I am 185 cm and weigh 111 kgs. I want to get to 75 or 80. Will it show and will I look completely different? -

I am on a healthy weight loss plan, a low GI diet and am losing. When II get to 80, will people still recognise me or will I look completely different?

185 cm = 6 2 111 kg = 245 lbs.80 kg = 176 lbs.75 kg = 165 lbs.If you calculate your current BMI that s 31.5. Your target BMI is either 21.2 or 22.6.Will people still recognize you? I think they will, as long as you don t lose too much fat in the face, you will be OK. You WILL look different -- you can t lose 80 pounds (that s a toddler!) and NOT look different....but it will be a POSITIVE difference.Besides, losing weight shouldn t be about whether or not people will recognize you (what, are they blind? did you do plastic surgery to your face or something??) but whether or not you NEED to lose weight (for health reasons) or WANT to lose weight (for your own self-esteem). Whatever you do in life, if it s for the right reasons, then the thing is alright to do. Doing the right thing but for the wrong reason is as bad as doing the wrong thing.Good luck on your weight loss, take it slow and steady, and enjoy!

I definetly agree, having tried the Slim Fast shakes...YUCK!!! : ) What I m doing is Herbalife. They re absolutely the best meal replacement shake, and they taste AWESOME!! With less sugar and calories than Slim Fast and they keep you full, what s not to love? Personally, I love chocolate slimfast. But some people think it is chalky. Just don t try the cappachino..whatever flavor!

My personal favorite is slim fast optima, put some ice cubes in a blender and it comes out pretty palatable...I haven t tried it but what about Ensure?

Has anyone ever been to Curves? -

has any body ever used curves, the womens weight loss program. Does it work and how much does it cost?

I worked there. The weight loss program works, but it is basically low carb diet like adkins or the zone. It is extra on top of the membership. May I suggest that if you join curves, follow either adkins or zone and just take advantage of their weighing and measuring. Good luck. Any questions e-mail me. I was a Curves member a couple years ago. It costed like $80 to get started and it was like $35 a month. If I had went just one week earlier I could have not had to pay the initial fee. They have special offers regularly. I was going to Curves and Weight Watchers and lost about 20 lbs. in the first month and a half. It was like melting off. Then I got pregnant and couldn t do it anymore and I haven t went back. It is awesome. No men - my favorite part!

My godmother went to it and she likes it. It helps out. I think you can do a weekly thing by like going to the meetings and that should help you start out. As for the prices it varies what ur trying to accomplish, I believe!

I would never consider going to Curves because the owner is a major contributor to major over-the-top pro-life groups.

I used to work at Curves. It works well because they use what s called hydraulic resistance (the equipment gives you the proper amount of resistance depending on the speed you use when doing the reps), which tones your body nicely rather than building bulky muscle. It is a type of workout referred to as circuit training, which means you spend about a minute at each station until the music says, change stations now and you go around the circuit three times, which is a total of 30 minutes. Then you do some stretching at the end. The only thing is that the Curves workouts don t include very much cardio, so it is recommended that you supplement them with cardio. If you do cardio vascular workouts (walking, running, etc.) for an hour at least 3 times a week and the Curves workout 3 times a week, then you will see results. (You also need to eat a healthy diet.)

Weight loss help!!!!? -

I m 14, about 5 ft 1,wegith 126 pounds.On a healthy weight loss diet of 3 balanced meals, lots of water and exercise 5 times a week, roughly how long will it take me to lose 25 pounds? Also how many claories should I be hgaving to lose weight? Any tips and/or ideas would be evry much appreciated. thnx xox

ok i hope i can help=) I m 15 5 2 and 115. The trick to becoming fit is this. This is what i do I m going to be in a pageant so i gotta get really fit so DOn t drink any Soda what so evet NONE!!! not even a sip if you drink alot of soda that is very bad your exercising is a waste if you drink soda. Who cares if everyone drinks it you ll feel proud if you havent trust me!! i havent drank soda in 7 months. Also drink alot of water don t snack snak can be just as bad as soda. Jog push your self to your limit don t give up eat watever you like eat just lessen your portions. like if you eat two slices of pizza eat 1. if you can survive without it thats a Plus. Be constant with your excersises do them everyday. if you watch tv excersis during commercials just don t eat while you do them. and most imortantly DOn t even after 8 so that your food can digest you can drink all the water you want by the way. I m concerned that you are 14, 5 1 and wanting to lose 25 pounds. But if you re eating healthy (not just balanced meals, but healthy foods), and are active and drinking water, I really wouldn t worry about counting calories. You re too young for that!

Just eat three balanced meals, exercise for an hour a day and drink water. Don t get obsessed with losing weight, your young and will naturally slim as you go through puberty, you have still got your puppy fat, which you need to go from girl to woman

It really just depends.. how many calories you burn vs how many calories you consume... I ve always heard if you want be 120 lbs.. eat no more than 1200 calories in a day, etc.. hope this helps!!

change your lifestyle for good by eating healthier and working out regularly(always mix cardio toning/resistance exercises) to lose fat safely,thats if you are really serious about losing weight,that way you wont easily gain back all the weight that you lose 4 good ...god bless you

ok, first of all, i know this one chick who is 13, 5 6 and weighs 130 pounds, and she is incredibly skinny, but your situation may differ, ur body structure may be naturally large..........or your bones may be larger. But if your really sure you want to loose weight....and others agree you look a little chubby...and u think your unhealthy, i recamond eating a 1500 diet, full of GOOD foods, and 1% milk. Eat filling foods such a bagels or pasta, which forbid you from getting hungry. I recomend eating 300 calories for your three main meals and having 3 200 calorie snacks. Also you should do a total of 1 hour of excersise daily, and make sure they are cardio excersices. BUT PLZ PLZ PLZ, what ever you do, DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF OR DO ANYTHING THAT WILL COME AT A HEAVY PRICE......life is just too good to throw down the toilet.

Hey..... omg im 13 and firstly i wanna say I d die to be tall like you, I m 5,4 and tallish but your like model tall. Ok well I have checked out every diet in the book cause Im always looking for ways to be skinnier so you can get what ever you need to know from me.Special K : Firstly you need to have a BMI of over 25 for the guarantee to actually apply, and you have a BMI of 20.5 meaing you are of normal weight for your height.... personally i dont listen to BMI cause well it depends on the person cause muscle weighs more than fat so dont trust it that musch.Colder water : Some people believe that the colder the water the more calories youll burn warming it up and therefore it ll spend up your metabolism.... this isnt proven but theres no hurt in trying, i mean its not that much more trouble so you may as well (something i do)Obviously cutting down on stuff like chocolate will give you a better chance of losing weight. Just be careful that you dont starve yourself because once you start you cant stop. Thats something iv fallen into and i wouldnt recommend it to anyone so be careful.Good luck.... and dont worry..... nothings as bad as it seems ;)xoxox

Yes special k works miracles ; ) whatever u do dont starve urself u will only gain weight if u do dat. Eat more balanced meals just try not to eat after 7 pm u will see results within 2 weeks after not eating after 7

it s good that you have been working out 3-4 times a week. During this time you want to do more cardio, by doing muscular exercises or only adding more weight. You also want to burn more calories than you eat. On average, a healthy female should eat 1600 calories a day. Drink lots of water, eat breakfast ( a healthy one) and cut down on the junk foods and processed foods. When you buy food that comes in a can or box, make sure that the fat content and carbohydrate content is absurdly high. It will take awhile, dieting is a lifestyle, it takes time, goodluck

How long have you been doing this workout? It takes about 6 weeks to see significant results.
