How do you lose weight, fast? (not by starvation!)? -

I need to

Go on biggest loser. Those suckers lose hundreds in weeks.

I m not a health expert or anything, but I do know that losing weight in a healthy way doesn t always go as fast as you would like. But in the end the results are better and you FEEL better too. The things that have worked the best for me are: (and I ve noticed dramatic differences even in the past few weeks) 1. really being careful about portion sizes and not eating past the point where you feel satisfied. 2. Substituting regular snack foods for vegetables 3. Eating only whole grains 4. Having a daily exercise routine and walking/biking rather than driving 5. Avoid any food with high fructose corn syrup or hydrogenated/partially-hydrogenated oilsOnce again, this is what has worked best for me and my lifestyle and body type. The best thing is probably to go see a nutrition specialist who knows everything about everything health related.

one of the important factors for losing weight is all about the right foods...exercise too..but more on what you eat and how much..limit yourself..try to control cravings for fattening foods such as chocolate and junk foods..if you do have a habit of eating fattening foods..gradually slow it down..if you can t control yourself..maybe promise yourself to lose the amount of calories that you ate from lets say one piece of chocolate! if there is a certain part of your body that you want to reduce fat from...get exercises that would be helpful..running on the treadmill doesn t do all the magic..also try 10 minutes of ab workouts or thigh exercises..if you want to lose a certain amount in a certain time period..then you may want to spend more time exercising!

You could try to eat healthier and excercise. Don t eat big servings and if you re hungry afterwards wait 20 minutes, that s how long it takes for your brain to catch up with your stomach. And if you really need chocolate or something eat like one or two squares not the whole bar.Hope this helps!

join a gym. dont got money for that, then get excerise dvd ( the biggest loser dvd help me, so did Julllian micheals dvds) eat right by getting THE BIGGEST LOSER COOK BOOKS. get everything low fat or diet. if you drink soda or something DONT drink WATER!!!!!its going to be HARD!!! but just remember that SUMMER is coming :D

exercise, mostly cardio, and when doing cardio involve major muscle groups such as the quads (legs). also knock out sugars from your diet such as pop/sodas, and candies. eat more fruits and veggies, and also just watch your intake of foods, proportion meals properly.

Eat oatmeal and fruit for all your meals. I bet you can t eat enough oatmeal to overdue your calorie intake. Excercise a ton.

Is there any way I can lose weight really quickly without going on a crash diet? -

I really want to lose weight fast. Im about 5 feet tall and 80 pounds. Am I overweight? If I am, how can I lose weight quickly without crash dieting? I already know about exercising and drinking water. Are there any other good exercises?

I ve always heard that a healthy and normal weight for a young/middle-aged woman who is 5 feet tall is 100lbs, and that depending on bone structure (fine, medium, large) and muscle mass, this healthy weight can vary widely. I ve also heard that for every inch over 5 feet, about 5 pounds should be added to the scale. so a woman who is 5 10 should weigh somewhere around 150lbs, give or take some, once again, for size of bones and muscles. SO...according to this information (got it from my family doctor), you are clearly not overweight. You might risk your health if you don t follow a consistently healthy diet and exercise regimen (meaning with enough calories to keep your body strong). So my advice to you is to not do anything drastic, like refuse to eat or something. Just keep it up with the water consumption and reasonable exercise. And eat! The less you eat, the slower your metabolism becomes, and then if you start eating normally again, your body won t be able to metabolize calories as quickly, and you ll gain weight back quickly. If you are that worried about gaining weight...stay away from sweets and simple carbohydrates (like chips, for example)...although I m sure at your weight you really do not have to worry about the occasional splurge.

yeah definately. im 105 lb wrestler at my high school. and i usually have to lose about 3-5 lbs in about 3 days or so. and i found out that if u wear a trash bag, wear layers, and run in the heat for about 30 mins then u lose about a pound....no lie Report Abuse

No not really. It makes you sweat, which loses fluid, but as soon as you drink water, you gain it right back. It could actually hurt you if you get to hot when walking, could cause heat stroke. Your body can t cool itself off like it needs to, the reason you sweat.

eeeewwww.... just promise me you ll take a shower afterward

You will probably feel too self concious to go out walking in a trash bag. I think it would create bad feelings which create negative energy in the body. That does not promote a heathy being.

green tea will let you sit on your *** and lose fat but only a tiny amount, you have to do exercise to go with it. this is why most asians arent fat because they drink tea.

Hi I m going to tell you something that really helped me. I m 5 4 and used to weigh 176 pounds and just 4 short months later i weighed149 pounds and still decreasing :-).My little secret : Go to a book shop and buy yourself the book called I Can Make you Thin by Paul McKenna it includes a CD. ( i went to one of his ceminars and this guy is amamzing.)Its not a long book you could probably finish it in a day or two. He basically explains to you how you can eat WHATEVER you want (chips chocolate burgers and of course healthy stuff too) but still loose the weight you want. and all this by just changing the way and how fast you eat. I started with this and also went to the gym 5 days a week for about 1 hour each day and within 4 months i lost 27 pounds. Of course everyone is different but believe me if you really follow what the book says you can do it too. :-)...I m almost at my goal weight now just have like 6 pounds to go and i m there. And i thank my mom everyday for giving me that book.
