Is this a fast, effective way to lose weight? -

I am worried about my weight just recently. I am 16, 5ft7 and weigh about 145 lbs! I am thinking i will start eating a lot less of only healthy foods and no junk at all. Each day i will do 30 minutes of vigorous aerobics and 15 minutes of jumping rope. Will i lose weight? How much weight will i lose over what period of time? Which parts of my body will become toned etc? Any tips or suggestions to lose weight faster? Thanks heaps :)

Follow the healthy food pyramid and moderate exercise atleast 30mins a day do something fun like basketball surfing bmx riding something that you are able to stick to.There is no quick fixes that last look for a manageable long term approach. go in your room and blast some music. then time yourself. jog in place or around your room for 5-10 minutes. then do some push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, etc. then do squats to the beat of the song you are listening to. also do not eat more than 600 calories a day. i just started last week. i lost 7 lbs so far! no joke. no lie. i promise it works!
