How to lose weight fast and safe? -

i am 18 years old and a senior. I weigh 265lbs and im 5 4 i have been struggling with my weight my whole life. i have PCOS so that also makes it a lot harder to to lose weight. I would really like your help on how to lose weight fast and safe. I would like to lose weight in time for graduation

* Take one pound at a time* Set Reachable Goals* Stay off the scales* Stay focused on being healthy, not thin* Fat Free?* Drink plenty of water* Reward yourself* Seek help if you need it* Watch your portions* Eat your food slowly- Healthy life every day!

Make adjustments. A successful weight loss strategy based on reducing calorie intake and increasing activity can be adjusted to maintain your desired weight once you reach it. Unlike typical diets, this method is sustainable -- it is a lifestyle change, not a binge-and-purge exercise. Slowly adjust your diet and exercise to include more weight training and calories, as much as is comfortable for you. If you do gain any weight back, you want that weight to be lean, toned muscle, not fat. In addition, weight training, no matter what your age, prevents muscle atrophy and can help stave off osteoporosis. Instead of thinking of it as losing a certain amount of pounds, think of it as being a certain weight. So if you are 145 pounds, and you would like to lose 10 pounds, think of it as being 135 pounds. This helps you think about it as a long-term goal and not just losing the weight to gain it back again.

Be realistic. Don t expect a miracle. Healthy weight loss can be achieved fairly quickly, but you ll need to be patient. In addition, be sure to set realistic goals. Make sure that the weight you re trying to reach is a healthy weight for you, and keeping in mind that gaining pounds of muscle will help you lose fat, be trimmer, and look better even though you don t actually lose any weight. Your goal should be a healthy body, not a number of pounds! Everyone looks good at a different weight. A short person may look really good at about 112 pounds, but a person of a taller height would just look unhealthy. Keep yourself at a weight that makes you look good, not at a number that sounds good.

Obesity has become a major health problem around the world. Many companies have brought diet pills, medicines, powders and weight-loss belts in the market. Though these products claim to aid weight-loss, the weight reduction is temporary. Besides, the pills and powders can adversely affect your health. Here we offer you some tips to reduce weight successfully, without any negative health effects.1 Reduce fat intake: 2 Reduce intake of sugar:3 Decrease alcohol consumption: 4 Stay away from processed, fast and junk foods since they are laden with fat and sugar. 5 Reduce quantity of food without going hungry:6 Adopt regular eating habits:7 Raise the amount of physical activity:8 Learn a new hobby or interest: 9 Improve your metabolism by eating natural foods: 10 Control your appetite:

Weight loss and weight trainingWe chose to list this separately from the exercise category because of the significant weight loss benefits attached to weight training in and of itself. The basic equation is this: the more muscle tissue you have, the more calories you will burn. This is why world class weight lifters must eat thousands of calories a day to maintain their weight. Muscle is active tissue, fat is not. Thus, muscle burns a significant number of calories each day for its own maintenance. In her book Strong Women Stay Slim, Miriam Nelson, a Tufts University researcher, showed that a group of women who followed a weight loss diet and did weight training exercises lost 44% more fat than those who only followed the diet. While aerobic activity can help burn calories, muscle s where it s at when it comes to giving your metabolism a significant daily boost even at rest.

you ought to think about trying what s called supersetting or Interval Training...which is periods of high intensity work followed by periods of rest or low intensity work. combines both a strength component(for lean tissue building) and a cardiovascular component(for fat burning). this type of training causes an effect known as EPOC...Excess Post(exercise) Oxygen Consumption. the EPOC phenomenon causes an increased rate of oxygen intake, an elevated consumption of fat for fuel and increases your metabolism up to 48 hours AFTER you exercise! burning fat while you rest! Not only does this type of training torch bodyfat, it also saves you time. no more splitting up your days...1 day cardio, 1 day weights...more time for family, friends, work, sports. you also don t need an fancy or expensive equipment to complete these workouts. most of them you can do at home. example:squatspush-upspull-upsplanksdo each exercise for a set # of reps or time back to back without rest in-between. that equals 1 set. rest 30-60 sec then repeat whole sequence. do 3-5 complete sets. you can plug in more exercises(I do one where I pick 10 exercises and do 1 min of each) or mix in different exercises. train this way 3x/week and you will definitely see some results.what you put in your body is important as well. Your body needs all 3 macro-nutrients to survive -- carbohydrates, protein and fat. If you cut out one of those macro-nutrients your body will not function properly and eventually break down. Eat whole, naturally occuring foods. Nothing processed, packaged or anything with added sugar, salt, artificial sweetners or preservatives. Live by this quote: If you can t hunt it, fish it, pick it from a tree, bush or the ground, DON T eat it.

if you have PCOS you should be on birth control pills to regulate your horomones and that will help you lose weight. somethng about PCOS makes your body THINK it s supposed to be 250-260lbsother than that, veggies, fruit, whole grains, lean protein, low suger, low fat, and exercise

Well to answer your question it would take ime but here is a workout or thing that might help :1)Stop eating and excercise intensely. (time consumed: about a week, maybe)2) Dehydrate yourself. Do not drink any water, and you can lose up to 10 pounds (time consumed: a day or two)3) Get lipo-suction (time consumed: idk, i guess a few hours)4) Cut off a limb. (time consumed: instantaneous)

hey... janet here.. hopefully my own personally story can be of some guidance/help to you..I m 5 8 and at the time I was about 220 lbs.. and was trying real hard to lose weight for almost 8 months... i just had a baby girl at the time.. and during my pregnancy i gained a tonnnn of weight and much of it stuck with me after she was born, and the hubby began getting on my case and bothering me non stop about my new weight problem... so after a few months of that, it really started getting to me, plus summer was about to get here- and i love the beach! So i decided to try and do something about it... ive since tried almost every diet system out there... the standard eat less-exercise more change lifestyle diet, south beach, atkins, slimfast, weight watchers, etc... I also tried taking many different weight loss supplements.. and overall nothing has really worked well for me.... But i came across this diet program http://www.fatloss.pcti-system.com .. which a couple of my girlfriends put me onto, and it worked amazing for me like nothing else has.Right now I m only 180 lbs.. I m still overweight but I ve already lost 40 pounds and I m well on my way to my goal of 160 lbs.. I hope i was of some help.. I wish you all the best of luck!

You can lose weight if you did correct method. I tried many method, but could not lose weight. I found the best method that works just amazing for anyone. I lost my weight fast using this diet method. You must have look correct info that works. I lost 23 pounds after 6 weeks with this diet method. I highly recommend you. You can find more info from link below.

The best way is to reduce your calorie intake by 500 calories a day. That is, subtract 500 from the amount of calories you need to maintain your current weight. Try using fitday.com/ that will help. I d also try walking about 2 miles a day. You will burn roughly another 200 calories doing this. You ll lose about 6lbs a month this way. And probably more in the beginning with water weight etc. Thats about 30lbs by graduation! This is really the best/safest way to do it. Goodluck!

Eat at least 5 servings of fruits and vegetables per day Fruits and vegetables are packed with beneficial fibers, vitamins and antioxidants. They fill up your stomach fast so you feel full earlier. They are also low in calories and helps to keep your calorie count low.

When you go with out food your stomach shrinks, and you feel hungry.Sometimes willpower is the greatest gift of all. Try going on a soup diet, try a different one every day so that you will get proper nutrition. Drink V-8, eat lots of fruit to make up for the sugary junk food. Also have fresh veggie snacks.

* Take one pound at a time* Set Reachable Goals* Stay off the scales* Stay focused on being healthy, not thin* Fat Free?* Drink plenty of water* Reward yourself* Seek help if you need it* Watch your portions* Eat your food slowly

Lose Weight FastIn this article we are going to show you some sensible PROVEN Ways to lose weight fast.1. Drink water2. Eat regularly3. Eat lots of fibre4. Consume more good fats5. Get plenty of quality protein6. Carbohydrates can help you lose weight- Healthy life every day!

You seems to be slightly overweight for your age (as per this chart http://bisina.info/fetus/whc.html ), but what is your height? May be you have normal weight for your height. You are at puberty period. Within this time your metabolism changes. Any attempts to lose weight can happen ineffective till metabolism stabilization, that is in two-three years.

I use many different method to lose my weight, but nothing worked untill I got this amazing method. It works very well and I lost my weight easy after I got right method. I lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks and it was so easy. If you are very serious and really want to lose weight you should check this out. You can get info here http://bit.ly/654wejh9

Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It s actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.* Be in right frame of mind* Eat whole food* Eat fresh fruit* Drink enough water* Always chew your food* Take small meals* Include protein at meal* Shut off TV while eating* Increase your physical activity

Watch your fat intake. Each fat gram contains 9 calories so by reading the total calories on a food and knowing the quantity of fat, you can estimate the % of fat, which should in no way exceed 30% of the food.

I would try using Fitday. They have a free online version http://www.fitday.com/ and a software version for can pay for. I tried the software version and I lost 45 lbs. I would give that a try it worked for me.

I ate 3-4 healthy choice dinners a day and lost 45lbs in 2 months.. ture story =]230 to 185Now I weigh 195 one year later.

Take your lower lip, put it over your head and swallow, theres your solution

There aren t many diets that actually help and they r hard to followU should just eat less sweats and exercise more

If you want to lose weight, cut back on your portion size, and when you eat, put your fork on the table while chewing your food. Quit drinking soda pop, even diet soda pop. Start drinking water (H20). For Lunch, have a turkey sandwich on Wheat Bread, with mustard or Fat Free Mayonnaise. In the evening, if you get hungry, drink some water and eat some dry Cheerios or Special K cereal. When you eat your meals, take small bites, and chew your food slow. And while chewing your food, put your fork down on the table. That way, you do not eat too fast.

25 to 30% of your diet should be proteins. Various processes and activities are going on in our bodies. Things are broken down and being built up again. Resistance has to be built up, recovery from disease too is needed and for all this the body needs plenty of proteins so see to it that 25 to 30 % of your diet consists of proteins.33. Fats should only be 15 to 20 %. You need only this much of fat in your diet so keep it at that.

I found this on this website. There are more tips and info.1. If what you are eating has less than 1 carb, count it as 1 carb just to be sure.2. Totally avoid caffine at least for the first two weeks on the program.3. Drink a MINIMUM of 8 glasses of plain water or seltzer daily.4. Don t weigh yourself more than once a week5. Take starting measurements as well as weight - sometimes you ll lose inches before pounds6. Avoid any type of low carb sweetener for the first two weeks7. Don t compare your loss to someone else s - this is a YMMV thing (your milage may vary)8. Stalls are common around the third week so don t panic9. If you follow your plan to the T and don t lose, consider Candida as a possibility and avoid vinegar, cheese, mushrooms and any other fermented food10. Have bloodwork done before starting so you have a comparison11. Cholesterol can be elevated in the first few weeks til your body adjusts - make sure your doctor knows that you re doing low carb and when you started12. Don t blame the diet if you don t read your plan book -- blame the diet if you don t read the labels -- Don t blame the diet if you don t follow the diet

Losing weight has a simple formula:Calories burned - Calories digested = Calories lostSimply eat healthily and exercise. Have a balanced diet though!! Try not to snack, try and have 3 meals a day at appropriate times. (An apple for breakfast should be enough, but try and have a glass of oj or something to give you a bit more energy.Get a hobby! If you re bored you are prone to snack. Keep yourself busy.Do not starve yourself! This will just make you crave the unhealthier foods later on. If you feel hungry after a meal have some fruit or some water, or even some fruit juice. It s extremely hard losing weight and keeping it off but once you do it, it s a great feeling AND a great achievement. Good luck and all the best.Randy.

At 15 you are still growing, so it could be that you are about to shoot up a couple of inches.Apart from weight control issues you are still not getting enough exercise, perhaps if you walk some of the way to school each day, progress takes time so be patient and persevere. It took you a year to put that weight on so expect it to take some time to get the weight off! There are lots of fun ways to exercise that you can explore, you might like to try some dance classes for example. There is also yoga, tai chi rollerblading, cycling and dozens more so have some fun trying them out.Good luck!

How to lose weight easy, fast, and healthy? -

im a really bad asthmatic and i always get sic easily and i want to know how i can lose weight easy and fast without starting up my asthma.. but i cant move all that much. :( even though i want to, i cant and im 14 and weigh probably 145 :( i always feel fat and i just want to lose weight easy fast and healthy.. so please if you can give me suggestions:(

You need someone who is an expert to help you through this. If you work with your doctor you can get a neat program started with physical therapy and a nutritionist. They will tell you what your body can handle. This may not be the fastest way but you know you have a serious respiratory issue and you can not get around that. You also sound like you are out of shape. It takes a fair amount of time to get your body in shape. The more monitored exercise and diet information you get the better you will be able to function. Having asthma doesn t mean a life sentence of being over weight and physically unfit. We have olympic athletes who have this disease. So it isn t impossible. The more physically fit you are the better your asthma will be in control.

cut the fat out of your diet. eat healthy veggies and fruit. lay off meat, but chicken is better than beef, and fish is awesome too.

How to lose weight quickly? -

soo i weigh 120 pounds last time i checked nd im a 13 yr old girl. im a size 3 1 in jeans but i want 2 lose just like 5 pounds so i can fit perfectly in size 1 jeans because i feel that my face is a lil bit fat...how can i lose about 5 to 10 pounds? thank you

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, whichwill lead to increase of weight, or muscle growunderneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet withoutexercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. Fordiet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no foodafter 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending onyour initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. Ifyou don t eat wheat then you don t eat all those sticky, fatty goeycakes, you don t eat junk food, and you don t eat biscuits. But yourdiet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have tocalculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising, start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is themost efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight alot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to targetyour problem areas for men and women. It s not necessarily to become abodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help youto target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

You want to lose weight the right way, the healthy way.Don t stop eating to lose weight, just watch what you eat and lay off the junk food and snacks during the day. Maybe try jogging every now and then too.Hope this helps.

Cut out all junk food - it s loaded with calories and won t help you lose weight...at all.You could try meal replacement shakes - I ve lost 5 kg in 3 weeks by having a healthy dinner followed by a meal replacement shake when I get hungry.

1 Dietary Balance: watch what you eat, and expend more energy than you consume. Its really that simple. This involves some calculation. The approximate normal daily caloric requirement for an average male who performs light activity is 2,200; for a female, it is 1,900.Do the math. Eat less and eat at least five meals a day. Your actual caloric requirement can differ depending on your height, weight, activity level and your body s metabolic rate.http://knowdiet.blogspot.com/2 Identify your exercise. No exercise was created equal. You might like running, so run. You might like jogging, so jog. You might like stationary bikes, so bike stationary. Find the one that works best for you. Dont pick a routine that you dont like and wont stick with it for long. http://knowexercise.blogspot.com/3 Join an online support group. Its essential that you not feel alone, and reaching out to friends (new or old) is typically a smart move. You have to know that others are out there for moral support - they know things that you couldnt possibly know, and theyve probably been in your shoes at some point in the past (or present). Share stories, laughter, tears, successes, and failures - share them. There are thousands of communities out there, so keep looking until you find the one that fits you.http://learnfriendship.blogspot.com/4 Take before and after photos. I know it sucks to see yourself as a chunky monkey (sorry, thats what I called myself - if only to get myself motivated to meet my weight loss goal). However, theres no easier way to illustrate your progress. The after photos are far more fun to capture and share, admittedly. 5 Start reading labels. If you dont know what youre putting in your mouth, youre flying blind. Dont assume, either - check the ingredients list and serving sizes. You must rely on yourself for this; nobody else is going to be able to lose the weight or do the math for you. Its not that complicated a task, but it will require effort. If nothing else, just pay attention to the calorie count.6 Tell your family. Youre not going to lose the weight alone, even if you ARE alone in losing the weight. If youve got a family at home, talk to them about it - initially, not incessantly. Let them know what youre going to do, and that you want (and need) their support. Who knows? Maybe some of your new habits will rub off on them and theyll become healthier people, too 7 Water you waiting for If youre not drinking enough water, your body will let you know. Thirst is an amazing sensation C quench it. If youre not hydrated, your body wont be working at peak levels. Most of your body happens to be water, by the way. If youre worried about water weight, remember that youre likely to retain more water when youre not giving your body enough of it in the first place. Im not going to dictate how many glasses you should drink, though C as thats going to vary from person to person.http://knowingbody.blogspot.com/8 Zone out. Theres a reason why people exercise to their favorite music C listening to external stimulus takes your mind off of the physical activity. Thats the secret to making exercise time fly or situate yourself in front of a television or video games involving exercises.Movies / Music /Dancehttp://movieinternet.blogspot.com/http://knowingmusic.blogspot.com/http://knowdance.blogspot.com/9 Sleep it off. To be an efficient fat-burning machine, If you think that youre doing yourself a favor by sleeping less, youre mistaken. Give your body time to rest itself, both mentally and physically. Sleep is very, very important (if only for mental alertness for the following day). If you feel tired, thats likely your bodys way of saying: Shut your eyes, stupid!Sleep / Relaxation / Massage / http://sleepnicely.blogspot.com/ http://relaxingguide.blogspot.com/http://knowmassage.blogspot.com/

How to lose weight? -

I m 14 and weigh about 140. I m 5 6 and i want to know what i should way and how I can get off these extra lbs

At 14, the safest way to loose weight is under the guidance of your Dr. And the proportions your giving doesn t sound like your that overweight to begin with. Your Dr is going to have the BEST solution for you.The safest, and most successful way I have lost weight is by attending weight watchers meetings and sticking to their plan. Their motto is that this is not a diet, it s a lifestyle change. They teach you how to change the portions of food that you eat. This way, you can still have whatever it is you want, but in moderation. If I were you, I would first speak with your mother or guardian about why you want to loose weight, then I would go to the Dr and ask him for a safe way to do this. Speak to him about Weight watchers, and what they can do for you. Loosing weight is not about a diet. It s about changing how you eat. What your eating and how much. Once you have decided that you want to make that change, and are committed to changing your eating habits to healthy ones, you should be on your way. GOOD LUCK!!!

exercise ofcourse, but wait don t forget to also cut down on your calories. Try not to eat sweet or too much meat. Drink lots of water. no soft drink. Eat fruit and vegie. Don t spend so much time watching tv or on intenet. when people offer snack at school you should say no.pick healthy food to eat.

Exercise and count your calories. Don t drink pop and you ll lose it.

For your height you really are not over weight, to get in better shape work out, walk etc...you are a good weight for your height but all of us can be healthier by exercising and you will lose a few pounds and slim your figure as well. Check with your school to see about after school activities.
