Anyone having success with using the new FDA approved......? -

diet pill Alli ? Can you please share your experiences on whether its a positive apprach to weight loss ?? Started a fitness / diet program and considering trying the Alli weight loss program . Thanks for your answers !

This does really work. I had the perscription of this (Xenical) which is twice the dosage of Alli. A year ago when I was taking this a friend of mine said she saw on the news that they were going to put it over-the-counter, but half the dose. I can t believe it actually happened! ...Anyway, this pill will make you go to the bathroom and this greasy liquid will come out. It looks like the grease on a pizza. It s gross and it smells wierd, but it does work. Now, it s not a miracle pill, so you still have to lower you fat intake. You can t just eat whatever you want and hope to poop it out. What comes out is fat. This pill gets rid of 10% of the fat you eat in one day. My suggestion..watch out! If you feel the need to fart, go to the bathroom because it could be the grease coming out and you don t want that! If you don t lower your fat intake while on this, you will gain the weight back when you stop taking it. It happened to me. I was told that I needed to lower my calorie intake to about 1200 calories a day in order to lose weight while on this pill. I lost 20 pounds within a few months, but gained it back when I stopped taking them because I didn t stick to the diet . The pills were extremely expensive and I could no longer afford them. I d say it s a great quick-fix for maybe 10 to 15 pounds, but if you need to lose a lot, you need to change your eating habbits while on it, and keep them when off it. Also it is recommended that you take a multivitamin while on this because along with the fat, you also lose nutrients. But you can t take the multivitamin whith the pill; it has to be several hours before or after. ...If you are really interested in losing weight, something that I d recommend would be Weight Watchers. I joined Weight Watchers after a friend from work told me about it and have been on it for about five months now and have lost just over thrity pounds! You eat normal food, just lower fat and rational portions. I love it! Not to mention this program works with you and is perminent! I hope I ve been some kind of help. If you have any questions you can e-mail me.

Glad I could help! Yeah, those side effects are not fun!I do however, highly recommend Weight Watchers. Good luck on your journey to weight loss and don t give up! Report Abuse

It is the over-the-counter version of a medicine called Xenical. It blocks fat from being absorbed. If you start it, start a good multi-vitamin (e.g., Centrum) because the medicine can block the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins (vitamins A,D,E, and K). When taking the medicine, don t be surprised if you have abdominal cramping, oily stools, diarrhea. You can prevent some of that by eating a low-fat/no-fat diet. Much like other diet pills , it works best with a fitness and diet program. It is not a magic pill.

Are theyre any healthy weight loss pills out there that actually work? -

I workout about 4 times a week and i was just wondering if there are any safe weight loss supplements that can help me along. Im just afraid because i know that some are dangerous and i care about my health.

Diet Pills can help you to speed the process and it needs to combine with a realistic weight loss plan. With these, you will be able to achieve your ideal weight sooner. The effective way to lose weight without worrying much about negative side effects is adhering to the intake of natural or organic weight loss supplements. In addition, it is important that before you get ready to shed off those extra pounds in your body with weight loss drugs, make sure that you buy diet pills from genuine dealers. Some good choice of diet pills will be Proactol, Phentermine, Hoodia and ChitosanAs for more advice on the diet pills, you should get the details for the article http://ezinearticles.com/?Rediscover-The

Whenever you are trying to lose weight, you should concentrate on these three things which all work together in providing a healthier and quicker weight loss goal for yourself. I have found this combination really successful in my weight loss plans. The first thing is exercising and how much you can put forth into it. The more you exercise, the more results you will see. The next thing is dieting and the calorie intake. If you exercise more, technically you could eat more? Always watch what you eat.Now the last step in a good weight loss plan is always a good diet pill that can help you get to the end of the road. I have found Proactol which is a natural herbal diet pill to be the best around. It s an appetite suppressant along with being a fat blocker which stops up to 28% of fat you eat. Read up about it at TheWeightLossPlace.com where I saved money on it. Proactol really works well with exercising which gives you plenty of energy to perform. Along with that you diet will be affected by Proactol due to the appetite suppressant and fat blocker. If you slip up on meals, the fat blocker kicks in. It s really great to stop food cravings.Concentrate on those three things and the combination is deadly for the fat cells in your body. Good luck and I hope this helps.

Technically No!

Herbs and Vitamins that support healthy weight loss? -

Does anyone know any good vitamins and/or herbs that support healthy weight loss?

I know that Green Tea boosts your metabolism =) Good Luck !

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace dot com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

What are your best tips for weight loss success? -

I m looking for some new weight loss tips, I work out regularly and I ve cut out excess white sugar and complex carbs, how have you successfully lost weight? Please, no advice if it hasn t worked for you or someone you personally know :)

If you are looking the best weight loss solution, i suggest doing what this mom didhttp://the-best-diet.net/Combining the best 3 diet to get the best result

Excercise is the most important factor in losing weight. If I had to focus on anything to try and lose fat, it would be the exercise. Start off at a regular pace for you that won t knock the wind out of you, and gradually increase it as each week passes. Meanwhile, simply cut out the excess sugar and fat, don t completely deplete your body of it, but simply cut out the excess. Good luck to you!

Hey, Check this out...It will help.........The 12+ Foods for Weight Loss OR forget that and check out this unbiased Diet Review Site (Top 5 Diets) for free trials before you decide what s best for you.http://happydietnews.com/?id=10362Let me be clear. There are a lot of foods you can eat that will aid in weight loss. I dont want you telling your friends that Roace Cooper said that you can only eat 12 foods on a diet. Eating the Food I recommend is almost like eating negative calories and youll get the proper nutrition you need while youre trying to lose weight.Water - Lets start with the basics. Water is one of the most important things to have during a diet. Yet often times, people disregard it for its simplicity.Spinach - This vegetable is a high-octane vegetable filled with nutrients, minerals, anti-oxidants, and high levels of iron, calcium and lutein. Its also an excellent source of fiber.Broccoli - Believe it or not, calcium from broccoli is absorbed better by the body than any other food with calcium, even milk. Calcium is vitally important to keep your bones strong while youre losing weight. Broccoli is also a negative calorie food. Therefore youll burn more calories digesting it than what is actually in the broccoli itself.Kale - Like broccoli, kale is a negative calorie food. Its also super high in fiber, aiding in digesting food and cleansing the colon.Tomatoes - Technically a fruit that is full of vitamin C and high in antioxidants that help build and maintain the immune system. During weight loss, its easy to get run down.Eggs C Starting the day with a high protein food will give you instant energy. As far as fat burning properties, eggs have been known to burn fat in that ever frustrating tummy area that plagues a lot of people. The B12 found in eggs is excellent for breaking down fat and turning into energy. Some of you might be a little fearful of having too many eggs in your diet for fear of raising your cholesterol levels. However, high protein and low carbohydrates will actually keep your cholesterol levels low.Beans C Navy beans, kidney beans, lima beans and white beans have extraordinary fat burning benefits. Theyre high in fiber, protein and in iron, another vitamin that is needed for energy.Green Tea C Green tea has natural antioxidants called catechins that aid in weight loss. Drinking a cup of green tea can help fill your stomach when youre hungry and also boost your metabolism.Salad C One of the best ways to get nutrients and feel full without adding high calories, is to eat salad every day.Fruits C Fruits may be high in natural sugars, but many of them are also high in fiber. Apples, pears, pineapples are sweet snacks that have high nutritional and weight loss value.Lean meat C Less frying and more grilling.Soup C Having soup for lunch or dinner can greatly aid your weight loss program simply because soup has a lot of fluid in it which can give you a feeling of being full.Cinnamon C A lot of people suffer from sudden sugar cravings. Studies have shown that just a little bit of cinnamon sprinkled on toast or oatmeal can keep you from having a sudden spike in insulin, making you crave sugar.High fiber foods C Foods high in fiber help give you a feeling of fullness after youve eaten. If you feel satisfied, youre less likely to reach for a snack and break your diet.Oatmeal C A quick bowl of oatmeal in the morning will have a lasting affect throughout the morning. Add a dash of cinnamon to it and you have a winning combination.Salmon C Omega 3 fatty acids help aid digestion and are known to help get rid of unwanted belly fat.Yogurt C Another belly fat buster is yogurt. It also keeps blood sugar levels even, preventing sugar cravings. Finally, their are some myths about weight loss which I want to give you for free to help you on your way, so check out:http://www.top10dietmyths.com/free.php?iGood Luck, Roace Cooper (Formerly, Chubby....haha...lol)

How do I lose weight because I am depressed about being overweight? -

I am depressed about a lot of things and being overweight is one. I am 5 7 190lbs. I don t move much I eat all the time. I don t have energy to even ride a bike. I don t know if this weight gain is making me depressed or if depression is causing the weight gain. Does anyone have any ideas on a weight loss program and what type of exercises should I start with? I don t have any energy. I used to be 16 percent body fat and that was after four kids. Help.

Well, the important thing to do is start. In order to begin you have to start so I recommend getting it on paper so you can see your progress. Weigh yourself and write it down. Next, Make up your mind that there are certain foods (sugary, salty) that you are going to remove from your plan. Next, Don t call it a diet, because these will be new eating habits that you will keep. Start with just 15 minutes a day, walking. To the store, around the block, or on a treadmill, or light exercises for 15 minutes every other day. This is a small step. Make sure you have comfortable shoes when you walk, and drink 6 - 8 glasses of water per day, but you can substitute some of the water with gatoraide. Eat an apple every day. Increase fruit and veggies, as you decrease rice and pasta. Take it slow. It didn t get there over night so don t expect a miracle over nite. So you have a plan to get you started. Now, I would still go to see a Psychiatrist because something sounds like it is going on in the area of stress, anxiety and depression. You Dr. can help you decide if it is depression causing your weight gain. You mentioned not having any motivation. Sounds like depression, but with 4 children that in itself can be a full time job. I wish you great success. Now don t just write it down. Get up and do your 15 mins. I understand what you are going thru and been there before myself. Once I got started, I increased my walk a little at a time, and now I walk 2 miles at a time, 3 x s a week plus cut back on junk food and no fast food except a salad if I am too busy. I have lost about 30 lbs so far this year. I don t need to lose anymore weight since I ve reached my goal, but now I walk because I enjoy it, it s relaxing, and I can have some dessert sometimes and not gain. Good luck. Sometimes, just having someone to talk too about what s going on can relieve some of the stress, that is why I recommend a Dr. I take an antidepressant and one of the side effects is weight gain, so I continue to walk. There are some that don t have that side affect, so make sure if you do get on antidepressants, that you mention to the Dr. that weight gain is a major concern for you so he can put you on one that doesn t have that side effect like welbutrin. okay. bye until next time. :)

You should start with a diet.Eat lean meats (like chicken and salmon), fruits and vegetables, and whole grains (in certain types of bread and pasta).Throw out all the junk food and desserts, and stop getting fast food.Make the kitchen or dining room an eating only place.Gradually add in exercise, when you re at 160 or 170. Try for 30 minutes at first, of cardio, then move up to an hour a day when you think you re ready. Remember to do strength training as well.I think your goal weight should be 130.

I m in the same boat!!! Each day I try to exercise or at least do something...And I also drink lots of water and try to eat more protein and less carbs. It s really strange, some days I go for a bike ride with my son no problem going up hills and stuff. But then every now and then I can t make it and we just take a shorter route. With me, I think my hormones are out of whack and the fact that the kids are home for summer!! You can email me anytime....

www.sparkpeople.com is really helpful. The site helps you get on a plan and even can set you up with people you can talk to and who can help encourage and motivate you who are or have gone through the same thing you are going through.

ok well i ll answer this easily--you can get out and do stuff! you re tired because you don t do anything it isn t the other way around. and yes you can start being active.your body is your slave; it works for you-jack lalanne

One word ... EXERCISE! Start by walking, then riding a bike or swimming. Running wrecks your knees! Become obsessed with exercising and weight loss is virtually guaranteed but you must be persistent and patient!

I m in the same boat. I m 5 4 178 lbs. but i started at 210 (after my first child) and belive me, i know about not having energy too. but i quickly just changed my thoughts... i ran and felt like CRAP but thought that i never wanted to feel that bad after exercising again so i started doing 20 minutes a day of walking (10 walking 10 running) for 5 weeks and lost 20 pounds. I started eating better. i LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat and that wasn t helping so i fill myself up on fruits and veggies and lots and lots of grains. it was really hard at first but starting out sloooow really gets you going. I also joing www.buddyslim.com and its such a great site i ve never gotten so much support from people who are in the same situation. i really hope that you find your motivation. join the site i m telling you!!

How do I get a female walking companion in the Portadown area? -

I am interested in walking as part of a weight loss program

Can someone suggest ....? -

a good weight loss program or diet... that has worked for you... Cause I am getting married and would like to loose some weight. but my schedule is so complicated at this point. I go to collage during the day and work in the evening. I m also paint our home to rent it out cause we are relocating and the packing is hectic . So any ideas . Thanks in advance.

Try the special K diet. You might do better than I did but it works! I lost 5 lbs in a month.

first let me say i am 16 yrs old..so my losses may be way different from others......well this worked for me. at the end of december i was weighing 270 pounds. then i joined a gym(which probably woudn t fit your schedule, but u can still run) and i ran 1-2 miles about 5-6 times a week. i only drank about one soda a day ,if that, but mostly water. i cut my portions in about half of what they used to be. and here is in my opinion the most important step....i didnt eat 4 hours before i went to sleep. so on school nights i wouldn t consume calories after 7. after dieting and excercising i lost 55 pounds in about 5 1/2 months(but i could have lost more, laziness :),) i see your not shooting for this kind of amount but i averaged about 10 lbs a month....so remember to stay hydrated and get a multi-vitamin because when your not getting energy from food you ll tend to feel weak and tired alot......good luck..!

What kind of diet did work best for you aside from exercising? -

any pills?weight loss program?recommendations pls.

My husband and I both started Nutrisystem almost 4 months ago. I have lost over 30 pounds, my husband has lost almost 30 pounds. They have a huge variety of food, and there is allot to love, and quite a few to dislike. Everything is done online so it s really easy to pick out your menu and the cost is the same as what I spent at the grocery store anyway. It has been completely painless, I love almost all their deserts and always look forward to those! I have not excercised at all, and my husband works and plays golf and that s been his excercise. It is the easiest way I could ever imagine to lose weight. There are no membership fees, which is a big plus. I have been very impressed with their whole program. I never get hungry and I feel so much better and more energetic getting reid of that excess weight. It s definitly worth it. It also teaches you portion control and meal balancing, something I wasn t very good at I guess. Go to www.nutrisystem.com if you would like to take a look at what they offer.

I am still looking :)

Just eat less... Eat about a half of your regular meal. If you get hungry, eat an apple. It worked for me! I lost 25 pounds.

To achieve anything good the first thing is mind-set and seems like you already have that. Good thing buddy. There are some precautions that you should take while opting for any Weight Loss Program....Do not go for any quick weight loss crap ... It takes time.Do not go for any medicines which can have harmful side effects.Morning walk is recommended, if possible, do some jogging in morning or evening hours.Take a lot of salads, green vegetables.Avoid meat and fast food stuff, special fried stuff. It took me 8 months to loose noticeable weight and now I m pretty happy with what I have left on my bones lol. I tried a lot of weight loss programs and the only one that helped me to get good results is http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-2553081-1Its natural and shows progress within weeks. But remember, I did not leave my schedule of jogging/walking in morning and avoided all that was un-necessary fried stuff. Try it and I m sure it will help ...Good luck ...

Healthy weight loss? 16 lbs? -

healthiest way to lose sixteen pounds?

here is my tip to you: in the morning, straight after you wake up do not have breakfast and go on a run. this is beneficial because you body has not recieved nutrients for a long time and therefore they we be depleted, therefore the body looks for an alternative source of energy - FAT. Apart from the obvious of not eating a lot and doing cardiovascular exercise then you should be alright.

Exercise is key, and eat healthily- cut down on chocolate, sweets and fatty foods. A very important thing to remember is to never miss out a meal on purpose, never starve yourself because you ll put on more weight than you had before and drink plenty of waterThis is a great plan to base your weight loss on:Breakfast: Toast/Cereal and fruit salad. Apple juice/waterLunch: Source of protein, carbohydrate and veggiesSnack: Yoghurts for stronger bones (calcium)Tea: Protein source carbs, veggies. And for pudding have fruit and low fat yoghurt.Exercise: Gym once a week and go for a jog or ride your bike a couple of times a week, do yoga or go for a swim!Good luck xxx

Exercise and eat well.

If you eat your 5 a day, stick to under 1500 kcal for a girl or under 2000 kcal for a lad, and add 3 or 4 x 20 minute exercise sessions a week, it will result in a steady healthy weight loss.

Quick weight loss / ab fiirming plans? -

Ok I m a 15 year old girl and I m not over weight (5 8 , 128 lbs) but I need to firm up and I d like to lose 5-10 pounds. I want to do this as quick as possible because we have a show coming up on May 8th and 9th that is a beach theme so I have to wear shorts, tank tops things like that. Any suggestions for ab work outs or weight loss programs that might work?

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weightevenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight inspecific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they areyour problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will haveto work double on them. The best approach is this:1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normalweight, lower for overweight).2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.3. Target your problem areas with exercises.an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on astool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture, for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make surethat it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or youwill damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of yourbody back, until it s parallel with the ground. Stop for a second andmove it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week addto the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week, guaranteed! You will see or feel under the fat - if you have any - sixpack and muscles. Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than thesecrunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results ATALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

This is very easy!!!1) do some aerobic=jog/run/ski/cycle...2) do some ab exercisesThat thats simple...

Is there a free website that can morph my picture to make me look skinny? -

I am trying to loose weight and thought that if I had a picture of what I would look like skinny it would help me stick with my weight loss program. I don t have the money to pay for a program so was wondering if there were any free websites out there. I have tried http://fotoflexer.com/ but can t get it to work. I have also looked at JennyCraig.com but can t find it on her site. Any information would be great!

You can do it. You know the paint thing on your computer put your picture on it and take a picture of someone who s skinnier, and yous the cut and paste tools to cut of your body, and copy and paste the other dudes body on you.

I wouldn t say that those things are reliable. You should want to lose weight to look and feel better. Starting a healthy regimen will add years to your life and safeguard against cancer. I would think that would be motivation enough. Do it for yourself, not for how you think you might look when it is done with. If you do it for the wrong reasons, rest assured that you will be able to see that weight fly right back on without the aid of computer imaging.
