How to lose weight? -

I m not fat thats what I ve been told.But im getting kinda bigger I ve noticed and I wanna lose itt.I cannot run alot there are the things I can dojumping jacksjump on the trampolineride my bikeewalk for 15 min around the neighborhood!and eat less.but I wanna lose 10 pounds in like one week!any easy suggestions?

10 pounds in a week is going to be tough. just cut down on the fried crap and ditch all sodas for something like tea. gatorade is good to drink. lay off the pasta and eat minimal bread. the misconception is cutting down on intake will make you lose weight. monitor what you eat, that will help shed some pounds without having to adjust your exercise habit.

Cut back on that rice PRONTO and stock up on lean fish!!! Skip ALL sauces and just use simple spices and make your own flavorings, SANS SUGAR! You really have to watch out for sugar: read ALL the ingredients labels on all your food!! Sugar is the worst offender in terms of gaining weight!!! Cut it ALL OUT....and white proccessed carbs like rice are really horrible for your weight too! I would incorporate whole grain rice!!

I have PCOS as well, and I tell you it s a difficult road, but totally doable! While I am not a diabetic, my DR put me on Metformin which has helped with the weight loss. I also see a dietician and exercise regularly. I think the dietician is the best alli in my corner.Best of luck, it, can be done!

I m a 24 year old college student/ nanny. You can guess that my job is pretty sedentary- minus picking up kids, doing laundry, picking up after the kids etc. I try to go to the gym at least 3-4 times a week to do Zumba / Hip hop classes and Spinning Classes. I m a vegetarian, eating about 1500 calories a day and I admit that sometimes its not the healthiest of food, but I rarely go over the 1500 limit. I m not asking to be skinny. I just want to be at a healthy weight. Right now I am 5 9 and weight about 215 pounds. Ideally I would like to be 180-185 pounds. Which would put me into a size 10. Any suggestions other than what I am already doing?

Wow! It really sounds like you should be losing weight. Firstly, I do think that you should think about getting the blood test for hypothyroidism - it s not too scary, even if you come back positive. It s a really cheap ($15/mo), tiny pill once a day to treat. I m 25, and I gained a lot of weight my last couple years in college, so I know where you re coming from. I started biking everywhere my last year of college, and that really helped my take off a lot of weight. Otherwise:Based on your description, weight lifting is seriously missing from your schedule. Since you re already going to a gym, and seem to like classes, see if there s a circuit-training type class. Intense exercise that builds muscle and works as cardio too, and muscles burn more calories then non-muscle tissue. Learn to fidget more. It sounds kind of dumb, but just standing up and pacing or dancing in place whenever you re reading or studying can help you burn a lot of calories - try to sit as little as possible. ok from my own experience,this is how i ate to to loose some 40-50 pounds over 4 months:-a big breakfast( all healthy stuff, fruits, whole wheat bread etc-a medium lunch( again has to be healthy)-and every night for dinner, just a cup of fat free milk( you could also use 1% or 2%, depending on ur taste) with wheat cereal(whichever brand as long as it whole wheat)....I also cut back on soda and all the sugary treats completely and did 10 minute intense exercises 2-3 times a day.Hope that helps, let me know if u have any questions..goodluck
