How To Lose Weight Fast? -

hey. i m 16 years old, 5 2 (done growing, haven t grown since the beginning of 7th grade) and 145 pounds. i d really like to lose some weight before school starts on september 1st. i d just had a couple quick questions about it...*i ve heard a lot about the South Beach Diet, and i got the book and read it. if i go on phase 1, will i really lose 14 pounds in 2 weeks? what are the typical results? *are there any vitamins or anything that help with weight loss? i m a vegan, so i know that i dont get a lot of the vitamins that i should...*what kinds of exercises should i do? i m on vacation until the august 12th, so all i can do down here is walk or go in the pool. but how far should i walk? or how long should i swim for? also, are there any toning exercises that i can do? *when i get home, i ll have access to a treadmill, elliptical, stair step machine, bike, bowflex and free weights. when i walk in our workout room i just feel overwhelmed. i don t know where to begin. so what should i do? and for how long? *any other weight loss tips? thanks in advance. all answers are appreciated! y all are loved.

You will lose more body fat eating protein and fat (don t eat protein alone) than not eating AT ALL. To lose weight fast eat all you want but nothing but meat, eggs, healthy oils, mayo, butter and half an avocado a day (you ll need added potassium). Keep the calories high and the fat percentage high, at least 65% of calories. Adding in green vegetables some cheese will continue weight loss but at a slower pace.Your body won t release fat stores if you lower calories below what it needs. The more protein you eat the more the fat burning hormone glucagon is released. The more carbohydrate you eat the more the fat storage hormone insulin is released.Simple carbs are addictive and can be disastrous to our health. The best way to break the addiction is NO carbs for 3 days. Make a huge batch of deviled eggs and eat one every time you want something have huge omelets for breakfast, with bacon, a lil onion, peppers, mushrooms cheese. Pork chops for lunch. Get pork rinds and eat them with tuna salad. Steak for dinner. Make a huge sugar free cheese cake for dessert. Eat so much you won t feel deprived of anything. By the fourth day, your addiction will be gone and you can start making healthy choices.High insulin levels promote inflammation, weight gain, hunger and unbalance other hormones. Controlling your insulin level will balance out other hormones allow human growth hormone (HGH) to be produced naturally so you will gain lean muscle even without exercise. Any exercise will greatly increase your muscle mass with high HGH levels.Ground flax seed (2 Tbsp) 1/4 cup of water, cinnamon, artificial sweetener, mix in a raw egg - let sit 10 min to absorb liquid, put some cream cheese in the middle and nuke for 1.5 min. for hot cereal or 2 min. for more of a muffin type thing. Well what I did and I was losing a pound a day(a lil unhealthy) but whatever. I also had a hard time because of work but this seem to not take that long.1.I ate only 1200 cal everyday2. I walked 45 Min s a day(speed walking)3.I did sit ups or squats(50 of them)but do this right after you walk for better result s. Also suck in your tummy when your doing sit up for your abs to be tighter.4.drink tons and tons of water(no soda) It will help you sweat out toxins and help with the water weight.5.Try not to eat foods with lots of salt because it will keep you from losing weight.6.Try lean cuisine because they are low in cal, they are really tasty and good for your on the go life style. I also got the 100 cal packs of chips, cookies and rice cakes for snacks.I lost it real fast that way and I have a real hard time losing weight.Good luck!!

if you decide to sleep in eat before you are hungry because this way your body isn t going to eat at your muscle and lower your metabolism and diet pills don t work and unless you are gonna some how work out and burn calories or do not do protein shakes only a person can handle 4 grams of protein because your artery walls can t take a lot of protein and they will give out over time if you do to much. and two even if you eat protien and don t do something active to burn it off you body will store it as fat. and drink lots of water too. And try and increase the reps and lower the weight if you really want to lose weight because then you will be working on your cardio system as you weight lift and when you warm up get like on a bike or tead mill and run for five minutes if you can get a tread mill run at a speed of 3.5 for five minutes same as a cool down and hopefully you can find a way to keep track of your speed on a bike if not just go for five minutes on a bike but nice and slow it s not suppose to be even a warm up for a cool down also just five minutes on the bike too

I think cutting out soda is the best. You never realize how many calories your drinking.

I ve lost 17lbs in two mths... and the way I did it is by drinking a lot of water (1gallon per day), working out for at least 5x p/w for 45mins and watching what I eat. What motivates me is music, the way my clothes look on me and finding activities such as Cardio Funk, Salsa, Cycling and running... and last and not least my friends and family. The biggest reward to me is when people tell me, Damn, you looking good because you ve lost a lot of weight. I know it s hard to start but once you get started there ain t nothing that s going to stop you! Make your work out FUN, FUN, FUN and carry your IPod w/ good and exciting music that will pump u up... Cutting Soda out is a great idea, but you can wean yourself off by having only one a day drinking water the rest of the day. You can put lemon in your water to help. Stop eating not only fast food, but also packaged foods. Eat more fresh foods do not eat anything atleast 3 hrs before going to bed.

Drink mineral water, no fancy drinks please. Eat healthy (lots of vegetables) and not too much on meat or carbonhydrates. Just take 3 times a meal a day, no chips or sweets. No alcohol.Nothing more, nothing less. This will help you a lot.Oh and don t forget to cook instead of ready meals as they contain a lot of rubbish.

Yep, that s a good one! I would say the best weight loss tip would be moderation in all things . A little of something is good; but alot of it can kill you! That s the way with everything in life actually. And portion control is important. Americans don t even know what a portion is anymore. Stop the sodas (great idea) and processed foods, take a walk each day (30 min.) and you ll be surprised how great you will feel and look!

Drink WATER. Try to get the D.R.A. , about a gallon. I dropped 8lbs in 2 wks and all I did was up my water intake.

i lost 50 lbs. by switching wheat/whole grains for white flour breads/pastas and bake food instead of frying...it s simple enough and works. also saying no to mayo and dressing on the side helps too. there are hundreds of little things that can make a difference.the best tip though is moderation and patience...it should be a lifestyle change.good luck!

what has worked for me, and helped me lose 30 pounds.Ok, walking or some sort of exercise that gets your heart rate up for at least 30 min, 5 times a week. (We all know this)I will admit, I am a diet cola addict. I could drink a 2 liter a day, easily... but once I stopped drinking soda pop (diet and regular) and started drinking green tea and more water (Even the flavored stuff) i lost weight.Also, I stop eating cereal. I ate high protein breakfast, like two boiled eggs, or cottage cheese, or something. I did my best to stay away from ice cream (My total weakness) but I did eat it from time to time but only a small amount. I also stayed away from artificial sweetners, and I use Stevia instead of sweet-n-low for my tea.

Limit your caloric intake to 1500 a day by eating reasonable portions of healthy foods, and exercise more than you have done before starting your diet.

I want to lose some too, but I ll tell you, the greatest success I had was when I lowered my carbs and starting jogging. The weight came off so fast. It was unbelievable.

Hard exercise.... uphill running w/ long strides, swimming (hard, not just floating around), skip rope continuously for 5+ mins, cycling (stationary or not..) for 30 minutes or more..Eating less altogether. Half of what you d normally eat.Good sleep, lots of water.

Just stick to these 2 simple rules1. Only eat when you feel hungry2. My best tip for a bit of new year weight loss would be; Stick at it!Swap sugary/chocolately snacks for fruit. Eat 3 meals a day, thats breaky, lunch n dinner. first meal should be fairly small such as a bowl of bran based cereal and a piece of fruit. Lunch should be a bit bigger, such as a salad with skinned meat and pine nuts, or a wholemeal / brown meat and salad sarnie, packet of light cripsps, piece of fruit and a small yoghurt. Dinner should be a bit bigger than lunch such as boiled/light fry/ grill or oven baked meat or fish with bolied spuds or rice or pasta and boiled or steamed veg. A mid morning and mid aftrnoon snack of a satsuma for each snack. and pudding after dinner should contain fruit, I like bannana split made with light natural yoghurt and mixed raisins. I have tried a new plan..........and i am losing weight....you have to eat half or a quarter what you eat or drink....also after eating don t let it go to your rear......i have been active after i eat plus if your a music fanatic, like me dancing is really good exercise..... plus u don t have to kill urself losing weight....it only takes 15 MINUTES TO EXERCISE!!! eat a big breakfast, i find this stops me wanting to snack between meals, make sure you do eat set meals, breakfast, dinner and tea if you feel like you want a snack have fruit, or soup. the craving for snack only last minutes so keep your mind busy, go for walks. buy a dog or something this will meen you have to go for at least one walk a day and it will give you something to do as one of the main reasons we snack is through boredom not hunger. good luck

Everyone s different, but personally I find it easier to restrict calories earlier in the day than at night. If I eat a light breakfast and lunch (even SlimFast shakes, for example), and then a heavier dinner I ll find myself feeling more satisfied at the end of the day.So, basically my tip is to identify at what point in the day you find it hardest to resist the urge to eat, and eat your most satisfying meal at that point, and then restrict calories at other times of the day when your appetite tends to be lower.Also, try to find satisfying foods that you ll still enjoy that are lower in calories. where you are in my opinion is perfect but if you wont to lose more stop strength training and start cardio. muscle weighs more then fat . Try running and a low carb high protin diet. look in up on the web but if you are a boxer you should be more worried about you strength not how skinny you are
