Whats the best way to lose weight fast and keep it off? -

Don t take diet pills or supplements - they re awful for you and you ll gain the weight back. Here s some stuff that helped me out:1 - Drink nothing but water, milk, or tea. Three servings of milk a day is supposed to help, but other than that you should stick with water. (or tea if you need a change.) Just don t drink soda! Carbonation actually is an apetite stimulant, the last thing you need! 2 - Cut your meal portions in half. Sucks but it works. Just don t skip meals - if you go without food entirely your body thinks you re starving and it will store every single calorie you take in as fat cells. Make sure you eat regularly to avoid that... just eat smaller portions. 3 - 30 mins of increased heartrate will raise your metabolism for 24 hours. Walk at a brisk pace (or jog...or do yoga or whatever as long as your heartrate is up) first thing in the morning and late in the afternoon (close to 12 hours apart). I got this trick from my doctor. If you raise your heartrate for 30 mins twice a day for a week, you raise the plateau of your metabolism. Very good thing. Keeping the weight off means making healthy lifestyle choices. For me personally I was a lot more successful when I made smaller changes gradually and stuck with them. Now I m a lot thinner, a lot happier, a lot healthier, and I have a lot more energy. Really being healthy should be your #1 goal, and your weight will naturally fall into place. if you really want to lose weight make a meal plan in which plans on what you will eat for the week.like on Monday you could it a low fat yogurt with orange juice for breakfast lunch a turkey sandwich w/ no mayo or condiments lettuce is fine.and for dinner eat a simple fruit salad or any salad w/ no dressing/condiments and that can set you for a day.but make sure you don t starve yourself to lose weight eat a light snack like grapes or a granola bar that is low fat.cut out all junk food and soda and think about healthy and nutritious meals.before you know it the wight is off and you feel better.make sure your health is first because if you don t watch it you could have serious health issues.watch yourself well.

No.200 cals/ day won t even be enough to get your body to function. You ll basically end up looking anorexic and die. Furthermore, your body will think that you re starving and go into super-preservation mode, and it ll do its best to not burn fat. It ll start burning your muscles first, mostly because it needs protein to survive, and your muscles are full of animo acids.You re better off doing moderate exercises and diets.

If you eat only 200 cals a day you will burn yourself out, i would recommend working out how many you eat a day now by keeping a food diary for a few days, if you eat more than 2000 (woman) 2500 (man) then drop it down to 1700 per day as a man and 1200 for a woman and no less, this way you still get all vital vitamins and minerals but eat less than your body needs calorie wise, also try doing 30 mins of cardio exercise each day this will boost metabolism and burn fat. If however you are already very slim i wouldn t recomened sliming further as the complications from being underweight can be very serious and result in death. 200 Cals a day is not a safe amount of food to be eating !

okay so i am 11 and 8 months old and i am in the early nintys for weight. i think that is 2 much but i am also 5 feet tall and i have alot of muscles. but i wanna lose some weight any ideas for how 2? (excersive, kind of foods)

I need to lose weight fast. Help please? -

I know it s not good for you. I am losing weight the correct way but I just need to lose some extra weight fast in the next few days. I would appreciate if you spared me the lectures. =] I ll pretty much do almost anything that doesn t involve throwing up food.

It s good that you re starting out right and hopefully you re eating a balanced meals; and trust me you don t want to loss the weight the easy way coz you just suffer in the long term ( sorry for lecturing you a bit:( ) a quick way to loss weight is focus on working on your muscles. Muscles need carbohydrates, so they ll absorb any kind of fat and if you eat healthy, you ll see the you, you want to see. To get those muscles work on your abs, arms, and legs by doing things like sit ups, bicep curls, and dips 20-30 minutes and if you have time do at least 20-30 minutes of skipping each day. Throwing food away is not good way. But u should eat healthy food,fruit, and vegie. don t eat fatty food. if u can eat fruit like apple for ur dinner. Do exercise about 1hr a day. Swimming is also the best way to lose weight. Running can lose weight within a few days. Leave ur car behind and walk if possible.

I am 5 7 and weigh 170 lbs. and I am 15 years old.I want to lose 20 pounds before April. What do I have to do to lose 20 pounds?

Find something you enjoy that keeps you active most days of the week. Or take up light jogging or brisk walking. Also, you might want to decrease your Calorie intake to 1800 or so. And that means more fruits and veggies, and less fatty / salty / sugary foods like burgers, fries and soda.

Watch your fat intake and do heavy cardio... recently i have been running about two miles a day in about twenty min and i also go to the gym every day... i have lost about six pounds and it has only been two weeks

First off if you try and lose it fast its most often will come back and then some... I suggest losing it gradually. So far I have lost 32 pounds and still going strong. Here s what I do:Most everything I eat is low fat, fat free, and i drink diet soda. I m not saying that s all I eat cuz believe me I can put away some cookies (they are my weakness). The key is not going over your 1500 cals a day. Now you don t have to calorie count, cuz that will just frustrate you. Just eat healthy. (i.e. most of what i eat in low in cals, so at the eat of the day I m no where my 1500 cals, which means ill lose pounds)The key is to eat many many times a day. I eat like, 6 or 7 times a day. And make sure you eat till your full. In doing this each time you eat you get fuller faster, in turn eating less. Drink lots of water and orange juice. Snack on oranges, apples, wheat thins and fat free cheese, 97% fat free popcorn etc.I can go on for days so ill stop, lol.... GOOD LUCK!!!

Diet and Exercise. I know cutting back soda is a big help. Also try cutting down on snacks and if you have them get the 100 calorie snacks or opt for fruit instead.

my body fine its just my arms i dont like how can i tone them up?

You cannot lose weight in just one area. You can tone your arms by starting a strength training routine. Invest in a good weight lifting book for beginners. You will find one at any large book store. That s where you need to start.

Sadly, you can not target any one specific area on your body where you will lose fat. Normally your trouble area will be the last place that you lose fat, but if you stick with a good workout program you can definitely do it. For one, make sure you are getting a good well-balanced diet. Two... Resistance training is very important. Not to bulk you up or anything, but to give your whole body a nice toned look. You may want to break up your workout routines into working 2-3 specific muscle groups and focus on more low-weight/high repetitions to get a more toning rather than bulking effect. Also, make sure to change up your routines fairly regularly so your body does not get used to your workouts and you continue to see results. Three... After you do an intense 30 minute resistance training workout, I would spend about another 30 minutes doing some form of cardio. You will actually burn more calories overall from resistance training (calories burned from both the workout and when your muscles rebuild) than you will from cardio, but they are both very important.Do workouts like this 3-4 times a week and I think you will see the desired result. The main focus should be on your full body and achieving maximum caliories burned rather than focusing just on your arms.
