I am a bit overweight. I m 5 5, I weigh 158 and I m 12 yrs old. I do exercise 3-4 days a week. I do cardio 30 min.,but in total I exercise 1 hour and 30 minutes. I started dieting in the begging of November, but I m not really sure what and when to eat. Help please!

Just keep doing your best with exercise, and try to eat the right things. Don t eat BIG meals, try to eat smaller portions. well its GREAT that you work out that often and that long, but your young and when you start working out, unless your significantly overwieght which i dont think you are, it usually takes about 3 months for actual changes you can see start to happen, mabey your body ust isnt used to working out and it has to take it slowly, so eventually you will see changes, keep at it. for a workable diet here is what my dietician suggests . follow a practical diet. start your meal with a soup or a huge salad. this fills u up. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50 per cent veg, 25 per cent carb.remember potatoes, corn and peas come in carbs category, 25 per cent protein.this will prevent cravings too.have a protein shake if you like too.an occassional treat is OK. have a snack every three hours. fruit ideally berries, or soy nuts. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs. switch from white rice and bread to brown. eat 900gms of veggies a day.Lose a kilo a week. that is permanent loss. pick an exercise regime you like. get a pedometer and try to take 10,000 steps everyday.

You can t just lose weight without doing at least some kind of exercise. I think that losing weight is impossible without working out, even if you re dieting.Learn how to read the nutrition facts in food. Calculate the calories you eat in one day. I suggest you have a small notebook where you write all the things you ve eaten for a day. That way, you would know how much you re eating, and the reason why you re getting fat. It s a wake up call...A simple exercise maybe will do. Just walk around in malls, window shopping. At least you re burning some calories when you walk. Go to the beach with your friends! right now i am 5 11 and weigh about 173 lbs...i want to slim down to about 165 in a month or so....can anyone give me some suggestions as to what i can be doing...im trying to eat about 1000 calories a day...and i take green tea capsules twice a day...also i do cardio almost everysingle day burning about 500-600 calories....ive been doing this already for a month but i can t seem to lose any weight..any reasons why??

This sounds like a perfectly good diet plan to me i m suprised you haven t lost any weightmake sure you are actually eating 1000 calories a day because dairy products can have more calories in that you think, and if you are snacking inbetween meals try to cut this out.Drink plenty of water and you could try increase your cardio!thats all i can suggest really

first-- drink ALOT of water- at least 8 full glasses day! (peeing alot is good) also drink that green tea 2-3 thats also greatyou want to not over do it though- do 30 minutes of cardio every OTHER day dont do it every day, sometimes the harder you work the harder to lose the weight. i worked in a gym for 2.5 years- and if you want to slim down all the trainers actually reccomend cutting down to 1500 cals a day-and swimming for 1 hour every day. have you tried slimfast? i am pregnant but i live on those for snacks! they are pumped full of vitamins and they dont taste too bad- my favorite one is the esspresso one-it tastes like one of those frapichinos! good luck! and dont starve yourself! that is bad for you!!PS:NO ALCOHOL OR SODA AT ALL!!!!

Stick to what you are doing but only drink water...and make it iced water. Drinks lots and lots of water and you will see a difference within a week.
