Fast but Healthy Weight Loss? -

I m a very athletic 16 years old, i m 5 foot 4 1/2 and i weigh 138 but i m looking to lose 10-20 pounds in about a month...is this realistic, or possible rather? What do i need to do besides drinking a ton of water and staying active to achieve this goal? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!I was also wondering about milk, does it help with weight loss as much as people say it does?

A healthy option for you might be the cabbage soup diet with added protein. You can lose up to ten pounds within a week and with the added protein you make sure to melt your fat instead of muscle mass.Be sure to choose the newer plan with allowed protein shakes to maintain your athletic body - and keep your fitness exercises.

If you really serious to reduce your weight, I suggest you to use the No 1 and best product in the world it is called Usana. These product can reduce your weight in a week without side effect. Furthermore, it is no toksid, drug or anything else. The price is RM499 only. You also can purchase online but you need to register at this link:http://ap-shop.usana.com/shop/jsp/onlineAfter you try and it is work, you can help and promote this product to your friend with the same problem like you.You not only helping them but also can make extra income.

Three steps that have really helped me are dieting, exercising, and the correct weight loss supplement for losing weight. Focus on those three things and you will lose weight considerably. I exercise 30 mins a day along with taking Proactol, a natural weight loss supplement that I saved money on at theweightlossplace.com Good luck and stay focused = )

try Michael Thurmonds 6 Week Body Makeover. Its great! I lost 7 lbs in the first week.

10-20 pounds is way too much to lose healthily in a month, and to be honest, too much for a healthy active 16 year old girl in general. A safe rate of fat loss is 1-2 lbs a week. Your weight seems pretty appropriate. If you want to lose a few pounds, I would suggest doing a few HEALTHY simple things like avoiding processed foods and focusing on filling up on fruits and veggies. My basic rules for healthy eating are no white flour, white sugar, hydrogenated oils, high fructose corn syrup, and fried foods. As far as milk goes, it is really great for you but it doesn t appear to help with fat loss as much as it was once thought. Good luck and love the skin you re in!New note: Please avoid Ahmad s answer. Taking something is always a bad idea, and almost never produces results

It s realistic, and you need a healthy diet and a strict workout. I suggest trying to go up and over expectations and try a boot camp like workout. I dont know about milk im lactose in tolerant

Are there any special diettary needs for some one who has had their gall blader removed? -

when i was younger i was very heavy about 240 lbs. after going to a weight loss program i losst a lot of weight i dropped to about 170-165 then i started to have some very intence pains i found out that i had gall blader stones and my gall blader was removed after that weight became harder and harder to loose. since then i have meet several women who have had the same problem with their wight and their gall blader being removed. we were wondering if there should be some sort of special diet that we need to be on?

Yes without a gall bladder your ability to process fats is reduced and a low fat diet is recommended

What can I do to lose weight, and get thinner? -

Okay, so I m starting to cut down on eating/drinking things with lots of fat and carbohydrates and stuff like that, and I do PE every school day for about 45 minutes. I walk about 2.5-3 kilometers home from school around 3 days a week, and I usually go skating or swimming on the weekends, and I go swimming once a week after school. I m going to continue to eat healthy and exercise. Any other things on how to lose weight, and make my stomach thinner as well? Not super skinny, but thinner. And please no diets or weight loss programs, or stuff like that. Thanks in advance!!! :)

It seems simple, but if you just eliminate all refined sugar/corn syrup from your diet you will lose weight. You d be surprised at how difficult it is to find things without it!

Drink and eat only water. I did for a month and I am 110 pounds.

What You Need to Know About Caralluma FimbriataCaralluma fimbriata is a succulent plant, in the cactus family, that has been used as a natural appetite suppressant in India for centuries. It s a new arrival in the family of cactii and succulent plants that are becoming increasingly popular for their appetite suppressant, and weight loss properties, as well as their ability to lower blood sugar. Supplements made from the popular hoodia gordonii cactus from the Kalahari Desert in Africa, are, for example, growing in popularity and usage in the U.S. and Europe.Like hoodia, caralluma fimbriata has been used to suppress appetite, and as a portable food for hunting. It is used to suppress hunger and appetite, and enhance endurance throughout India. It is also sometimes considered a famine food, used during periods of famine to suppress appetite. For centuries, people in rural areas of India have eaten Caralluma fimbriata, which grows wild over various parts of the country. Caralluma fimbriata is cooked as a vegetable, used in preserves like chutneys and pickles, or eaten raw. Caralluma fimbriata is believed to block the activity of several enzymes, which then blocks the formation of fat, forcing fat reserves to be burned. Caralluma fimbriata is also believed to have an effect on the appetite control mechanism of the brain. Ayurvedic (traditional Indian medicine) experts have noted that there are no adverse effects when using Caralluma fimbriata, and the plant has no known toxicity. A patented, tested extract of Caralluma fimbriata has been developed and standardized by a company called Gencor. Known as Slimaluma, the extract delivers the plant in a concentrated form. One of the only products available in the U.S. that uses the Slimaluma formula is Country Life s GenaSlim supplement, which combines the patented Slimaluma extract of Caralluma fimbriata with EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) from green tea. Together they reportedly have a synergistic effect on appetite control and weight loss. In several clinical trials Slimaluma was shown to be effective in reducing body fat through appetite control. If you re interested in trying this product for weight control, you can compare prices now from various online vendors.SourcesKhan B, et. al. The pattern for losing weight is easy - consume less food and workout more often - the problems arise when we in reality try to put that into operation! There are plenty of opportunities to fail in the real world aren t there?! Loosing the weight? -

please help I am 51 with several but not critical health issues, one of which arthiritis in my knees, eventually knee replacement. however, I am also obese, I weight 308 lbs about5/5 i searching for some kind weight loss program, that s inexpensive, (not jenny craig, or nutrisystem etc) I can t workout to much because of knees, and walking is minimum for now, so i was wondering what you folks have heard about or tried that has worked .Thank you

Try cutting back on the calories... perhaps ditching regular soft drinks for diet ones and replacing table sugar with Splenda - particularly in tea and coffee. I also like the one treat a day rule... it allows you to maintain your sanity while getting your eating plan in order. Plan a healthy, balanced diet and then allow one small not-so-healthy item a day (one cookie, glass of wine, or fried item, etc.), but only one and only in small portions. (With moderate exercise, I lost 40 pounds this way.)As for exercise, perhaps a recumbent exercise bike? They re easy on the knees and the back. Or a class that happens in a swimming pool - they re easy on the knees because the water takes away any pounding you d get in a regular exercise class. Also you don t realize you re sweating because the water keeps you cool. But they re definitely still a workout. With either, start slow and build up or you might injure yourself and have to quit. Also, see a physical therapist about those knees; perhaps some specific exercises or massage techniques can help.
