What is a really good way to lose weight fast.? -

I ve been trying to lose weight. I m eating healthy and exercising when I can, but I can t seem to lose a large amount of weight. I think I need something different...

Weight loss happens slowly and over time, and is an overall process and there are no magic answers. You have to be patient. Slow weight loss is better. Pay no attention to weight loss supplements and pills and all the latest fads. You need to think about many factors but most of them are related to issues we ve known about for a very long time. There are many sensible things you can do that will make a tremendous difference over the long term if you need to lose weight. It can be done in a healthy way. This is what has worked for me.Keeping a food journal really does help. It will give you a much better sense of how much you are eating, and when, and why.Make a few additional small changes - walk everywhere, always use stairs instead of elevators, walk on escalators, get up and move around at least once an hour if your work or your life in general is sedentary, walk every day, use a pedometer. Walking 10,000 steps a day is a really good idea. Build up to a long brisk walk everyday, or most days. Be more active and watch less TV and spend less time on the computer. Buy one piece of exercise equipment to have at home and be strict with yourself about using it. Sometimes you can find mini-steppers or exercise bikes at second hand stores and thrift stores for just a few dollars.Start a weight lifting routine. Join a gym. Possibly you can find one that has someone who specializes in weight lifting programs for beginners. Weight lifting will increase your metabolism as well as improve posture and appearance overall. Even if you can t get to the gym you can work out at home using things around the house. Invest in a good weight training book. The Dummies series actually has a good one. In terms of diet, cut out or reduce things like junk food, pop, fat, fast food. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean meat, fish. Particularly if you choose a vegetarian lifestyle include natural peanut butter, hummus, dried fruit and nuts. Pay close attention to getting the nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Make your portion sizes smaller. Use a smaller plate - in our society we have become accustomed to thinking that we need a large plate of food at every meal, and we don t. About quarter of your plate of food should be protein and at least half of it should be veggies. Learn to count calories. At your current weight and activity level, you may possibly need about 2000 calories or more to maintain your current weight. So you will lose weight at a reasonable and healthy rate if you cut back to about 1600 or 1700 calories a day. Eat small amounts frequently, rather than three large meals. Never skip breakfast. Include some protein in your breakfast. It will help get you through the day.Drink plenty of water, at least 8 big glasses of water a day, and more if it is very hot, if you sweat a lot, or if you are exercising intensely, and eliminate fruit juices. Fruit juices have too many calories, so get your vitamins from fresh fruit, not the juice. You will begin to see changes in your body. An area that many people overlook is getting enough sleep. You are much more likely to overeat or to binge eat if you are tired and not well rested, so get enough sleep.Check out websites about nutrition, exercise, weight training, etc. Here are a few helpful links.http://www.nutrawatch.com/http://www.caloriesperhour.com/http://www.helpguide.org/life/healthy_eahttp://www.wikihow.com/Lose-Weight-the-Hhttp://weightloss.about.com/cs/fitness/ahttp://www.webmd.com/fitness-exercise/fe

If there is still sugar in your diet, cut it out completely and see if you notice a difference. Also, if you are slowly losing weight, that is very, very good. It means that you are making a lifestyle change and that weight will stay off for good. Just stick with it and the weight will eventually come off.

Need to lose weight fast and safe. Help!? -

Hello. I am obese and still in high school. I weight 250 pounds, and this is very depressing. I want to lose weight fast and safe. I also need something to keep me motovatited. Can anyone help me?

Run or do any cardio for an hour and a half a day,and drink lots of water. If you drink soda and eat more than 5 junk foods a week, you need to stop eating and drinking them completely.Good luckxoxo,?blondie?

Sure i got this awesome thing from a friend of mine!-- Do cardio in the morning on an empty stomach, this is when your glycogen stores are depleted and will force your body to pull from your fat stores for energy. This will give your metabolism a boost early in the morning and help regulate your appetite for the day.-- Look up High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) for you cardio. This can be adopted to any type of cardio (running, elliptical, bike, etc)-- Wait for about 45 min to 1 hr before eating after your cardio to allow for further fat metabolism.-- Make sure that you are drinking more water than you think you need. I would suggest to start out at about 3/4 gallon. This is going to make sure that your body doesn t hold any excess water. If you drink to little water, you body will actually hold extra water as a survival mechanism.-- Work your abs every other day at most just as you would with any other muscle-- As mentioned previously, aim for 4-6 small meals/ snacks per day evenly spaced. This will keep your metabolism level up.-- and finally, your diet is going to have to be a major focal point as this WILL make or break your goal! Try eating Total cereals for breakfast and eat balanced meals! Seafood and lemon are also very good!Keep focused on your goals and your head high!

I know it s discouraging when you feel like you have a lot to lose, but there is no safe fast way to lose. You aren t supposed to lose more than 2lbs a week. That would be a good thing anyway since it will allow your skin time to adjust. Weight Watchers is a great program. If you can t get to meetings, they have an online way too. It will teach you how to control portions and work treats in. It s a lifestyle, not a diet. That way you won t feel deprived because you are learning to eat for life. Otherwise, increase exercise, and cut portions until you get the hang of it. If you get an inexpensive calorie counter if you don t do the WW points, that can help too. Log everything you eat and you will see where you go wrong. It s not easy. Don t look for a magic number just take it one day, one week at a time and rejoice in small changes. You will feel better just getting active and knowing you are doing something.

My girlfriend claimed she needed to lose some weight and so she searched and searched for something that would do exactly that. She came across the link below and so far has lost 18 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. She s happy, even though I thought she didn t even need to lose the weight in the first place. Hope this helps... I know it helped her.

ok.. well maybe every 10 pounds u lose treat urself to, a sugar free jamba juice with an energy boost.make it fun. ride a bike, treadmills are kinda fun to. excersise an hour every day starting with sit ups and push ups. start out small. also eat things that are healthy, but taste good. smart start cereal, fruit smoothies, [no sugar] it will make a difference. but u need to be patient. it doesn t happen over night.

jump rope twenty minutes a day...cut back on food...no sodas or sweets or fatty junk food...eat real, nutritious food you have to prepare...btw, jumping rope for 20 minutes is equal to an HOUR of cardio...after a few weeks of this, start adding light weights to your routine...also, drink tons of water...good luck! It should be easy if you are really motivated...pounds melt off when you are young...better do it now...when you are older it is way more difficult

maybe you should join a gym so you can get a personal trainer who will motivate you and push you!eat healthy, and there is no FAST way, its going to take time.unless you get lipo or something, but don t do that

take abs= (its all natural)go to:http://www.genuinehealth.com/english/

you can exercise, or run 30 min at day and you have to eat balanced food

Eat helthy and exersise???I don t know I m not fatnot thatI m offending you or anything like itI just don t know

laxatives help a lot

How can i lose weight fast? -

like im not fat. im not likee super skinnyy, but im normal, but i really dont like my body how can i just lose like a few pounds and tighten everything up?

Lose weight and tighten everything up by getting into weight training.

1 Dietary control and exercise. Its true what they say - all you need to do is watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume. Its really that simple. You can quit reading this list now, you now know everything you need to know and didnt need to fork over $500 for the privilege of me telling you the secret of losing weight. You dont need to read a 4,000 page book, you dont have to buy a tape series, you dont need to stay up late at night to watch infomercials to understand this basic premise. Its 100% true.2 Change your lifestyle. If youre calling this a diet, then youre going to gain all the weight back (and more) within a few months of losing it. Diets do not work. Diets are temporary. When you change your dietary lifestyle, however, youre changing your habits - and youre putting yourself on track for long-term / continued success and weight maintenance. Dont ever tell anybody youre on a diet - ever. Im speaking from experience, here - a reformed low-carber. Worked out well for a while, but ultimately failed because my entire lifestyle didnt change (permanently).3 Join an online support group. In my case, I created my own - FatBlasters. Its essential that you not feel alone, and reaching out to friends (new or old) is typically a smart move. I just heard about PeetTrainer, but didnt know about it when I began down the road to weight loss. You have to know that others are out there for moral support - they know things that you couldnt possibly know, and theyve probably been in your shoes at some point in the past (or present). Share stories, laughter, tears, successes, and failures - share them. There are thousands of communities out there, so keep looking until you find the one that fits you.4 Take before and after photos. I know it sucks to see yourself as a chunky monkey (sorry, thats what I called myself - if only to get myself motivated to meet my weight loss goal). However, theres no easier way to illustrate your progress. The after photos are far more fun to capture and share, admittedly. Find yourself on Flickr! Its good to see yourself how others see you. Do you like how you look? In many ways, Flickr helped me lose weight.5 Hire a substitute teacher. Dont reach for the brands you know and love immediately - or without thinking first. Eggs are good for you, but consider using egg substitutes instead (in fact, many restaurants will let you order lower calorie foods). There are countless lower alternatives for you to try. If something different doesnt taste good, by all means - find a better substitute, or eat less of the original. In some cases, the substitute may be worse for you than the regular version of the product. The good news is, healthier choices are silently replacing their normal counterparts - and they taste just as nice.6 Start reading labels. I know it sucks, but you have to do it - and theres no way to avoid this tip. If you dont know what youre putting in your mouth, youre flying blind. Dont assume, either - triple-check the ingredients list and serving sizes. You must rely on yourself for this; nobody else is going to be able to lose the weight or do the math for you. Its not that complicated a task, but it will require effort. If nothing else, just pay attention to the calorie count.7 Whats so funny about bovines? If you like cheese, you must buy the Laughing Cow brand, and keep several of the suckers in stock at all times. The individually-wrapped wedges make for excellent snacks, and are wonderful when melted over just about anything edible. Id be careful about straight-up American cheese, though - its oil, but not necessarily as good for you as (say) a slice of cheddar would be. I have yet to find something as calorie-light and filling as Laughing Cow (I dont know how they do it).8 Tell your family. Youre not going to lose the weight alone, even if you ARE alone in losing the weight. If youve got a family at home, talk to them about it - initially, not incessantly. Let them know what youre going to do, and that you want (and need) their support. If you dont let them know, youre running the risk of them inadvertently sabotaging your efforts. You want them to help you get to your goal(s). You want them to share in your happiness when youve made it past a certain mark. Who knows? Maybe some of your new habits will rub off on them and theyll become healthier people, too?

Hi !I have answered this question so many times that I now just copy and paste my story !If you want to loose fat, I suggest eating a well balanced diet.Grilled or baked lean meats, fruits, fiber, vegetables, water and un - salted nuts. Exercise 5 days of the week, alternating with cardio and strength training. Do not cross out anything from your diet , save the 2 days that you do not work out for being able to eat junk foods. You will not over indulge, after 2 weeks of eating a well balanced diet, on the 2 off days you have, you will not want as much junk food. I lost 105 pounds in 1 year by eating this this way.

I would say avoid fast results and take your time. I know you don t want to hear that and I have been there too. Get on a clean diet, as in eating a good ratio of proteins/carbs/fats and add some cardio.First off I would use a BMR calculator to find how many calories you need to maintain your weight, then slice off a few hundred cals and add some cardio. You WILL see results in a few weeks. Plus you will be alot healthier. bodybuilding.com s forums is an excellent source of knowledge if your interested...

you can loose weight by making excercises daily. Go on a banana eating or something like that once every morning. And eat a balanced diet.

this week I tried hydroxycut - I seriously lost 5 lbs!although I worked out constantly and skipped dinner
