I am 9 years old and weight 125 pounds any good tips on how to lose weight and soon? ? -

I agree that you should slap your parents, but do it respectfully. Please take better care of yourself going forward, because you can and because you will be much happier with yourself if you do. Follow the only path to success which is 1) get enough regular exercise, and 2) watch what you eat. Do not try any crazy diets. Do not go with zero fat because you are growing and you need some fat in your diet to be healthy. You may want to get good advice from a licensed dietition and then join weight watchers to learn discipline and gain insight as to the factors which contribute to a lack of discipline. You should mention your height when you give your weight.Don t get too hard on yourself. Believe that you can do it and keep trying. In the long run, you will become whatever you set your mind to.

Well it s obviously worrying you or you wouldn t have asked advice. You need to try and get your mum to come to a nutritionist with you coz she is feeding u / letting u eat the wrong foods. A few quick tips don t eat it if it s fried and have fruit only 4 puddings. Only fruit should be a snack between meals. Bananas are good as they help to fill u up, any fruit though is good. No biscuits, choc or ice cream, u could try a sorbet instead of ice cream (no fat in them) or and ice lolly instead of ice cream will help (although only 2x weekly as a treat). Try and swap white bread for brown or granary and eat pasta, rice or potatoes without butter (no chips, fries, crisps try rice crackers instead) Chicken and tuna are both low in fat, as are prawns.. No Mc D or Burger King I m afraid ;-) Try and join a sports club near you, martial arts are good 4 body and mind (judo, karate) and don t worry u can start at beginner level. Try not to look for fast weight loss if you try and make the changes I ve suggested then in the long term u will be thinner and have more energy.. And instead of TV go for half hr walk every day, don t sit in front of computer go out and play.. Godd luck I hope it works out u.. Oh and expect to be hungry, your body will adapt to it and your tummy will shrink so u eat less.

HMMMM.....Eat small meals very often. It will increase your metabolism. I like used to eat a TON like 24/7. (I m a guy, what can I say) and then I was sick for a weekend, and when I came out of the weekend I had lost 4 pounds just sitting around being sick because I wasn t eating much. I m already skinny. You just need to rack up that metabolic rate.

hey mate... im a personal trainer from australia... honestly at the age of 9 i dont think your weight should be bothering you... i suggest u just go out and have fun exercising with your friends... burn lots of energy... run and jump around... ur still a kid, dont let the grown up world of weight and self image ruin the best years of your life... just have a bunch of fun mate

Have your parents take you to your pediatrician for a physical. Ask the doctor to put you on an intelligent, healthy diet or refer you to a nutritionist.If you re really 9 years old, you re in violation of the Y!A rules.

First.Slap your parents for letting you get to 125 pounds. Second stop eating Fast Food/Garbage Foods since i know your parents are feeding you this. 3rd. Get into sports. Its not to late you need excercise fast.

I say you continue to eat, but just healthier such as fruits and vegtables. Also exersise a lot :)

Okay the best way to lose weight is to concentrate on 2 main things, this is your diet and your workout.---Diet----You need to get both of them right, now your diet should work like this... you should be eating a meal every 2-3 hours but not a junk food snack/meal. When i say meal i mean something which is healthy ie you might have some pasta with tuna, or a quick banana as a snack. The foods you eat should be COMPLEX carbs ie pasta, brown bread etc etc. You also want to try and get as much fruit + ved in a day. Make sure you have a good amount of protein throughout your meals. Now you also need to work out your Basal Metabolic Rate, this simply tells you how many calories you burn a day, you need to find out how much your actually eating now its most likely to be in excess if it is you want to TRY and cut down 500 calories and stick to your new total amount. This shouldnt be hard because you will be eating Complex carbs which are just as filling but have a lower calorie count but are better for you than empty calories which are found in simple carbs.---Workout---Here are some tips for you Okay now for your workout what you want to be doing is concentrating on many different types of cardio exercises. These are your jogging,swimming basically anything that makes you sweat and makes your heart pound. If you can join a gym as they have a lot of cardio machines there. Now once you get in to the hang of say jogging, what i mean by this is say you jog 20 mins everyday eventually you will come to a point where your not losing anymore weight this is like hitting a brick wall, this means you need to up the game, start jogging that extra five minutes a day, start taking that one less suagr in your cup of tea.The most important tip to remember is to vary your cardio routines. Your body gets used to the same cardio routines done over and over. You can t lose weight really fast, it takes dedication and consistency in order to achieve weight loss. Seeing as your ten years old you shouldn t have to work hard.You need to exercise and have a healthy diet. You need 30-60 minutes of Cardio for 3-5days a week. Cardio is the best for burning fat, try doing some high impact exercises such as running and jogging to have lots of calories burned. Anything that gets your heart rate up can be considered cardio. Jumping running jogging swimming bicycling etc. etc. You also need a healthy diet. By diet I do not mean eating nothing but salad, please don t do this. Just eat your regular meals, but lower your portions a bit. Include fruits and vegetables to your meals, or just eat those for snacks. No chips, no sodas, no junk food. period. It would also be best to include strength training in your workouts. Strength training is good for toning your body and not having flab. Stuff such as weight lifting, pushups, sit ups, squats, and lunges are one of the well known things used for strength training. You should do this 1-3 days a week. Make sure you don t do this day after day, or else you will be in loads of pain. Try to get yourself a journal so you can keep track of what you eat. I m a 230lb guy and am trying to get down to 200lbs. The problem isn t that I don t excercise, it s not that I m replacing fat with muscle, it s not even just me eating bad food, it s that I just get too hungry and then eat a ton. Is there some way to not have the desire to eat as much/curb my appetite? I ve seen stuff on tv like fullbar or slimquick shakes for women, but I m hoping there s another way. The best way to burn fat is to consume less food and workout more often, the difficulties appear when we really attempt to put that into operation! This is how i lost weight. First do a detox diet( you could find out more infor by going to wikipedia and type Detox diet ). After doing that for weeks or a month. Then move on to South Beach Diet , this will help you to eat healthier next time around. When doing this, you have to execrise. Alot of time you have probably heard that you need to execrise for at least 30 minutes. That s a lie, 30 minutes execrise is too short of a time to burn what you need to burn. Do it for an hour at least, an hour and 30 minutes is better. Try to execrise at least three times a week, if you really want to lose more, then do it at least 5 days a week. I did this and lost weight. I don t know what you weigh so please if you think what i said is physically impossible for you to do then don t do it. I just lost 14 pounds within 6 weeks. Here is how I did it. I ate one main meal a day. A healthy meal, I ate fish or chicken with vegetables every day mid to late afternoon I took a supliment called hoodia twice a day NOT AT NIGHT!
