.com

hii, check this site they offer a program so as to lose about 9 lbs. every 11 days, and it really works, i subscribed for this program for about 2 months ago ,and it s for real it helped me alot. Here is the link http://overweight-doc.co.nr ,hope it helps.

You definitely need to exercise. Try this routine: Start your fitness plan with a good warm up. A warm up will increase your core body temperature and get you to break a sweat. After you are warmed up you can continue your cardio workout or you can begin your resistance fitness plan. Make sure you have a padded bench of some kind to use for the sitting and lying exercises.First, you will focus on the large muscle groups then progress to smaller ones. This fitness plan will involve a combination of exercises using dumbbells or your own body weight. Here is an example of a good fitness plan.SQUATS 3 sets/25 repsStart with legs wider than hip width, toes slightly turned out. Squat down until your upper legs are parallel to the floor. Keep you back as upright as possible with abdominals engaged.LUNGES 3sets/15 repsStart with a long stride keeping the front knee directly over the ankle when at the bottom of the lunge position. Make sure to pull up with the front leg without any push off of from the back foot. Perform the lunges in a walking manner.MODIFIED/FULL PUSH UPS 3sets/10-15 repsBegin with a version of the push up that is appropriate to your strength level. You want a diagonal line from shoulders to knees or shoulders to feet (depending on which form of push up you do). Only attempt the number of reps that you can complete with perfect form.DUMBELL PULLOVER 3 sets/10-15 repsLie on your back. Hold the dumbbell with your hands overlapped and facing the ceiling. Keep your arms straight and take the weight overhead and return it back over your chest.ONE ARM ROW 3 sets/10 repsStabilize your knee and one hand on the bench with the working arm hanging straight down. Pull the weight up in a rowing motion toward the side of the body.LATERAL RAISE 3 sets/10 repsWith weights in hands and arms at the sides, raise your arms out to the sides up to shoulder height and back down. Be careful not to shrug the shoulders.BICEP CURLS 3 sets/10 repsWith arms at sides palms facing up, flex elbow joint to bring weight up toward shoulders and return to full extension to complete each rep.TRICEP DIPS 3 sets/10 repsStart sitting on a bench perpendicular to it with hands on the edge of the bench.Straighten arms and bring hips just off the bench and bend the elbows to lower body down. Straighten your arms to bring body back to the start position. This can be done with bent knees to modify the movement.ABDOMINAL CRUNCHES 5 sets/20 repsThere are many variations of the crunch and you can change up the positions frequently. A basic version is lying on your with back legs bent, feet on the floor, and your arms reaching at your sides. Flex the spine to crunch up and keep your chin tucked in toward your chest with about a golf ball size space between chin and chest. Keep your eyes focused on the top of your thighs. Crunch up keeping the lower back in contact with the floor and always keep the abdominals engaged to protect the back and neck. This is a basic fitness plan that can be done in the gym or at home. You should start with light weights and slowly increase the resistance after you have completed the fitness plan several times without developing muscle soreness. In order to make it more challenging after several workouts you can either pick up the pace between exercises, add reps or increase the weight. Never make all three modifications in the same workout. This fitness plan can be done 3 to 4 times per week always leaving at least 48 hours for proper muscle recovery. By adding additional cardiovascular exercise you will be getting in a very well rounded workout. http://www.fitnessdiet.info/fitnessplan.

go to www.weightwatchers.com to the online community. Look for a board about plateau s. The ladies on there are great and can give you real world solutions that are healthy and work.

hey you sound very similar to me....I was 170 and lost the first 15 pounds by watching what I ate and then I started going to the gym to lose the last 15 pounds, I plateaued but again muscle weight more than fat...The best you can do it start working out, you might not see the scale move as fast as you like but you will feel the different in how your clothes fit and so on....keep doing what you are doing but start walking if you don t have access to a gym..

Cut out carbs that you really dont need. You dont need to eat bread with every meal, instead of a sandwhich try just the meat. I eat a lot of salads from subway with loads veggies.on it and tuna or meat. And then i try not to add the dressing, witht he tuna you dont need the dressing because its in mayo (light mayo, already). I cut carbs for 2 weeks and lost 4lbs. so you can do it! just make better choices.

Good Vitamins and Herbs that support weight loss.? -

What are some good vitamins and herbs that support healthy weight loss?

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Am i loosing too much Weight in a week? -

i am NOT on a diet, and I am NOT starving myself. I am on a healthy balanced diet + smaller portions, and i am doing about 4 hours of daily activityevery day activity that i have always done and HAVE TO DO;Walking the dog - 60 minsWalking dog - 30 minsWalking to work - 30 minsWalking from work , uphill 30mins and i have added some cardio exercises1hr jogGeneral aerobics and some tone work - 30 mins in 2 DAYS I have already lost 1.5lbs.but I know that an healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs a WEEK. so if i loose 1.5lb every 2 days, that is 5.25lbs in one week

Don t weigh yourself so often. Your weight fluctuates a couple pounds throughout the day, so weighing yourself often doesn t really reflect your true weight. Weigh yourself once a week at the same time (ie Monday morning before breakfast) to get a more accurate picture of your weight. You sound like you re doing the right thing by exercising - good luck to you and don t worry about the 1.5 lbs because of the fluctuations I explained.

First off, congratulations that is a real achievement. The trick is to keep it up. Walking is great exercise and even better you have incorporated it into your daily routine.Eating 5 small meals is much better than 3 large. It keeps your blood sugars more level and you are less likely to store fat from excess calorie intake. It looks like you really don t need any help at all except I would suggest replace jogging with swimming to burn more calories, increase toning efforts and reduce strain/impact on joints.Again, well done.

What you have lost is called water weight. When you change something in your routine this is how your body reacts. You seem to be very active just keep it up. In a week or so you will start losing less weight. Don t weight yourself so often :) good luck

GUARANTEED SENSIBLE ways to lose weight is diet: no more than 1200 cal per day and exercise; workout 3 times a week minimum for 30 minutes.

It s really nice to hear that you are thinking about doing it the healthy way.People who are overweight tend to lose weight at a much faster rate than people who aren t. The rate at which you are losing weight will not continue, it will begin to slow down almost immediately and I would be very surprised if you had lost 5lbs in a week.If you do find that you have lost this much you need to take some steps to ensure that the weight loss is not so rapid as this can cause a number of problems. If you lose weight too quickly, your body will assume it is being starved and will store anything you feed it as fat. Also, when/if you do start eating again, the weight will pile straight back on. So you may want to consider either upping your calorie intake, this should be 2000-2500 calories a day for a healthy person, however, if you are trying to lose weight it can be reduced to around 1200 but this should not be a permanent change.Secondly, you could reduce the amount of exercise you do. Exercise is great for you but it must be kept in proportion with the amount of calories you are ingesting. Otherwise you risk becoming faint, light-headed and suffering from exhaustion.
