Weight loss tips please? -

ok, im going to hawaii in about two weeks and i want to look good in a bikini. please tell me any weight loss tips you know.

Julie B, Last month I was able to drop 10 pounds. In addition to weight lifting I joined a weight loss clinic in North Carolina. Maybe you should try joining a weight loss clinic in Hawaii. http://www.weightlossexercisetips.com/Ha It would have been hard to loose the weight without some help and reinforcement. I now have much more energy and glad that I did not wait forever.

I have been through it all and know what s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes. Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight. First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it s good for the heart. However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I ve found a great addition to help any one out, it s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it s the best pill I ve tried and I ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day. Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

Here are a couple of articles that should give you the tips you are looking for:http://www.weightlossfatloss.us/weddingshttp://www.weightlossfatloss.us/ten_weig

Losing Weight? -

I need weight loss tips. Ive tried everything. I walk to the mall /every/ weekend. Which is up two very steep hills, and takes an hour a half each way. I don t eat alot of junk food.. and i eat mostly fruits veggies! help?I would really appreciate it =]

You re leaving something out. You re not being honest with yourself. The bottom line is that if you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight. If you re not losing weight, you re eating too much and not getting enough exercise.

hmmm....mabey you just need to change your diet/excersise program everone has their own thing that works because everyone s body reacts differentley to things mabey you should get a personal trainer or excersise different parts of your body

You have to exercise more than once a week and sometimes it ll seem as if your weight has gone up because the scale will say so. If you are exercising enough, then u will gain weight because muscles weigh more than fat. Look at the way clothes fit you not at what the scale says.

When I wanted to lose weight I would eat a peice of dry toast for breakfast, a plain turkey sandwich on wheat bread for lunch and a normal dinner. I had no problem dropping the weight and I was not exercising either.I don t know if your on any medications but I know some medications tend to make you gain weight. If that is not the case you may want to see your doctor. Maybe you have something else going on like an underactive thyroid. When you have an underactive thyroid you gain weight no matter what you do. If that is the case you will need meds to regulate it.One last thing - my cousin was overweight and he worked his way up to using the stationary bike for an hour every day and ended up losing up to 50 lbs. in about 4 months and he kept it off.Good Luck.

Go to my weight loss page and you ll find some info. At the bottom of the page is a link to Melt My fat away that is a super read!

Whether you like him or not, you have to respect Dr Phil just because of one thing. He continually asks his guests one simple question: How s it working for you? Success in anything comes from FINDING WHAT WORKS then DOING WHAT WORKS.I am going to reveal to you the Secret Weight Loss Formula that Celebrity personal trainer don t want you to know about. Before I reveal the secret, first I need to explain to you that there is process that your body goes through to burn body fat. So how does your body burn fat?It is a two steps process and in order to lose body fat you need to:1.Release the fat from the fat cells and only then2.You can burn the fatHow does your body release the fat from the cells? Before you can turn your body into a fat burning machine, here what needs to happen: your body fat need to be released from the fat cells. You can accomplish this step successfully with your nutrition program. Here are some specific tips that you can apply right away to achieve that.1.Eat 4-6 small, frequent meals and never skip meals.2.Eat natural foods; avoid processed refined foods3.Eat lean proteins with each meal.4.Eat more complex carbs, fruits vegetables.5.Drink plenty of waterHow does your body burn the fat? If you started exercising and then reached a plateau, you have probably burned more muscle tissue than fat with your workout. This is the worst thing that could happen.Let me explain. Less Muscle = slower metabolism = Weight loss plateauThen you end up in the yo-yo dieting bandwagon. How to burn the *fat* instead of burning muscles. You need to do some MODERATE cardio training. The key word here is moderate. Doing too much cardio can be detrimental and I am sure you have seen those people that are doing cardio on a daily basis and still not getting anywhere. The result is a low metabolism. Low metabolism means, your body fat is not going anywhere, anytime soon. Here is what you need to do:1.Do some moderate cardio training; the key word here is moderate2.Never diet but consume little fewer calories that you will burn (No starvation diets, Please...)Your muscle tissue is your best friend when it comes to burn body fat. You need to preserve muscle tissues in order to keep losing weight. Most people go on a starvation diet combined a lot of cardio to lose weight. At first it may seems like this is working because they are losing scale weight. Now think about, scale weight does not tell you if weight loss is from fat, water or muscle tissue. Scale weight by itself is not a good indicator of success. To maintain muscle tissues you need to:1.Do some resistance training. (This is not optional, it is mandatory)The secretNow that you understand the whole fat burning process, I am going to reveal to you how celebrity personal trainers do to get those amazing transformations. The strategy is to combine all the steps that I outlined so the body works as a unit. First, the trainer makes sure that his client is eating the proper food on a regular basis. By that, I mean eating so that fat WILL be released from the fat cells. Then and only then they exercise the body to burn the fat. The important idea to take from this is: The fat can ONLY be burned after it is released from the fat cells .If you know anybody that has been exercising like a maniac and they don t seem to go anywhere, now you know why.The reverse is also true, do you know somebody that is eating properly but they are not including any resistance training combined with moderate cardio. Now you know why their body still looks the same. All you need to do is to combine a nutrition program, along with some MODERATE cardio program and maintain muscle mass with resistance training. Everything is combined with one goal in mind: Turning your body into an Automatic fat burning machine. It is that easy. There is a final step to that process and it is tracking your results.Remember Dr Phil; dont keep doing something that is not working. Tracking helps, you determine what works for YOU and what does not. Without tracking, you have no idea on how to change your strategy.Don t like the results you have been getting? Then CHANGE YOUR STRATEGY.How do you change your strategy? How do you find one that works? DO NOT continue doing something just because THEY say it s the way things should be done. Allow yourself to choose the solution that will work for you, regardless of what it may be. The only way for you to know who is right is to measure your progress and ACTUALLY track your results.CHANGE IS HARD, but it s also worth it. Not getting results makes change EXTREMELY HARD.Get support from friends, family or a coach who knows about body transformation. Losing weight is not as hard at it seems once you know what works for YOU. Visit http://www.charlesblain.com for The Best Weight Loss Exercises .

If you can afford the extra expense, try hiring a personal trainer. Most of the ones that come to your house or meet you at a gym, also provide nutritional information specific to your body type and composition.

I ve been exercising for 3 weeks, but i ve been eating a lot, so its not working out. I suggest the advice above, being honest with one s self, The intake of Calories has to be less. thats all. and Excersice. Good Luck.

walking is a very good cardio vascular exercise (good for the heart). It is important to eat a balanced diet, you need carbohydrate for energy as well as fruit and veg. Drinking plenty of water is also very important.Other exercises you could try would be cycling, if you join a gym, the rowing machines and stair climbers are good as they also tone up areas like your tummy, bum and thighs. sit ups are good too. As well as the above you could try taking a supplement such as sea kelp or lecithin which help metabolise fat (use it as energy). Also you could talk to your doctor especially if you have a lot of weight to lose who could give you a diet plan and advise on other exercises. I hope that this is of some help

it sounds like you are living a healthy lifestyle, but i would add in more exercise. remember that you won t lose weight very quickly in any case (which is normal--shoot for 1 pound per week), and especially if you only exercise once a week. you don t have to do that much exercise every day, just start by taking a brisk, 30 minute walk every day in addition to your walk on the weekends.. once you have been doing this for a couple weeks, try doing a run/walk exercise..for example, run for three minutes, and then walk for two, and repeat this for 30 minutes or so.. and do it every day..also, buy some dumbells and do weight training.i hope these suggestions helpgood luck!

My 15 year old son has the same problem. He gains and gains yet never sits still and his eating habits are normal for his age and activity level. We took him to the Dr and found out that he has Cushing s Disease, which was a tumor growing off of his pituitary gland and in combination his adrenal glands are malfunctioning. If you truly can t loose weight and you are sure that it s not your eating or activity, then go see your Dr. At least then you will know.

I have stuck to one key rule that seems to work for me. I eat what I m hungry for. It has gotten to the point that things I once at often I no longer crave, they might even make me feel ill when I eat them. It has taken me five years to really get this way but I crave healthier foods now. And every now and again when I crave something that might not be too good for me I understand that my body might actually need something in that food. Also I try not to over-eat the good foods. I set a limit and I ve trained myself to know when I m full. I ll feel uneasy if I ve eaten more than what my body needed of a certain food, even if it is good for me. Good luck.

It may seem strange, but losing weight is more of a state of mind than it is an eating and exercise regimen. While it s true that ultimately to lose weight you eat less calories than you expend, each person s eating habits and metabolism are different. Most of all, their reasons for eating the way they do are different. As one who has gained weight and lost it three times now (with three different diets!), I know about that battle. Right now, a modified South Beach diet is working quite well (and I m not exercising much at all). If you really are eating healthily (which I now realize means WAY less sweets and carbs than most Americans eat!), then the only other choice is to eat even LESS, which isn t always a great choice, or exercising more. But know that if you quit exercising, you are MORE likely to gain weight back, and perhaps more than you have before!Good luck!

Any diet, diet plans, weight loss tips (NOT THE SIMPLE ONES ), anyhting to help....it would be nice! Thanks

Healthy weight loss tipshttp://weightlossweightloss.blogspot.comStrength training and aerobic exercise --Aerobic exercise burns a lot of calories, Strength training increases metabolism by increasing lean muscle mass which helps in long term weight loss. Eat fruits and vegetables --Increase your intake of fiber rich foodsThey are low in calories but high in fiber. Fiber is digested slower, keeps us feeling fuller longer Eat breakfast everyday --Eat smaller, more frequent meals--Replace white rice, bread, and pasta with brown rice and whole-grain products--Drink more water--Water suppresses the appetite naturally and helps the body metabolize stored fat.Increase your protein intake--Protein makes us feel full. It is also important in replacing and building muscle tissue. More muscles burn more fat. It helps to increase your metabolism - which burns calories.Do not skip meals--Skipping meals makes you hungry which you tend to compensate by eating a lot later. Spice up your food--Spices boosts metabolism, suppresses appetite, reduce fat absorption Eat Negative calorie food --Negative calorie foods are foods, which use more calories to digest than the calories the foods actually contain. Help me please i need to lose weight fast..? -

I need weight loss tips and websites but websites you dont have to pay for. I need to lose 10 pounds by next month! Can you HELP ME

I know you don t want to hear this, but don t try to lose 10 pounds in a short period of time. If you are serious about being healthy and lowering your weight to a place where you are comfortable, change your eating habbits. You are probably very young. Don t start the roller coaster early. You are setting yourself up for a lifetime of failure. Cut out refined foods and eat only raw fruits and vegetables. Eat whole milk, organic yogurt (plain). Eat salmon 3-4 times a week. Eat lettuce every day. Drink plenty of water (key to losing weight.). Eat an avacado every day. Raspberries and Strawberries help to cleanse toxins from the body, allowing the fat to be taken out quicker.AVOID Low fat/No fat. This causes weight gain. Exercise up to 30 minutes a day. You are going to have to do some work. But I warn you, if you change everything all at once. You will not stick to it, and in 2 months you will gain back more than the 10 lbs you lost. The key to permanent weight loss, (and I don t think that is what you are looking for unfortunately) is change your lifestyle one small thing at a time. Don t neglect yourself and then rapidly try to change. Change one thing every week. Make one healthy change, and over a year, you have made 52 positive changes.Be forgiving of yourself, and love yourself for who you are. Life is too short to try to conform to what others think of you. Be kind to yourself, because you are worth it.

simple. Eat right and exercise.

Don t be lazy regarding any sort of work!!!

Drink a cup of gin every night

WATCH WHAT YOU EAT, BUT FOR FAST WEIGHT LOSS, DRINK A GALLON OF WATER EVERY DAY..........NOT FLAVORED WATER OR TEA..JUST PLAIN WATER

With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don t get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. Weight Loss Tips/Advice....? -

I am 5 8 245 Pounds. I wear a size 16. Im not huge but im not really that comfortable with my body especially my stomach uugh I hate it so im trying to lose at least 40-50 pounds. My mother Or myself never cooks so I eat out Everyday I drink alot of juice and soda. I know that I need to cut that Out but what are some other tips to help me lose weight? They would be greatly appreciated..Thankyou!

Here are a few tips;WHEN to eat for losing weight... ? Eat (at least) three times a day. Because when you eat only once a day, your metabolism gets slower than it already is! That s the main reason. Sounds funny, but to lose weight... you must eat (the right things, of course) ? Eat low-fat, high-fiber foods such as salads and vegetable pastas.? Your last meal should be before 18:00. Try. OK, one apple after 18:00 ? Don t starve Starvation is not good for losing weight, nor your health. Starvation is the worse thing you can do in a weight loss diet. ? Try oatmeal instead of cornflakes for breakfast--eating oatmeal can help reduce cholesterol levels, and its high fiber content will keep you full longer.WHAT to drink for losing weight... ? Drink 6-8 glasses of water every day ! Can be tap, plain, mineral, sparkling. I just love mineral sparkling water! This improves your bowel, reduces the hunger sensation, and hydrates your skin. Your skin will look much better after the first weeks! Don t believe the slogan water makes me fat . Beside being stupid... you might get into serious troubles with your kidneys. ? Drink ONLY natural juices, freshly squized! Don t drink Coca Cola, Pepsi, Spite etc. during the diet. Even lite or light versions. I thought this was not possible for me to achieve. Now... I don t even LIKE them anymore! Nothing compares to the the smell of a fresh natural fruit juice! Not speaking about health... ? Avoid those vending machines by carrying around your own healthful foods and leaving pocket change at home.exercise for losing weight... ? If you want quicker results - exercise would be good. ? Don t just sit in front of the TV and eat peanuts... I guarantee THIS won t work for your weight loss... ? Start a regular exercise program and stick with it. Don t be afraid of those sweat suits and Lycra pants! ? Start swimming. Swimming is an excellent exercise to get involved with, since it increases blood flow and uses muscles we don t regularly use. Start a swimming program and try to do it 3 times a week. You will feel excellent and rejuvenated.? Choose an exercise program that you enjoy, and don t shun the unconventional. For instance, did you know that regular vigorous dancing is exercise too?? Also Cardiovascular exercises such as running, jogging, or aerobics will help you lose that unwanted belly fat. Weight training can also help you lose body fat because the more muscle mass you have, the more ability your system has to burn body fat.Good luck!

1. MAKE YOUR OWN FOOD. I cannot stress this enough. This is the most important item. Eating out is the absolute worst thing ever. It s really hard to find anything very healthy in almost any restaurant. Almost nothing is fresh, regardless of what they claim, and they pack so much sodium (salt, msg, etc) and other crap in there, you might as well just start drinking saltwater. Also I tend to find that many places that actually use quality ingredients are more expensive or too expensive to eat at everyday. Plus you ll save TONS of money. You can t lose here, Health plus tons of money!2. Quit drinking soda or anything with manmade sugar or substitutes in it, esp diet anything. Drink water or real juice.3. No dessert, no candy, etc...sugar is bad...maybe once a week is ok...3. Start exercising.4. stop eating too much meat and dairy and eat more fresh fruit and vegetables.5. Might sound ridiculous, but picture yourself in your mind as already being healthy and thinner. Your mind is your most powerful tool. Picture the end result, obsess about it, and get there. Don t think about now, how you are too big and don t like it, think about how you will feel when your losing that weight, have confidence you can do it, you ve already done it in your mind. It will happen. It will take time and self discipline to accomlish this, but anything worthwhile takes time and self discipline.6. **** the naysayers. You can do it! Good luck!

Age 14 weight loss tips please? -

I am 14, 5 6, and 190 lbs. I m so tired of being fat. It makes me feel horrible about myself. I d like to lose at least 30lbs. I know pretty much the only healthy way to do it is diet and exercise, but does anyone have any tips? I ve been trying to go out on walks every night and play DDR, but I can t seem to keep it up. How can I force myself to start exercising every day? Also, I don t usually have snacks during the day, but I do usually have dessert. Is this bad? Thanks to anyone who helps! I appriciate it.

Hi there,Well, being 14, you definitely have age on your side. From past experience, I can say it was always easier to lose weight in my teens, than my twenties or my thirties. I yo-yo dieted for many years, losing and gaining 30 or 40 pounds. I often hated myself and the bad self-image I had affected everything around me. When I turned 30, I finally found out how to keep my weight stable, while still enjoying life and not being a slave to exercise. I have maintained my weight now for 5 years. You can be healthy again. Here s how:First, go to the doctor and get a physical. Get your thyroid gland tested - ask for T3, T4 and TSH test to be performed for this, not just TSH. The doctor will know what you are talking about. Your thyroid gland regulates your metabolism, so if it s underactive, it will cause you to gain weight.Next, when you find that there is no medical problem causing you to gain weight, you will need to make some radical changes in your lifestyle. You are not going to diet, but instead change your way of eating, exercising and thinking.Breakfast - YOU HAVE TO EAT IT!!!! 80% of fat people don t eat breakfast and 80% of skinny people do. This doesn t mean a large muffin and a coke, either. The best thing you can eat for breakfast is fresh fruit. Have as much as you want!I eat four or five pieces of fruit sometimes. For the rest of your meals and snacks (yes, snacking is good) there are a few things to remember:No refined (white) sugar. When you eat it, it just makes you even more hungry!Little or no processed foods. This means eat FRESH foods, especially fresh vegetables - organic if you can. Start reading the labels on boxes and cans if you are going to eat what s in them. Usually, if you can t pronounce it, you don t want to eat it. I could literally write a book about this, but fortunately, someone already did. It s called, SkinnyBitch and it s written by Rory Freedman and Kim Barnouin. It will really change your way of thinking. As for exercise, find something you like to do. Anything! If you are going to do it an hour a day, 3-5 times a week, you better enjoy it, right? Try to lift some weights, too. This will burn a lot of calories and help keep your bones strong. One more thing, try not to lose more than 10 pounds a month. No starvation!!!! You just wreck your metabolism! You can do this. You don t have to feel horrible about yourself. Remember that it s YOUR body and YOU are the only person who controls how it looks. By this summer, you can be in a bathing suit, feeling pretty hot!Good luck!

i have just the thing for you here you go good luck!!YOU MUST DRINK 5 X 8OZ GLASSES OF WATER EACH DAY.THE DIET MUST BE FOLLOWED EXACTLY TO LOSE 10LBS IN 3 DAYS.DAY 1BREAKFASTBlack coffee/tea, ? grapefruit, 1 slice toast, 2 spn of peanut butter or small tin baked beans.LUNCHBlack coffee/tea, 4 oz tuna, 1 slice toast.DINNER2 Slices any cold meat, 1 cup string beans, 4oz beetroot, 1 small apple, 4oz vanilla ice cream.DAY 2BREAKFASTBlack coffee/tea, 1 egg, 1 slice toast, ? banana.LUNCHBlack coffee/tea, 4oz cottage cheese, 5 saltina crackers.DINNER2 Slices any cold meat, 4oz broccoli, 2oz carrots, ? banana, 4oz vanilla ice cream.DAY 3BREAKFASTBlack coffee/tea, 5 saltina crackers, 1 slice cheddar cheese, 1 small apple.LUNCHBlack coffee/tea, 1 hard boiled egg, 1 slice toast.DINNER4oz tuna, 4oz beetroot, 4oz cauliflower, ? melon, 4oz vanilla ice cream.THIS DIET WORKS ON A CHEMICAL BREAKDOWN AND IS PROVEN. DO NOT MIX OR SUBSTITUTE ANY OF THE ABOVE FOODS. SALT PEPPER CAN BE USED BUT NO OTHER SEASONING.THIS DIET IS TO BE USED 3 DAYS AT A TIME. IN 3 DAYS YOU WILL LOSE 10LBS. AFTER 3 DAYS OF DIETING YOU CAN EAT NORMALLY BUT REMEMBER NOT TO OVERDO IT. YOU CAN LOSE UP TO 40LBS IN A MONTH IF YOU STICK TO IT.TOAST MUST BE DRY. NO BUTTER OR MARGE.SALTINA CRACKERS ARE TUC OR RITZ.

Try jogging for 30 min every other day. That way you will be able to keep it up. if you excersice everyday you will end up giving up after a couple of weeks. Consistency is the key to losing fat. Also the most you can hope to loose in a week is about 2 pounds. More than that is probably unhealthy. Don t trust the scale too much.YOU CAN T LOOSE 10LBS IN 3DAYS. WITHOUT PUTTING YOURSELF IN SERIOUS RISK

You are on the right track, just try and cut out the desserts every day, but don t deprive yourself completely, that never works! You have to be patient to see results, I know it s hard, but they will come! Also, I was never somebody who liked exercise either, and the only advice I have is just do it, even when you don t feel like it and over time it will become part of your routine and you might even look forward to it (like I do now). Also, you don t need to exercise EVERY DAY, 3-5 days a week is enough. You need some days off for your body to recuperate. However, nothing wrong with trying to add some more activity into daily life: take stairs, walk when you can! Good luck :)

Exercise is good. Taking walks is excellent. Yes, cut the dessert and eat a fruit instead. You re doing everything right all you need is to have a little more of patience. Pretty soon you ll see the results. Good luck!
