How to lose weight the fastest way ? -

I am going on holiday in around 5 or 4 weeks and I would like to lose a bit of weight. I want a good easy diet that will make me lose weight and look ok for the holiday, is there any adviice in what to do to lose weight fairly fast before my holiday ???

Weight loss is an overall process and there are no magic answers. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. Vary your routines. Don t eat the same number of calories every day (vary your calories from 1400 a day to 1900 or 2000 some days), eat a variety of foods, and do different kinds and amounts of exercise. You will lose weight much more efficiently if you mix things up from time to time so that your body doesn t adjust to any one routine. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a few helpful links.http://www.nutrawatch.com/http://www.caloriesperhour.com/http://www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eahttp://www.wikihow.com/Lose-Weight-the-Hhttp://weightloss.about.com/cs/fitness/ahttp://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/fe

I girl I went to Middle School with lost a lot of weight in high school. She went from a size 10 to a 0 in a matter of a year and a half I believe. Or maybe it was just a year. What she did was ate when she was hungry and she run 2 miles a day. Any type of cardio will do. Just don t over eat but you HAVE to eat because your body is constantly burning calories. I wish you luck. And Im trying to lose weight also. But I have the whole summer for that,

replace sweet treats with healthy foods that have natural occuring sugars, such as fruits and some vegetables (peppers etc.) and your body will still get it s sweet fix. drink 8-10 glasses of water a day, it really does help! and try to do 30 minutes of exercise a day or 1 hour every other day - cardio vascular exercises are the best for weight loss all over the body (running, walking, cycling, cross-trainer/eliptical, rowing etc.) decrease portion sizes and stick to fresh foods that aren t packaged. good luck! xx

How to lose weight while on depo? -

I ve been on depo for a little while now... and yeah, of course, I ve gained some weight. I guess that my main question is: does being on depo slow down my metabolism in any way, or is my weight gain due soley to the increased appetite? Can I get rid of the excess weight with diet and exercise, or is the only way to lose the weight to go off of the birth control?

it does cause wight gain i had to get off of it and go to seasonale and that is the best pill i have found i have 4 periods out of a yr and no wight gain

My experience was that I had to get off birth control, I got an IUD and the weight came right off.

I was on depo for 3 yrs and experienced steady weight gain the whole time. Since i got off the depo the weight gain has stopped completely. If you read any of the online sites for depo they say that weight gain is a side effect of the shot. Depo is the worst birth control there is. It not only causes weight gain but it causes bone weakness. I wish someone would have told me about all the side effects when i was taking it. If you can I would get off of the shot and go to something else.

How to lose weight quickly and permanently? -

I have always had a problem with weight but mine as i have found out has to do with a condition (pcos) I didn t eat fast foods, fizzy drinks etc Don t think as your eating habits as a diet which you hope to stop when you loose enough weight, they don t work. The only way for you to loose wait like what i am achieving now is to change your whole life style for life. I am eating a low GI intake and type 2 diabetes diet. I no longer eat any dairy or wheat as this can sit in your stomach and swell which a lot of people don t release. Don t eat between meals except fruit and eat nothing after 7pm. Try slow realising foods. Eat smaller amounts. Exercise is the key, you don t have to go crazy and join a gym go for walks, cycle or join aerobic class etc Buy a medicine ball and some 1-1.5 kg weights to keep fit at home.I go to boxing training and do as many crunches, weights, medicine ball and spar as much as possible at home. Starting running when i get rid of chest cold

If you ve been on a strict diet for a long time I d say there s a chance your body has got used to the foods you are eating.Try eating something different - e.g. switch bread for Ryvita etc.I have also found that cutting out coffee helps for some reason.Try 5 different foods that you don t usually eat.Good luck!

I would suggest trying cleansing your body. I found cleansing to be the best weight loss program. I have ever tried. I lost 12 pounds in a week and 29 pounds in a month. I feel better since I removed the toxins from my body and shed some unwanted pounds. I did weight watchers, Jenny Craig and Medifast. I found that cleansing was the best since I saw results quickly and that kept me motivated to stick on the program. Healthy eating and some exercise. It really is a simple as that!

My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product (all natural) which I think helps a lot in the process (it s really good for detox, you ll feel much healthier). I recommend you check this website http://www.diet-easy-now.us , they have a free trial and you only pay $4.95 shipping and handling. Good luck!

oh Im kidding..............Is healthy eating and regular exercise............... and making sure you eat everything in moderation!!!Also finding out how much you are meant to weigh as people have a very weird perception somethimes of actually what they are meant to weigh! It has to be a natural weight for you! Good luck x

Quickly is rarely (if ever) permanent.I would suggest seeing your physician, if possible. They can help formulate a good diet, just for you, and an exercise plan. A dietician is another option - see your regular doctor for a referral. I lost quite a few pounds just changing my diet to one that suits me.Good luck.

Learning to eat well and exercise is the only solution to long-term weight loss. Check out http://use-weightloss.blogspot.com/ for all info regarding weight loss.

How to lose weight fast in 1 month? -

Im 14yrs old. I weigh 73kg. I really really want to lose weight so my father let me enroll in a Tennis Lessons.Any suggestions or recommendations would be highly appreciated.

Step 1: Cut down on the amount of processed sugars and carbohydrates you eat.Step 2:Consume only small portions of starchy grains and vegetables, such as brown rice, beans, corn, and potatoes. Try to limit yourself to only one small serving of a starch per day.Step 3:Eat one portion of lean protein with every meal, and two portions of veggies.Step 4:Varying your menu will keep you from getting bored. Also, using lots of fresh herbs and good quality spices will make your meals more flavorful without adding fat.Step 5:For exercise, if you havent exercised in a while, start with something low impact, like walking. If you can, walk somewhere hilly so that your level of excursion varies. Pair your cardio workouts with strength training. Lifting light weights will increase your muscle mass. More muscle means you will be burning more calories every day, even while at rest.

Step 1:First you want to walk when possible you do not need to jog just walk. Take a walk around the neighborhood. Jump on the trampoline with the kids. Try to get a least a little bit of physical activity.Step 2:You will need to eat a lot of cereal including oatmeal, tuna on wheat with a little mayonnaise, fish, grains, fresh fruit, and fresh vegetables. Step 3:You can still eat at fast food restaurants just eat a little healthier.Eat a grilled chicken salad with low fat dressing and drink water or a diet soda. Or eat a sandwich on wheat with lots of vegetables and turkey with low fat dressing or none at all. You can enjoy some of those high fat foods occasionally just not daily. Limit yourself to one every two weeks. Watch the pounds begin to shed.

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Eat only organic fruits for two weeksand jog for 2 to 4 miles every morning before you eat or do anything and you can lose about 15- 25 poundsDo the diet for 2 weeks and the jogging for a month and you will get results. Don t eat past 6:00 pm!!!!Drink Only Water that will help you loose weight or a Detox tea, or green tea.

Step 1:First of all cut back on sweetened soda and juice... these drinks have a lot of calories and the calories .Step 2:Cut back on breads and rice, carbohydrates. they have a lot of sugar which in turn can turn to fat plus they don t keep you filled as long.... eat foods high in protien and fiber... meats, greens, protien bars... high fiber bread.Step 3:the next key is exercise.. Start a walking club at work.... if you walk during your luncg break even if it is a 20 minute walk that adds up during the end of the week. get a wal in on the weekend or go to the gym a little here and there will make a difference over time . a few minor changes will really make a difference.

well something that work s really well is, the special k diet, just eat that everyday for breakfast and maybeeven lunch. i did itt and within less then a week i lost 6 pounds, now i am underweight but ohwell, its really yummy.(: and i would recomend berries and yogurt..(:

How to lose weight no purchase necessary? -

I want to loose just a little wait before the school year starts on september 7th. not to much just by then i would like to lose 10-15 pounds. but i don t want to have to order anything. Any ideas?

Try interval cardio exercises. For example, running... Warm up for about 5 minutes by jogging at a pace where you can keep a conversation and not lose your breath. Then start running at high intensity for 90 seconds. Immediately lower your pace to one where you are going slower, but a bit faster than your warm-up session (for a minute). Run at high intensity for another 90 seconds, then slow down for another minute. Repeat for another round. Now, that s just an outline of an average interval cardio session. Do what suits you or makes you comfortable. You can also google interval cardio training to learn more.
