How to lose weight fast? -

Hello, any advise would be greatly appreciated!I am 5 2 and I weigh 139! I really feel uncomfortable with all the weight that i have gained (9lbs)I really need an effective way to lose the weight. I know that dieting and excersie are the answer but I need insperation to lose the weight. what foods should I eat?if I ran a mile, did a 10 min pilate ab video, 50 push ups and 50 lunges 5 days a week would that help me loose the weight?Help!

The best diet ive used is calorie counting making sure the diet is healthy and I dont have to go through hunger pains. As long as you do regular exercise daily that doesnt mean killing yourself running. Then you can lose as much as you want. You need to do cardio type exercises like treadmill... to burn off the calories. That would do the trick and also watch what you eat and the amount you eat per portion.

start cutting your calorie intake by 500 less than what you need in a day. Say its 2000 then eat 1500 but no less than that. Start eating more veggies, fruits, grains, low fat dairy, and some seeds. Eat lean meat and fish more dark leafy green veggies. ANd walk or excersize everyday for about an hour. Drink eight ounzes of water with some fresh squeezed lemons in them and you should loose about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds a week. It takes 3500 calories to burn one pound.

I m a 12 year old boy and I am what you may consider as a helath freak . I almmost never have fried foods and ALWAYS eat healthy foods . The device I give to you is the real deal . First of all , if you are someone who drinks either WHOLE or 2 % milk , get it out of the house !!!!! I recomend 1% or Skim (Fat Free) . I recomend running or fast walking - try to build some muscle while you are at it . Muscle can burn many calories . Stay away from foods with alot of fat and sugar . Make sure you tell your parents to just keep the fatty foods out of the house - if you dont have it , you wont crave for it . Also DO NOT drink Diet ANYTHING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It slows your metabolisim down to almost nothing and can even make you gain weight . DRINK WATER . You DO NOT need to lose that much weight, trust me. A normal weight for someone your age would probably be more around 120. You should eat healthy and excersize but be realistic. You don t want to do any severe dieting because then once you get back to your normal eating schedule you ll gain the weight back. My suggestion is that you cut out dessert like foods from your diet. Have a lot of vegetable. Eat a little under 2000 calories a day. Avoid juice and soda and try to drink only water and milk.Go for walks each day and maybe do a few crunches each day to tone up. You ll probably start to see a difference within a matter of a week without resulting to extreme and unhealthy dieting. You re young and your diet should be very nutritious.

I have to agree with Maria that you need to talk with your parents and a doctor. But if you are going to do this yourself remember these important facts. 1. You did not get where you are in a couple of months, so you will probably be doing this for a while. 2. Drink a glass of water before each meal so you will eat less. Cutting out the sodas(if you drink them) is a big help. You take in ALOT of calories by drinking soda. 3. Get in the mindset that you re not eating to be full, but eating a proper amount for nutrition. There s a big difference between eating to be full and eating for nutrition. Many people that I share this information with don t think of it the way I do. Most people eat to be full. 4. Activity. Be more active. Burn off the calories you take in. It may seem hard at first, but don t give up. You can do anything you set your mind to. The human brain is the most incredible organ in your body. 5. Set reachable or achievable goals and write them on a calender or some place that you can see it everyday. Use it as a reminder of what it is you want to achieve. Even if you don t reach your goal by the time you want (75 pounds in two months is NOT healthy) you can see your progress. Hope this helps.

hey there :) as someone who struggled with my weight sicne i was young it has been a challenge. but do not get discouraged. excersice is very impotant and i have learned that things that get your heart pumping help the best ex. jump roping and running as fast as you can then stopping for a minute then running again.these don t have to be long periods of time even ten min three times a day. also try to choose healthier foods. little changes can make a great outcomes good luck you can do it

First you need to get up and move around. Go for walks and not be so lazy. Excersise is the best along with your diet. Watch what you eat and I don t mean as it goes in your mouth either!! The time of day is very important too, like mornings EAT and at bedtime DON T eat. If you must eat some fruit that you like. Change your habits and rutines. It won t happen over nite, but you ll notice it and when you do you ll like it and want to keep with it!! I speak for example, I ve lost 130 lbs. in 18 mos. and look great! Have a good summer and get out there!!!!! You can do it, you have to try!!!!!

Jessy, you are not going to lose 75 pounds in two months. If you truly want to lose weight, you need to sit down with your doctor and parents to decide on a healthy, age appropriate weight-loss plan. You are too young to attempt this on your own. Good luck.

I lost quite a lot of weight in a few months just from changing my daily routine. If u fit it into ur lifestyle it REALLY can work. I didn t even realise until my clothes stopped fitting me so..DON T EAT MORE THAN 2500 CALORIES PER DAY!1) ABANDON YOUR CAR (if u have 1) chose to walk as much as u can and get as much EXERCISE as possible2) cut back on fatty foods 3) Try the upside down diet where u eat a large meal in the morning, this will sustain u throughout the day while u will burn off the caloriesThen eat something LIGHT for lunch and dinner as u tend to burn off less in the evening4) stick to foods like brown bread/rice - keep u going for longerBut whatever u do, don t starve yourself or cut back on foods that r necessary like carbs. This makes ur body react in a strange way. ur metabolism rate will slow down making u store glucose and u really will get fatter.Oh and good luck :)

hiya, i lost 10pounds in a week.it was hard going but this is what i had in a day,i had the same every day for 1 week.2 weetabix cup of tea no sugar, 3 slices toast marmite glass water ,apple plenty water melon,cup coffee.small mash potatoes.chicken breast in the oven,not fry-ed,as much water in between meals.i had that all week and lost weight10lbs.im still on the diet,but don t need too lose much more weight.i just got use to eating what i ate when i lost the weight.im still losing weight,but not as much.

i know this sounds corny and all but you should diet, you should chose a new life style. basically just eat in moderation. eat more fruits and veggies and dont be stupid and keep track of calories and this and that. just make sure you done eat garbage like candy, and chips and things like that. dont drink soda...u should just exersice like run and what not daily and be active. just dont go throwing up in ur bathroom every morning becuz ur soo desperate to lose weight. kick it old school and do whats better for ur body. u may not see results RIGHT AWAY but it wil catch up with u. dont stress about it. thats the 1 thing u need to keep in mind.

All you need to do is excercise. Dieting takes time. Its not somthing you can put off. Don t go on a certain diet. Excercise 30-60 minutes at least three times a week and maybe every day. My wife was sort of in the same predicament as you. She was just looking to lose a few pounds too, and she seemed to be always on the run. She said the same thing about the heat, and not wanting to go outside. She actually found a really good way to stay at home with the little one and work out, especially her core. always keep a food diary, you will be surprised how much you eat without realising it, have a healthy low fat breakfast, go for a walk, eat a decent dinner, like chicken and veg, never use salt it retains water making you look bloated, and dont eat any carbs after 6 o clock, thats no rice, pasta, potatos, have a salad or soup, i learnt this from a gym owner she is 46 and still has a body to die for, really,

I have been trying to lose weight for the past few months but I haven t had much success. I think I have lost a total of 3 pounds. I am trying to get down to around the 140 area. At the moment I am 245. I have been trying to eat good and my friend and I go walking sometimes. But lately I just can t get myself going. I was wondering if someone could give me some tips and some good eating habits. I just don t feel good about myself and don t want to be around people because of my weight. Please help. Do things that are fun for you.If you like to swim, go swimming for a while, that burns lots of calories.Umm, go walking at least once a day....If you are hungry eat a vegtable you like, that will fill you up.But the main thing is to find something that you enjoy doing that gets you Moving.Maybe you like to dance, thats a good one too.

this is what i do and i lose at least ten pounds a week.if you get hungry, drink at least a liter of water *yes i said a liter of water* and wait 20 minutes. if youre stomache is still growling then its okay to eat food. what i suggest is that you lay of fast foods and ALL kinds of soda. even diet sodas. they dont help. but water drains a lot of fat and its good for you and your heart. ever wonder why dogs are so healthy? its because they dont drink soda. they drink tons of water and (most of the time) they are outside in the sun and they sweat a lot. and they are always running.good luck!

I m going to tell you what has really worked for me and my family. I ve been following the Weight Watcher s Points plan for the last couple of years. I started last spring and by summer I was down about 20 pounds. I started back on the plan about 2 months ago to prepare for my upcoming wedding and I m down another 15. My niece lost 120 lbs. in less than a year. Yes, 120 lbs!! Her father is currently on the plan and has lost 35 lbs. in the last 7 weeks! I ve never been to a Weight Watcher meeting, I just went into a location and bought the points books. You will have to ask them how many points you are allowed each day which is determined by your weight now and some other factors. It really is worth it to look into this program! If you want to lose weight fast no carb is the answer cut out all breads and anything with carbs for two weeks you are going to feel like you want to eat a million loaves of bread after 3 days!!! its crazy but just stick to it for 2 weeks if your strict 10 pounds lost in two weeks is usual, that will give you the motivation to keep dieting now after the two weeks change it to no carbs for breakfast and lunch and then low carb for dinner......so mostly just consume meat for the next two weeks peanuts are a good snack on low carb they fill you up and they are a good carb.....i constantly yo-yo from 150 to 170 from starving and then eating and then i started this and im at a healthy 160 im 5 9 so.....I hope this helps you out.

Hi Babie, I feel for you, I went through the same thing myself and know 1st hand how hard it is. After a very difficult time a few years ago (at age 35) I found myself tipping the scales at well over 200 lbs due to finding comfort in food that I didn t know how to look for anywhere else. I lost 70 lbs in a year by making a personal commitment to God. (Honestly!) I would not put a bite into my mouth without thanking Him for it and I found it very convicting to thank Him for Krispy Kremes or anything that comes from a drive-thru window. I simply cut out all unnatural carbs, fatty meats and I cut out all forms of sugar completely + MADE myself move in some fashion for at least 20 minutes, at least every-other day. The weight melted away steadily over the next year and I have never felt better! Also I do not eat after 9pm because nighttime, when I am alone with my own thoughts seems to be the roughest times for munching. I tried many, MANY diets before to no avail. It truly was the power of prayer that got me through. I highly recommend setting smaller more attainable goals with time lines to set yourself up for VICTORY. I joined weight watchers last march and lost 42 pounds by August. Also, it certainly wouldn t hurt for me to tell you that portion is everything. Instead of eating a whole candy bar, eat half of one, hell, eat HALF of everything you eat and you will never have a weight problem.Drink 8 - 10 glasses of water a day, green tea is very good for your body as an antioxidant and help subtly speed up the metabolism. Salads (without fatty dressings and cheese) are very good for you, chicken is the king of meat in my opinion, as long as you don t fry it. Avoid fast food entirely, and walk anywhere you can as often as possible and get ahold of the 8-10 minute tae bo if you can. Drink diet sodas and juices (aka - cherry coke zero, sobe lean, crystal light, etc.) avoid sugar, switch to the 100 calorie snack packs, including popcorn. Eat apples, they are very filling! Cheese is an unecessary evil as well, so is milk, if you have to have it, drink the fat free kind. 100 calorie popcorn is a great snack. Eat turkey lunchmeat instead of a whole sandwich, etc. Eating is necessary, over eating is not. I also have a meal shake in place of a meal, I find it incredibly helpful at 3:00 in the afternoon.

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won t help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don t eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i m going pretty well if i don t say myself. 90 LBS isn t anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice.
