What is a healthy weight loss per week? -

Hello, I recently have a had a daughter needless to say i have some extra weight to burn :-) well i have started my working out and eating 5-6 small meals a day as advised from a nutritionist. I am breastfeeding so i really cant go all out on the diet that i would like to (need to keep my calories somwhat up for that). I have only been on this diet for about 2 weeks, First week I lost six pounds and this week ive lost 3 and a half. So my question is is this normal? Or should i be losing more?

No that s completely normal because you have just started your diet but with time it will go down to 1-2 pounds a week :)

Diet plan for a picky eater? -

I got kinda overweight becuase of this medicine I was taking. I gained about 10-15 pounds.I want a weight-loss program (including what to eat and exercises, or just one of the two), but the problem is I am very picky with food. For example the only meat I like is chicken. I LOVE all fruits but, hate veggies/salads.(weird, I know)Is there a program or plan that goes along with what is written above? Thanks

My eating preferences are similar to yours! The main thing i d reccommend is limiting the sweets and make sure you re taking vitamins -- especially if you re not eating all your veggies :)Trim Advantage has some very good meal replacements and snacks that will help if you re too busy to make proper meals on a regular basis. They re available at www.jewel.mychoices.biz All the best.

Can you post more foods that you like?Do you like any of these?OatmealYogurtMilkEggsTunaAny vegetables at all? Even with dip or dressing?

What are some weight loss products that are okay with 18 and younger? -

okay...so what? I ve gain a few pounds.. a little more than a few.. but I just want to know if there something out there.

You gotta LIVE TO GET RIPPED. Become the Alpha. NO CELLULITE. FLAB is BAD. No carbs after 8, no fried food, no refined carbs, low calorie intake, rigorous exercise followed immediately by a whey protein shake (with skim milk -- I use Jay Robb Whey (Chocolate is ******* excellent) bought at Whole Foods). Right after you wake up do 25 push-ups and 10 pull-ups to get your muscles primed, eat Egg Whites and/or Oatmeal and then go running or hit the gym. Combine intense cardio and weightlifting. Exercise is 20%, diet is 80. You gotta roll hard, you gotta roll deep, or you gotta go home.

None are recommended. Diet and exercise are key. Let s face it, if your young and out of shape, you need to rely on only yourself to get back in shape, not some pill. go to the gym and work out, thats the only way you ll keep it off anyways....

drop your carb intake. That is less less or no Bread, pasta, rice, potatoeslook up the net for high carb foods - avoid themlook up low carb foods and stick to them.you will lose weight on a low carb diet.

Special K Diet?? -

has anyone done the special k diet? if so have you lost weight from it? and if not do you know of any other weight loss program that really works?

I did this diet and I lost 3-4 lbs. in a week. I am going to continue doing it so see how much more I can lose...I think it s great and I reccomend it but the only thing I find hard is eating the same stuff for breakfast and lunch and snacks...but then dinner is your choice so it gives you something to look forward to :). Good luck if you chose to do this diet!

I Tried It But I Only Lost Like 3 Pounds :[

I have not tried the Special K diet, but it appears to be a high protein diet and those seem to work pretty well for me.

Proper healthy weight loss? -

hey you guys i just checked my weight after 1 and a half weeks and ive lost two puonds is this healthy

yes! anything over would probably be UNhealthy. you are doing great.

It is healthy if you lost the weight from making changes in your diet. Especially if they are healthy changes that you can maintain long term. If you just lost the weight for no reason, then keep an eye on it, it could be a warning of something else going on.

It depends, maybe it s bcos you might be having too much stress,(work, school),but if not so, then you have to see your docter, in order for you to be rest assured.

Walking 4 miles a day? -

ok, so i usually walk 1 mile a day when coming home from school and i do it carrying a 40 lb backpack. (no back problems so far) anyway, i recently started walking an extra 3 miles at night so in total i have been walking 4 miles a day or more. will this help me lose weight. i have been eating well, not real cutback but still less than before. will this help me lose weight in a decent amount of time? i don t want a quick fix but instead healthy weight loss. thanks.

Hi, Brenna, walking four miles a day will definitely make a difference in your weight if you re cutting back on your food as well. The walking alone won t show a quick change. Walking four 15 minute miles burns approx. 500 calories!! http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.com/card

yes this will help you lose weight gradually, and as you build up your cardio endurance and walking that distance becomes easier, try jogging (obviously without the backpack), as this will burn more calories and more effectively help you lose weightin terms of your diet, you dont have to cutback on everything, just try to be more healthy, and this will definitely help too
