What is the best thing I can do to lose weight? -

I don t eat salad. I only like about five kinds of vegatables. I don t eat a lot of fruits, although I like many kinds. With only red meat, chicken, rice, and potatoes as my main diet, I am at a loss of how to lose weight. I run about 15 miles a week and do muscular strenghth or endurance exercises about 45mins daily.

If weight loss is your goal, you should focus your workout on cardio. How many days per week do you run? Ideally, you should do some type of cardio 5-6 days per week for 30-60 minutes per session. I would recommend running perhaps 3 days a week and supplement it with another form of cardio, perhaps bicycling, swimming, or anything you enjoy. You should also mix up your runs. One day should be a long, but relatively easy run, another a more intense but shorter run and then run intervals on the 3rd day. As far as your strength training, I d recommend lifting weights 2-3 days per week with a day of rest between sessions. Its important to give your body a chance to recover between workouts. You diet should contain a variety of fruits and vegetables, 60% complex carbs (whole grains, not potatoes), 20% high quality protein (eggs, low-fat dairy, fish), and less than 20% fat. Also be sure to eat a combination of protein and carbs within 30 minutes of your workout and drink plenty of water.

spend the cash on a fitness expert who can cultivate a diet/exercise plan that specifically caters to you. and make sure u tell him/her exactly what u just told us.

How to lose weight? -

How much weight would i lose doing this....?About how much weight would i lose in a month doing this (a reasonable guess).....Running for 30 minutes 3 times a weekStength training for 30 mins 2-3 times a weekEating this:Breakfast-One cup of whole grain shredded wheat cereal with one half cup of nofat milkLunch-Chicken SaladDinner-Chicken with broccoli and carrotsSnack1- One 6 ounce serving of yogurtSnack 2-A pria carb bar, or an appleAbout 1200 calories a day or something....How much weight would i lose in a month and also...if I am still a little hungry throughout the day do I just ignore it? Because Bob Greene (Oprah s trainer) says a person should have 3 meals and one snack or have 2 snacks if they are very active....so if you are still hungry afterwards do you just ignore it or what?? any help would be great..thanks

No matter how you slice it, diet is a dirty word. It smacks of deprivation and hunger pangs. To overcome the pain, you need a plan.So WebMD asked the experts for advice, and put together their quick tips on how to get your weight lossgoing.1. Know Your Weight Loss GoalsConsider how much you need to lose before you decide how to do it, recommends Brian C. Jacobson, MD, MPH, assistant professor of medicine and a gastroenterologist at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts.Very overweight or obese. For someone obese, I refer them to our weight loss center, says Jacobson, who says people with a lot of weight to lose can probably benefit from a structured, supervised program. If you re slightly or moderately overweight. I advise controlling portion size, Jacobson says. If you control portion size, you cut calories. To learn correct portion sizes, consult a registered dietitian or take a look at the new food pyramid at MyPyramid.gov.Exercise also has to be part of your plan, Jacobson tells the do-it-yourselfers. But that doesn t necessarily mean joining a gym. Buy a cheap treadmill, he says, and when you re watching TV, hop on and take a walk. Before starting a new exercise regime or weight loss plan, however, remember to talk with your doctor.2. Understand Your Weight Loss PersonalityPersonality plays a role in our attitude towards food, says Thomas R. Przybeck, PhD, assistant professor of psychiatry at Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, who has published on the topic of diet and personality. Know your tendencies and tailor your plan to conquer the unproductive inclinations.Impulsive. If you have a tendency to be impulsive, you might see a pint of Ben Jerry s in the freezer and go for it, Przybeck says. Clearly you are a dieter who needs to remove those temptations.Oblivious. If you tend to not pay attention when you eat -- maybe you re a TV snacker? -- you need to avoid such situations if you want to control portions.Uptight. If you are highly anxious, you will probably have more difficulty, Przybeck says. Those who are anxious, nervous, and depressed might eat to feel better. Tenacious. Certain personalities don t find it that difficult losing weight. If you are highly self-directed, cooperative, and have a lot of stick-to-it-ive-ness, you are going to have an easier time, Przybeck says.Sociable. You tend to monitor your food intake better than others, Przybeck found.3. Double Up: Diet ExerciseWhen her heartburn patients ask which should come first, diet or exercise, Lauren Gerson, MD, MSc, director of the Esophageal and Small Bowel Disorders Center at Stanford University School of Medicine in California, says: jump in and do both. It s a combination of diet and exercise [that will lead to weight loss], she says.4. Make a Firm Weight Loss CommitmentTo be successful, it helps to understand why you want to lose weight. So before you begin a weight loss plan, ask yourself: * Am I ready to do this? * Is my motivation coming from within? * Can I deal with occasional setbacks or lack of progress? * Can I focus on weight loss fully? (If you re in the midst of a job change or other distractions, for example, it might be better to resolve those issues, and then focus on weight loss efforts.)Finally, be sure you re committed to losing weight for yourself -- not because someone else is pressuring you to do so.Then, take things slowly, keep these tips in mind, and you should be on the road to weight loss in no time. --Ready to Lose Weight?-- --http://www.healthylifeday.com/index.php?option=com_content task=view id=151 Itemid=62 --

I m not sure about all of that, but I do know to lose weight, all you have to do is do running. If you run AT LEAST 4 times a week for an hour or so you should be seeing progress. Also try bike riding and stuff... that can help too. As far as all the fancy bars and food for loosing weight that s all unnecessary. But at the same time im not telling you to eat up a storm and exercise and expect to lose weight cause that wont work. Eat a REASONABLE portion of food that you know you can finish that can also fill you up. Remember to keep it healthy. Refrain from bad eating habits (chips, fries, fast food, fried goods.) Exercise should be on your mind. Don t just stay at home on your tooshy.Just eat healthy and exercise regularly and you should see progress in 4 weeks!

i ve lost a little weight just walking on the treadmill for an hour. for 5-6 days and eat HEALTHY! you can snack here and there or at least i did, but watch your portion sizes. drink alot of water! it s essential in the bodies way of disposing all excess..give us a update! and if your hungry during the day then just snack on a piece of fruit. but try to drink something first because sometimes you think it s hunger but it s really thirst. never let the body go on when it s hungry or thirsty.

The way not to do it is starve yourself, to start with. Just exercise and eat right. I did....lost 90 LBS because of it. Starving yourself won t help at all. Drink more water, eat less before bed, and don t eat for stress are the 3 things I follow and i m going pretty well if i don t say myself. 90 LBS isn t anything like 5-10lbs so take my advice. If you want anymore details, feel free to email me. ~Adia

To successfully lose weight, you must carry outa plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionallybalanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity. I found useful informations at http://bestsouthbeachdiet.info/

It depends on your current weight, really. People who are heavier lose more weight when they run for 30 minutes than people who are thinner, because they have to work up more energy. But for the most part, you d probably lose between 5-10 pounds, depending on your current weight, and your current eating and exercise habits. If you re hungry still, you should probably just drink some water, or maybe eat an apple or some carrot sticks. Hope that helps, and good luck.

Weight loss is a tricky topic. Lots of people are unhappy with their present weight, but most aren t sure how to change it and many would be better off staying where they are. You may want to look like the models or actors in magazines and on TV, but those goals might not be healthy or realistic for you. Besides, no magical diet or pill will make you look like someone else.So what should you do about weight control?Being healthy is really about being at a weight that is right for you. The best way to find out if you are at a healthy weight or if you need to lose or gain weight is to talk to a doctor or dietitian. He or she can compare your weight with healthy norms to help you set realistic goals. If it turns out that you can benefit from weight loss then you can follow a few of the simple suggestions listed below to get started.Weight management is about long-term success. People who lose weight quickly by crash dieting or other extreme measures usually gain back all (and often more) of the pounds they lost because they haven t permanently changed their habits. Therefore, the best weight management strategies are those that you can maintain for a lifetime. That s a long time, so we ll try to keep these suggestions as easy as possible!Make it a family affair. Ask your mom or dad to lend help and support and to make dietary or lifestyle changes that might benefit the whole family, if possible. Teens who have the support of their families tend to have better results with their weight management programs. But remember, you should all work together in a friendly and helpful way making weight loss into a competition is a recipe for disaster!Watch your drinks. It s amazing how many extra calories can be lurking in the sodas, juices, and other drinks that you take in every day. Simply cutting out a couple of cans of soda or switching to diet soda can save you 360 calories or more each day. Drink lots of water or other sugar-free drinks to quench your thirst and stay away from sugary juices and sodas. Switching from whole to nonfat or low-fat milk is also a good idea.Start small. Small changes are a lot easier to stick with than drastic ones. Try reducing the size of the portions you eat and giving up regular soda for a week. Once you have that down, start gradually introducing healthier foods and exercise into your life.Stop eating when you re full. Lots of people eat when they re bored, lonely, or stressed, or keep eating long after they re full out of habit. Try to pay attention as you eat and stop when you re full. Slowing down can help because it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to recognize how much is in your stomach. Sometimes taking a break before going for seconds can keep you from eating another serving.Avoid eating when you feel upset or bored try to find something else to do instead (a walk around the block or a trip to the gym are good alternatives). Many people find it s helpful to keep a diary of what they eat and when. Reviewing the diary later can help them identify the emotions they have when they overeat or whether they have unhealthy habits. A registered dietitian can give you pointers on how to do this.Eat less more often. Many people find that eating a couple of small snacks throughout the day helps them to make healthy choices at meals. Stick a couple of healthy snacks (carrot sticks, a low-fat granola bar, pretzels, or a piece of fruit) in your backpack so that you can have one or two snacks during the day. Adding healthy snacks to your three squares and eating smaller portions when you sit down to dinner can help you to cut calories without feeling deprived.Five a day keep the pounds away. Ditch the junk food and dig out the fruits and veggies! Five servings of fruits and veggies aren t just a good idea to help you lose weight they ll help keep your heart and the rest of your body healthy. Other suggestions for eating well: replace white bread with whole wheat, trade your sugary sodas for lots of water and a few cups of low-fat milk, and make sure you eat a healthy breakfast. Having low-sugar, whole grain cereal and low-fat milk and a piece of fruit is a much better idea than inhaling a donut as you run to the bus stop or eating no breakfast at all! A registered dietitian can give you lots of other snack and menu ideas.Avoid fad diets. It s never a good idea to trade meals for shakes or to give up a food group in the hope that you ll lose weight we all need a variety of foods to stay healthy. Stay away from fad diets because you re still growing and need to make sure you get proper nutrients. Avoid diet pills (even the over-the-counter or herbal variety). They can be dangerous to your health; besides, there s no evidence that they help keep weight off over the long term.Don t banish certain foods. Don t tell yourself you ll never again eat your absolutely favorite peanut butter chocolate ice cream or a bag of chips from the vending machine at school. Making these foods forbidden is sure to make you want them even more. Also, don t go fat free: You need to have some fat in your diet to stay healthy, so giving up all fatty foods all the time isn t a good idea. The key to long-term success is making healthy choices most of the time. If you want a piece of cake at a party, go for it! But munch on the carrots rather than the chips to balance it out.Get moving. You may find that you don t need to cut calories as much as you need to get off your behind. Don t get stuck in the rut of thinking you have to play a team sport or take an aerobics class to get exercise. Try a variety of activities from hiking to cycling to rowing until you find ones you like. Not a jock? Find other ways to fit activity into your day: walk to school, jog up and down the stairs a couple of times before your morning shower, turn off the tube and help your parents in the garden, or take a stroll past your crush s house anything that gets you moving. Your goal should be to work up to 60 minutes of exercise every day. But everyone has to begin somewhere. It s fine to start out by simply taking a few turns around the block before bed and building up your levels of fitness gradually.Build muscle. Muscle burns more calories than fat. So adding strength training to your exercise routine can help you reach your weight loss goals as well as give you a toned bod. A good, well-balanced fitness routine includes aerobic workouts, strength training, and flexibility exercises.Forgive yourself. So you were going to have one cracker with spray cheese on it and the next thing you know the can s pumping air and the box is empty? Drink some water, brush your teeth, and move on. Everyone who s ever tried to lose weight has found it challenging. When you slip up, the best idea is to get right back on track and don t look back. Avoid telling yourself that you ll get back on track tomorrow or next week or after New Year s. Start now.Try to remember that losing weight isn t going to make you a better person and it won t magically change your life. It s a good idea to maintain a healthy weight because it s just that: healthy.hope i helpedxooooooooooooooooxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxoooghetto gurl

How to lose weight fast and healthy for a thirteen year old? -

hey guys im kinda on the heavey side at 135 lbs at 5 2 so leave exercises tht will help fpr weight lose im tired of getting made foun of cause of my man boobs so yea thanx

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a few helpful links.http://www.nutrawatch.com/http://www.caloriesperhour.com/http://www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eahttp://www.wikihow.com/Lose-Weight-the-Hhttp://weightloss.about.com/cs/fitness/ahttp://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/fe

I have lost 40 lbs. in 3 months and I know this will work. Eat small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, eat your last meal 2-3 hours before you go to sleep. Do not starve yourself or your body will go into survival mode where anything you eat will be turned into FAT. This will help you a lot but if you want more results you can exercise 3-4 days a week, include weight training and especially cardio (walking especially running). If you set your mind to lose the weight you will lose it and when you start seeing how good you look you ll want to keep going.Good Luck

Take up some kind of excersise. Do some crunches and stretches/ jumping jacks. Nothing serious, but a little a day. Also, you could do some kind of sport like martial arts and swimming and it helps you lose a lot of weight and its real easy.

Shiii...I used to get made fun of my man boobs too. I did lots of cardio and upper-body workouts and now I only have minimal man boobs almost invisible.

Running is a fast way to lose weight, if you start running and continue to run you should lose pounds. Hope this helps

take up marital artsDo push ups and jumping jacks. And lots of cardio

How to lose weight as a cheerleader? -

i m only 4 11 and 110 but i would like to lose a little bit more and im also just 15 but im a fly-er but droping some weight would be nice

keep doing your jumps. toe touch, hurkeys, hurdlers, pikes, etc. do combinations. it will improve your jumps, tone up your legs, and you will loose some weight along with strenghtening your legs so when you go up, you can squeeze more, thus making it easier on your base. heres a pix of me flying. i was usually a base, but if you can hold your weight then you will still feel light. im 5ft 2in and weighed about 115 in this pix. my base are both under 5ft and said they could hardly feel me. (this pix is over 2yrs old.)http://pic20.picturetrail.com/VOL1612/66

well as a cheerleader myself, you cant really lose much more weight, probably only go down about 5 more pounds. i would say eat a piece of fruit in the morning to get your metabolism going, then eating a lighter lunch involving vegetables, and then for diner, make sure you get protein, but just smaller amounts, and of course exercising. CARDIO. :) And if you re worried about feeling heavy, the tighter you are, the lighter you feel.hope i helped. :)

You could run 3-6 times a week...it really makes you drop some extra pounds. You could start at 1 mile and go on from there. Running also gives you a bigger lung capacity, which is good. Eat healthier but in moderation. It is really not a good idea to diet because after you stop dieting you could possibly gain all the weight you lost or more. If you exercise everyday, then you can basically eat whatever you want. Also, you could cut out sodas and start drinking water.

You don t need to lose weight but if you want to lose weight in a healthy way, then do the King - to - beggar diet. This is where you eat like a King for breakfast (eat a lot). This will shoot up your metabolism while leaving you full for the rest of the day. You won t be as hungry and you won t eat as much. for lunch, eat like a common person. Not too much and not too little. THen for Dinner, eat like you have no money or food. I, personally just skip dinner but that wud be unhealthy for you at growing age. I suggest eating very little for dinner. You will be hungry but this will allow you to lose weight. You should exercise on top of this.

Mostly crunches and a healthy diet because with being a fly-er and 4 1 you wouldn t want to become too much smaller, but still lose weight, you would need to build the muscle and eat a healthy diet, so some suggestions are crunches, push ups, sit ups, and jumping jacks. :D Hope this helps!

The same way as you lose weight even if you aren t a cheerleader - intake less calries than you burn.Since you should be getting plenty of exercise as a cheerleader I suggest you drink only water - fruit juices and fizzy drinks are full of calories - and avoid fatty and sweet foods.

I am 5 2 106. Eat healthy and exercise. Friuits, veggies, lesser carbs, lean meat, and go for long walks. You seem naturally thin, but if you want a leaner body I would start off by eating very healthy. If that doesn t work start counting your calories. Put into your body only the amount it needs. Lift weights in order to tone muscle. Throwing up or not eating is very stupid. Do not listen to those people. You do not need to be like that in order to be thin. All it takes is a healthy and balanced diet. How can you possibly be fat by eating fruits, veggies, and lean meat? You cant. If you are already overweight, than that would be a solution. But, you are already small. Just improve your diet

go to the bathroom and then get a toothbrush and then make sure your over the toilet so you dont make a mess and then put the toothbrush down your throat and make your self puke till you get to you goal weight.

OMG! you re 15 and only 4 11?!?!Eh, well you can t help that huh, and also girl, you don t need to lose any weight if your 110, because that s fine and if it wasn t fine, then you wouldnt be a flyer.

Well, how is your diet? You have a healthy BMI. So it s probably not a body-fat thingMaybe you just need to tone up.Like, do some sit ups to tone the stomach, etc.And your cheerleading should help a lot!

i don t agree with diets but i understand that cheerleaders have to be fit now my sister lost 15 pounds by going on some thing called weight watchers you can type that on the google bar and it will show you what its all about !

Well... the best thing to do is that, because you are a cheerleader then all you have got to do is do some more exercises and also (the key thing) eat alot healthier!!Hope I helped:)Heather x

You and I are the pretty much the same exact size.I do crunches, and run miles at the park with my mom.I m 4 11, 105 lbs, and 15.

You already sound quite small, so don t drop too much, no more than 5lbs max anyway. Try running, do extra cheer-leading practice. But I really don t think you need to lose any weight.

Check that website out it tells you everything on healthy meals to eat also what you should eat and not eat.

Jogging is awesome for losing weight. But remember, don t like- make yourself throw up or anything. Just jog for an hour or two daily. Eat veggies and fruit. Keep it healthy!

110 is low enough, if you really wanna lose weight work out more cardio excersizes.....

Just diet, and don t do anything unhealthy like starve or binge. And do some exercise the basics.

Exercise more, take in fewer (but healthier) calories.

DRINK WATER..EAT FRUIT AND EXERCISE YOUR ROUTINES MORE

Your weight is still good! I don t think you need to lose any weight!

starve

your fine for a 15 year old lol your like normal in my school

eat apples for a day plus eat more vegetables

I need some serious advice on how to lose weight...? -

Im 14, 140 lbs and 5 foot 6, id really like to lose 15 lbs in two months, before school starts... i work out everyday, 30 mins on an elliptical, 20 on the treadmill, and i eat like 1400 calories a day but i cant seem to lose any weight.... any advice because im stumped...

Hi! I can definitely help!I m 16. I weighed 206 pounds in September of 08. Today, I weigh 164 pounds. I have lost weight, the healthy way without diet pills or any crash diets. Here is one thing to remember. Losing weight doesn t require a diet. It is a life style change. Eating healthier foods and working out more becomes a way of life. So that is one thing that you really need to remember. 1.) Workout in the morning. Working out in the morning is the best time of the day to workout if you can. Try to workout between 5 and 9 A.M. This is better because by working out in the morning you are jump starting your metabolism, and you continue to burn calories throughout the day. 2.) EAT BREAKFAST. I can not stress this enough. Eating breakfast is the absolute most important thing. People who don t eat breakfast, tend to weigh more. If you don t eat, and then go burn 500-1000 calories your body begins to hold on to any and all fat. Therefore, EAT BREAKFAST. Trying eating toast with some peanut butter and some fried eggs. This is all protein which your body absolutely needs in order to burn fat. 3.) As far as calories here is how you determine how many calories you want to eat. You say that you are 140 pounds, and that you want to weigh 125 pounds. Here is how you calculate calories. Take the weight that you want to be and multiply it by 10.So...125 x 10 = 1250 calories a daySo you aren t eating wayy to many calories, but it would help if you just cut back to 1250. I want to weigh 135 pounds, so I am trying to keep my calorie intake below 1350 calories.4.) You do not need to take pills! I have lost almost 40 pounds without pills. Pills can be really dangerous. I was going to take hydroxy cut to get over a plateau a few months ago, and then I found out they can cause liver and kidney failure. So please don t use them. Plus, most diet pills are for people 18+ anyway. The ONLY pill that I would say you could try is hoodia. Hoodia is a natural pill. It helps to reduce hunger. But I still don t recommend it. I took it when I was 13 or so, and I did notice a difference. But when you change your lifestyle, it really isn t that hard not to eat as much. And once you start losing weight, you don t want to gain it back by eating to much. 5.) My overall advice is...exercise for about one hour 4-5 times a week. Make sure you aren t eating to much, but also make sure your not eating to little. Believe it or not, not eating enough can really hurt you and you will not lose weight. Trust me, I tried. I started eating less and less and I actually gained weight! I gained three pounds by not eating enough. So please make sure that you eat enough. So like I said exercise enough, eat healthy foods. Think about it this way, if you eat a bag of potato chips (a snack size) it s going to be close to 200 calories. My favorite fruit is strawberries. One cup of strawberries is about 70 calories. So, by eating strawberries instead of chips you can literally eat almost three times as much. But if you really love potato chips, then eat baked chips. They are much healthier and still taste awesome. I really hope that my answer was helpful. I know that losing weight can be extremely hard. But remember that you don t have to be to skinny. I want to weigh about 140 pounds. I like to have some meat on my bones. If you can, let me know how it goes! I m starting college at the end of September and I am hoping to have the rest of the weight off by then. I want to make a good impression too. But I have to say, I am thrilled to weigh 164 pounds instead of 206. I was a size 18, and now I wear a size 10. It s just about the most awesome feeling. :)Good Luck!

Your body seems to have plateaued. You need to do some resistance training as well as cardio in order to see results. 1400 calories a day may be too little for you. Your body needs a certain amount of calories in order to burn more fat and if it doesnt think its getting enough, it will store it up and not allow you to burn anymore. Also, you need to make sure you are eating breakfast right when you wake up (Fresh fruit and yogurt are good for this) because that will jumpstart your metabolism for the day. It is also important to choose one day out of the week to pig out; so to speak, which will also increase your metabolism.

Did you know that your brain controls the release of Fat Burning Hormones after each meal? It s true.Every time you eat something there are 2 types of hormones released into your bloodstream, and together they control Fat Burning and Fat Storage. Also, did you know that these 2 hormones are controlled by the foods that you eat? It s true.Source:secureandquick.com/go/loseweight ht
