Best way to increase metabolism? -

Hey, I am 17 years old, 5 6, and I weigh 154 pounds. I m going to Europe in 45 days and I d like to lose 30 pounds by then. I m not going to crash diet or anything, I m going to exercise more and eat healthier and all that good stuff. I m also going to try to drink at least 70 ounces of water everyday. Is there something I can do, like in the morning, to kick-start my metabolism? Thanks. Also, any other weight loss tips would be great =].

Something that I read that was a pretty good tip is to try to have a big breakfast and then have lil meals throughout the day. After about 6 or 7 stop eat heavy carbs like bread and such. This way your metabolism is always working. I m trying this lil meal thing and I feel so much better not eating amounts of food all at once. If you think thats not going work I would try to make dinner your smallest meal of the day.

Good weight loss tips for a 19 year old girl that is borderline diabetic? -

i found out yesterday that i am borderline diabetic, my doctor said even 10-15 lbs might help. i have been working out and watching what i eat for months anyways because i know i am overweight. it just doesnt seem to be working. does anyone have any ideas?

Go outside and play soccer with a friend, ride your bike, take a walk with a friend, start out slow and work your way up. none of the weight loss pills are actually safe!!! my friends had some luck with hydroxycut if you really want to try it that way. But I say that is way to much weight to lose in way to short of time! You need to make sure your body is healthy or you can cause it other problems. Make sure you are eating right and excercising. I like Taebo. Just please rethink losing so much weight so fast it can be really bad for you.

Theres no quick fix and unfortunately it is all but impossible to lose 15 pounds in a month. You need to start a slow and steady life change including healthy eating, smaller portions and some exercise. You may get to see about 5 pounds by the end of the month but you should be committed to keeping a healthy lifestyle regardless of what event is coming up.

I don t think you CAN lose 15 in 30 days realistically. You can lose 5-7 maybe, depending on your age and metabolism, by cutting down on carbs esp white carbs, and eating more lean protein, fruit and veggies. And drink lots of water too! Oh, and exercise at least 30 minutes at least 3x a week.

It is unhealthy to lose more than several pounds a week. Losing 15 pounds in less than a month is not healthy weightloss. First off get your diet in check! Eat more veggies, drink more water, cut out sweets and processed junk in your diet. Walk at least 15 minutes a day, exercise! A good healthy diet will result in a healthy mind, body and soul. diets don t work b/c once you stop it, you ll gain the weight back. a lifestyle change is better. don t go on a strict diet. figure out how many calories you should be eating for your gender/activity level (the more active you are, the more calories are needed to function). track your calories everyday in a journal or on sparkpeople.com. start working out and being active. you can t get rid of stretch marks. they will only fade over time, but there is no way to get rid of stretch marks. creams don t work. if they did, nobody would have stretch marks.see a dermatologist

Using cocoa butter on the stretch marks will reduce them. It worked on me very well. As for losing weight, just stay away from sugars and eat healthy and exersize. It always does the trick!I use herbal essances when I shampoo/condition my hair and it works so well.
