I am 16 and I would like to loose weight? -

Hi I am a 16 year old boy who lives the UK, I thinks its the right time of my life to be thinking I am going to college in September and I want to meet a nice looking girl, I weigh 13 stone and I am 5 foot 8 inches and I want to loose about 3 or 4 stone when I get committed I wont stop so if you no of any fast pace weight loss programs no drugs just exercise and food diets please post answer thank for the time.

If you cut back bad carbs and exercise steady you can lose weight and gain muscle. Never eat before working out. Minimize your meals. Eat a strong breakfast, decent lunch and lite dinner. Can you be starving yourself without knowing it? -

I m on a diet where I eat a net total of 1000 calories or less in a day.(usually eating 1500 calories but burning at least 500 calories)I m 19, 5 5 , 133 lbs and am eating mostly veggies, fruit, complex carbs and chicken. I m never really hungry cause I drink a lot of water..I just wanna know if I m starving myself cause I don t want my body to start storing excess fat. How many calories should I be consuming for healthy weight loss?Thanks a lot guys.

The body must have at least 900 or so calories a day just to maintain itself. Normally for weight loss, they recommend about what you say you are eating, that is around 1200-1500 calories per day. If you are not losing about a pound a week at the current level, then you can eat less or exercise more. Just don t drop the calorie intake below 1000 calories per day and maintain the same exercise regimen. To be sure you are getting the necessary vitamins and minerals, take a chewable multivitamin/mineral tablet each day. A children s chewable will fill the bill nicely without costing an arm and leg. Well you should be eating more than 1500 calories a day if you re going to be exercising, not just for health but to optimize fat loss (instead of muscle loss) by keeping your metabolism levels high. Anyway, you re not starving yourself. If you were, you d feel extremely lethargic and unhealthy. And eventually, you d look like a POW or something.

It doesn t sound like your starving. starving is like in all the 3rd world countries when they have to share one rice bowl for 8 people. Now those ppl are starving. I hate when people say that they are starving when they are just remotely hungry. Just say your hungry not starving. Too literal.

Your diet is fine so long as you aren t terribly active. 1,000 calories a day is fine.

its possiblebut i know i would feel it cause i got my gall bladder removed and when im hungry my stomach really hurts so i know when im starving

it dosent really matter just less but alot of time and u wont be gaining any weight

Help I need lose weight fast-for wedding? -

Okay I know you should lose 1-2lbs a week for healthy weight loss.... but right now I dont care, my wedding is in a month, my dress just came in and it doesn t fit I m thinking I need to lose 20 lbs, and I need to lose it fast, I don t care if its just short term and I ll gain it back since it wont be a healthy way.....after wedding I ll try and lose weight the correct way,,,,, but I need to lose 20lbs fast even if it s short term. I need to fit in my wedding dress......also I have one other thing against me I had this foot procedure done and I can t put too much stain on my foot so I can t really to do much excerise like running or treadmill ect I can walk outside probably about 15 mins at a time before my foot starts hurting again but thats my only form of excerise I can really do for the next few weeks while my foot heals. Help can you give me suggestions what to do and eat

low carb all the way. Eat a max of 15-20g of carbs a day. You re allowed to eat all lean meats that aren t high in carbs such as chicken, beef, steak, fish etc. and you re allowed to eat fat too. Not too much though. Not too many fruits or veggies are alloed on tthe diet. Just eat lettuce.No bread, rice, anything made out of flour basically.Take centrum to make up for vitamins and nutrients you re losing out on.And take centrum as a fiber supplement.Eat a max of 1200 calories a day and split your meals into 5-6 seperate meals.Walking is enough exercise on this diet. Do it everyday though.And drink a ton of water everyday. I m talking like 3 litres because protein breakdown takes long and you want to fluch out your body regularly.Hope this helps, good luck. Heyy. A natural way to loose wieght is to eat an aple before every meal. It blocks about 50% of the calories and fat that you would absorb with out an apple. No side affects. Weight loss pills only block about 5% of calories and fat. With this method and Weekly or daily exercize, youll be gorgeous in a short while.(I lost 20lbs in 1.5 months)

You could lose 5 pounds by swimming and biking a lot. You would would also need to eat around 1000-1200 calories a day.Don t drink soda or alcohol and stay away from processed foods.

ignore what the girl just said about being bulimic (dont go there!). I was there and its horrible so please dont. I ve lost weight and I m happy with the way I am by just cutting out sodas, juices and super sweet snacks. Just eat healthy and in portions, and try to eat every four hours, if your hungry of course. Avoid carbs (like breads) eat maybe a little bit of rice but dont over do it because it has a tendency of bloating etc etc.if you really want to lose weight, maybe go vegan, it cuts out all the fatty food, basically what i would do is eat rice with some soy sauce or veggies, a lot of sushi and it works like a charm.

my cousin lost 20 pounds in 2 or 3 weeks, i can t remember exactly, but this is what he did:he cut out all red meat.no sodas.ate oatmeal one to two times a day, it makes your metabolism go faster, which helps you get rid of the waste faster.ate cheerios for dinner.if you eat bread, whole wheat or whole grain is better.if you get a sweet tooth the hundred calorie packs are great.and if you can find organic bars, i found mine at walmart, they fill you up really fast.and drink lots of water.

Weight Issue Help For A Male Teen? -

Iam a 16 year old male i weigh about 9stone 67 kilograms and my height is 5 foot 7 inches . Since september 2007 when i got a injury to my knee i was unable to take part in any activies which ment no exercise i sat at home all day and just ate ate ate and i gained about a stone and a half my size 32 waste jeans were getting to small so i was going to a size 34 which was when i said no more so from june 25th until the 26th of october i have been on my own weight loss program i lose about 2stone iam now wearing size 30jeans and even they are a bit loes fitting i would eat around 1500 calories sometimes lower for breakfast i would have a small bowl of weetabix lunch i would have a roll and turkey a special k bar for a snack , dinner i would have a baked potatoe with tuna then i would have a small bowl of cereal at night . For exercise i would walk home from school which was is a 2mile walk then i would go out for a 5mile run then return home and do things such as sit ups , Squats , Pull ups and star jumps . Now i have a bad blister on my toe due to wearing the wrong shoes during exercise so i have been unable to exercise and go to school as i cant put on shoes but from monday to thursday i have just ate ate and ate i cannot say how many calories each of these 4 days i think around 3000 or just under each of these days iam afraid i will gain weight but my mum has told me i will not put on a thing as i have a fast metabolism and exericse every day and eat healthy everyday but this week due to being bored i have just ate alot could someone PLEASE tell me how much weight i would have put on in this week PLEASE thank you to whoever answers my question

Even though you can exercise you can still get out of your house and go to the library or something to occupy your time.For exercise you could try starting on weight training- maybe your school has a gym or something. Also you could just pop the blister if you haven t already. It will take a while to heal depending on your callouses but I find that it s still worth it.And uh lastly- 3000 calories won t kill you. Your bmr is probably arounf 2000-2500 so you won t be gaining much more (perhaps less) than 1/7 of a pound per day. Just get active as soon as possible and I doubt you ll see much weight gain.

i dont know wieght in gibberish stone talk only in pounds. so i cant help you sorry, but if u havent tried a low carb diet u should, it has worked for me, just eat lots of meat, eggs cheese etc..

Wow... Im confused... Miles, kilos, stones... you keep jumping back and forth from one system to the other. It looks like you are doing the right things, until you get bored and eat all the time. For kids in the US, the easiest remedy is to yank that friggin XBOX out of the wall, toss them a football, and boot their fat @ss right out the front door, telling them not to come back til dark.

RDA [ recommended daily allowance] for a guy in a day is 2500 and a girl is 2000in order to lose weight you should be burning off more than you are aken inexample if you consume 1500 calories you will have to burn off 1600+

Just remember that when you lower your calories, your body adjust to that amount and your metabolism slows down. If you for whatever reason start eating normal again, your body will have to adjust and metabolism has to gain momentum again. This is why people that drop calories to lose weight normally quit and gain the weight back plus some. Exercise is the key! I say lower your calories a little, and exercise. Time and Patience my friend.

actually I have been on a 1200 calorie diet for 2 and a half weeks now and have had enough energy to work out. So if you want to stick with the 1300 it sounds great to me. Just be sure to include lots of protein and fiber at each meal to keep you feeling full and satisfied. Good luck

You should aim to decrease your calories by 500 kcals a day. So 1500 would be a good amount to aim for.

Remember that if you are exercising you need to have energy. So don t starve yourself!!

If your a girl thats sounds ok - a bloke should have a few more say 1500
