Can People Tell Me How To Lose Weight And Get Beatiful? -

Please, people always call me freckle face and fatso, I try to ignore, but it s just I can t take it any more, I punched someone in the face, but I gopt into trouble.

Cut out ALL of the pop. Drink only water. Watch how much butter and oils you use. Eat fresh things. Like fruit and veggies. You don t necessarily have to diet, just eat better.For beauty; what i do in the shower is i wash my hair like 2 or 3 times. Just to make sure it is clean. Start using whitening mouth wash and tooth paste (you ll have a pretty smile(: ). Take time on your make up and hair. Paint your nails. Pluck your eye brows. For the freckles there s not too much you can really do. use conceler i guess. I use bare mineral for my make up and i love it. Maybe switchin to that will help.Hope some of that helps honey!:) torr.

First you are beautiful. You have to see it within yourself. Losing weight take it one day at a time and remember it will not happen overnight. Do what you can a little at a time if it means stop drinking sodas or at least cut it in half. Try to get your fruits veggies and exercise. Lose weight for yourself and no one else.

okay i m know that i m not like super fat but, i do have a few extra pounds and i would like some advice on how to shed them. i m only a teenager so i can t go to fitness places like bally or anything haha. and i have been excersicing, but sometimes i forget to or feel lazy and since i m only a teen, i can t really choose all of my meals. i do have basketball practice for my jr. high team so i guess i m active almost every day but thats only for about 40 minutes. well i always knew that i was a little bit overweight but my reason for getting things going is so that i can fit properly in a bridesmaid dress for my sister s wedding. i m the youngest in the family and i don t want to have to have the biggest size. thanks for the help! :)

The ONLY way to loose weight in any scenario is to consume few calories than you burn daily. A safe calorie deficit is widely accepted at a ten percent calorie deficit. I know how you feel - many times I just forget to do it and when I remember, I m too lazy to do it. Haha.Which I know it isn t a good thing, but hey, we re teenagers.Anyway, what I started doing, is doing a few stretches.Then turning on my stereo and blasting one of my favorite fast-paced cd s and then do some light workouts, and then some cardio.The music makes it really fun, especially if you can mouth the words as you work out. And what motivates me is when I hear a song about being independent or a really dancey-type song.So you can try that, if you re into that.If so, you can also just jump/dance around for a few minutes, get a drink of water, and start doing it again.Although it may not be AS effective as actual working out, you re moving, which is good because mostly everything you make your body do, you lose calories.So to get in the jist of working out (and having fun doing it), you can do something that s not completely boring.I know, I know. It wasn t amazing advice.But I hope I helped at least a little.

Start running. One of the best things you can do. It doesn t have to be fast, just going for a light paced 30 minute run every day or every other day can help you drop some pounds pretty quickly. It may not be fun, but you really start feeling great after you ve been at it.Of course, the actual exercise is only half the battle. If you stop eating stuff you know if bad for you like chips, soda, and candy, it ll help your progress tremendously. Try to exercise as often as you can. Swimming, jogging, walking, sit ups, push ups, jumping jacks, weights.Another key is to give up all soft drinks IF you do drink them. Hi there - I have researched this topic for c. 20 years and the findings ended up in a book called Why do you overeat? When all you want is to be slim . It s all about cravings - not just sugar - but bread, biscuits, cakes, even picked food.There are three very common medical conditions, Candida, Food Intolerance and Hypoglycaemia, which cause insatiable food cravings. There s no way to actually completely stop suger cravings. I m 28 and I ve had them my whole life. I am a personal trainer in NJ and own my own fitness boot camp in NJ. I worked with a lot of people with the same situation as you. I am sure that I can also help you too. Your goal should be to boost your metabolism. The higher your metabolism, the more calories your body burns through out the day. There are no short cut to weight loss. It requires time, persistence and hard work. If you want to lose weight safely and effectively, I outline some general tips. 1. Exercise (resistance training): Lifting weights can add muscle to your body. Your metabolism is highly correlated with how much muscles that you have. Your muscle is where fat is being burned. Basically, the more muscles that you have, the higher your metabolism, the more calories that you can burn even when you are sleeping. That is why 255-pound bodybuilder can eat more than 5,000 calories a day because of the amount of muscles that they have. They need to eat a lot just to maintain their muscle. This is a very important part of a weight loss program. Here are some exercises that will give you the best bang for your time. Squat, Dead lift, lunges, Military press, Push-up, Bench Press, Lat Pull Down, Pull-up, Row, etc. Focus in multi-joint movement to involve more muscles. The more muscle groups that you can incorporate the better. 2. Aerobic training: One way to boost your metabolism so that you are burning more calories is through interval training. Supportive Eating: Like I said earlier, dieting does not work. What does work? Eating smaller meals through out the day to help boost your metabolism. Eating smaller meals every 3 hours helps fuel your body. Think about it for a second. I am sure that you know someone who eats all the time and yet are lean and you probably know someone who eats very little and yet the person is fat. A person who does not eat a lot (enough to sustain life) can crippled his/her metabolism and end up gaining more weight. . What should you eat? In every meal, you should attempt to eat lean protein, starchy carbs, and fibrous carbs.Lean protein such as chicken, white eggs, turkey, soy, lean meat, fish, tuna, salmon, etc.Starchy carbs such as oatmeal, brown rice, red potatoes, yams, etc.Fibrous carbs such as fruits and vegetables. Exercise, drink water not soda, eat healthy fresh foods like vegetables and lean meat or chicken or fish, and no fried foods, no sugar, try to keep carbs. down. Eat normal portions, not huge ones even if you eat mini-meals through the day. Do not starve yourself because your body will go into starvation mode and you metabolism will get sluggish which will make it harder to lose weight and more likely that you will get super hungry and over eat which will make you gain anything you lost right back.

Don t buy food.

try and eat the best you can, and go on long walks...i mean long walks, it s been proven that its better for you than running.

I was thin until she died because she would watch me like a hawk, and since she is no longer around to watch me, I eat like there is no tomorrow.I want to figure out how to lose weight without someone looking over my shoulder. I used to hate her nagging, but I needed it, and miss my Mom so much.

One of the problems of losing weight is the brain...The brain is very clever and if it thinks you have lost something it will do its best to find it again for you. In the case of losing weight this is the last thing you want. You don t want the brain to slow your metabolism down so that you find your lost weight. What can you do about this? talk about your weight differently. If you are 20 stone and you want to be lighter, start off by telling yourself that you are 19 stone 12 and have gained 2 pounds (this will eventually get your brain to start trying to get rid of the extra for you) Remember though, if you don t believe it, it wont work (your brain is clever). lets face it, it is true...you do have extra pounds, so y do we start talking about losing weight? we are just getting back to normal weight.As to eating like there is no tomorrow......well that is your choice. If you eat too much you will put on weight. You are bound to miss your mum, and maybe you haven t dealt with all the issues of loss yet and that makes it more difficult,. Maybe you think that if you start watching your own weight it s as though you have forgotton your mum. Only you can answer those sorts of things. You know best about yourself. What about if you wrk out how long you would have to walk for or run or swim or something else to work off that bar of chocolate? maybe that way you could work off the calories BEFORE you eat them. If a bar of chocolate is half hour wal then do the walk before you eat it. (You might not want to eat it and spoil all your hard work that way, so you win both ways)Whatever you do, be happy.

Well to be brutally honest there is a psychological factor, and saying that your mom is all that stopped you from gaining weight is an excuse to avoid accepting that you can t stop your own eating. In which case I recommend you first accept yourself (Seeing a counsellor or psychologist is nothing to be ashamed of if it can help you feel better) and then get comfort in the idea your mother loved you and then work to losing weight by trying to eat smaller balanced meals more regularly and possibly going to see a trainer (certified of course) to help you reach your weight lose goals. And maybe a dietician for help with meal planning and such. Sorry if I came on strong I m just trying to help

I did the same after my mum passed, comfort eating, all the bad things are the tastiest because they are full of salt and sugar and your body get s addicted without you knowing. I m doing weight watchers diet it s the only one that works for me, having a daily points allowance and writing down everything you eat will put it into prespective. If you only have say 20 points for the day and a chocolate biscuit is 2 points you will realise how much you are eating and snacking throughout the day without realising. You can do it online it is cheaper than the meetings, or go once get all the start up books and do it alone. Once you get into it and the weight starts to come off it gives you more confidence. I m really sorry to hear about your mom firstly - I imagine you do miss her very much, and I do agree with you that a lot of issues surrounding weight is psychological. It sounds like you may be comfort eating more than anything. The main thing is that you ve realised you re over-eating, and now you can do something about it. I don t think you need anyone to tell you how to eat. Everyone knows that a healthy balance of excercise and smaller food portions is the best way. Try not to miss out meals either. I m sure you have a good idea of which foods are bad for you and which are good. By eating lots of fruit and veg, it should help improve your moods and outlooks on things too. I ve put on about 2 stone myself over the last couple of years, since I met my future husband! - but that s my thing, I always lose weight with unhappiness, and gain when I feel settled and happy! So I have some weight to lose myself!! Keep your chin up -I m certain things will get easier for you in time.Good luck

Of course it has a psychological aspect, it s not called comfort eating for nothing! We need to want to lose weight for ourselves though, someone else nagging is not going to work, my wife tells me that (and yes, I do need to lose weight!), so I am really trying to diet, although she does help (I m not married long, so obviously I try harder).The point remains though, that we are fat because we eat and drink too much, and until we indulge less, we will stay fat or indeed put more on!If only it were that simple in practice!

Breezer - I miss my mom every day. She passed away 3 years ago. I left home back in 1974 and have never lived with my family since..... But I was always a mamma s boy. Anyways, back to the weight situation..... Now that we are on our own we are the ones that need to take control. I say smaller portions.... and snack, if you must, with fruit, raw veggies and water. But, it s the smaller portions that you ll have to get used to. You ll see that after not long you ll get used to it.
