Can someone help me plan a healthy weight loss plan? -

im 16 i weight 158-160 (it varies)i want to lose about 18-20 pounds in total so i can be 140. i want to loose the weight at a healthy pace but as soon as possible. can someone tell me about the most effective whole body exercises that will help me lose weight and tone upalso how often should i exercise and for how lon each time?thank you

Try to workout 5 times a week, at least 30 minutes each of these days. This can be anything from jogging on a treadmill to using an eliptical machine or stationary bike. However, you need to combine this workout regimen with a healthy diet. Low fat, high protein. People will tell you to do crunches to trim down on your stomach but this is wrong. There is no way to target fat on one part of your body. Working out a certain muscle only effects the muscle growth and has no impact at all upon the fat in between the muscle and your skin. You need to concentrate on burning calories, not doing exercises that won t really help you. Good luck and be patient with the results as they will not happen overnight.

Theres plenty of things you can do, but first make sure you do not rely on any fad diets or products such as acai berries which will not help you. This website has a lot of information to help you.http://www.healthyweightlosshq.com/

here are some weight loss answers which would help you:http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?http://sg.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind

Oatmeal, lots of water and protien. GO to a gym

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

What Do you Think of the slim fast food and shakes? -

I ve tried this before and seemed to work rather quickly but that was 20 years ago and really don t remember. Would a diet entirely on slim fast shakes (I do remember being in the bathroom a lot from drinking them, the runs) and snacks be the right or best way to lose weight? Although the down fall is it is a rather expensive weight loss program and apparently (I m assuming) not perament. I have been able to maintain 175 lbs before and would like to lose and maintain/stay at the same weight that I reach. Just went from 178 lbs to 175 lbs in the last month, biking and playing some basketball, walk some but don t like walking all that much. I find it more tiring than biking moderately.

I don t think a diet made up entirely of slimfast shakes would be all that healthy. I am no expert, let me say, but I would go to your doctor and have them recommend a diet for you. One with loads of veggies and proteins and exercise 3 times a week and lots of water would be a good start I think.

Try STACK instead. A shake for breakfast, a good lunch; a shake for supper. This system cleanses and nourishes during weight-loss.

try eating the slimfast chocolate bars even though im not on a diet or nothing they are soo good and i eat them after i run becuase it feels me up for like 3 hours so after i work out i dont have to run and just eat everything i see!! they also have other kinds besides chocolate try it!

Anyone tried burn the fat feed the muscle program? -

its a fitness and weight loss program and I want to know if any one has had any success with it? thanks

YES - I love this program! i lost over 58 pounds using it in 18 weeks - and i still have a little way to go. I had tried a few others out there like acai berry, teas, and stuff but none of them worked for me. I found burn the fat from this site http://www.loosebodyfat.thesecret2greatabs.comthere s a really good reveiw on there and some articles - this is the best program I ever bought. Having said that - if you don t do the work you won t get the results, so I did work at it!

I have a copy of it. I have read it. It is the best book on fat loss i ever read.

Acai and Colon Cleanse? -

Ive heard that combining both Acai berry supplements with colon cleanse can aid in a healthy weight loss, obviously by detoxing the body of the crap inside there (literally lol). I dont want responses like talk to your doctor first, blah blah blah has anyone tried it? or one of them?

well ok i wont tell you to ask a doctor first because odds are they will tell you do just do it naturally by eating right and certain foods but since you dont want to hear that i will share my knowledge. Combining supplements can be harmful unless they come together i hear of a lot of people getting sick from doing this. acai has a lot of good reviews and here lately a lot of complaints (just letting you know) taking cleansing pills to loose weight will help but working out while you do it can benefit the results. although either way it will help flatten your stomach. I use nature cleanse and work out and it has made me loose some weight. If you do decide to try one though just take it as directed and know that supplements like these work different with other people. be sure to read up on what you choose and go with one that has good reviews and is well known. if you want to read up on some more of what i take you can go here http://www.nature-cleanse.webs.com But i hope this helps you out and good luck.

Weight loss? Can I lose 20lbs doing this? -

Just cutting calories and going to the gym an hour 6-7days a week. I usually do 30-50 min of cardio. 30 min (2miles usually on the cross trainer) on the days that I do weights. On the days when I just do 30 min of cardio I usually burn 300 calories and the days when I do 50 min (Usually 5-7 miles between the cross trainer and bike) I usually burn 500.When I say cut calories I mean I still eat what I want just in moderation. If I want chocolate I have a piece not an entire candy bar or bag like I used to.I am not looking for fast weight loss just healthy weight loss. I want to know if I will lose weight even with still eating the same foods but just in moderation. My calories are usually 1,500-1,600 a day.Currently I am 5 9, 20yrs old, 180lbs. My goal weight is 160lbs for now. I have a large body frame and the healthy weight range for that is 149-170lbs. So 160 is right in the middle.

Yes it does, very realistic and healthy. For a girl who is 5 9 with a large body frame your weight is a good starting pount because you re still healthy and within a healthy weight range for your height. If you choose to work out daily (which is great! Remember your cardio, very important) do what I do (not because I do it but because its recommended by some of the best selling diet books and fitness books) when weight training and building ab, thigh, and butt muscle alternate between your upper and lower body each day. I.E. Lift weights and do push ups, etc monday and do squats, work abs and butt tuesday. It gives your muscles time to heal in between workouts.I lost 30lbs about a year ago and I have kept it off (170lbs to 140 I m 5 9 medium frame) So I do speak from experience. Good luck!

Good day,Diet is not the only way to lose weight. Exercise is just as, if not more, important to being fit. If you can not stand the idea of going to the gym, there are some fun ways to get exercise that will keep you from getting bored, burn calories and increase fitness on every level. A safe and healthy weight loss is one to two pounds per week. Many people lose even more when they first begin the program and follow it closely. Weight loss results will vary for each individual.

Ofcourse everyone knows that a healthy diet and exercise will help loose weight. And by healthy I mean eating regular food just try smaller portions you dont have to live off lettuce. Good Luck in reachings your goals!

My brother keeps annoying me and wont listen to me mabye hell listen to you!? -

he thinks hes fathes asking me to buy him a 500 dollar weight loss program thingtell him hes not fat but if he is then ill buy it for himweight-135height-5 5 about to be 5 6age-12

What. The. HELL?One: He is NOT fat. Two: He is TWELVE.Three: Weight loss programs never work. Please note the fact that most Americans spend hundreds on diets. What s our average BMI again?

My first reaction to this is that his weight is not the problem. A boy of his age should NOT be worrying about his weight. If a child is over weight at that age it would be the gaurdians responsability to make sure the child eats right and exercises. Anyway, the answer to the ? is no I don t think he is fat. Maybe there is something more going on inside his head that would cause him to be concerned about his weight. I think having someone talk to him would be a good idea. If you buy diet pills for him it is illegal too. Those are for 18 years and older. They would be very VERY bad for a growing child. They might stunt his growth or anything. There not good for adults either.

Hello! Your brother won t lose fat using a weight loss program,so don t waste your money. He is very tall for his age,and so his weight matches his height. We call the fat he has as Puppy Fat .Every young child has this.As he develops muscle around the ages of 16-17, this fat will decrease. If he watches his calory intake, and exercises-runs, swims etc., he won t need a weight-loss program.

in my opinion no because 135 is alright and also if he thinks hes fat then tell him to do pushups3xaday and situps4xaday for about a month and tell him to eat his vegetables fruits and protien which is chicken beef steak... also if you own a house and if you get your parents permission buy a pullup/chinup bar which is like 12-20 bucks and 10 pound weights hope this helps plus he can eat junk sometimes but if he wants a six pack here is a website you should goto bodybuilding.com listen to them too.

That is actually not bad at all. He is almost as tall as me and I am a 14 year old girl and that is how much I want to weigh. I would die for that weight. But you might consider buying the machine if you will use it too because it will help him to not gain weight in the future. So think about it. If you have the money be generous. Make it a bday or xmas present.

He s right in the range for a healthy weight. And if he wants to lose weight, do it the old fashioned way. Just run more and eat better. It s a lot cheaper.

Absolutely not! Even as an adult he would not be considered overweight.Talk to your parents. Have him talk with his gymn teacher, his doctor everybody will tell him that he is not fat. repeat he is not fat.

OH MY GOD!!! That is perfect! NOT FAT!KILL ME IF I AM LYING, AND STOP BIENG STUPID DUDE!!!! You are litterally the perfect size, and those diet things make you lose muscle and you dont want to be really frail and skinny!

i dont think so but i dont no im 12 and only 85 lbbut i am only 5 foot.sorry im no help but dont buy a weight loss program thing for him hes still young and has along time to get into the shape he wants
