Lose weight? please help? -

i am 16 and i gained a bit of weight in the past 2 months. The main reason is because i have been eating junk and overeating. i began to eat meat too. i gained five- seven pounds and i want to lose that weight so that my clothes will fit better what should i do to lose the weight? Should i jump rope? how can i stop overeating and eating junk? weight loss tips? P.S i want to lose the weight in a healthy way

if you wanna loose weight in a healthy way, the key is diet and excercise.try to excercise everyday for at least one hour each day. running, swimming and biking are the best. also try aroebic excercises.you also should eat healthy, resist junk food and other **** like that,......so no fries, burgers, pop, chips, or any junk/ resturant food. eat plenty of vegetables fruits and lean meat. and remember to always read the nutrition lables. you shoud see big results in abouta month. remember not to use planned diets like jenny craig etc...

eat healthy, and go for a run n stay active !

No matter what anyone may tell to lose that much weight in two weeks is unhealthy. Exercise and cut back on what you eat. But don t starve your self. It could cause health problems later. Use common sense,a little at a time in weight lost is healthy, to much lost in weight over a short time can make you sick.

you can loose it. don t listen to the others. But it really depends on how fat you are. Like, I used to be really fat and lost 15lbs in one week, but I was pretty much fasting. You have to do a 1000 calorie diet and work out for at least 30 each day (sometimes twice a day). It s very hard to do, but doable....Good Luck and stick to it.

Ask yourself this..do you really think you can lose 7.5 pounds a week? Even starving yourself won t, and the weight you lose will be mostly water and muscle.

I m 15 years old.I stand at about 5 2.I weigh around 130-140.It fluctuates constantly.My mom was always a curvy girl at my age.Once she hit her twenties she started getting underweight.I don t exactly wanna waste my childhood/teenage yearsbeing at a weight that s uncomfortable for me. well last year i was 16, 5 6 and 240 i lost 100 pounds by completey cutting off soda, using less salt in my foods, drinking green tea, eating just a little healthier. And using the treadmill about 3 times a week ( the secret for me was putting the treadmill on 2.5-3.0 while watch a movie/show on my computer, sometimes i was on it for like 2-3 hours will out even realizing it ( i suggest headphones and an action movie, it pumps your adrenaline up and you end up walking faster). if you want to lose weight you have to be determined . i know when i was trying to lose weight i would exercise daily but i would come home and eat pasta and stuff. you need to get on a healthy diet with no junk food , you might want to exercise with a buddy or someone who knows what they`re doing cause then they can give you some helpful tips and they`ll be able to push you . i know when i work out alone and im running or something and i get tired im like`okay , im done` but when i do it with my friends they push me harder and thats what gets the weight off . dont loose too much cause you still want to remain at a healthy weight best of luck ! : )

I have the same problem as you, and so did my sister at our age. It seems it s harder to lose weight if you are already healthy, than if you were obese and just needed to eat better. At my high school, they offer yoga as a P.E. class. When my sister began the class, within a few months she looked lean and athletic. It boosted her metabolism and helped her loose weight. So you might try that! Adn if your school doesn t offer yoga, you can buy a dvd and do it at home.Good luck!

It sounds like you are already on the right track to be honest, just need to stick with it now. Try to keep clear of red meat and instead have white meat or vegetables. Theres no substitute for fresh fruit and veg, but you might also want to consider soups, smoothies and porridge as great food. Im 15 too and trying to lose weight too, i ve started today in fact hehe.Do 4 sets of 16 sit ups a day.Do 4 sets of 10 squats a day. {Trying doing to music in your room}Do 4 sets of 10 lunges a day.Maybe try running, im gunna try doing that about 15-20 minutes a day or at least 3 times per week.Have 6-7 mini meals a day. Not a big breakfast, lunch and dinner. Small meals like, you have a small breakfast like cereal, then maybe around 10am, you have grapes + a yoghurt.Jogging and running is a good cardio exercise and you can lose weight easily from it, it may take you a good month or two but apparently it s worth it.Dance in your room, dancing is a good fat burner too so i dance to my upbeat songs, even if its just silly movements.I ve suffered, and suffering from depression too and exercise can make you feel better about yourself.So drink water, if you dont like plain water then try flavoured :)Eat healthy small meals.Do the exercises.Draw out a table if you need help, and tick what you need to do and what you have done.Caroline :]

Actually, as long as you exercise, you can eat what ever you want.The book I m reading at the moment, The Ultimate Fit or Fat, will explain to you how to get in shape and stay in shape. PS: Diets wont help because when you stop your diet, the fat comes back.PS: Just exercise by running or jogging 20-30 minutes a day.

Think of eating as a method of nourishing your body; Sure, eat foods that are tasty, but ask yourself if it will provide you nourishment. That, and drink boucous of water. Cutting out really bad foods and drinks (i.e. cokes and processed foods) will make you look and feel better. Try becoming more active also; try sports or fun workouts. Anything to make it more fun and part of your daily routine. Weight loss is a part of a healthy lifestyle, not a once in a while thing. Good luck ^.^

I m a 16 5 4 girl that weighs about 157 pounds. I m looking to lose weight the healthy way fast. I have a dance coming up april 24 and I just want to look a little better. I understand that I won t be able to lose 20 pounds in a few weeks. Do you have any good weight loss tips????Any good exercises that don t require a gym? I currently own a stationary exercise bike (really bad condition, but I can still cycle on it), a jump rope, a good pair of running sneakers and a soccer ball. Any tips? Lose weight tips ?- I feel like I am gaining!!? -

My goal is to lose about 20 lbs. I have been drinking about 3 -4 liters of water a day, with a slimfast shake around lunch or a Special K bar. For dinner, I usually eat normally (like a grilled chicken with veggies), and maybe a small amount of chips. I do about 60 lunges a day. I have not lost anything really. It s great that you re working out and watching what you eat.Remember to drink a lot of water...especially after working out. Also, try not to eat past 6pm.Try other machines besides the treadmill sometimes a little variety does the trick. Good Luck
