How to lose weight fast!? -

ok im 14 years old, 5 8 and weigh like 185ish. i need to lose weight really quickly because for summer i swim a lot, and go to parties, and dont want to be wearing pants so cover my legs! and dont want to look like a fatso. so if you have any methods you know to lose weight fast, please tell. and i esp. need ones to thin my legs. thanks

Ok i m going to tell u this up front. Nobody is fat. If you want to lose weight...DO NOT DIET. It has been proven that people that diet GAIN MORE WIEGHT than ppl that dont. just eat healthy foods constantly. if ur really wanting to cut down dont eat any junk food. ie candy, chips or coffee. Just remember that you are made perfectly. Dont do anything u might regret~Blob

go running every day before schooland try to keep a healthier diet with less carbs and meat and stuff and more fruits and veggies

I weight about 186 i need to lose weight fast by the summer i want to hav skinny legs and flat tummy help me? -

ok mostly all of my life i have been fat and i really need help with this i want to be attractive and today it is 4/22/09 and i want to lose weight by the summer so i can wear little shirts and have skinny legs and a flat stomach i really need good advive for wht to wear

Try weight watchers it really works as long as you stick to the program...Depending on your weight you get so many points a day plus 35 allowance points so if you want to go out to eat or have a treat or what not!! I started there at 216 pounds I now weigh 188.6 a total loss of 27.4 pounds and it took about 4 months!! Just remember eat what your supposed to eat and drink tons of water and exercise!! I go to the gym at least 5 days a week if not more!!! Good luck

Don t buy anything over the internet! It s not safe dude.One of my friends recently told me that he lost forty pound by only eating watermelon for a year! It sounds crazy... I guess you could try that if you re really desperate. Just exercise and don t eat unhealthy things. Like no soda, and no fast food! Eat more veggies and fruits, and drink lots of water! Find a work out routine that you like, and enjoy. Or else lossing weight will be very hard. Running always helps! :)You re not going to lose like 50 pounds in like a month or two. That s not really possible kiddo. You will notice all the extra energy you re going to have though. You ll be doing things the healthy way. Good luck :)

Does Plyometrics From P90X Help to Lose Weight Fast? -

I m 19 5 3 and 140 pounds id like to be at 120 by around jan. I heard this workout helps you drop pounds quick and i was going to start doing it about 4 times a week. has anyone tried it? and what would you suggest on how to do this workout like how many days a week and maybe what i should be eating. It s a good workout, very high impact so if you have any joint, foot, or back issues do be careful.No one single workout should be used for weight loss as your body gets used to doing the same thing over and over, and stops giving you good results. The Plyo X workout is a good part of the whole P90X workout program and if you want to lose weight and get fit, I highly recommend the program as a whole (you can get a good deal on it on eBay).Eat plenty of healthy foods...keep your calories up high enough to support your workouts. The P90X program comes with a guide that suggests calorie intake based on your current size and sex...or you can see the daily calorie needs calculator at freedieting.com which goes by your height, weight, age, sex, and activity level to suggest a good calorie level for weight loss or maintenance.

my opnion of p90x is not very high. It is a decent program in the sense that it provides structure and videos, which may be helpful to motivation. It is not optimal when dieting though. The risk for injury and muscle loss is high, and the whole muscle confusion thing is bull.That being said, you can drop pounds much easier just through diet, with exercise as a tool. If you want to lose weight fast, consider a PSMF. If a eat healthy and lose 400 calories a day... would i lose weight? -

Im 5 2-3 and im 56 kgs... im not fat or anything but i just want to lose 4-6 kgs to get lean... im not trying to lose weight fast but just through time... so i was wondering if i eat healthy food such as fruit, veges etc... and stop eating junk food and if i lost 400 - 500 calories a day would it help me to lose weight?

If you know how much calories it takes to keep you at your current weight, and go 400 calories below that you ll lose about 2lbs/3weeks.

These are the things i normally do.. healthy.. it works... BUT the thing that made me lose MOST of the weight was that i stopped eating meat (except for fish) and drinking lots of water and fiber (as u can see below).-go to gym and do cardio workout for 1hr every other day, plus some leg abdominal excercises-drink lots of water (up to 64 oz)-reduced the sugar salt intake (never add salt to my foods now)-Have more fiber (25grams) -crunches (30 per day)-Dont overfill my stomach-NO junk food-Green white tea-NO sodas-Changed from normal or white bread/pastas/rice to whole wheat and brown rice-Eat less meat. and it has to be 100% with no preservatives, hormones, steroids-Eat foods with high iron and fiber-many times i eat smaller meals/snacks every 3 hours (unless meat is involved)-more antioxidants in my diet-Buy organic/natural foods only (with NO preservatives if available)-more plain yogurt and herbs-only use olive oil to cook-reduced fast foods alot (i have salads, soups)NEW things i do now:-Take vitamin B-12 (good for metabolism)-Stopped eating meats! (except for fish) so that makes me a pescitarian-More fruits vegetables-Never skip breakfast-Chew well-Sleep more-DONT eat 3 hours before going to bed-Stay away from HFCS, Aspartame, etc-Always read labels-Don t cook on tephlon-No canned foods

that s a lot to lose at once without going to extremes. If you re firm on the weight that you need to lose, besides dieting, there are procedures you could undergo (enemas and such), however this will only be temporary. If you re looking for a quick weight loss, the Atkins high protein diet is capable (when used in conjunction with exercise ) of leading to 5 or more pounds per week.

Anorexia... and Exercise? Will I lose weight faster? -

So i eat only twice a day breakfast and a little something for dinner not much at all. And I exercise will I use weight faster this way?soon I am going to stop eating but still exercise, but not do this for a while just a couple of weeks. I know this is probably bad but im desperate.Will I lose weight faster?

Carry parsley with you. Parsley is an excellent thing to munch on in between meals. Not just is it good for you in terms of vitamins, but it is also a perfect way of making your breath fresher.

When you do notice a change, reward yourself. When I say reward I do not mean go for some goodies like chocolates or sweets. Maybe you could go for a movie or buy yourself something like a new dress or a trinket. This is something that can keep you going. It is a good idea to save on the money that you wanted to spend on ice creams and chocolates and then treat your self to something more substantial.

Change from table butter to cholesterol free butter. If you have a choice why not g for it, any way it is healthier for you and tastes just the same. Bear in mind that these small changes can go a long way towards weight reduction.

do NOT stop eating. if you stop eating, not only is it super bad for you, but your body will enter starvation mode and it will slow down your metabolism big time and your body will stop burning calories. you ll lose more weight by eating a well balenced, low calorie diet and working out, then you will by eating nothing and working out. trust me.

DO NOT STOP eating. That is so bad for your body and will cause damage in the long run. as long as you eat healthy and exercise at a healthy rate you should be ok. But stopping eating is never a good idea.

Stop when your body has had enough. There is no sense in pushing it. When you have worked out for a considerable time, your body will start giving you signals. Heed those signals. This is particularly true in the initial stages. Take one step at a time. Stop when you are out of breath or when a certain part of your body tells you that it has had enough.

Try to get somebody to exercise along with you. But it should be somebody committed or else your interest might dwindle. This is indeed an excellent idea. One of the advantages of getting a committed person t exercise with you is that it keeps you going. There may be days when you feel just too lazy to crawl out of bed in the mornings. On such days, the knowledge that some body is waiting for you is enough to slide out of bed. Another advantage is that you can discuss your progress and fears with another person and be a sympathetic listener to the other person as well. This is a fine way of getting motivated your self.

Stop eating and exercising is a bad combination. You will end up dizzy and probably even pass/black out. If you stop eating your bodies first reaction is to store anything it gets. It will take a while for your body to get use to the change. Especially since it is a change for the worse.
