How to lose weight about 20 pounds..? -

Okay, im 14 and i weigh 135. I really wanna get skinner,and achieve a six pack. But not like a rock hard one like boy s get.lol. but for real i wanna get a good body. but the only thing is my stomach area my ribs stick out. im not skinny, so its not like anorexic stick out. its like they just stick out. I dont know what to do anymore. :[

If you lost 20 pounds now, depending on your height, you could actually be UNDERweight, which can be just as unhealthy as OVERweight. I weighed 130 when I was 14, and maintained that weight for the next 4 years...I had a good figure at 5 3 . Women these days think that skinny is good. But skinny women have no curves, it s just not normal to look like a stick. Don t give in to the present trends and social beliefs, because they change constantly. Do what s healthy, not fashionable. You ll be better off in the long run.Remember, it s your opinion of yourself that matters most, not what others think of you. Stand your ground, prove em all wrong. Then when you still look great years later and they look stressed from having fluctuated with the ups and downs of trends, you can feel even better about yourself.You re still growing...give your body time to grow into all its parts, everything will balance out in a couple years. When you reach 16-18 though, watch what you eat very carefully, because as we age, it gets harder and harder to lose weight. Right now, I don t think you have anything to worry about.

I dont think you need to loose 20# if your ribs are sticking out now!Exercise more to get toned.

don t lose weight... 135 is NOT fat! I would, however get into Pilates or something like that in order to get that toned body you are looking for

by the way you describe your body you already have a small frame and you probalby just need to tone up a little bit just walk some more with some small weights and drink lots of water and eat health like lots of green veggies eat lean chicken and turkey and you will be just fine

i really need to lose like 30 pounds. I m not overweight, but still fat. Can anyone help me? Not only do i need to lose the pounds but also within 3 months, if not just quickely! does eating baked chicken breasts and white rice for a week reall work? chicken breasts are great for you but DONT eat white rice, eat BROWN rice or if possible avoid rice all together. Substitute some veggies instead. You want to avoid white (bread, pasta, potatoes, etc) look for colors (fruits and veggies, brown rice, wheat pasta, sweet potatoes, etc) You really just have to think of what you eat and how much you are working out. If you are consuming more calories than you are burning you need to try to do something different, eat less calories, or work out more... GOOD LUCK!

Shut your mouth and move your feet. The body looses weight by using more calories than it consumes. And eat often. Low calorie snacks like carrots, celery, 100% grain bread, low fat cheese. Stay away from High Fructose Corn Syrup and transfats. Cut full calorie sodas and switch to Coke zero. Or Iced Tea with Splenda. Also muscle may weigh more than fat but it does burn calories 3 times as fast as well. Don t worry about the bathroom scale so much. It doesn t matter if you weight 250lbs, if you look like you weigh 125lbs.The only way to loose that much weight FAST! is to cut off a limb, but I bet you need those.

im sorry i wish i could help, i need to lose like 45 pounds and im trying to do it as quickly as possible, therefore its not the healthy way, so i feel obligated to tell you not to crash diet, or starve yourself. you will just gain it all back and then some. all i can say to you is cut out pop if your from the north or soda from the south. stop eating junk food. eat healthier portions, eat fruits and veggies and remember that a serving of meat should be the size of your palm. eat smaller meals and spread them out over 6 meals a day. dont eat after 7 pm. drink water!!!! i think your supposed to eat either 1000 cal. or 1200 cal. a day, im not sure whats considered healthy. good luck and be smart about any choice you make

To lose that weight I would suggest a raw food diet. BUT if you stay 100% on raw and do this, you will experience withdrawal symptoms from cooked food.Raw food will not only help you lose that weight, you will lose fluid retention and your whole body will look much firmer and just glowing. If your dedicated enough i would say doing forms of cardio would help after weight training... try jump roping, you can burn up to 20 cal. a min. depending on how hard you train

I need to kno how to lose weight? -

I m 18 and i weight 155pounds and i m trying to get to 115-120 or to my stomach being flat by July. The problem i m only fat from the stomach like i got a gutt, the rest of my body is skinny. I eat everything chips like basically junk food, and i drink a lot of soda. I started to do 150 sit ups day and nite is that going to help me if i do it everyday. I need to know what should I eat, wat exercise to do?

You need to eat a reduced calorie, well-balanced diet.Situps are nice, but they do not burn the fat on the stomach. It might tone up the muscles, but no one will ever see them. You need to do cardio to burn fat. Get out and run! Or, walk. Just get 30 minutes, 3 times a week.Oh, and stop drinking the pop. If you can reduce your calorie intake by 500 calories per day, you will lose a pound. That s about 3 cans of Coke. Switch that to water, and you will see results.

well currenly i am trying to drop 30-40 pounds by summertime.I am short.Like 5 1and I weighed 147I now weigh 140and have been on Meridia for 3 days fully.I ve had no side affects thus far. it seems to be working pretty well due to already losing 7 pounds.This is also without doing any physical activity thus far although I do plan too.

I applaud your motivation to want to lose some weight. However, you have to remember that losing weight isn t a 1 week thing. It takes time. The situps will definitely help your stomach but don t overdo it. Just try to be constant. Also, you have to stop eating chips and drinking too much soda. Fruits, vegetables and juice will be better. Hope you reach your goal.

exercise, but first you should warm up, stretchings before exercise.. avoid sweet foods, such as chocolates etc.. eat vegetables, sunc as carrots, brocolli , cauli flower etc...most of all discipline yourself ok...or may try out door sports with your friends like mountain biking.. its good form of loosing weight, trust me.. like me i loose weight by 20lbs

If you HAVE to lose quickly, carbs store in your body differently that protein does. Carbs need water where protein does not, so if you cut them out, you will lose the water weight. This is the logic behind the Atkins diet. HOWEVER, I wouldn t recommend killing yourself to lose fast. In my opinion, diets do not work because the probability of not sticking to it and gaining it all back is high. Instead, if it is that important to you, make it a LIFE STYLE change. It seems that you are doing well already. What is the big rush? Don t pay for anything unless it is a trainer (which is expensive but worth it), just work hard. Remember, it takes time for you to see results so stay determined!

Just keep on doing what you are doing. Stay away from sugars but fast is not always best most people that loose weight to fast end up rebounding and adding back the weight plus a little more.

Do a few pushups randomly through the day. I don t know how old you are, but 140 doesn t sound that bad. If you are in High School, then I wouldn t worry about it.I am obese. 220 lbs. People used to make fun of me. They can t anymore though, I made a joke out of my fat. Every so often people will tell me to do Cookie Monster which is a character I created with my belly. Try to make fun of your own weight, and people feel like them bothering you about does nothing so they will stop.

Ok, I know HOW to lose weight, but it just really isn t working. I work out about an hour to an hour and half a day, usually swimming, trampoline, jogging, walking or tennis. I eat right, I have been eating three smalls meals a day. (foods low in calories and fat, and that are nutricious) I have been doing this for almost 4 weeks, and all that happened is I gained a pound and a half. What the heck??? WII FIT is fun and a great way to get fit and as you are 14 you could get your mates to play it with you. All you need to do is do a few hours a day and then before you no it you will be loseing weight.but dont just give up after a week if it doesnt work besause it may take time to lose some weightHope This Helps

Try going on walks after lunch and dinner. I don t like to run, but I walk every day after lunch at work. I work at a large office plex so after eating, I put my sneakers and workout clothes on and I will just go up and downstairs a few times and then walk around outside for awhile and enjoy the beautiful scenery. After work, I walk around the neighborhood. Spiritually, it always releases the negativity and keeps me clear. Physically, it keeps you in shape as well. Dieting is difficult. I d say eat what you want (within reason!) and take on some exercise regularly and those pounds should come off. Good luck.

I have the same goal! 3I could give you my diet plan if you want?Just an idea:Breakfast;3/4 cup of special k(any flavor)1/2 cup of low fat silka few pieces of melon or starwberries*DON T HAVE FRUIT AFTER NOON*Eat a few vegetables or a special k bar or luna bar 2 hours later.Lunch;Spinach salad with almonds and light italian dressingOREgg white cut into two pieces on two kashi crackers with asparagusSnack; More veggiesor 1/4 cup of plain tuna on special k crackersDinner;Japanese noodles(you can buy fresh in the organic section)with snapped peas and squash in a little soy sauce(eat about a cup)Snack;Special k or luna bar or quakesDrink AT LEAST 64ounces of water. Which is 8 glasses/2 liters.I work out EVERYDAY for 45 mins. ON THE TREADMILL.So if you go outside and walk for that amount(speed) it should work.I do crunches/sit ups/leg lifts. And it is REALLY working. NO FRIED/FAST FOOD/NO MAYO/NO BEEF/NO SUGARY SWEETS!

steamed foods like chicken and rice with lots of water no pop. take away the pop and you will lose 5 pounds right away.

I went on a fruit diet for a month and lost 10 pounds, it s a pretty good diet for me

stay away from any WHITE foods. (bread, rice, potatoes..) lay off the carbs! and exercise.
