Thoughts on how to lose weight for my senior trip in june? -

im going to the florida keys in june for my senior trip, im trying to diet but i dont seem to have any will power whats wrong with me? any good diets u recommend ive tried Weight Watchers, South Beach Diet, Cardio diet, no carb diet, american heart association diet, grapefruit diet, and the tuna diet which was by far the worstFat and Confused

There is no one diet that works for everyone and I can t stand the structured ones. The best way to lose weight is to focus on your caloric intake and fat intake. Eating healthy...like chicken breast, salads (low fat dressing only), fruits (but be careful, sugar can turn into fat) is the only diet you need. If you focus on eating around 1200 calories a day and work out, you should get to a healthy weight. You just need to read labels (avoid sugars, sodium and carbohydrates). You can eat plenty so you are not starving yourself and still lose he weight. I know it is hard but once you start seeing results, it s great. Realistically, you should only lose around 1-2 pounds per week. And you HAVE to exercise! Do something fun to get active. I take belly dancing classes at my local park district and its great exercise and FUN! Good luck and hang in there!

Well i really want to lose weight i do exercise i just need tips please do not suggest buying anything as my mum and dad wont actually buy me anything

Try the Lil Jack workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr

We used the Goat hopping method. It pulled over 40lbs off me in 3 months. my gf lost even more. It is a very popular weightloss/exercise method used where I live. It basically is the principle of hopping like a goat to music. which you can do almost anywhere and there is nothing to buy cause yo could use music you already have or the radio.

If you want to lose weight, you need to two things: eat less and exercise more. Weight gain happens when you create a calorie surplus (eat more than you burn). Your body takes the excess calories and converts them to fat which get stored around your stomach, arms and thighs. The longer you remain in a calorie surplus, the more weight you ll gain. To lose that weight, you need to do the opposite. You need to create a calorie deficit (start eating less than you burn). Your first step is to figure out how many calories you burn on a daily basis. This calculator will help you out http://calorieneedscalculator.com The number you get from this tool is what your body burns on a daily basis. To lose weight, simply eat less. It sounds a lot easier than it is but making small changes helps you adjust to a new lifestyle. Don t think of this as a diet, think of it as a new life. Instead of eating foods high in sugars, white flour and saturated fat, go with fruits, vegetables, whole wheats, fish, lean meats, nuts and beans. In addition to eating less, you also need to exercise more. Start off at 1-2 times per week and work your way up to 3-5 times per week.Don t make all of these changes at once or you won t be able to properly adjust to them. Generally, eating healthier foods will decrease your calorie intake. Compare a doughnut to an apple and you ll see that healthy foods are lower in calories. NutriSystem and South Beach worked for my mom. Don t go down the same path as me though...that just landed me in a mental hospital and an obsession with fat.

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-PHYTOLACCA BERRY s Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don t get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results. There is no good diet - it just takes hard work and discipline.1. Get your heart rate up for 30 minutes at least every other day. Jog, bike, whatever.2. Eat 3 decent meals a day. No diet food or junk food. Eat nothing after suppertime. 3. Put no beverage in your mouth other than water. Drink lots.Good luck!

exercise if done to extreme will build muscle and be harder to drop weight so keeping to low impact exercise is a must after the weight is off exercise harder to maintain. lots of water and or unsweetened juices apple and grapefruit are the best to control weight. stay away from fried foods baked or boiled meats only chicken and fish best stay away from starches like rice or potatos wheat bread no more then three slices a day. no less then 7 hours a sleep no more than 8 and no solid foods 2 hours before bed time only lay down when sleeping either sit of stand reclined is not a good position. using a rocking chair is best. clothing should never be tight veggies are your friends eat as many as you wish.sweets are bad always

i eat healthy and exercise..no weight loss. whyY?? what can i do right to help me? i dont like weights or overtly working out at the gym. 40 minutes of jogging or brisk walking is all i like. how can i specifically target thighs, stomach, and arms? i am 16 female

You can choose from bicycling, aerobic dance, swimming, walking, and stepping. Your choice will be decided by your physical condition, your history, your interests and your goals. Switch between 2 or more types of aerobic exercises for an excellent workout. You can also alternate between high impact and low impact aerobics. High impact aerobics are harsh on your body and can cause injury. But when you alternate between the two types of aerobics, your chances of injury and overuse of specific muscles decrease.http://www.weightloz.com/category/Cardio-Exercise-at-Different-Intensities.html

Get a couple of weights and a Cardio ball one of those big ones look up ball exercises there are lots Im a guy and do some myself, my GF does lots of these exercises you can find them alll over the internet, experiment find the ones that you like and you can do this all in the comfort of your own home but do them at least 3 times a week and for at least 45 mins thats the exercises and continue with your cardio and have fun with it or do it with a friend or family member if you want motivation

16 huh... if you like to dance, I suggest turning your favorite music on and get with it. that should do you good. in all the areas you need. If your all alone you can try out all those moves you ve seen others do but never dared to try. Dancing makes if feel like your having fun instead of working out....

I am 13 years old and I weigh 149 pds. I was wanting some suggestions on how to lose weight.? -

I would really like to get down to about 130 pounds before fall. If you have any suggestions on how I could lose at least 15 pounds before fall, I would really appreaciate them.

NO MORE SUGAR SODA....Stop that and lose 20lbs in a few months.

Cut out all carbs for a few weeks. No bread, potatoes, corn, rice, cereal, pasta, fruit, tomatoes, beans (except green beans) and peas. Lots of meat and green vegs. Drink 8 glasses of water a day. No fruit juice or soda. Walk every day

Exercise and get out of the house. Start doing activity. Play sports. Run. Eat less and eat a well balanced meal. Stop snacking, eating sugary foods, and begin eating more healthier stuff. I drink lots of water too and less sodas. I eat lots of salads and i don t eat out much and if I do I eat healthy stuff.Used to weight 160 and was getting fatter everyday back in my teens. I had to change my ways. Now I am around 135. Also some medications affects your weight. I had to take a drug that started making me hungry and I had gained weight off that. I stopped it after I realized it wasn t helping me.

In order to lose weight, exercise and eating habits go hand in hand.As far as exercise, you need to start by being more active. Lifting weights is okay, but you would get more out of low weights and aerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise includes using a bike, walking on a treadmill, swimming, or taking an aerobics class. As compared to lifting weights, these types of activities are less strenuous on your joints. The main goal of doing these exercises is to increase your metabolism. If you decide to do some weights, a great exercise are squats. When doing squats, you are actually using the biggest muscles in your body. These are your quadricep muscles in your legs. Exercising these muscles will burn a lot of calories. As far as diet, never ever skip meals. If you skip a meal, the body subconsciously thinks that there is a food shortage, that when you do eat, it will purposely hold and store calories for the next time it thinks there is a shortage of food. What you should do is eat smaller quantities more frequently. For example, have a big breakfast to start off the day. This is where you will get most of your energy from. If you have to, you can have a small snack in between breakfast and lunch, such as an apple or orange. Your lunch meal should be smaller than the breakfast meal, and again, you can have a snack in between lunch and dinner. Now dinner should be your smallest meal of the day. Think about it. Why would you load up on a lot of calories at the end of the day, when you re about to go to sleep? You do not expend extra calories for sleeping! In fact, your metabolism slows down while you are asleep. Remember, eat to live, not live to eat.If you can modify your lifestyle and your diet, you will see some changes. I hope this helps. Just to let you know, this is just a guideline. If you start to exercise with weights, I seriously recommend to meet with a trainer to make sure your body mechanics are fine. It s very easy to pull a muscle or hurt a joint. Also, just watch what you eat. No more junk food or fast food.

Wow, 13 and worrying about dieting. Just be who God meant you to be, whether it is someone needing to lose 15 lbs or someone needing to gain 15 lbs. 13 is to young to start thinking like that, go play kickball and you will not have to think about such things.

have you parents take you to a dietitian, they will work up a sensible diet for you.

hey hun, your only 13, your young and your body is still developing. Don t go on a diet, they work for awhile but then you usually gain all the weight back.. what you should do is try to develop a new healthy life style!for examplea couple of times a week do some excersize 2-3 times a week for like 20 minalso eat until ur satisfied .. you don t have to finish all the food on your plate.you could eat whatever you want but try to limit yourself when it comes to carbs.Don t drink while you eat. drinking fills you up but it goes away quickly when you go to the bathroom then u get hungry again... try to stay away from soda.. they re not only fattning but they are bad for you because they have soo much caffenine which is really bad.eat a lot of fruits and veggies and drink a glass of water before every meal.. it ll fill you up.. DO NOT go on any diet pills, they are super bad.. they might work on some people but when they stop takin the pills they gain all the weight back plus more they are just not healthy ..but anyways.. good luck i hope i helpedand remember.. don t let anyone put you down because of your weight! your still really young, enjoy life!

When my son was 15, he was 6 3 and weighed 280#. He dropped 40# by working.

Drink plenty of water eat fruit and vegetables keep awayfrom the sugary snacks take plenty of exercise and you will be fit and healthy in no time.

If you have a free schedule, you can try pilates or yoga. Thats a fun thing to do over the summer, it strengthens your core muscles, while helping you tone and shape your body. It also gives you flexibility, balance, and self discipline. If you don t want to do pilates, try walking/jogging/running a mile or two a day. Walk somewhere, get a bottle of water, walk back, and regualrly do situps or crunches. Eat healthy - salads, meats, and vegitables. Try avoiding snack foods - but they re good once in a while. :]Worked for me. :)

Get active! The summer is coming up you are thirteen, ride your bike (if you have one), go for walks, think about trying out some sports) Its not hard get out the house you will feel alot better too.

How to lose weight................................? -

how do i lose 11lbs in 2 weeks... i need some good tips

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

To exercise after meals.Twelve volunteers were fed the same breakfast. An hour later, half of them worked out for an hour on an exercise bike while the other half sat quietly. Both groups were left for another hour and then allowed to eat as much as they liked. Unsurprisingly, people who exercised burned more calories than those who sat quietly, 492 kcal compared to 197 kcal. But our research shows that exercise may alter people s appetite to help them lose weight and prevent further weight gain as part of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.

First of all, that may be an unrealistic goal. I can understand it if it s for a special occasion and you re under time pressure, but generally it s not recommended to lose more than 1-2lbs per week if you re looking for lasting, long-term results.Having said that, what you could do is try combining cardio exercise with strength/weight training, and going on a raw food detox diet. Which means giving up ANY processed foods, concentrating chiefly on raw fruit/veggies and cutting out as much salt, sugar and other crap as possible: http://www.detoxtheworld.com/books-the-r Another good diet for that purpose would be the paleolithic diet, which basically emphasizes eating only naturally occurring foods: http://www.earth360.com/diet_paleodiet_bFrom personal experience of friends as well as what I ve read, I would really, really urge you to stay away from any diet pills, laxatives etc to speed up your weight loss. I hope this helps!

i lost a lot of weight and now im considered normal, but i have alil belly day mostly skin, cause i lost so much weight...ANY ADVISE?

In time your skin will shrink and adjust to your new frame. Give it time. If it is a substantial amount of skin hanging on your belly then maybe you can talk to a cosmetic surgeon and have it surgically removed.

Congratulations on losing so much weight, I hope you feel good about yourself now - it s an amazing thing to lose weight. (:Well, the only way really to get rid of loose skin is surgery, and I worked as a receptionist for a cosmetic surgery clinic in Melbourne, it s quite a pricey thing to do.Other than that try pilates (they work on the abdominal muscles) and the basic sit ups etc.If you are considering surgery call The Ashley Center (if you live near Melbourne, Australia). They re a trustworthy and reliable clinic.Hope that helped x
