How can I lose weight quickly? -

I want to lose 15 pounds by Christmas. First, is this possible, and if so, what is the best way to do it?

Yes, its possible. Workout everyday. Especially do lots of cardio like running or elliptical. To get it off the quickest do a good weight lifting routine then do your cardio as you ll be in the fat burning zone hardcore doing that. Eat clean. No fast food or excessive fat/carbs. Lots of protein. Don t consume alcohol or eat late at night (past say, 8pm). Drink tons of water. It can be done but will take serious commitment on your part. Good luck and don t be discouraged if you don t get all 15lbs off. as long as you re on the right track

Let me first ask you a question my friend.Did you get all your extra pounds in a week?I think your answer should be No.Then how is it possible to even think that you can loose it so quickly?Well to my knowledge i think there is no fast process to do this but it s for sure that others will tell you o yes, this way possible, that way possible, bla bla!!The main theme behind extra pounds/weight that your body has is definitely related to the cholesterol of your body. The less cholesterol your body has,the less fat your body has and the less fat your body has, the less weight or pounds your body has, simple as that.So i think you should better know something good about cholesterol and try to balance it, and surely you will be seeing good results. The following site I came cross might help you to get the basic theme of cholesterol, what it does, and how to keep that in balance for your body to have a better shape. And stop eating junk foods and unhealthy dinners and you will be fine.

its all about calories. so you need to find out your BMI, which u can usually find this on a BMI calculater off the internet and them see how many calories your own body burns in a day. then exercise at least 5 times a week. add up the calories, and you should be buring at least 2 to 3 pounds a week (3500 calories = 1 pound) good luck!!!

Quit eating. No really eat less and go to the gym. For health reasons you should not loose more than 2-3 pounds a week, so 15 by CHRISTmas will be a little hard unless you are quite a bit over weight. As long as you burn more calories than you take in you will loose weight. You need to burn about an extra 3500 calories a week to loose a pound (I think)

I am 58-59 and starting a weight loss program - I need a goal!? -

What weight do you think looks good and healthy for a medium build girl at that height. I am currently FAT at 260, but I want to be perfect! (AND I WILL BE) I just have to set a goal with the program, and I don t know what to set.

well 5 9 is pretty tall so to be a nice weight that you feel comfortable at I would say around 170-180 but to be nice and super thin it would be around 140-150

well, keep setting different goals. start out at 240. once you reach that goal, make your new goal 220. Then 200. Then 180. So, just keep changing it as you go. Then, once you are happy about the way you look, try to maintain that weight. Good luck =)

I m 5 10 and at my max I was 165 but I felt chubby and began working out and eating healthy and now I m at 135, hopefully getting down to 130 again. At my lowest I was 122.

You shoud aim for a goal of around 150 lbs.

I say 175. You are tall. I don t know how you are shaped but 175 is a nice solid weight.

Weight loss help....? -

Alright, well. I HAVE to lose weight, very soon. I ve been struggling with it for my whole life, and I feel like everyone around me is giving up on me, and I ve done so many diets. So I m going to have to keep trying on my own. What can I do? Something I ll be able to do without pills, a weight loss program, nothing like that. Just simple. Thanks.

3 things and 3 things only. Nutrition, Weight Training and Cardio.Nutrition - 6 small meals a day. Nothing after 7pm. No junk or white breads. Green teaWeight Lifting - 1 1/2 hours a day, mon thru satCardio - 45 minutrs before breakfest or after workout or both

just watch what you put in your mouth, NEVER allow yourself- oh this ONE cookie won t hurt... NO junk, and eat nutritious... thats what the weight watchers people said at my moms meeting

Jenny, try small changes to your eating habits like wholewheat bread and pasta instead of white, brown rice instead of white and eating baked chicken/fish instead of fried. Make sure to include lots of vegetables with every meal. Drink water instead of soda/juice throughout the day so that your hydrated. Try and be active at least an hour a day even walking through the mall can burn calories and be beneficial to your health.Hope this helps!

well defin. you should use something aerobic(that speeds up your heartrate).. like the stairmaster, treadmill, elliptical ..now that being said i d personally recommend the elliptical since it works out more (ur arms, thigh, butt, lower back, and arms) for ur time.. not to mention since it does that it helps you burn more calories for your time working out...maybe work out about 2hrs a week however you want to do .. like two days one hour each.. or maybe 4 days 30min eachthen when you find that your starting to stay longer without getting so tired.. add a little more time .. also ... unlike common misconception you could work out with wieghts and not look all bulk u cant look very musclar only lean yourself and tighten (freeweights or machine) prob. since ur beginner i d say machine weights..so the machine. like these-http://athletic-scholarships.net/gym%202try do work with a weight lets say 5lbs in which u can do lets say 10 times (each time you do one lets it s called repetition-rep for short..so10 reps when you complete these reps thats called one set...then rest.. for about 10-15sec..then another 10 times.. (so ur starting on ur 2nd set.)etc.. for the first day and try to increase about 1 rep every time.. then when u about doubled the amount of reps.. increase the setsfor ex. after a while u will do1set of 202nd set of 20then u will add a third set.. and lets say increase it to 5 more reps.. then increase this one till it gets to 20 then and then once u have 3 sets of 20 reps.. or 4 u add more weight.. to lets say to 10lbs..and so onthe key is to keep increasing when ur body adapts.. like in time when it comes to aerobic, and increase reps and weights and sets..BUT AT YOUR OWN PACE.. THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE..

Has anyone been successful with the slim in 6 weight loss program? -

No but try Hip Hop Abs. Works great.I lost 25lbs in 3 weeks but stopped when I found out I was pregnant again. Due in 2 months. I did the work out 5 days a week. I think as long as you stick to it you will do great. With this program though you lose weight all over so dont expect to see just change in one certain area.Youll be sore after the first few days but as long as you push yourself and get through it, its worth it.Good Luck!

I have been trying to lose weight for years. Last year I finally decided that it was time for me to lose the weight that has plagued me for years. I won t lie, it took some work but I managed to lose over 40 lbs. One supplement I used that really helped me is the Acai Berry. Hopefully, this gives you some motivation.

Haven t heard of anyone having success on it. Try this: Make a lifestyle change. Eat less, move more. Eat four to six meals a day with breakfast being the largest and dinner the smallest. Eat the majority of your calories earlier in the day. Avoid sodas and junk foods.

tried it, doesn t work

Alli weight loss program...? -

does it really work as advertised?i m desperate!weight 250lbs which is obese and starting to effect my over all health and i just became a mommy! i want to be an active healthy mommy not one of those fat ones you see yelling at there kids.please did it or any other weight loss program help you lose weight?and no i can t aford anything too expensive..thanks!!!!

You shouldn t trust any programs. You can lose about 1-3lbs a week with these 10 steps.1. Cut out all junk foods and fatty foods. 2. Drink about 10 cups of water a day.3. Eat lots of vegetables and have fruits in moderation. (not too many because of their sugar content)4. Try to exercise at least 30 minutes 5 days a week.5. Don t skip meals and enjoy your foods in smaller portions.6. It depends on how old you are, but try to eat about 1500 calories a day. (more or less, depending on how old you are)7. Eat leaner foods, but never have them fried.8. Also, try lots of whole grain foods. (not too much though!)9. Also, drink at least 1 cup of skim milk/ fat- free milk/ 2% milk a day to increase muscle.10. You can enjoy sweets (like chocolate, candy, brownies, etc) in moderation, but never go all out. xD Try the small, but simple 100 calorie snacks.

I was 250lbs. I lost 80lbs about 3-4 years ago and have kept it off.My weight loss program? Hard cardio 6x a week, hard lifting 6x a week, no processed food, no processed sugars, and yoga 2-4x a week. Sounds like a lot, but the goal was high intensity training, so you do it for less time. I spent less time in the gym the whole week than most people spend at the gym in two (or even one) days. You just have to actually do it. Alli works by not allowing you to absorb all the fat you eat, which means that you MUST change your diet if you don t want to lose control of your bowels. But if you MUST change your diet for Alli to work...uh...why not just save the money and just change your diet? lolShoot me an email if you have more questions.

My friend took Alli and she said that she was on the toilet alot. Sounds more like a laxative than anything.

You can try some tips that I got from browsed a blog like below http://the-summer-weight-loss.blogspot.comHope can help you or any members that intend to loose their weight.
