Weight problem? -

okay. I m 14 years old. I m a good height (about 5 9 ), and just kinda have a big frame altogether. But anyway, I eat a good diet (LOOOOOOVE the veggies) and don t snack often except for fruits and such...but I do have a decent appitite. It seems like my metabolism just hasnt caught up with it. So basically, I really need to lose some weight. I do excersize, admitably not as often as I should though. In addition to the weight loss tips, does anyone know of any good excersizes for weight loss that I might actually ENJOY doing (that don t require other people)? Thanks for thoughtful answers...(and i ve been nice here so please pay me the same respect)

Get some aerobic exercise every day the kind where your heart rate speeds up and do it for at least half an hour EVERY day and you won t have any problems. Don t try to diet at y our age and get lots of calcium. Eating a cup of yogurt eery day will help keep your weight low and give you calcium. NO diets please, they make you even fatter when you go off them.

um... doing excercise to videos such as tae-bo works. i too need to loose some lbs. swimming is also fun and works every muscle in ur body!!!

oh! know what,, we have the same problem.. but ive learned eventually to accept who i am - and im kinda lazy to do any exercise so i gave up.. ahihihi..ei,, try belly dancing!!! you can buy dvds that ll instruct you about the hows of the dance.. youll enjoy it and maybe eventually, you learn that doing this with you close friends or relatives will make it much more fun!

I found 1 year ago one company that sell a product fantastic!!... No more diet and angry for my life since that I try this product... I loose 5 lbs!! in a 3 months FOREVER!! I never get again that pounds!! Is totally nutritional and you ll feel really great and full.. and you can eat what you like in one meal... If you want more information for that write me to my email and I ll help you, I work with people like you, you will said to yours parents...See ya! Good Luck!

i have the SAME exact problem. like, EXACTLY. what i did to lose the pounds, was i gound a sport i love to death. i practice it in the street by hitting it against the roof and pasing it when it comes down [volleyball] and it REALLY works. if youre more of a dance, or drama kind of person, then get involoved in a really active drama production with lots of dancing or such, it really helps. since it sounds like you have an awsoeme diet and you do exersice some, this might work. if that doesnt work then i would try doing crunches, i know it isnt fun, but it helps get stomach muscle so you look..not skiiner but it makes you look even fit-er if you get my drift, and it def is fun to see the way you look after the crucnhes. lol. i really wish you luuckk.

Drink lots and lots of water. Eat a salad at least once daily, shoot for two a day with one of the following: baked skinless chicken or baked fish. Try lipton onion cup of soup mix - mixed with ground beef. Shape into a patty bake in the oven, (recipe usually on lipton box). If your not into arobic exercise or running, walk. Walk a little futher each day. Watch your carb intake. Soft drinks are full of them, as is chocolates/sweets. Hope this helps. Good luck !!

Cardio excercises (running, swimming, power walking) any excercises that speed up you heart rate. Doing this every day will help you burn body fat and also some extra calories. Eating in portions , instead of big meals, eat 6 small meals. Cut out sugar foods , try to eat more foods with natural sugars (fruits are great sources!) Drink lots and lots of pure natual water (Speeds up you matabolisn) .Do not to diet at this age, makes you gain more weight once you start eating regularly as you normally do. Just eat healthier!!!

What are some weight loss tips? -

i am 5 5 i weigh 145 pounds how much weight shoul i lose what are some good exercises?

5 5 at 145lbs is a bit overweight but not too bad depending on your frame. First, get your ideal body weight range for your height. Since there is no ideal weight for you, is good to get a rough idea on the range.http://www.preventdisease.com/healthtoolSecond, find out how many calories you burn per day to roughly estimate your calories intake to maintain a daily deficit.http://preventdisease.com/healthtools/arThird, start a fitness program according to your needs and lifestyle.http://preventdisease.com/fitness/fundamLastly, ensure you follow a good diet and be smart about healthy food choices.http://preventdisease.com/fitness/weightThe key to weight loss is enjoying daily quality fitness and making wise food decisions for the rest of your life. Eat smart and stay fit.

You should eat right, which means less fat and more veggies, fruit, and protein. Also you have to exercise no matter what all the diet fads say. Its a calories in calories out take. However many calories you intake, if you trying to loose weight, than you have to burn all those calories off and then some.

Studies show that by limiting your soda intake to one bottle per week and drinking more water to replace that soda, helps you lose about ten pounds.

First off it depends on how much you want to lose. Your weight for your height is about where it should be. If you want to lose weight i would run and basic exercises. This will get you into good shape and lose some weight. Now do remember that as you build muscle your weight will not drop as much cause muscle weights more than fat. You will tone up. Eating a healthy diet is also a must. Limit alcohol intake (especially beer).

Ways to Lose Weight:Take vitamins/supplements that you need; e.g. calcium-if you do not drink much milk, etc.ExerciseDrink More WaterEat more vegetables fruits,The average calorie intake is 1,500 calories. Eat about half that. Don t starve yourself--believe me, this WILL NOT work! Any faster weight loss tips for me? -

After I gave birth to my daughter, I have gained 25 pounds from my original weight. I am a full time student and a full time mother to my daughter. I am struggle to take it off, but I don t know how. I was wondering if anyone can give me some suggestions or let s just say if you have done it before and it works well then I would like to know everything. Thanks!

Well, being commited is the number one thing. If you keep up at any workout, you re sure to see results. I don t have kids, but I go on a 15 minute run every day in the morning (its quick and helps get your legs in shape!). Other things to do when you re crunched for time are to just do some easy lifting with dumbells for a few minutes a day and crunches. Another great thing I recommend to get in shape is pilates! If none of those help you, then I guess you need to try something different. Good luck!

Eat less, move more, drink more water, eat more fruits and veggies... and you will lose weight if you have the patience to see it through. No fad diet or magic pill will do it for you.And if you want to check out a method from the lady who ran The Biggest Loser on NBC, you might want to see if this method might help.http://jillianmichaels.freebielink.info

Try to find a sport or hobby that you enjoy that is active or even one you ve always wanted to try out. Sign up for classes or go with friends or even alone. If you like hiking, bike rides, swimming, pick something you won t hate and then do that as an activity. Also, write down all the foods that are healthy that you already like to eat. Then make and buy those foods. If you cheat, just forget about it, don t beat yourself up or feel despair. Realize everyone makes mistakes but I ve been doing so good with this and that and I m just gonna get back on track, no big deal. Never ever give up or think you are, even if you go on a two week binge. Try to make it as fun as possible to lose weight and you ll stick with it. Gardening, boxing, hiking, surfing, there are so many fun things to do, how long are you going to be able to do something you re going to be miserable with? Try and make it fun, don t weigh yourself all the time, take the pressure off. Say you want to be healthy as a goal instead of on a diet, this will trick your mind and not get it so stressed out when it hears the word diet. I have lost 20 pounds doing this. Also finding a trainer or nutritionist can keep you going when you want to give up.

1) Drink a glass of water before every meal. It fills you up so you don t over eat. Also drink a glass of cold water every morning - Your body burns calories by cooling down the water to make it useful to your body.2) Eat slowly - It takes your brain 20 minutes to realize you re full, so if you eat fast, you ll overeat.3) Never crash diet. Don t go under 1200 calories a day. It ll slow your metabolism down, and you won t be able to receive all the nutrients you need in a day. And once you do start eating normally again, you ll regain all the weight you lost immediately. Instead, take it slow and steady.4) Don t be a lazy bum. Do jumping jacks while watching TV, run laps around the coffee table - Just try to keep yourself moving. 5) Immediately after eating, pop a piece of cinnamon or mint gum in your mouth so you don t feel the urge to keep picking at your food.6) And don t beat yourself up if you had a bad day! Listen to your body - If you want something, have it! Just always remember to keep it in moderation. But don t deprive yourself, or you won t get ANYWHERE.7) Leave a couple bites left on your plate when eating. You can save calories by not eating every last bite.8) Substitute diet foods for regular foods - Skim milk for whole, low-fat cheese for full-fat cheese, light bread over regular bread, reduced calorie yogurt over regular yogurt, Splenda for sugar, etc.Check out Free Exercise Videos on Youtube

Well first, you will need to leave all greasy and sugar packed foods for, well, a long time. If you want to lose weight, you will need to do cardio workouts.runningjoggingswimmingjump ropeellipticalsand treadmillsdo one or more of these cardio workouts for 1 whole hr. Pick a day out of the whole week to be your rest day.Drink plenty of water, at least 6 to 8 glasses of water. And go on a diet of course. Eat foods that are high in fiber and protein. and make sure your calorie intake is no more or less then 1200 per day.If you work hard and dedicate yourself doing all this, you will shed those lbs in less then 3 monthsI lost 18lbs in a month and so. I m 19 and I weight 163 still trying to get a six pack.Anyways, best of luck.Don t feel back for being chubby, once you lose weight, you will transform yourself into a beautiful butterfly, no joke.

You shouldnt call yourself fat!I think your fine. But since you want to lose weight here are some of my lose weight tips :)-Diets:eat salads, or more fruits vegetables.DONT EAT ANY JUNK FOOD. Huge tip, please dont eat junk food. It will just make you gain more weight and much unhealther. Drinking milk also helps so, i suggest to drink some every night! It gives you a better sleep too.-ExcersizeIf there is a gym around the block, then go there and excersize there everyday. If you just want to excersize at home, then i suggest to do these type of stretches physical activities:Jumping JacksStretchingsPush-UpCurls Ups Running in Place.Do that everyday, for about 1-2 hours and you ll lose an amount of pounds.Hope this helps good luck :)

He badgers me to lose weight. Am I right to feel this is unfair? -

Here s the catch: we met and began seeing each other when I was already the same weight I am now. I am fairly heavy, yes, but I haven t gained ONE POUND since we met! My opinion is that he knew I was big when he got involved with me - if I was too fat for his taste, he could have chosen not to date me. He doesn t think it is a problem that he expects me to change myself just because he asked. For all you chubby-haters, I m not asking for weight loss tips. Nor am I blaming someone else for my weight. I am a big girl, I AM physically active, and I happen to like myself just fine the way I am.So, is if fair for him to expect me to lose weight for him? He s doesn t ask out of concern for my health, but rather because he wants a skinnier girlfriend.

You shouldn t lose weight for anybody but yourself. If he s not going to accept you for who you are, dump him. He s not worth it.

If he isnt happy with the way you are then he can hit the road and take his skinny-loving *** with him!

yea because he likes your personality but he doesn t find dating a blimp very attractive

Ask him what his problem is. Why would he date you if he had a problem with how you looked. Someone that is gonna be with you has to like all of you and shouldn t try to change you at all. he shouldn t expect you to lose weight just cuz he ahs been tellig you to. Tell him that if he wants a skinnier g/f that he needs to look somewhere else because your happy just the way you are.

I wouldn t change a thing. If you are happy with yourself, good for you.

The question is not if it is fair or not because that dosent matter the question is if you like him enough to change for him and if you dont then dont complain when he cheats on you with a skinny girl.

Personally I would tell him where he could stuff his diet food=) It is wrong of him to ask you to change...if it s your weight now I wonder what it will be tomorrow....dump his sorry ***.

Water and rice cakes will fix this. You should do whatever it takes to keep him.

It s very unfair for him to ask you this ..Well I have gained much weight since I first met my hubby 10 years ago and he sometimes cracks on my weight and I just laugh it off but I know if hurts me and he has also we have 3 kiddos so yeah I was not fortunate enough to be one of the fortunate to have stick figures right out of the hospital.. and always tell him if you keep on I might just lose 170 lbs (him). Do it if you feel like doing so for yourself not for anyone else....

He is being totally unfair. You don t have to change for anyone. Dump him, and find someone who likes you for you!

Hey, Please help me out here...? -

okay, I really wish to lose weight before school starts in September. I already lost 14-16 lbs. But I m stuck. I haven t lost any weight in the last half a month. Please give me some weight loss tips on how to lose 15 more.

well what ever you did to lose the fist bit of weight must have been good!! you have hit a wall, that is all. you can either just stick with what you are doing and eventually you will get past it, or a quicker way to beat it would be to change your exercise routine. you don t need dramatic changes, just try something new and different. if you walk every day, go for a swim once a week , try some light weights a few times a week, get a different exercise dvd etc etc. also don t forget how far you have all ready come, you have done an excellent job.good luck, keep it up

Here are a few tips;WHEN to eat for losing weight... ? Eat (at least) three times a day. Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight... you must eat (the right things, of course) ? Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.? Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try. OK, one apple after 18:00 ? Don t starve Starvation is not good for losing weight, nor your health. Starvation is the worse thing you can do in a weight loss diet. ? Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast--eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.WHAT to drink for losing weight... ? Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day ! Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water! This improves your bowel, reduces the hunger sensation, and hydrates your skin. Your skin will look much better after the first weeks! Don t believe the slogan water makes me fat . Beside being stupid... you might get into serious troubles with your kidneys. ? Drink ONLY natural juices, freshly squeezed! Don t drink Coca Cola, Pepsi, Spite etc. during the diet. Even lite or light versions. Exercise for losing weight... ? If you want quicker results - exercise would be good. ? Don t just sit in front of the TV and eat peanuts... I guarantee THIS won t work for your weight loss... ? Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don t be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants! ? Start swimming. Swimming is an excellent exercise to get involved with, since it increases blood flow and uses muscles we don t regularly use. Start a swimming program and try to do it 3 times a week. You will feel excellent and rejuvenated.? Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don t shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too?? Also Cardiovascular exercises such as running, jogging, or aerobics will help you lose that unwanted belly fat. Weight training can also help you lose body fat because the more muscle mass you have, the more ability your system has to burn body fat.Good luck!Hope this helps~

HelloFirst, I understand where you re coming from. Here s what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.The reality is that there are no shortcuts or easy ways to get in good shape. Sorry, but someone needed to tell you this.As long as you get conscious about what you are doing, you will see the results. Below you will find the four principles that you need to keep in mind in your weight-loss journey.http://theeverloss.blogspot.com/ 1.Forget About DietsPeople that go from diet to diet never reach a stable weight, let alone a good shape. The reason is quite simple: diets are, by their very nature, temporary. You cant expect to eat properly for two or three weeks and fix your weight problems for the rest of the year.2.Proper NutritionIf you want to keep your weight and fat percentage under control, you will need to learn the basics of nutrition. Once you learn them, you will be able to eat healthy throughout the year.3.Physical ExerciseEating healthy and having a caloric deficit will only take you half the way. The other key factor is physical exercise.4.Discipline and PerseveranceYou can start eating healthy and exercising properly, but unless you stick doing it regularly, the results wont appear (if they do, they wont last).Discipline and perseverance are key here.If you want to Lose Weight,I can recommend you to check outhttp://theeverloss.blogspot.com/ .It is a great program that helped me.

Weight loss tips/plans/suggestions/thoughts? -

This is kind of long, so please, bare with me.I am a 21 year old female. I am about 5 foot 3 inches. I weigh 289 pounds. When I graduated high school, I weigh about 180. So needless to say I ve never been SKINNY skinny. But never this big. After I graduated, I didn t think I needed to go to college, so I got a desk job as a data entry operator for 3 and half years. I gained about 100 pounds during that time. I can t stand to look at myself in the mirror. I have virtually no clothes that will fit, and I can t find any cute clothes. I look at myself in disgust. I refuse to be in pics. I have large (DD) breasts, and basically no hips/butt. I have a big stomach. My arms aren t very fat. (I have a little flab on the inner part.) I have muscular calves, and pretty muscular thighs. There is some fat on my inner thighs. My main problem is my stomach. I don t have a job now, so I can t afford to buy all these fancy diet pills and things. I guess what I m looking for is some tips, some encouragement on losing weight. I think I want to lose about 150 pounds... Is that an unrealistic goal?

it will take a while but if you stay focused and change your eating habits and get your exercise levels up anything is possible its all up to you!!

Anyone trying to lost weight fast should look into the Acai Berry. It is one of the most nutritional foods on earth. The high vitamins and anti-oxidents in Acai contributes to rapid weight loss.

wake up early, run, stop to eat oily food, take only fruits and juice,do yoga....

I was a high school wrestler then I weighed 191lbs I was solid I gained over 100lbs and was also disgusted when I looked at pics of myself but I recently started to take a more involved approach..well I had a little help from my doctors comments about early strokes and and such any way I started a you know what yeah the D , word but with this one I did not have to exercise and still lost nearly a pound a day you can check it out on my website I even left my phone number so people could call and verify.....Http://www.hcgdiditforme.com

Hi, Sasha.I don t think your goal is unrealistic. I do think it will take time and effort. If you can t afford programs or equipment, start with walking. If you don t like that or get bored, you can go to the library and check out exercise videos for free. Just take it easy to begin with so you don t hurt yourself and quit altogether. I m including a couple of links below to help you out.The first one takes you to Dani Johnson s website. Dani was 50 pounds overweight. In fact, her lifestyle was so bad she was actually gaining a pound a day! She was also homeless living out of her car. She started in business with $2.03 to her name when she was 21. She made $250,000 her first year and was a millionaire by age 23. She can equip you with the right frame of mind to tackle any challenge, including being overweight and unemployed. Go to her sight today and sign up for a free membership. It s the absolute best advice I can give you. Watch her videos to find out more about her story. The second link is to my personal resource for managing my weight. I drink a thermogenic (fat burning) energy drink 30 - 45 minutes before I eat lunch. It s very convenient because it s a powder that I mix with water. It tastes sorta like Hawaiian Punch, but not as good. ;) It cuts my appetite and gives me extra energy through the afternoon slump. I also take a low-cost, high quality liquid vitamin to make sure I m getting everything my body needs. You can learn more about both of them by clicking on the second link.Remember that your worth has nothing to do with the size of your waist or the size of your wallet. You are intrinsically and eternally valuable.Best wishes and good luck!
