Is it possible to urinate frequently when on a weight loss program? Am I losing water not weight? Thanks? -

Well if you ve started to eat very healthy and you weren t before, you are probably just losing the water weight you were retaining due to a poor diet. That usually tapers off the first week or two, IF you keep your water intake up. You will lose fat as well as long as you re sticking to a good diet and exercise program.

If you just started the Diet and you are drinking alot of water/fluids, then yes you will go to the bathroom alot and at first you will lose your water weight as they call it. And then you will actually lose the weight........Good Luck.......I am going through the same thing.....

your are likely getting rid of something in your body that was retaining water. so this is a good sign. are you taking vitamins now? that ll do it too.

most people on a weight loss program have increased water intake or have added supplements that help rid the body of excess water. urinating frequently will be normal. at first, actual weight lost will be mostly water but only the first few weeks.

One thing all weight loss programs have in common, is that you should drink a lot of water, which causes you to urinate often. Weigh yourself once a week, and if your weight loss remain more or less constant over a period of three to four weeks, you are definitely not just losing water.

Help with my weight loss program, any suggestions that could help me pls.? -

Ok i need help, this is my own personal fitness program, my aim of this is to loose that fat on my stomach and chest area, its disgusting i hate it and what i have been doing is, running for about 30 to 40 mins a day. If i can and i have been doing this for about 2 weeks now and i have seen some difference but not as much as i want, is their anymore foods i can eat to enhance my weight loss on these specific areas, i drink alot of water, and stay away from fatty foods. When will i see a difference on my stomach and chest? whats better to drink too tea or coffee? anything that can help me would be great thank you so much :)

Cardio alone will help, but you will see the best results if you combine it with muscle building exercises, even simple things like push ups.Muscles are your best friends and the best way to get them is to lift weights. Don t do anything fancy, start with the tried and true basics. there are lots of dumbbell exercises online, google them.

I am what is considered grossly obese and want desperately to shed pounds, I do realize that I did not gain this weight over night, and I don t expect immediate results, but after watching infomercial after infomercial, and reading multiple articles, I am at a loss. none. it s a lifestyle choice. i personally recommend going vegan, there are loads and loads of health benefits and it is reported that vegans are 20% thinner than omnivores. i actually lost about 20% of my weight aswell. none, is the correct answerdiets don t work.The only way to loose weight is to eat les and exercise more.your body is expecting x amount of food / day if it gets less it slows down your metabolism to compensate.You go on the zing-diet (I just invented it)when you then hit your target weight and come off the zing diet your metabolism has slowed down a bit too much so that any thing you do eat will not be burnt up as fast as it was before you went on the zing diet, so you in fact put more weight on than before you started.

I d say Weightwatchers is the best way to go. It s basically just watching what you eat. They have meetings where you can go and check your progress and they help you along the way.

Do NOT look for fad diets. Don t do Weight Watchers. Don t do Jenny Craig. Don t do NutriSystem. Don t do the lemonade diet. They don t work and when you go off it you ll be fatter than before.The absolute best thing you can do is to figure out how many Calories you burn daily and subtract 300-500 from that if you want to lose weight. Do NOT go over 500. If you do some exercises you can find out how much you burn on that same site!!! If you do exercise of any kind be sure to add on calories since you will be burning more and taking in less. Remember: You WILL lose weight from eating 1000 calories less. How can i lose weight quickly?? -

Im 21, 5 7 weight 9 stone 11 and a size 10, i am very unhappy. I go to the gym at least 2-4 times a week and constantly dieting i have lost a stone since doing this regime, but now i have stopped.I want to get done to 9 stone and hopefully be happy, any ideas on how i can do this quickly???

Just heads up...I was your size when I was that age. I thought I had to lose weight too. I went on diets. I have been yo-yo ing ever since and I am now 44 yrs old. I look back at the different stages of my adult life and say hey, god, I looked good back then, boy was I skinny. I look at my life now, and god, am I ever fat. I am much larger now and if I was you, I would just implement more exercise in your daily life and not worry about dieting other than choose more healthy foods...brown bread verses white bread, drink coffee black, a salad verses french fries, etc. Your body will eventually balance itself out and the extra fat on your body will melt away. And don t be unhappy. You are who you are, no matter what size you are. You will be the same person if and when you loose that weight. And to those that look at your fat and (you think) are judging you, if you looked hard at them, they have issues too. Everyone does. Fat just has an outward appearance.

Why do people try to push weight loss programs that they know are unsafe or unhealthy? -

I keep seeing a contributor pushing a weight-loss progran that allowed her to lose 143 lbs , or some such weight. The program she is pushing appears to be your basic, unhealthy, laxative based weight-loss system. A system that will cause your body so much problems in the future. The least of which will be your body s need to continue with laxatives in order to poop regularly.I checked out the website this woman is pushing, and they encourage you to push out the lining of your bowels by saying, you must shed the skin-like material . Seriously, it s the lining of your bowel they want you to poop out.How is this healthy? Why are people pushing crap like this? Don t they know thwy will only gain the weight back again when they stop the treatments ?

I think the reason that people push unsafe weight loss programs is because they know a lot of people who are trying to lose weight are desperate and want a quick method of dropping the pounds, these business people take advantage of these people s desperation and end up taking their money and leaving them with a bunch of junk

depends on their IQ(intelligence quality) if it surpasses 90 they re just trying out because might not be labeled but if their IQ is lower than 60 they can t help it because they re what I d say a little dumb no offense to those people if their IQ is average they might be crazy if labeled.

I was reading about it on her website, and I was wondering if it was worth the $4 a week? What does it entail? Is there a special diet you have to go on? Any information would be appreciated.

Ive read her books. they seem to be balance, low calorie diets. you cna get them at the library and read them, they are straight forward, nothing really new. the money you pay each week is for the message boards, if you need that support you can join message boards for free. but if you are a fan and you think it will motivate you to be part of what she does, then it might be worth it.

Average weight for a 16 y/o is 125 pds. If you are not over-weight and are trying to be paper thin you will pay the price. Why not just be satisfied where you are @ 113 which is small already and just exercise at leats 1/2 hour a day and not worry so much about DIETING!!!! Your body hasn t even fully developed yet.My fault I thought it said 113 pds. Well then shouldnt take in less then 1000 calories a day, no less! Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. exercise at least 1/2 steady to start and keep increasing each week. Also, depending how long you have been dieting, every body hits a plateu at some point fast for 24 hours and then resume 1000 calories a day and the water. Just remember, it didn t take a day to put it on so it won t take a day to get it off. Do it healty so it stays off and you learn correct eating habits and you will do just fine. good luck.*** 1000 calories DON T mean one meal must eat several small meals a day. It also DON T mean eating a bunch of junk to equal 1000 calories. Healthy food!

You can do a lot of things alone. Firstly, your diet, 5-6 small meals a day to increase metabolism.Do high intensity interval training (google it if you don t know what it means). Hit the gym?
