I know that diet pills arent the healthiest, but whats the best one you can take? -

I ve never liked when people take diet pills to lose weight because I believe in doing it naturally and in a healthy way. But, I am going to start going to the gym and want to whip my body into shape fairly fast to get it to what it somewhat used to look before I had my son. So, my questionS are:--Have you tried diet pills, if so, which one(s) worked/didn t work best for you?--Are there any health risks involved? --Is there such thing as a healthy weight loss pill?

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Why is weight loss impossible for me? -

I ve been dieting for over a year and a half now and I don t have much to show for it. I lost 23lbs within the first 3 months of dieting but, since then, I can t lose any more weight. I m currently 5 8 and at 245lbs. I exercise 5 days a week with a mix of cardio and weight training. Some of the weight loss programs I ve tried:Quick Weight Loss (lost muscle mass from that)Medi Weight Loss (500 calorie a day diet supervised by a doctor)Belly Off DietClean Eating DietAtkins DietZone DietSouth Beach DietA few plans from the Men s Health magazineA few diets I ve found on the internetAll of these diets have been coupled with a strong exercise program. I ve also been very strict with my dieting, eating exactly what I m supposed to. I ve also recently applied for weight loss surgery (banding) but my insurance won t cover it and it s $300 just for the consult. I m desperate. I need help, but even seeing dietitians and doctors haven t helped and I can t afford surgery.

It can be a LOT of things. First, get blood work for your thyroid. Second, measure body fat. You could be losing fat and gaining muscle. Also, I would increase ice-cold water in take. A trick I use when I plateu is increase calories by 1,000 and double water, and work it all off with extra exercise.

You must have right information if you want to lose weight. You can tried method that I lost 23 pounds in 35 days. It works amazing and It will work for you too. You can find more information at http://bit.ly/ksjdb1

I need 2 lose about 20 lbs by march 26.. is that even possible? -

im 13 years old and...i know i know way 2 young 2 diet i dont need 2 yeah i know. im not talking like diet pills or fasting but i need to find a healthy way 2 lose weight.. maybe a jump start from the whole diet excersising = healthy weight loss thing

You won t lose that much weight in that short period of time in a healthy way. You need to change your lifestyle in order to achieve any kind of long term weight loss. Any quick fixes you will regain the weight and that is a fact.

Read tips articles on different types of diets, exercise programs, yoga much more....All about weight loss, weight watchers, Tea diets, easy home exercises to name a few

20 pounds in 30 days sounds serious!I knew guys in Army basic training who lost more than 40 pounds in 8 weeks. BUT! They ate 3 square meals a day and were under constant supervision. Needless to say, the exercise program was first-rate! LOLI d really check with your parents and a doctor before you try and set that goal for yourself.

You could completely cut out carbs and sugars. You will definitely drop 15-18 pounds in that period of time.

Sorry to say you can t loose that much weight in that amount of time. You shouldn t diet as that is a short term thing, you should just change your lifestyle habits as much as you can. cut out the sugary drinks, chocolate bars etc. Join a team and do some sports to get exercise, take the dog for a walk. Just little steps.Ask your mum/dad/whoever cooks to buy healthier foods - it will do you all good. The key is to take little steps and have realistic goals to losing weight and getting fit otherwise you will just keep failing at it and then you will constantly be depressed and think it is impossible.Good luck!

13 is a very young age to start a diet, and unless you are seriously overweight I would strongly advise you not to start anything without talking to your doctor. At that age your body is still developing and many girls that are not overweight mistake things like their hips spreading and gaining curves as gaining weight. At this age, it is important that you get enough vitamins and other nutrients. If you are overweight, you should forget the idea of a diet and see your doctor about a lifestyle change. If you re eating lots of junk food (fast food, cakes, candies, cookies, and sodas) then you might consider cutting back on those things. Eat more fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. Also drink lots of water. These are things you should do at any age whether you re trying to lose weight or not. Also, a treat every now and then will not hurt you.If you are not exercising, you should start doing something light (like walking 20 minutes a day) and work up to doing more. Also, try to find something you like to do like dancing, running, aerobics, etc.Safely losing 20 lbs. in a month probably isn t a reasonable goal. At your age, it is really important to talk to your doctor about a weight loss program and what would be a healthy weight for you.

Exercise too little? -

Last year I was exercising a little too much that i ran myself down. I lost a lot of weight but unfortunately i ve gained some of it whilst taking a break from exercise. My new regime allows me to work out (weight train) 3 days a week and cardio other days where as my old program gave me a weight training workout 5 days a week. Will this new program be sufficient for healthy weight loss as my body still contains some of the muscle I built all those months ago?

If you got run down, it was not because of the amount of exercise you were doing. Look at professional athletes and dancers. They spend, maybe, six to eight hours a day exercising hard without getting run down. The problem might be poor diet or lack of sleep or who-knows-what. If you get that run down feeling again, go to your family physician.Meanwhile, here are some diet and fitness links that you will find helpful.Ideal body weight calculator for children and adults: http://pediatrics.about.com/cs/growthchaBody Mass Index calculator for children and adults: http://www.keepkidshealthy.com/welcome/bThis web site from the National Institutes for Health tells how to take charge of your weight: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/weighHere is a page that explains how to eat a balanced diet for different calorie levels. Anyone know where you can but adipex online and they bill you for it?? -

Yeah, so I have been on Adipex for over a month in a half to prepare for my wedding which was the 12th...I am out and I am not a canidate for the weight loss program anymore. Can ya ll help?!?!? I found a site a few days ago, but I lost it, and they bill you for your pills!!!

You must be really careful, especially when phentermine has become a highly controlled drug and it is actually illegal to sell it online. There is nothing wrong with phen if you get it with a prescription from your doc. Also there are some non-controlled meds that you can still get online and get the real deal, but I personally think that 99% of the pharmacies pushing phen online are scamsThis is a good source that describes and reports some of the online phentermine scams.. but there are many others out there...

Phentermine is highly regulated these days. It s next to impossible to get it, even over the internet, without a prescription. And even if you do find a site, it s probably not a reputable one. Scammers are starting to post links even here on yahoo answers (Scam sites are selling fake pills that just sound like phentermine - phenhermine, phentrimine and many more..)The only way is to get it from a doctor.None of the people I know who once ordered phen online still do it. The good online pharmacies have stopped selling it, and just scammers areleft who gladly take an advantage of this situation. If you will find a real and reliable source where you can still order the real stuff online then you will be very, very lucky. Just keep fingers crossed the pharmacy will be in business until your order arrives, because it can get closed any moment..I stopped using phen 9 months ago andstarted to take acomplia after I quit phen. It also works fine for me and I am losing a pound or a few every week.It is very popular in UK, Germany and many other countries worldwide. Not so much in the US yet. This is good site for Acomplia info if anyone s interested

Is this healthy? -

i used be about 204-5 last november, but about 4 weeks ago I started to work out more, and i m down to 192 now. I want to know, is that healthy weight loss? or should i be losing more/less? btw, i m fourteen at 5 ft 10in.

It is very healthy and you are losing weight the right way. You can figure on a 2 to 3 pound weight loss when you are eating the right foods and doing exercises. Congrats.

It s good that you are trying to lose weight! You should try to take it slowly though, 192 is a bit much for 4 weeks, just exercise and eat healthy and keep it up. TAKE IT SLOWLY THOUGH!!!!!

you are doing good eat health food and make exercise

Great job!! Keep it up girl. At your age you need to loose a few more pounds. God Bless.

Looks like healthy weightloss to me! Keep it up chick!! :D [claps for you]And being between 110-130 or whatever Bob said is NOT healthy for everyone. There are other factors besides AGE. :-p

you are doing fine keep going, the 1st 2 weeks of weight loss is usually the liver, after that it gets harder to lose weight

It s sounds pretty balanced....as long as you re not starting to feel bad (dizzy, tired, etc...) it should be an o.k. pace to continue.

wow i think thats good! keep it up!

you need to lose way more weight(no offense) the average weight for a fourteen year old is about 110 to 130 pounds.

Yes that s normal, you will find your weight loss will slow down, but don t lose faith, keep it up.

dang

I heard that healthy weight loss is two pounds a week, and anything more than that is unhealthy or just water weight.

YAY!! good job!that s totally healthy and i m so happy for you all the way!

good! keep it up!!!!!

Sounds fine to me. Good luck

Sounds good :)Now that you have lost some initial weight, aim to lose 1 to 2 lbs per week. It s better for the body and sustainable. Rapid weight loss is fine for the first few weeks, but then it must slow.

Can anyone give me weight loss advice? -

I am a female between 5 3 and 5 4 and I weight 237 pounds (about 107.5 Kilos). I am tired of being overweight can you give me some advice on healthy weight loss. What is the healthy weight for my height? I want to burn fat and tone up. I have started to modify my diet like eating more fruit and less junk food, and a group of friends and I are starting to work out at the college we go to. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Any work out tips? Thanks in advance Zim

As of may 2007, I was 6 ft, 210 pounds and I excersized a lot.. and now i m 185.. here is how: I stopped excersizing, and I started to lose weight..Then I stopped eating food except a small tiny bits every day, and I started dropping weight.. but then I started making myself throw up and I started losing lots of weight fast.. and now its been many months since then and i m 185.. So there you have it, that was the technique I learned, and it worked great for me :)

Energy In/Energy OutFood Intake: 1,200 Per DayOne Pound equals 3,500 CaloriesTo loose one pound per day, You need to burn your food intake plus your one pound of fat1,200 (intake) + 3,500 (Outtake) = 4,700 Calories BurnYou must burn at least 4,700 Calories everyday to loose one pound at least. It is very easy to go up and beyond 4,700 calories each day.Best way to do this is to track your progress on a calorie counter monitor watch. If you do it by the numbers you can loose the weight. It is just a matter of changing the way you think about weight loss.

a healthy weight goal for your height, depending upon your build and muscle mass, would probably be between 120 and 140. adding fruit is a great start. also, pay attention to how much alcohol you drink because drinks are almost always loaded with calories. really pay attention to portion sizes. i know that cutting back to a normal portion size on things like pasta can seem extreme (where a serving is about a half or a cup), but it really makes a big difference in the amount of food you consume. if you need more help figuring what and how much to eat, you might want to try a diet like the zone or weight watchers. i don t really think it s necessary, but i know a lot of people who enjoy and benefit from the structure. i would really suggest counting calories if that s what you mainly struggle with - even if it s only for the very beginning. 1200-1500 calories a day is pretty standard for weightloss plans. you should probably aim to lose about 1-2 pounds per week, so you need to cute 3500 - 7000 calories a week. that means you need to eat 500-1000 fewer calories a day. i know that might sound intimidating, but cutting out things like soda (if that s difficult try replacing it with diet) and mixing juices with part water. also, eat more filling foods - lots of fiber will keep you feeling full longer. a lot of people suggest eating five small meals a day but i m in college and i know how difficult that is - usually it ends up being two huge meals. if it helps, plan out what you will eat the next day and when. good luck and i wish you all the best!

Congratulations on choosing a healthier life and happier you :-).Using shape.com s ideal weight calculator, your ideal weight is 124 and 138.Diet: You really need to see a nutritionist as this is a HUGE question with a LONG answer....to start, I see you said less junk food, and if you re serious about losing weight, you really need to omit junk food all together, along with simple sugars/carbs, sugary drinks and soda (including diet). You can get more info on this by researching online, reading books, etc. Start incorporating healthier snacks like almonds, apple w/ peanut butter, etc. so you don t starve and get tempted to eat junk. If you mean business ransack your home and dump/donate ALL unhealthy foods/drinks TODAY!Ideas? Personally, I d start by keeping my calories btw 1600-1700 calories with 3 small meals 2-3 snacks a day. My exercise would consist of 60 mins of cardio 4-5x week and strength training 2-3x week. For cardio, running burns the fat off really well, but if that s too challenging, go for a brisk walk. Too hard on the joints? Swim. Bored? Take a dance class, play a sport, go for a hike, etc. I d start with a home gym with free weights/dumbbells and an exercise ball to start. I find workout videos are a GREAT way to get started in the privacy of your own home...(ex. netflix, blockbuster, etc.). There are some great cardio and strength training video out there.Well, best of luck....here are a few quotes that keep me in check... Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels Pain is weakness leaving your body If I starting working out when I first thought of it, I d be done by now It s just one hour, one hour and I can lay around without feeling guilty :-) Hope this helps...

Hello Zim, there s a New Gal in town and her name is Dr Suzanne! And she s done something no one has ever done before:She s found the REAL way to lose FAT, be HEALTHY, and yet still eat whatever you want!In fact, she s even had death threats aimed against her because what she s really done has ticked off the Powers-That-Be (including drug companies and weight-loss food manufacturers). Here s how her new TOP Secret Fat Loss Secret works:Dr Suzanne discovered something that a small group of other doctors are just now catching on to.Namely that ALL sicknesses and diseases (including Obesity) start in the intestines (your colon). This happens because of toxic build-up due to your body being unable to get rid of a small amount of what you eat in every single meal or snack you take in.And over time, this little left over bit starts to add up - and BIGTIME!It works basically like this:You eat say 100 units of toxins in every meal or snack. You poop-out most of it -- say 99 units.Subtracting means you have 100 - 99 = 1 left over toxic unit.Over 1,000 such snacks or meals you end up having 1,000 toxic units in build-up. Although each small meal or snack may seem meaningless to you, these built-up stores of toxins cause your body to equally build-up FAT.Why?To protect you from the poisonous toxins. That s right! The extra pounds are your body s way of putting a big rubber tire of insulation between YOU and the bad junk. And once you have BOTH extra fat stores and toxins you re in BIG TROUBLE!What then happens is you fall vulnerable to every kind of sickness and disease. And this pattern is what s been happening now for the better part of 50 years (more so in the United States than perhaps anywhere else on earth!)Before 1954 in fact, people ate much fattier foods, full of greasy cholesterol and oils, yet the number of people who suffered diabetes, cancers, strokes and just about everything else, pales compared to today! So the guilty party had little to nothing to do with all the so-called bad foods -- and pretty much went completely unnoticed. Unnoticed until Dr Suzanne began studying the problem. You see, Dr Suzanne comes from a family of chunky people -- yet despite this she is very lean and even sexy! People who meet her think she s some kind of aerobics trainer or someone who starves themselves half to death -- but that s NOT the case at all!Dr Suzanne doesn t really exercise that much, and she even eats like a pig! (according to one close friend and insider ).So how is this possible?Luck? ... Hardly!Dr Suzanne discovered that if you simply get rid of the same amount of toxins and JUNK going in, you never end up getting the toxic build-up in the first place. And NO toxic build-up means absolutely NO disease, and NO extra pudge around the middle, butt, or love handles, nor the armpits or the backs of the legs.Going back to our little equation above, we get:1,000 toxic units - 1,000 toxic units = 0 toxic unitsAnd when you have 0 toxic units, you have 0 toxic build-up.And of course, when you have 0 toxic build-up, you have 0 disease, and 0 extra fat! But what is more surprising than this discovery is the fact that even though she (and a growing number of other newly enlightened doctors) has mountains of evidence supporting this, the mainstream medical establishment is out to get her just likeprosecutors in the notorious Salem Witch Trials! Short of trying to burn her at the stake, other doctors would rather keep selling you toxic drugs -- that although eliminating one symptom cause who only knows how many other very damaging and even dangerous conditions? Also, not surprisingly, weight-loss food companies would equally like some evil to befall the lovely Dr Suzanne. I guess it s just a matter of economics, suggests Dr Suzanne, after all, if people follow my advice they will never get sick in the first place, they will never get fat, and therefore they will have little need or dependency on either other doctors or specialdiet foods. And this means a major loss in income to doctors and food manufacturers -- and in terms of BILLIONS of dollars lost to them!So serious this has become that Dr Suzanne recently suffered death threats -- believed by at least one federal law enforcement agency to have originated from high up in the world of big business from the drug empires (and I don t mean the illegal drug dealers, but the legal drug dealers!) Officials won t say yet who their chief suspects are -- and most likely the whole matter will become hushed up all too soon.Hushed up because:1. The powerful drug companies are certainly rich enough to pay someone to close any investigation2. The more threats she gets, the more people everywhere will KNOW she s telling the truth, because if she weren t these powerful bigwigs wouldn t be so upset!Dr Suzanne s T0P Secret Fat Loss Secret works on getting your body to get rid of the toxins -- NOT on trying to get you to make major changes in your lifestyle, few people if anyone can really muster.I mean think about it:99% of everyone you know that says they are doing a new diet only end up failing anyway. The woman we all know who said five years ago that she was on some new diet to L0SE 25 pounds now weighs 50 pounds more (Ha! Horrible, yet a tad funny!)Or how about the guy who joins the gym to get back into shape who a year later looks even worse? These are the people YOU and I both know. They re all around us, and are clear PROOF that diets and exercise DON T really work - and not because those things aren t good for you and me, but because something else is standing in their way!And that s none other than toxins! Get rid of them, and get rid of everything else! It s just that simple. But you MUST know what you re doing, or else you may make a mistake by thinking you have, when in fact you haven t!And that s precisely what s inside Dr Suzanne s T0P Secret Fat Loss Secret! Now, at this point I would like you to strongly consider everything I ve said here, and I hope you will even get her Top Secret Fat Loss Secret for yourself.Ordinarily I d say do whatever you want as I would never try to twist anyone s arm. However, in this particular case, I must press you.You see, because Dr Suzanne has been the target of death threats, and because she s now taking so much heat from the so-called good guys out to sell you every legal drug under the Sun, she may be forced to remove her Top Secret Fat Loss Secret out of YOUR reach very, very soon! And if that happens, YOU at least may never find out the TRUTH, and not be able to use it for yourself or those you love and want to protect! That s the real reason I m writing you today:So that you have the chance to be armed with something that if you act right away no one can ever take away from you!So, rather than write a single sentence more, why don t I just give you the link so you can get it right now before it s too late:- http://tinyurl.com/2lzb7oThat s it.Please, do what you think right now is BEST...Just looking out for you, as always,PS ... Please don t overlook the seriousness concerning this, only to discover later when you really want it, it s somehow no longer available! That kind of thing hurts when you miss out ...

Weight watchers worked for me! Im 5foot 1 and 23yrs old. i weighed at my most 167, and now im down to 113lbs. It really is so easy to do, and all you have to do is pay around 30.00 to get the kit to get started, and thats it! you can continue to go to the meetings if you want, but I didnt. All I can say, is that it trully works!

Does anyone have any weight loss tips? -

I play softball and I m starting lacrosse tomorrow, but I would like some tips for losing weight. I m 177 lbs and 5 5. I tend to snack a lot and I know I need to cut back on my calorie intake. any tips?

HelloHere s what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.The reality is that there are no shortcuts or easy ways to get in good shape. Sorry, but someone needed to tell you this.As long as you get conscious about what you are doing, you will see the results. Below you will find the four principles that you need to keep in mind in your weight-loss journey.http://thefatlosssecret.blogspot.com/1.Forget About DietsPeople that go from diet to diet never reach a stable weight, let alone a good shape. The reason is quite simple: diets are, by their very nature, temporary. You cant expect to eat properly for two or three weeks and fix your weight problems for the rest of the year.2.Proper NutritionIf you want to keep your weight and fat percentage under control, you will need to learn the basics of nutrition. Once you learn them, you will be able to eat healthy throughout the year.3.Physical ExerciseEating healthy and having a caloric deficit will only take you half the way. The other key factor is physical exercise.4.Discipline and PerseveranceYou can start eating healthy and exercising properly, but unless you stick doing it regularly, the results wont appear (if they do, they wont last).Discipline and perseverance are key here.Did you know 90% of fat is caused by 3 major factors? Find out exactly whatthey are and how easily it is to solve them here http://thefatlosssecret.blogspot.com/.
