Weight loss tips for kids? -

I ll be 12 in two months. I weight somewhere around 114. I am 5 ft. And I KNOW that I m not the weight I m suppose to be. My FAMILY; says that its a phase. But of course its my family therefore, they say that to boost my confidence. It makes me disappointed when my 18 year old sister weighs less than me. I cant even fit her clothes. I try to eat healthy but my family isn t much of a health fanatics. I am not the prettiest of girls; but I have A LOT of friends. They go for my personality and sense of humor, which I appreciate of them. I have a little bit of mustache. When I was really young; about 7 I shaved my peach fuzz; making it grow into a little mustache. So enough of my issues; and to the question. Does anyone know some easy Weight/Health tips; Also does anyone know how to get rid of this mustache.

Weight Loss Tips need to lose a lot of weight? -

I m 16 years old, female. I m 5 6 1/2 and weigh 163 lbs. I m way overweight. Luckily its proportioned evenly. I want to get into my healthy weight range but am having the worst time losing weight. I have no will power. I go for runs but have hard time doing other exercies and controlling my eating. I m also addicted to caffiene and drink 4-5 Diet Cokes a day. It s hard for me to switch to water. Help please!

well ditch the soda. sub it for juice atleast but deffinetly get some water in there. THE HARDEST PART IS GETTING STARTED.as soon as you make the first move its all down hill from there. exercise is so motivating that you will want to follow through with a healthy diet. also i like having a workout partner so that when u feel like ditching ur diet and exercise theyer calling u up saying hey lets go run its great and its a good idea. to lose weight, you need to change your lifestyle. espescially the food you re consuming everyday. to do that, you need a determination. FYI, diet coke contains much more sugar than regular soda so it ll actually make your situation worse. force yourself to drink 3 litres of water a day (not all at once but about 600ml each time), don t sleep past 11PM, wake up early(but don t get sleep deprived), do cardio exercises, don t eat after 5 PM, eat less but increase the quantity (eat 5 times a day but only a little bit each time)..

It s okay to eat ANYTHING you want at anytime you want. The key is, is to STOP when you re full. Eat slow bites. Chew each bite 20 times. count calories, you are already on-line so it wont cost to look up calories. a piece of paper and a pencil to write them down and tally them for the day. A set of cheap measuring cups and spoons to measure portions. You will save money at first by cutting down on portion sizes and then can put that savings toward additonal vegetables and things. Walk every day. If you cant afford walking shoes, keep your walks short and also try some stretching and moving in your own living room. Holding a soup can in each hand is roughly the same as a 1 pound weight in each hand and you can hold those while you do some moving and light exercizing in your house. put on some music, grab your soup cans and just move to the beat. First thing in the morning is best, it gets your metabolism all revved up for the day. Do not skip breakfast, your body will think you are still fasting from the night and that it needs to keep your metabolism down to save energy. If all you can afford is macaroni and cheese, then eat a little bit of it every 2-3 hours all day and try to keep moving, Park as far away as possible and walk to door at work or shopping, Walk at a brisk pace. Climb a set of stairs at work or home for no reason, just the movement of it all. Plain water is the very best, sip all day to keep hydrated and feeling full. Dude, you are wrong. Its actually cheaper to eat right, because you make your food at home, instead of going out to eat all the time. What I do when I need to cut back is I run on the treadmill or outside. I eat a bowl of cereal for breakfast, and every meal has a lean meat like chicken, shrimp, fish, ground turkey, egg whites, whole grains, like brown rice, bulgar, and veggies with every meal. If I want spagetti, I make it with ground turkey. If I want tacos, I make taco meat, load it with veggies and salsa, low fat sour cream and put it in a tortilla wrap, not hard shell. You make healthy choices. Then, I exercise 6 days a week. That helps. Good luck.

Actually weight loss should save you money. It is as simple as eating less. There is no magic to it. For exercise calisthenics are always good. Try jumping jacks, sit ups, push ups, etc.

In addition to the running you should do some weight training and different cardio exercises.I joined a gym the middle of september...I run and do an arc trainer for my cardio. I do weight training, with machines also. I weighed 161 and was a size 14 when I started, now I am 150 and am a size 10. So I lost 11lbs but, my body looks like I lost so much more. My arms are looking more toned, my stomach is flatter and my legs and butt have totally changed. I weigh 5lbs less than I did when I got married (only did cardio then) and before 2 kids and I look much better. This is what I have been told by my husband.
