I need to lose about roughly 80lbs. I am overweight and have hbp. Its all about my health right now and I am still young. Doctor said that it will be easy for me since i am young and everything else regarding my health is ok, and that I wouldnt have anything to worry about once I drop these pounds. Any specifics.

Along with diet you HAVE to exercise. Even if you start off slowly. You have no choice. Start walking and gradually start jogging even if its a few minutes. Dont eat after 5-6 pm. Having no junk in the house helps most for me. Clean out your fridge and cabinets. You can do it.

I asked before and didn t get any answers. Help please! I keep spraining my ankle which throws off my diet/excercise regiment and then I get off track and either gain weight or just stay the same, I stop losing. What can I do to lose weight while my ankle is recovering?

Well. I always manage to stay trim while injured and my method is if you have a sprained ankle you:Definately lay off the cardio... but that doesn t mean you can t excersise and burn calories. You can still burn calories by doing various weight excercises (While sitting down if prefered) with dumbells etc. Or try different variations of crunches and core/abdominal excersises so that your ankle is in a comfortable position. Peform the excersises more with speed than weight as this will speed up your metabolic rate which means you burn fat.Or if your feeling a bit lazy you can:Stay to do the diet side and speed up your metabolic rate by just diet.Your diet should consist of 6 (small) meals a day. I don t get how a sprained ankle can throw off your diet. Stick to your diet. Studies have shown that diet is more important than exercise if you had to choose between the two. Try swimming and do core workouts focusing on your abs. A stability ball would be a great addition to your workout. Also you can still do weights with your arms. Mostly you have to stay focused on the goal.

Work around your injury. Obviously avoid the treadmill and aerobics and dance classes but there are a ton of other exercises you can safely do. Swimming, shadow boxing, row machine and maybe biking shouldn t aggravate your ankle.
