For realistic and healthy weight loss, how much kg should i expect to lose in a month? -

Also, is consuming 2, 700 cals a day (i weigh 73 kg) and 3 cardio exercises a week enough?

well, i lost 100 pounds in a year so i guess it would be bout 8 pounds. gee that wasn t so hard to figure out

If you are to calculate anything then you should first start with calculating your Body Mass Index (BMI), this is your mass in kilos divided by your height, in meters, which is squared, i. e. BMI= mass/height2.Now, what the medical books say is that anything above 25 on the BMI scale is overweight and above 30 is obese. This tends to vary quite a bit, as the doctors and scientists put their brains to it, but it is good to have an idea.Next, the biochemical and nutritional medical books state that a normal, healthy person should loose on average between 4 and 6kg per month. Anything that is more that this could disturb the metabolic rate of the body. However, it is good to keep in mind that loosing the first 4kg might happen even faster than this since it is the fluid that can be found in all the organs, mostly in the liver, subsequent weight loss might occur slower than this.

Help..healthy weight loss? -

okay, i am 5 8 , 15, and about 122. even though that is a good weight, i stil have a lot of fat around my stomach that i would like to lose/firm. My goal is about 115 in about a month...any suggestions on workouts or diets in order to achieve this?? thanks!

Just lower portion size, eat more fuit and veg. Drink only water and do situps, crunches and run up and down stairs. x

Adding to the difficulty is the abundance of fad diets and quick-fix plans that tempt and confuse us.Just because your last diet attempt failed, or life events have caused you to gain weight, doesnt mean you are a failure.Check this.....http://www.weightlossdietpills.org/ Report Abuse

Your problem isn t your weight. Your problem is your lack of proper exercise and diet. No amount of weight that you ll lose is going to make you FIRM. Hell, anorexics and bulimics are all very flabby people.I don t know what to suggest because I don t know what you do already. Email me and we can figure it out.

trust me you dont need to lose weight. It s good to eat healthy and exercise, but don t starve yourself or anything stupid like that. Doing situps will help to get rid of the fat, but you might not get down to 115 because you ll also build muscle.

Swimming is the best way to reduce weight especially if you have fat around stomach . So, try swimming. The below link may useful for you.http://articlegalaxy.blogspot.com/2008/11/15-great-ways-to-quick-weight-loss.html

you are already underweight and do not need to diet. Do sit ups if you want to firm up your stomach but you do not need to lose weight.

Has anybody tried Atkins diet and would you suggest it is worth trying? -

I am looking to start a weight-loss program and have heard that the Atkins diet is very effective.

I tried the Atkins diet for two weeks and found that indeed I did lose some weight. However it is hard to eat so much meat and protein and the side-effects I experienced included dizziness and constipation. As with any diet it is only as good as the willpower of the person doing it. Most doctors would advise that sensible eating combined with plenty of regular exercise is the best way to maintain a healthy weight and that a long-term diet is easy to keep to his better than any fad that. Instead, alternative programs such as supplements are far more better than that as long as it is ephedrin free and made of natural ingredients like Lipodrene, Thermadrol, etc.

Don t you know how Dr. Adkins died?? If you are trying to loose weight you need to eat fresh foods, plenty of fruits veggies you have to exercise. Check out www.sparkpeople.com for some tips, recipies, ideas support.

So is cutting off an arm. That doesn t make it a good idea. Balanced diet, restrict calories, exercise.

The Adkins diet is effective, however you should talk with your doctor first before starting any weight loss program. Also with Adkins watch your cholesterol it will sky rocket being as your main foods will be meat, eggs and cheeses. My mom does it and she has lost alot of weight, and in order for her cholesterol to stay in check, every month she goes off of the diet for about a week and a half. Good Luck

Dr. Atkins death had nothing to do with the diet he recommended. He fell on an icy sidewalk and bumped his head. The Atkins diet is very effective, if you re very disciplined about it. If you cheat on it routinely, it won t work. I lost 40 lbs in a matter of months when I stuck to it.

i was never on it but somebody i know was , and i wouldn t try it cause u really can t eat anything good like bread or anything with carbs really, and even if u do do it right u will lose weight fast but gain right back again, if ur looking for a good weight loss plan with long term results then I d say weight watchers, u can eat what u want and still lose weight and keep it off i did it 2 years ago and it works

My nephew and his wife tried this diet. My nephew lost a lot of weight and his wife did not. This diet requires eating a lot of meat and no carbs (at least for awhile). It may have its good points to it as many people claim, but there are an equal number of people who claim it is harmful. I would ask your doctor or someone from a gym if you work out, and see what they say about it. I personally, believe that if you can t eat your basic healthy foods that our bodies are designed to be able to eat and be healthy with, then there is something wrong with that kind of logic. Eating an excessive amount of one type of healthy food while denying yourself another type of healthy food just doesn t seem very healthy to me. Of course this is my own opinion, but as I said, my nephew lost weight while his wife did not. Perhaps this diet is not as effective for women as it is for me. I don t know, since I personally have never tried it.

sheesh...there s nothing radical about the Atkins diet. You re simply limiting or avoiding sugars, starches and grains..food your body was not designed to digest...contrary to what this corrupt food industry will tell you.

I have used the Atkins diet in the past. Although you will see significant weight loss at first, it is not sustainable. The diet also made me feel ill all the time, and had many unpleasant side effects. It was not something that I could have kept up for any significant period of time. You will be much better off adopting a plan of eating more fruits, vegetables, whole grains and lean protein, adding in some exercise, and avoiding highly processed foods. All food groups have a place in a healthy diet, the key is to eat them in moderation. If you are looking for a healthful, proven weight loss program, I would suggest Weight Watchers. You can join in person or online (I believe online is less expensive). It is a much more sensible, long-term program.

There is a lot of controversy as to whether low carb diets are good for you. But I haven t seen anything definitive that states that it is bad. I have done it before, and it works very well. The biggest problem with low carb dieting is conforming it in your everyday life. It is very hard to find foods low in carbs, especially processed foods. most of what you will be eating, especially in the first stages of the diet, you will have to prepare yourself. On the plus side though, Bacon.

Coupons for weight loss products/diet pills/sports supplements? -

Does anyone know where I can get coupons for weight loss products, diet pills, or sports supplements? I ve tried searching sites for printable coupons but I haven t been able to find any. Do you know of any, have any, or know where to get them?

I found a website that offers 2 free bottles of hoodia gordonii weight loss pills. You have to order some to get the free ones, but it s a good deal.http://www.hoodia-gordonii-store.com

Whenever you are trying to lose weight, you should concentrate on these three things which all work together in providing a healthier and quicker weight loss goal for yourself. I have found this combination really successful in my weight loss plans. The first thing is exercising and how much you can put forth into it. The more you exercise, the more results you will see. The next thing is dieting and the calorie intake. If you exercise more, technically you could eat more? Always watch what you eat.Now the last step in a good weight loss plan is always a good diet pill that can help you get to the end of the road. I have found Proactol which is a natural herbal diet pill to be the best around. It s an appetite suppressant along with being a fat blocker which stops up to 28% of fat you eat. Read up about it at TheWeightLossPlace.com where I saved money on it. Proactol really works well with exercising which gives you plenty of energy to perform. Along with that your diet will be affected by Proactol due to the appetite suppressant and fat blocker. If you slip up on meals, the fat blocker kicks in. It s really great to stop food cravings.Concentrate on those three things and the combination is deadly for the fat cells in your body. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Healthy weight-loss?? -

I am 18 and I have been trying to burn off the 45 pounds i took in my freshman year of college. The problem is that i am lacking power and commitment. I am looking for a healthy supplement to help me loose weight. Does anyone know anything that would not harm my health? I would greatly appreciate advice from people who lost weight.

I use EPH200 and it works great for me. You have to use it for a while, the first bottle I used I didn t see much lose, but when I started the 2nd one I lost 4 lbs in like a week and a half. It was great!!! I just got 4 more bottles in the mail. I started it again today. I take 2 of them around 9:00, 2 more around 1:00 and 2 more around 4:00. Good Luck, I also go to the gym, but I only run/walk about 15 - 20 mins.

Just eat less food and exercise more. Take smaller portions, chew thoroughly. And, Dance! Walk! run if you like, just keep moving.

Get a work-out partner who has similiar goals. That way you can keep each other motivated. Diet alone does not generally work to lose weight. With whatever diet you are doing, you want to make sure you are getting enough nutrition (so don t starve yourself). But exercise along with diet is your best bet. If you can t afford a gym membership or don t have access to one, I suggest getting a work-out ball. You can get pretty much a total body work-out without expensive machines. You can also try a supplement, in addition to diet and exercise for added benefit. I suggest Saba with Borojo juice. I personally lost 16 lbs in 3 weeks with it (you can email me at April@SabaBuilder.com for pics/info). Saba Weight-Loss formula combines some of the most effective weight loss ingredients found in nature. Each component has a particular role to aid in weight reduction. Together these seven ingredients deliver a healthy way to shed unwanted pounds. And its core fruit juice component borojo is packed with amino acids that help boost energy levels, a necessary catalyst for effective weight loss.Chromium - Investigation indicates that chromium picolinate may reduce the desire to gobble down carbs and promotes weight loss while building muscle.L-Carnitine - Burns fat and increases energy by releasing energy from fat. It is believed that it may also help build muscle or improve athletic performance.Guarana - Enhances physical and mental performance, while reducing fatigue, promotes weight loss and suppresses appetite.White Tea Polyphenols - Increases thermogenesis, energy and fat metabolism. Good for cardiovascular and cellular protection.Green Tea - Acts as a stimulant to step up the bodys metabolic system. It is a polyphenol resource with potent antioxidant and anti-aging properties.Niacin - One of the B vitamins necessary for proper thyroid function, and a stimulant to the capillaries. It increases circulation, which delivers energy upgrade.Garcinia Combogia - Ability to block the conversion of carbohydrates into fat, suppresses appetite and promotes healthy blood lipid levels. Most important, drink lots of water. Hope this helps.
